So this place is probably one of the funnest ways to go for a cheap birthday at least it was cheap for us. We had a lot of people come and the staff was so incredibly sweet. They are ready to help you in any way necessary to get organized. And I went to this place three times in one month. Two of them for birthday parties one of them being my own and one of them being a class trip. This place can be a good source of entertainment when you don't know what else to do that day. This place is genuinely amazing!
I did the mini-golf here and it was a very strange experience. It was quite fun, but the park was in bad shape. The fake grass was torn and there were no grates preventing a ball from rolling into the road at one place and my ball rolled out into the road. It was still fun though.
Eighty dollars to play broken games, and hunt disappearing staff. When questioning staff about issues I got attitude and eye rolls. I spoke with a man carrying a key ring who introduced himself as the arcade games owner. I got sarcasm from him also in front of my children. We drove a hour to play here today. This used to be a fun place for my kids. They were ready to leave after thirty minutes. I am very understanding about things that break and being short staffed. The negative issues here today co
Hi guys! I went to the arcade today. It was me and my siblings first time. We went for a birthday event. I got the $30 all day pass and the employee didn't tell me it works only for rainbow key pad vs the green key pad. I swipe on the shooting arcade and it didn't work and he explained. Later we went to the ticket booth to get toys from the tickets we collected and he said the all day pass don't work on these only just to play game. Is this true? I could have went to chucky cheese instead. My younger siblin
It's cute! Definitely could use some work? paid $5 each for mini golf and honestly that felt overpriced. The (very cheep) turf was ripped, bumpy, and bald. Got two of the same color balls (they were white) and no score card. Course is cramped together with no theme. Practically 0 shade and the ?water feature? was mostly drained and stinky. The arcade was small and the prize counter was smaller. They had other things like 2 different bowling areas, laser tag, axe throwing.
This place is fun and has decently priced basic bowling. $15 for an hour lane rental that has up to 8 players. $2.50 shoe rental. Didn't do the arcade or any of the other activities, but they seemed alright. I wasn't overly impressed with the cleanliness of anything, but it was decently well kept. Solid 3 star average. No cigarette smoke, which is a plus.
Fun place for family night! We are lucky to have such a fun place to go for all ages. The kids love it!
Enjoyed a fun filled afternoon today at Bo?s. We took a large cub scout pack along with their family members and friends. About 60 total. All went smoothly. We enjoyed bowling, arcade, laser tag and mini golf (though it was a bit chilly out for golf). The place was clean, staff were friendly, cordial, and attentive to all of us. The food was much better than expected. We had pizza, hamburger, hot dog, fries, and mozzarella sticks. All were very good and cooked fresh. All in all it was much nicer than I ex
The only reason I didn't give this place 1 star was because my son enjoyed running around. It should be a crime to have to pay $90 for broken arcade games, half broken equipment, and NOT earn tickets to spend at the checkout counter. If they are charging THAT much per person at least fix the arcade games. The staff was super friendly though. I have nothing bad to say at all about the staff. Just a bad opinion of the equipment over all.
Use to be a great place to take the family, but now the place is just dirty. Tables are sticky and nasty, trash all over (empty cups and left over food), lots of young employees just standing around. Disappointed! They need to work on there sanitation points! They play the sanitation announcement on loop on the speakers but yet they fail to follow it.
Just a bunch of slack jawed teens lazily guarding antiquated machines and a death trap of a laser tag arena. The only decent part is the food, other than that don't waste your money they aren't using it for improvements that's for sure. No idea how they stay in business the building is always 90% empty
Let me just complain, 1. Worker went to the bathroom didnt wash her hands AND THEN SHE WENT BACK TO THE KITCHEN. (Indian lady with a grey zip up) She was very rude i had my baby in my arms holding the door for my older daughter and she walks out no thank you no soap no germ x. Then i see her go into the kitchen area. I hope she washed her hands there. 2. Goodness i get it. People like weed but goodness the smell was everywhere we went. So thats not about the place but more the people 3. The space is too s
We had a okay time m. Needs a op out on having a host. She wasn't able to answer my questions.Timing was way off, bowling, party room and then all 5 pizzas were burnt. Tasted burnt and smells burnt. For 500 i expected a little more. My baby girls birthday party last saturday. Would not recommend.
