Great hole in the wall you'll want to explore while in Alpena. Great family fun for all ages! Bob was very friendly and knowledgeable.
We had a blast in here. Lots of games to play and types to keep everyone moving and playing. The hotdogs are GREAT! If your a gamer or comic book fan it's in here. We'll be back to eat and play. THANKS BOB!!
This place is great! Awesome place to take the family, or go solo and time warp back to Two-Bit and the old arcade days. Nice new technology with old school and new games, plus so much more! Food is great, prices are great, staff is great!! Well what are you waiting for? Check out Bob's Bullpen as soon as you can!!!!
Awesome comic book store in Alpena. Great selection of funko, comic books and comic memorabilia. They also buy and sell video games. Hot dog place with an arcade attached to the same building. Amust visit for comic fans!
I rented the arcade for my two daughter's joint birthday party. They're only 5 days apart. The kids had a blast. Wendy and Liam were awesome and super accommodating. The food was excellent. Both of my girls said it was the best birthday party they've ever had. Thank you so much!
I have been visiting family in MI and this was our last stop before heading back home! So happy to see how much this business has grown since the last time I was here in 2018! The folks are so nice, they have a great variety of stuff, and the food was gooooood. Try their "Canoodle Dog" it was delicious!!! ??
DELICIOUS! Wont lie, I didnt expect much being joint with a comic store but these were great hot dogs. We each got a different one and craved more when done. Kids got a mystery box of comics - 31 comics for $10. Arcade was fun too! Took us a couple minutes to figure out the controls but once we did - there was no stopping us.
Near store, just know that they pretty much only have superhero comics. That's cool with me, but some others might have a different taste of comics.
We had so much fun in the arcade area. The staff was absolutely amazing very friendly and helpful. We will be going back more often
If you're looking for something to do with kids, this is the place! Great hot dogs at an affordable price. We just took our kids and nieces and nephews from Chicago and Grand Rapids to have lunch and play in the arcade and all the kids loved it! The best part is if you get lunch, you get to use the arcade for free and you can eat right in the arcade! It's a really cool place.
Awesome selection and friendliest, knowledgeable service! We come from Texas once a year to visit the area and found this place a few years ago. It is now one of our "must visit" places! Wendi is THE BEST! Bob ain't too bad either ??
Every year we come up from Texas to stay at our cabin in Hillman. This store is a must do store for me yearly! they have so much cool stuff, and a arcade!!!!!! if your a old school or new school gamer this is a stop you must make! arcade Hot dogs Pizza Video games And much much more!!!
There is a wide variety of comic books to choose from, different video games, video consoles, wall posters. The arcade is so fun and not to be forgotten! They also hand out free comic books during Halloween, which makes for a favorite spot during trick or treating!
We have had two parties here, the manager is amazing and so helpful, it was so much fun for our group of all ages from 7 to 85. The food was very good. We can't wait to have another party there.
I come here usually once a week for a lunch break and the hotdogs are the best. There are many choices to choose from and not to pricey either. They also have a great comic book store from the walking dead to superhero?s as well as an arcade with many arcade cabinets to choose from. I'd recommend this place anytime. Especially with not many other arcades in Alpena.
Loved this place!! Both of the girls who were working were super helpful/nice to me and my son! Also loved that you you could pay for the arcade by the hour instead of each individual game. Prices are great for both the food and arcade. We will definitely be going back! Highly recommended??

One of THEE best places to go if you are in alpena! From the bulldog, to the bullpen, and two bit operations! The best staff hands down and the best selection of comics and nostalgia. The food at the bulldog is AMAZING!! Why haven't you been here yet? What are you waiting for! Go see the man himself Bob, or any of his super friendly staff. You will not be disappointed.....!

An excellent fun place to bring the kids. Plenty of games and things to do. Reasonable prices and a friendly staff. The hot dogs are to die for and they have other food options too. A must place to visit when in downtown Alpena.
I stopped by while I was visiting Michigan and found some stuff I absolutely loved but wouldn't fit in my bag for traveling. They shipped it all out and I expected it to take a week but they overnighted it which was wonderful. If I'm ever up there again I will certainly stop by.
Very disappointed, Drove an hour to go to the arcade. After standing out the counter and being told they'd be with me in a minute, after about 5 - 7 minutes of waiting nobody wanted to take my money for the arcade. Was planning on spending money in the comic shop too but after this I doubt I'll be back.

Had two taco dogs. They were pretty tasty. I prefer fresh jalops instead of pickled jalops, but they were eaten regardless. Would he back to try others. Prices are decent and customer service was professional and courteous
I've been to all kinds of comic book stores and Bob's is top of the line. I'm constantly getting a variety of new and old titles as well as different figurines, artwork and collectables as often as I can. Highly recommended!

Took my family here just to get disappointed. We had planned on hotdogs from the bulldog before getting our comics. We walked into the bulldog to find out they closed the kitchen early, due to lack of customers. So they turned 4 customers away ... So we went to browse the comics where neither the store owner or employee would show a smidge of customer service. What breath of fresh air for Alpena! I ate at Bob's dogs and to be honest I wasn't expecting much, I assumed a guy would slap a hotdog on a bun and call it a day. Never have I been so wrong! Shop at your own risk. I pre-ordered an action figure from this shop and they gave me wrong ship dates and lied about another company to shift the blame.
