I had my daughters birthday party there last night. First of all, I was charged twice, which the young lady was kind enough to fix it.., Out of 8 kids only 6 showed. The pizzas are small and lacking. The kids were still hungry. I was really embarrassed because it was 2 small and thin pizzas. One of my guests had 4 slices and he was still hungry? you got 2 pitchers of soda, which it doesn't matter but you don't get free soda refills, it's an extra $7 per refill if you wanted more? The only good part abo
Brought the kiddos here for school skate, it was VERY busy but the place seemed well maintained. I had to get a refund for the play area but the manager Mason was very helpful with doing so. We will definitely come back again, although the snack bar waits are a little longer than I'd prefer
I used to enjoy going to Bonaventure when I was a teen. Now it is over priced, the staff is slow with helping customers and when I took my children yesterday, the music they played was wildly inappropriate. Cursing, nothing was censored. No one was regulating the play area, and just kept it unlocked so older kids were trampling over my 5 year old. It was a terrible experience and I hope they do better in the future.
I brought my kids just for some fun on a rainy day and the service was just horrible. I was given used game cards and when my kids tried to use them I was told it was nothing they could do about it. I also ordered food and drinks the pizza was cold, the chicken strips were burnt, the nachos were stale and the lemonade was water with lemon when I took it all back and told them Al looked at me like I was crazy for bringing it back nothing was done over $150 spent just to have food and drinks we could not eat
Loved coming here as a kid, and it's just as fun now as an adult! You can choose between skates or rollerblades, which is great. Came back for my niece?s birthday and had an amazing time. Nostalgic, fun, and perfect for all ages. I'll definitely be back again!
Summary: over priced, horrible customer service, no table space, dirty bathrooms. When we first walk in, I'm floored by the high prices. For those not skating it cost $6 with is supposed to come with a few arcade credits. We approach Conner, who is working at the front desk. He keeps telling me my total before I can finish letting him know what we need. He charged us $6 for not skating, but didn't charge anyone else for not skating. When I confronted him, he stated they must have said they were with a birt
Beautiful floor. Solid wood painted blue. Music was good. Go when there's no birthday parties because little kids use those carts that cause accidents. Lights are awesome. And I love when they blow mist out.
Parents beware, $6 "spectator fee". Who in their right mind would just leave an 8yo at a public session? Mandatory $6 spectator fee for parents to stay. Paid it today to not disappoint kids for their school event, but I'll never be back. Add insult to injury, a cup of lemonade is $4.77. This is worse than the state fair or a carnival. They used to have pitchers for this price, and that's not even available on their kiosk ordering.
Visited this rink during mid-winter break to kid so the little guy could have some fun. The school district sent emails which included information about the fundraising opportunity as well as a card to present to Bonaventure. I did not receive cards from the school only the email sent to me which I also presented. The voucher I presented as explained to me by Donald Peters, the manager on duty was invalid. The issue I have was his rude, condescending attitude. He made it clear that I was bothering him and
29 December 2023 - TL;DR?come here for the roller skating. Everything else is massively overpriced. Longer story?Went here primarily for roller skating, which I would do again. That said, this is just another overpriced ?entertainment? place. They charge you $6 just to get in the door, even non-skaters?! Food was overpriced?$4 for a soda. Arcade games were the most expensive I've ever seen. $3 for ONE play on many/most of them. $1 to simply buy a card you can use to play the games with. My kids spent $1
It is a great place for you and your family to enjoy a weekend day. prices are acceptable & the area is clean and there is space for everything, you can have lunch and skate and play with other games. i highly recommend it and totally will visit again.
PAIGE WAS THE WORST HOST EVERRRRR!!!!! Anddddd they charged us for play cards that didn't even work ($100) in value, the skates are worn, and the floor is scruffy enough for u to break your neck! This was the worst! Nice atmosphere but definitely a bad experience
Although the building outside could use a little attention, I had a lot of fun there with my family. Clean family friendly atmosphere.