Still a great place to take kids. It has laser tag, bowling, mini golf and an arcade. The bowling is starting to have some problems, but the staff was quick and attentive.
This was a terrible experience. I took my grandsons. We got the all-day pass, and I wouldn't do this again. It only works on the rainbow readers in the arcade, which would have been fine if most of those games actually worked. It told us numerous times it couldn't read the card. The arcade seems outdated. It could use an update. We waited forever to get bowling shoes, and after he gave us the shoes, he said there were no lanes available. So, I'm not sure why he didn't tell us that before giving us the shoes
We enjoyed visiting Bo's. Each day they have a different special going on. $12 for four hours of fun is a great deal! The only downside to that is the arcade has certain games you can't play with the special wristband and sometimes the other games aren't working properly. Plus you don't get the tickets from the games with the wristband. But...Laser Tag is what we go there for so it's worth it. Plus, the mini golf and bowling are also included in that 4 hour price so you can't go wrong! We went twice in on
This is a nice place to go and have a great time with family and friends. They have laser tag, bowling, and a small arcade where you can earn tokens to win prizes. We had a good time, but the prices for food and drinks are a little pricey compared to other places I have been that is like this.
Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone here if you have any questions before you go. You're not going to be able to get any answers. You're just going to have to go find out in person. Been trying to find out if we can come and do VIP bowling if you have to reserve a lane or not but I guess it doesn't matter because there's no way to reserve a lane if you can't call and talk to somebody. So I guess we'll find out later when we get there if we're going to be able to do anything or not. Hopefully manage
Not a bad place to spend a day. The overall experience was great. The only complaint I have is the snack bar was cash only and that became a big problem for a lot of parent wanting to buy their kids an ice cream. The Kong Skull Island VR game is awesome. I personally think $5.00 per play is a bit steep.
This place is pretty cool they have great prices alot of fun things to do and friendly staff.
Had the time of my life. Alex was so kind to my family. Can't wait to come back for vip bowling.
This place was state of the art when it was first built. And unfortunately, it just hasn't been kept up at all. The lanes are highly dysfunctional, and the furniture is so bulky that you don't have hardly any room if the lanes next to you are also occupied. Also, the furniture have holes in them or are kept together with duct tape. It would be nice, too, if the lights and video screens were on to give some extra entertainment and life to the place. But the food and beer selection is decent, and it's still
.com a fun spot to bring the family. The put put area outside needs some serious work. Honestly, surprised this part is open for public use, there are numerous spots throughout the course that, unless paying close attention to, will cause someone to trip and in some places, I see potential for serious injuries. The course itself is actually pretty fun. Just proceed with caution. As far as the other attractions offrm med... the arcade is fun, it doesnt take long to play through 20 or even 40 bucks. There hav
Do not waste your money? go somewhere else go hike or bike ride? anything but this. Half the games are broken, anytime you ask an employee a question you get attitude and dismissed. It's flashy and cool for the kids, but they're disappointed when they cannot redeem prizes or play half of the games for 90 dollars? this is the second time I've been disappointed by Bo?s in two years.
I did a party package for my child's birthday. It was supposed to include unlimited arcade passes and laser tag, but unfortunately there were technical issues that caused several of the arcade machines not to work and laser tag was out all night. We also had an hour for bowling but both of our lanes kept shutting down. Our party host was also 20 minutes late greeting us and was unavailable for most of the evening. They still would not discount anything from our total, which was very high due to the package
I had a great experience here and the blonde boy (pretty sure his name was Hunter if I remember correctly) was very eager to fix our bowling lane with an smile and was very pleasant with his service. More people in this world should be like him and he made me and my families night.
Lots of broken games, outdoor speakers are blown and earsplitting. Putt-putt course is poorly maintained. Bowling lanes not polished. Had fun but not worth what my group paid. Place needs some TLC.
Laser tag was great. Pretty big arcade. Dance dance revolution has some faulty steps, shame for such a nice machine. Food was just ok.
Food is a rip off. For $4.80+tax you get 5 small corn nuggets. Arcade games are hit or miss on if they're working. Laser tag is fun. Bowling is fun. Batting cages weren't working. Overall, not great, not terrible.
For our small town of Lenoir,NC.. this is a great place to take your kids. Just a have fun and let lose some of that energy? also it's a great place to throw a birthday parties, especially for children. Very reasonable pricewise and it just has a very upbeat and fun environment.. I recommend everybody check this place out. We always have a great time.
Our oldest keeps picking this place for his birthday and we have an amazing time every time.
Great family place. They have lots to do and it's fairly priced. The food is decent also. A great place to spend a few hours just having fun with your family.
We went here while we were on vacation. We bowled and did the arcade. Great pricing and lots of fun! There was only a few people in the arcade so it made it easier to play. We did the VIP bowling so we could have more privacy. The kids had a lot of fun!
Nice family fun, lots to do staff friendly and helpful. Only negative was a lot of games were not going we bought passes which is a good value
The bowling lanes did not work. The balls kept getting stuck and the lanes had zero oil on them. They Only had 3 people working. It was just a bad experience.
Fun place in Lenoir NC for family activities. The min golf was also great but the greens need to
Great fun family friendly place ! The kids and adults all had a blast! The staff was very helpful and Friendly ! Highly recommend! Would recommend the $30 all day pass as we got to do everything mini golf was a blast , bowling was so much fun , arcade the kids really enjoyed ,but our favorite was the Lazer tag! The food was good as well. Very clean and well kept.
The nostalgia I get when I think of this place Always brings me to happy tears I love Bo's the giant Spongebob plushie at the prize counter has been their ever since I first went their 10 years ago
We went here today and the overall experience was just okay. You aren't able to accumulate tickets in the arcade unless you purchase your own card and put money on it. We ended up doing this because several of the games required this kind of card instead of what's standard when you buy the regular card. The arcade games are mediocre compared to other arcades we've been to. The music is super loud in the arcade?it's obvious the acoustics aren't great. Don't waste your money on the laser maze. Seriously. Th
Great place for birthday parties...we had a party for my brother.-in-law we had a blast
If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. This was a huge disappointment for my little brother?s birthday. First off, the girl who was supposed to be organizing the event was no where to be found. She did not explain anything about how the event was to be laid out and the lanes in the bowling alley were broken and we weren't even offered to go to a different alley (which there were at least 3 alley?s open for the kids to go to). Secondly, half of the arcade games didn't even work. All it did w
They are lying about the keys we was standing there asking her to look around and she wouldn't I grabbed the keys from behind the computer I also was told out a mouth from a worker we didn't have to have shoes as we didn't wear them the last time the two workers didn't pause any of the white peoples screen with no shoes and decided to wait and do it to a group of black people so yall need to work with your workers before I clock there tea harder next time and put them in place
This place has something for everyone ! The bowling is great and super clean areas, the arcade is also super clean and has games for every age. The laser tag is super fun and they maintain the temperature great in there, the maze and are throwing is super fun I love that outside addition and the mini golf is great for kids of all ages as well as adults!
One of the worst experiences. Poor communication and outright unprofessionalism and disrespect from management the only time I came in. Never again. Had high hopes. But was hugely disappointed.
Great place to take kids to unwind. They have bowling, Lazer tag, and arcade games. This is an awesome place for kids ages 2-15. They also serve food here. The employees were friendly and very helpful. We will definitely go back when we are in the area. The prices on the activities weren't that expensive and they had group rates and bundle rates that we could choose from. If you're going to be in the Lenoir area and you have kids, please stop by and check this place out. The kids will love it and you will t
Update: New monitors, fixed keypads and working on fixing 23 and 24. I bowl here weekly. Many lanes are nonfunctional. Lanes 23 and 24 have not worked in over 5 years.
Overpriced to say the very least! Dirty unkept and unsupervised. The millennial staff would be of better use if they were robots. Then they might actually act "happy" to see customers.(customers are what brings the pay check kiddos) Full of nothing but attitude completely unhelpful. Virtually useless. If my family being here is such an inconvenience, I'll be happy to take my money. Somewhere else. Half of the games are broken. They will be glad to take your money, but you will not get to play. Dollar to tic
This place is amazing to take kids of every age they will have a blast!!!
I love taking our kids out. They had a lot of fun. I dominated bowling, but wife and daughter killed me at mini-golf. Then the kids did laser tag. I can't do that because I'll pass out. I enjoy my wife and kids having fun. This place rocks. People are friendly.