To charge a fee even for a cash transaction is nuts. Also to charge parents a $6 ?spectator ? fee is also unacceptable. I can't drop my kids off during the event. It's unfortunate that this business is choosing to nickel and dime their customers. The establishment is clean
I gave the guys my shoe and they gave me my skates. I went out onto the rank and had a great time until I went back to get my shoe and it wasn't there. Turns out they left it out on the counter and someone took it thinking it was their own. They tried to look for it but didn't find it and they tried to give me a different shoe but it was dirty and the wrong size. I left the place with one of my BRAND NEW UGGS and a sock. I liked the place before this happened not anymore. Thank you Dave for replacing my sh
I visited with my children this past Saturday and the skating part was fun, but you know when you have older children they tend to like hiphop and r&b and just their interest of music. I cant lie either I also do enjoy other music but when my son went to go make a song request they told them they didn't have it, but it was not to long ago when i visited previously they had played that song. The music there changed and wasn't as good as it was before. Music is what brings the energy in a skating rink, but if
Very diversified. Music selection was great. Family friendly. Seems like a good spot to have a party
I had a really good time here. People somewhat tried to social distance while standing in line to get their tickets. It was about $16 total for entrance and skate rental. You had more social distancing on the rink than anywhere else. The place did become packed on the sitting side. Most people wore a mask today. Dj was really good and kept the skate momentum up. I would come here again. POC friendly.
Seth went above and beyond to cater to my friend and I. We had extremely random circumstances and he really did the most to make things right for us. Great managing!
Good place to learn Roller skating? my son is learning here . Also have Arcade for kids, It has a food stall but i have never tried as it was not open whenever we went . Tutors are awesome. Skate Nights are famous here?
I've been here three times with all of my kids and it's always a good experience! They play the best music and the staff is awesome!
Went here for the ball drop earlier and all adults 30 and over were plowing over kids to get balloons when the ball drop is supposed to be for younger people. Me 17 years old was being pushed by a GROWN 6 foot adult trying to get a balloons. Non of the balloons had little papers in it to get anything. I have been coming here for years and it has never been this bad. The music was also horrible it was mostly music from 70?s.
Who actually likes that painted surface? It's garbage, no longer a roller rink floor. If ownership did not want to spend the money re-doing it the right way, they should not have purchased the business, let alone two. Obviously, they are not skaters themselves, clearly not a passion of theirs. It's very disheartening and super disappointing. So it's $12 to skate on paint? Lucky Management, it's now maintenance-free. I'm sure it's not nearly as busy. Ownership grossly mishandled their share of the Payment Pr
I had my son's birthday party here and I wasn't disappointed. This is a great facility and we will be spending some cold winter Sundays here, rolling. Update: This has become our second home. Saturdays are such a fun time. Great staff, decent food and they take music requests. We've made some great friends here and hope we have many years of enjoyment ahead!
Where do I begin?!?!? I was here for my niece's birthday party, and it was a blast!! We rented out the building and originally only planned to have 50 guests, but we had well over 80 show up and they still accommodated us!! Dave helped us book our party and was there during the party to help us with everything we needed. My niece and her friends had the best party ever, you are only 6 once!! I love what they have done with the place, they have had a lot of upgrades since I would skate here as a kid. Thanks
The mere fact that they have the audacity to charge a $6 non skating fee for a parent to just sit there and wait for his kid is absolutely petty and ridiculous to say the least. They also will not allow you to purchase a pitcher of pop/soda unless you are purchasing food which was again very petty. They ran out of pizza and other items within an hour of being there and it wasn't even busy at all. I do not know how this place makes it with this petty way of running and operating a business. I know I will def
Very nice skating rink. My kids enjoyed it! Clean and friendly staff. Shelby was a great party host for my niece?s birthday party. Very helpful.
I had a great time with my family skating here last weekend. I tripped and scraped my knee, but manager Donald was quick on the case to get me some ice! The kids loved the PlayZone and arcade games, especially the rollercoaster one. Thanks again BonaVenture!
I recently had a party at Bonaventure and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The staff was incredibly helpful from start to finish, ensuring everything went smoothly. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The rink itself was well-maintained and provided a fantastic atmosphere for skating and socializing. The service was top-notch, making our event memorable and enjoyable for everyone. Highly recommend Bonaventure for a fun and hassle-free party!
Great place to bring the whole family for a fun time. Friendly staff? love the updates with the game area and indoor playscape.
My son and I went here for an after school event. The staff was very friendly. It is very clean. A little bit on the pricey end.
Horrible horrible place will not turn on the heat. Will not make another or give money back for cotton candy that was made wrong?. Don should not be working in customer service. Don just stares with not even replying to you. Horrible.
This was a great place to throw my daughter birthday party. Typically skating rings are for adults and kids but this skating ring was totally kid focused. If thinking of a bday place for your child this would be a great option,
Bonaventure was lots of fun! We were invited for a birthday party and we had a ball. The skating rink was pretty large. They have lots of arcade games and a nice size play and climb area for kids. The entry fee for the skating rink is $12 and $5 if you need to rent skates. You are allowed to bring your own skates too. They rent roller skates and roller blades which I thought was pretty neat. They sold food and snacks. We had pizza. They do allow you to bring your own cake and birthday decorations if you wan
Fun but don't go between 3 and 630 that's the kids time they pzc cick the music and.they stop the music and have a race in different Age group come after that
Cost nearly 60 bucks to get in and get skates. Once Inside the music choice was terrible none of the kids were enjoying themselves. Not to mention every game at the arcade was broken! Yet they still took my money for arcade cards. Food always subpar
Decent place. Clean, nice staff, selection of both skates and blades. Most in decent shape but some were broken. Other than that a great afternoon.
Were there for a kids birthday party. Had a nice area cordoned off for our group. Very enjoyable evening for the kids. Lot of activities to choose from, in addition to skating.
Staff was rude refuse to help me a employee that looknlike katt williams had a attitude when I ask for help n he took half my tickets I will never come back
Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Never have I ever experienced such chaos and sloppiness. I booked the main area for my daughter?s birthday party 1 month in advance with a deposit. When we showed up it was taken by another family because Dave double booked us. He is so lost and confused and unorganized. He even admitted that the system showed it was booked but it didn't show a name so he just gave it away to another family. He lost all of my information I had given regarding guests for food and skaters so we w
Came here to take my sister on HER FREAKING BDAY! A lady named jone who said she was a manger said we couldn't come in because we had no parents with us? How are you going to say that! What if peoples parents passed away! You're not gonna let a 12 year old come and skate? SERIOUSLY so rude and sad. Breaks my heart, thanks for ruining my sisters birthday. Never ever in my life have I experienced something so rude from someone. We're sisters who came to skate, but again I guess ?parents? need to be involved.
My son learns skates here, good facility for kids to learn and others day they can enjoy the arcade
Great time!!!! From the beginning to the end, everybody had a blast. The rep Erica was on top of all my needs.
Nice place to skate around. It's $20/hr. They provide skating shoes. Pizza is also available. There is a playzone inside which is charged separately. Overall a nice place to spend an evening with kids and family.
One of my kids favorite places to be happy free and skating
i love this place they have really improved in the past five years. I have came here they finally finish the play place. They redid the floors and the music is better than it was. The staff was very nice and they did a good job of making sure of other people safety although there were a couple of times where there was little kids going against the flow of traffic and workers didn't do anything about it for 30 minutes. I think they should just have a crew out on the floor all day and just switched shifts but
A wonderful place to burn off extra energy! Fun times, life time memories.
Nice place little small for party sections they need more space..
Well kept, nice floors. Kids had a great time
My daughter had a poor experience recently at a class held on Monday nights. I reached out to the owner and found out that the people who teach the class only rent the space from him. He was appalled by how they treated her and offered 8 free skating passes and a full refund. The establishment is clean and well kept. The regular employees (outside of the class) are polite and helpful. The owner was also polite and understanding. He listened and shared similar stories from his personal life. I honestly felt
Went to this place for my friend?s birthday last night & the service was abysmal. We had the rink reserved from 10-12 & management allowed people who were not in our party to be there until 11:00 (?) Then they tried to offset the inconvenience by first offering 15 extra minutes of skating time (?) and then ultimately decided on giving 2 free skate passes. Why wouldn't you lock the doors at the time you close, in order to only let in reserved beyond normal hours? Wack
Not ran like a proper rollerskating center. No floor guards or staff supervising the floor. Parents with muddy shoes walking on the floor with drinks in their hands. The new owners should stick to laser tag places. Rinks should not be dead on a winter Friday night. Riverside Arena and Skate World should be visited and notes taken.
Great place to go skate. The ring and facilities are in good shape and the staff are friendly.
Wow...I was very impressed with this skate arena. Roomy enough for a good number of people and still not feel crowded in. Tons of seating. A separate area for birthdays. Good amount of arcade games that use the card/ticket prize system. Most things can be ordered by kiosk..entry tickets, food, etc. They will send you a text when food is ready. Rolling trainer cages are available for kids or whoever needs them to learn with for 5 dollars. There is a jungle gym type play area that can be accessed for 6 dollar
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE? first time coming and last time going. They are severely understaffed. We waited longer to get our skates than we had to skate. Then they charged me $17 for a 2 YEAR OLD? TWO. Then my friend ordered food and the dumb lady gave her food to someone else, then said they wasn't giving her a refund or her food. WHAT?? They had to argue just to get a refund. Then we witness one of the staff members giving people food away and taking money for it. A guy literally walked up and told the gi
I've been going here for years. I went back after a year to take the kids and, while paying, was asked if you are staying here ? I said i have to watch the kid's. There is a $5 spectator fee . I said i can leave if you want to watch my kid's lol . It's not about the $5, but really, how desperate can you be. If there is a $5 spectator fee, they need to watch the kids instead of making the parents to..