If I could give this place zero Stars I would. Bought the birthday party package, super disappointed. There was absolutely no organization. We were given a table in the bowling alley for the presents and cake and for the pizza and we were told we had to eat in there even though there were several booths across the way in a very well lit area. You can barely see in the bowling area. We had to do cake and presents and try to take pictures where we could barely see. After we finished with our hour of bow
We have been having our sons birthday party there for several years and no problems. This year when we showed up our room had been given to another party. Our party planner had moved to another party also. The planner who was working with us even stopped to take care of another party. The room we received had even been set up for a girl not a boy. Our consolation for the aggravation and having to wait to get the arrangements straight was that their obligations were met. I'm sorry to say I would no longer r
This a great place, the prices are awesome and the staff are always polite and very helpful. Sometimes they run out of bowling balls and most times there's a wait but other then that it's amazing!!
We had a great time. If anything we didn't have more time so we will be back
Hey good place for family to go. They do have too much mechanical problems if bowling and moving you around. There is no sorry about the inconvenience here is free bowling on your return. Is there a limit on how much beer they can sell per person. It just seemed there are those who had to much. Especially if your next lane to them. Lot customers go elsewhere. John 3:3
Good place for family fun, but the laser tag price and play time is a little scamish.
My grandkids love coming and there's something for everyone to do! Bowling, Laser tag, games, putt putt, food and more! Come on down! ???
It was a little crowded but definitely had a great time the family
This was our first time visiting but the kids had a blast and the three hour deal is the best! We bowled we golfed, we laser tagged and had a great time at the arcade. Plus their pizza is great!!
We purchased the $18 per person pass for the 5-9 pm time. We enjoyed bowling, laser tag, arcade games that were limitless as long as they had the rainbow lights on them and many did, mini golf which is outside, and had a good time. A recommendation would be for the staff to make sure frequent maintenances are done on all activities.. our bowling game glitched mid game and the automatic score keeping messed up . A staff member was quick to resolve this. The one laser tag vest did not record hits, the air hoc
It was super busy on a Saturday night when we went, the bowling was fantastic and we had a great time. The unfortunate part was how long and slow the food line was, waited 5-10 minutes 2 times while the line barely moved and decided to wait. The lady at Lazer tag told us to come back at 7 to join a game and redeem our passes after I asked if we needed a reservation or anything else to hold our place. When we came back at 7 we were informed that we weren't given the color passes and would be an additional 3
Fantastic place to go for fun and kids Birthday parties
Great overall experience! Friendly staff. Went for my grandson's birthday party. They could turn down the volume of the music and arcade games. We had to yell to hear each other. Great place for kids and kids at heart!
The food was good. Lazer tag was are favorite activity, it was worth it. The video games weren't bad, they did have a couple games broken or just not working. Bowling was cool. We didn't do mini golf because of the weather. The prices were good too. Overall its a fun time to hang with the family.
What a dump! Ripped furniture and just horrible impression from walking in the door. They charge you $18 for a 3 hour pass to play games and half of them don't even work! The games that DID actually work had broken buttons and the place just felt dirty. Very short staffed. Waited at the prize counter for 15 minutes and not one employee came to assist...just completely empty behind the counter. First and last time for this place.
Kid?s love it. Several games did not work, would take the card and not allow you to play. I didn't ask for a refund, they probably would have given me one, but I was ready to go anyway.
Decent place to go with family. My family & I would always go here when I was younger. Staff were super friendly and food was great! Not much a fan of bowling but they do have an impressive arcade area. I would rate better then regular arcade place such as Chuck E. Cheese I know on weekends their is alot more people their. So if your looking for a less crowded experience, then I would recommend going during the week.
Pretty fun place. The games area is a bit mediocre, but the bowling area is nice. The screens need updating for bowling though. Laser tag is fun.
Good place to go with kids, I can't really complain. There was an area of torn up fake grass in the mini golf area, but other than that there were no complaints there. Indoor batting cage was kind of a bust, the machine could barely pitch a ball. Food was good and also cheap, so that's a plus. Arcade is decent, and so is the laser tag room.
Super fun! Kids were so excited to be there. We did Lazer tag, Lazer maze and the arcade. Looking forward to bowling next time
Clean are vip bowling section Lazer tag and so much more to enjoy your time there
It's hard to find a ball that your fingers could fit through if you bowl. If someone in your group needs to have bumpers, they have to stay up for all bowlers. I liked that there is more than bowling available, and they offer different pricing options for what you want to do. The snack bar also had decent pricing, but when we would go to order, no one was working the front register to take the order. It took two trips to finally find someone taking orders. The mini course had seen better times, I am sure,
Nice bowling lanes and fun arcade, especially with the unlimited pass
Bo?s is definitely a place to bring your kids too play and bowl. Family friendly. Only thing we was disappointed in was there wasn't many games kids could play. Even with unlimited card you couldn't play any games that they could win tickets at to exchange for prizes. So definitely limited what games could play. Disappointing for the money you have to pay each person.
This place is fun! Has a variety of activities, something for every age. Great specials - value for your money....
This was a delightful surprise for our family?s first time. Great prices for awesome packages. The staff was super friendly and quick to serve. The food was unexpectedly delicious. I highly recommend the pickle spears! I got a chicken wrap also and it was as good as any local joint in town. I highly recommend to any family looking for a fun day of activities!
I went here to play mini golf with my little sister and daughter. Apparently a car ran into the course and it was destroyed. I went back in and asked if we could exchange for something else. I received 10 free games on a card for the 15$ I spent on mini golf. Half of the machines did not work or were stuck. Used that in 5 minutes and went to redeem the tickets. I told the lady there at the desk that we were only able to redeem 3 of those tokens since almost every game we went to was not working. She did not
This place is ok although they seem to only oil their lanes on the night of leagues so the rest of the time they are dry as a bone. I guess this is ok for public bowling but if you're trying to get some practice for your league you need to look elsewhere. The pricing on the other hand is not bad 15 for an hr of bowling. This place has potential just wish they would apply oil more often
The center was great inside with bowling and games. Unfortunately, the miniature golf course outside was in sore need of lots of repair. I found this one of the worst to play. Very sad!
My 11 year old thinks this place is super cool ?? mom here also had fun bowling and playing laser tag!
A lot of potential for affordable fun here but unfortunately a lot of the games are broken
About as standard as a family entertainment place can be. Low quality food at some higher prices, and plenty of things to do. Though if you have the day pass, in the arcade it only gives you three plays per game. The Lazer tag is fun, but be aware the way it's set-up makes it so that the red team is in a significantly better position. It is also worth mentioning it was clean which is always nice. Overall it's good enough.
a very fun place to spend a day! all day passes are $30 per person and include basically everything except for axe throwing which is reservation only (and has to be reserved at least a day in advance) and some of the arcade games, mostly the claw machines, which cost money. you don't get tickets from the games with the all day passes either. the only thing that wasn't made clear in anything read online was that as of July 14th, 2023 bo's is CASH ONLY because their card readers are down. so if you're plannin
We as a big family have had such good memories made here. Such a great way to spend time together with our younger and older children. They have many fun things to do like laser tag,, mazes and arcade. They just got knife throwing, never tried but maybe someday. Super friendly staff too. And really good pizza. You just can't go wrong coming here, even for date nights??
Great little getaway for the kids. We are visiting relatives from Texas, out 5yr & 9yr old were getting bored so we made the trip down. There was lots to do for them, very similar to other big named places in Texas. We bought the all day passes for $30 and did ever laser tag, bowling, arcade and putt putt. Best part is our kids left happy. The only thing we didn't knew was the smell of the place and the food court. We ordered a lot of different things and none of it tasted good, at least to us. This is defi
The "pass" only gets you unlimited bowling (if you get to actually bowl due to glitches that make it unplayable), air hockey (only 2 tables so you probably won't get to play), ski ball (only 3 machines so don't expect to play much) and laser tag (which is also set up for red team to always win and has glitchy equipment. Played 3 games, on both red and green, red will always win due to the green base being exposed and easy to attack so if you have kids who care about scoring and fairness, expect some complai
Virtually nothing seems to work here. The mini golf was in bad condition, almost none of the arcade games work properly (or at all), location appears to be severely understaffed. Bowling and Lazer Tag were pretty good and the staff we could find were very friendly. In fact, I don't blame the staff at all as this place is obviously poorly managed and insufficiently maintained.
Took my grandkids to Bos. I thought it was a good deal for 18 dollars for 3 hours per person to play everything available. Although the batting cages cost more to use...which I thought was a little bit of a rip-off.
Great place for kids and adults to have fun!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