My granddaughter loves coming here, but honestly, the prices are ridiculous! They charged me $6 just to watch my Kids. Then charged $5 for a slurpee that was very small. So this little outing with two kids cost me $60. And I didn't even skate. I shouldn't have to pay to sit and watch. ?? Oh and that's just for one session. You have to pay $12 for each session.
One of the stafff member was rude today. The kids earned 72 points in Arcade and although there is nothing available for 70points she did not let them choose for 75 points. She wanted us to pick for 50 points. So cheap!!! And on top of that, when kid wanted to pick something else after choosing, she said she cant take it back because he touched it. Its not food lady ! This is what happens when you dont use your brain in job nd understnd the rules correctly. Not going to go again for sure. Very Cheap behvior
The manager Andrew was extremely rude and disrespectful. I handed my money to them in their hands, and Andrew threw it on the counter and when I asked him why wasn't he giving it back to me in my hand, he rolled his eyes and said to pick it up . It was bad enough I had to wait 20 mins just for him to come, but to be so rude and disrespectful was definitely not professional. And he just walked off while I was talking. There was a young black guy who was working also and he picked the money up handed it to me
Update: we just returned this past Saturday and music was nice and loud. And no repeats. Food is expensive for the quantity. However, they allowed us non skaters to walk around in the rink to help our kids and they keep you coming back. They gave us a gift card for the arcade games that we'll have to use another time.
Roller skate and blade both are available and change each other. You can forget about your age and enjoy like teenagers :)
Had my daughter's birthday party here and we had a ball! It's so clean and the party area is much more spacious than another popular roller rink I went to recently. All of the workers were friendly and helpful and our party host was AMAZING!! My family will definitely be back and I absolutely recommend!
Go here if you want a headache. Everything is about 50% too loud. It's overcrowded and overpriced. I left the place a few hours ago and my ears are still ringing. Expect to wait up to 30 minutes to get your skate rental. Someone needs to tell the people who come on the mic they don't need to yell in to the thing. Also, just turn the volume down.
My niece had her birthday party here. The prices are a bit high, but the kids loved it! They have skating, arcade games and a playground. The pizza was good too! I recommend Bonaventure for the kids. I will visit again.
I came here as a teenager from 12 until 17 years old (16-21 yrs ago). We went almost EVERY WEEKEND! Now my daughter does the same with her friends. I Love it. This place has improved a lot since back then. Many more things to entertain yourself besides just skating. Back then there were 3-4 games and a Dance Dance Revolution game then the cafeteria area. So much more to do now and hear for ALL AGES. THANK YOU for providing a clean, safe, and fun environment for families/People of all ages.
It was clean and kid friendly the music was ok it could have been a mix of pop music not so much rap food prices are a little high not really worth buying but to each its own they also had a playscape that was there but of course u had to pay extra for that I thought that was ridiculous!! All the extra is not worth it if u bring a family of 4 or 3 be prepared to spend at $80.00 bucks if not more It's cheaper just to buy your own skates it will save you a little overall nice place I would go back for sure ??
Have been a few times for school-sponsored skating events. They have new inline skates as of Sep 2024. One kid loves skating and the other loves climbing through the multi-level play zone.
Love this place! Fun energy, awesome music, and the best team members. I want to give a shout out to Seth, Shelby, and Liz. They are awesome people who really care about making a fun experience for all!
We had a surprise birthday party for our son today and our experience with the staff was awesome. Right from the start it was smooth. I left a voicemail message one evening and received a return call from Dan the next morning. Dan and Dave answered all of my questions and were very professional (we actually canceled our reservation with another venue because they weren't responding in a timely manner). The remodeling look great. When we arrived, our host, Alex took care of our every need and then some! He w
I started to come here occasionally a little before 2010 and every weekend for 3 years until COVID hit. Unfortunately sometime during COVID a lot of the employees left and the place has sadly been on a decline ever since. The first major issue I noticed was that they stopped cleaning the floor consistently which get really bad in the winter because parents will walk with their children while having their outdoor shoes on and this causes it to get slippery. Another big issue is lack of supervision by the s
My favorite local roller rink. We've been going here for over 15yrs and it still rocks. Clean, safe, diverse, great music.
My daughter's (6 and 3) have been here twice and both times had a blast. They both enjoy the play place and the arcade. The pizza for a quick bite was good as well so they could play for an hour or two, burn energy and then eat before heading home. Would recommend for a play day out.
tl;dr very clean, but only suitable for kids that can already skate (well) High rating because like the name says, they're clean. Two major friction points: 1. They appear to be geared towards all ages, but this really is for bigger kids as they don't have a lot of training skates (they said there was only one pair in the whole building!) and the arcade games are mostly for older kids. The jungle gym also isn't very large, despite the pictures. 2. They nickel and dime in unexpected ways. If I come in with
Terrible! Lines out the door because it takes so long to buy a ticket. Don't waste your time. Took 30 minutes to get in, 25 minutes to order food, and no one ever came to get our tickets at the arcade. Dave the manager wouldn't even come and speak to me when I complained. He told his employee to have me wait for an hour! I couldn't believe the service was so bad. And it had nothing to do with being understaffed. Poor management. After an hour and 1/2 we never got to skate? total waste of time
This place is too expensive to barely hear the music during a skating session. It was almost like I needed to bring in my speaker. Food is nasty and the little music we did hear wasn't entertaining at all. Only have 2stars because the staff was nice.
Nice last minute party for my daughter skating party. Keep in mind that you will be charge at the end of the party so be prepare for additional fees if you have additional children joining. Keep track of the wristbands that they give out. Beside running out of pizza and the floor was stickey in the party area me and my family love it. The play scape + arcade not included.
We went for a school outing and found the place clean and reasonably priced. The music was fun and upbeat but appropriate. The staff were nice. Highly recommend a family outing or birthday party here! The pizza is the only thing that was subpar but aside from that I love this place!
My daughter?s school held an event here, which was our first time checking out this place, liked it. So the following Saturday, we went again, very disappointed: too many people waiting in line to get tickets, very slow, and many people cut the line, so messed up. Good people were waiting in line for 30 mins, but who cut the line can get tickets in 5 mins.
Nice fun place that is great for family get togethers.
Always a great time for my son and I. He loves it and it's great family fun and good exercise too! Try it out!
My son is a beginner and we found coming earlier gives him the space he needs to get comfortable. The music is good, nothing disrespectful. The employees are nice and very helpful, clean facilities. We will definitely be back.
The staff was great, it was my first time with my almost 4 year old and he didn't last long... they refunded me and my son and said to come back again and the same deal applied! Very nice staff, we will be back to try again! We also stayed around and played a few games (they were not in the best condition, a few were missing pieces) but my son won 1,000 tickets!! He had a great time!
Fun place! I would be more comfortable if staff made sure the little kids didn't go against the flow of skaters. I was there last night & almost seen & had countless accidents of kids going against the flow & falling & getting in other skaters way. It's not a playground. Serious accidents can occur? especially the kids with the walkers. They just leave them in the way & it causes a hazard. I seen countless staff last night & not one of them made an announcement or talked to the kids directly. Kids even drop
This is actually a really nice place and I took my niece and nephew here. I really love to skate so I figured the three of us having an outing would be fun. It's was fun! But it was pretty expensive. My niece and nephew are 10 and 4 and for the three of us to skate was like 48 dollars for some reason. 3 dollars for a single can of pop? The walker for kids that can't skate was another 5 bucks. The day cost me at least 100 bucks which I felt was high. It was nice, overall but will be an annual not monthly thi
I skated at Bonaventure when I was a kid. I have some great memories and made many friends while skating there. I hadn't been there in quite a while but my son turned five and I wanted him to experience a part of my childhood that I really loved. BAD IDEA! I have never had such a negative experience at any place that I've taken my family, like I did at Bonaventure! There was an older man that was extremely rude. It was obvious that helping us was a total inconvenience and he couldn't have been more ob
It was my first time and the lack of organization is incredible. First of all, it was packed.. dirty tables everywhere and I get it's short staffed but it does not justify the craziness of the place. My autistic partially verbal son who was playing at the kids structure (I was watching him all the time) was pushed by a kid and hurt his hand. Did someone knew or asked if he needed anything? NO! I'd rather pay double of what I paid (which it was expensive, around $100) to never go there again.
Greatest place to go skating safe and the kids have a lot of fun. I appreciate this environment.????
Needs upgrades for the fees they charge. Donald was nice and women at the cashier window but I spent over 500 here and nothing was together party area is way to small
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
