Blazer Tag Adventure Center

Blazer Tag Adventure Center

Reviews Summary

Blazer Tag receives overwhelmingly positive reviews for its fun laser tag arena, nostalgic arcade games, and friendly staff, with many praising memorable experiences for families, parties, and corporate events. The massive, multi-level arena impresses both kids and adults. While most highlight excellent service (especially from bartenders and hosts), a few note issues with equipment maintenance, vest malfunctions, or uneven customer service. The pizza and drinks are frequently mentioned as highlights, though some criticize the food quality. Minor complaints include outdated decor or arcade machines needing updates, but the overall vibe is energetic and welcoming. A handful of negative reviews cite poor management responses or pricing concerns, but these are outliers amid widespread enthusiasm.

Love this place been coming here since my childhood now I get to bring my daughter! Come check it out great prices really cool spot

I went here once when it had just opened in the late 90s. The massive arena imparted a core memory in my 10yo brain that would bubble up in dreams now and then. I just went back yesterday now in my 30s, and trippy nostalgia aside, the 3 story arena is still massively impressive. The experience is pretty great for kids and adults alike. We especially liked the bartender who gave great pro-tips and makes a fun drink for the grownups. While a few spots in the arcade could use some maintenance or a fresh coat o

This place has and will always have a special place in my heart. Was raised going to Blazer tag and it seems to just get even better each time I visit. 10/10 for birthdays (just celebrated my 25th there with friends) and hangouts! Love the blazertag and arcade games!

This place is truly amazing. I went here on a date with my boyfriend and we loved it. The arcade itself is very nostalgic and still use tokens and tickets which is amazing to me personally. What really made this place amazing was the man who works there who's a MAGICIAN. He showed us these amazing tricks with the tokens and a deck of cards. Will absolutely be going to this arcade from now on it's absolutely worth stopping by.

Some of the best laser tag to be found in the US. Massive three-story arena with ramps, catwalks, towers that's the biggest in Texas (3rd biggest in the country, 5th in the world). Also a fairly well-stocked arcade, snack bar, and bar as well. Not that busy on a late Thursday afternoon, but began to pick up closer to 5. Staff was friendly and very helpful, even giving some tips to those who wanted them. Games start 40 minutes apart and last for about 20 minutes. Equipment was pretty nice, tells you exactly

The wife loved it. It was her first time in 40 years ever experiencing laser tag and she definitely wants to go back with the kids.

We had so much fun here. Played two rounds of blazer tag and enjoyed arcade games in between and after. The games are fun, the prices are reasonable. It is absolutely a must do for the whole family, friends outing, work event, it will be a hit for all ages.

The laser tag arena is actually so cool, best I've ever played at for sure they went all out. Also so cool it's locally run and the coin arcade is great and all the staff seem like they just have fun working there and are so friendly, definitely recommend!

I remember coming here as a teenager and I have some good memories of this place. I once did a lock-in here and that was fun. I only came for the laser tag each time I came. Only thing this place needs is a better website. It's disorganized, sluggish, and out of date in more than a few ways. I also noticed some of their details are inconsistent like the laser tag durations. Try one of those professional website builders!

Both times I tried to play, my vest had issues. First time I had to sit out half the game, second I left because my score kept getting messed up. They comped the first game for me, but when I brought it up for the second game, the manager just argued with me instead of taking care of things. I brought 15 people with me, and the $10 for my personal ticket meant more to him than giving a good experience. The arcade is mostly ticket games. Good for kids, but if you're looking for fun games to play. I can't co

Nice and small place. But the laser tag area is great. It's so huge and so many areas to hide. Fun for adults and children. If you kid is afraid of the dark.....there are other activities for them to do. There are games for all ages. You can also have corporate events, School events and adult parties here. This place is fun for all ages. Stronger encourage you to stop by and check it out. Also, don't pass on the pizza. It's the best in town.

Paid 400 for a 4 child birthday party, 5 including birthday girl. Asked if they would give us an extra blazer tag game since we paid so much and was told no. I was just a little disappointed in the customer service. The party planner just dropped off anything brought and never led any kind of party preparation. I was very surprised at how little I got for a much as I paid. Was completely disappointed in this experience.

Fun, fun, fun!!! Super old school vibe, they still use tokens and have concession food

The machines were barely working. We were constantly having a coworkers over there. Majority of the workers would look at us and turn away because they didn't wanna come and deal with it. We were there at a birthday party and the host was good but the rooms suck. They have a very small variety of games and very small selection of prizes to get with your tickets. I would not recommend this place to have a birthday party.

Awesome place! Brought the kiddo & a friend for his birthday, & we all had a blast. Laser tag was quite the workout! Great game selection, and the pizza was top notch. Even the prizes were better than most places. We'll definitely be back. Were there 2.5 hours and could easily have stayed longer. Go check them out!

Blazertag is the best arcade/laser tag arena I have ever been to. It's always a great time and the staff is phenomenal. Special thanks to Vincent and Chris for always taking care of us and making our time here memorable.

I threw a surprise birthday party for my husband and it was a blast. It wouldn't have been the same without party coordinator Angel. Angel was attentive and made sure we were having a great time. Angel should be the CEO of Blazer tag.

About the staff & Location: The manager, Joe Michael Ramirez, is really fantastic guy. He's worked this location for about 17 years out of the 20 or so years this place has been open. The other employees were all very considerate and the place was really nice and clean. About half of the location is an arcade and the other half is a (B)laser tag arena. There is also an area up stairs with tables and rooms for private parties. Food & Beverages: There are fountain drinks for the kids and for the adults who w

The best laser tag experience ive had so far. We played free-for-all and team matches. Large selection of arcades as well for the whole family. And they had decent pricing for kids birthdays(I don't have any yet but I thought it was a good price). Also the pizza was better than I expected, fresh cooked on site.

Reasonable price for laser tag and is a ton of fun. Arcade also has a variety of games ranging from luck based to skill based. Like other arcades I have visited, prizes for tickets are silly.

EVERYONE GO HERE NOW!!! Listen y'all, this is the best laser tag spot this side of the Mississippi fr. The staff is SOOOO friendly, helpful, and patient!! Prices are fair, pizza is yummy, laser tag is lit. We always have so much fun doing our work Socials here!! Vincent helped us so much, we love him <3

After being in Austin for 10 years I finally decided to check this place out for my birthday party and it did not disappoint! Has to be one of the funniest birthday parties of all time. CJ was the star of the show with not only his mad bartending skills but he did a little magic show and blew all our 30+ year olds minds! The guy taking out names for laser tag was awesome and the pizza was really good too! My 80's themed birthday was so much fun and I am honestly kicking myself that this was my first time th

It was a blast until a team of Fats came in to play. Ruined the whole vibe and stunk. I tripped over one guy rolling on the ground complaining his laser was broken and definitely sprained my ankle. The pizza definitely was the highlight of this outing.

AMAZING!!! Greatly appreciate how wonderful and friendly the staff is!!! The lazer tag is even fun for parents!! Best value is Texas!!!

It's pretty loud and overwhelming but the games are really fun! And the blazer tag course is AWESOME. The food isn't great, but it's an arcade so that's expected

Just wanted to share that we had a great experience! My nephew had his 13th birthday and the whole experience was great. Deja was very attentive and took great care of us! Gonna be honest, this place has been here for years and I have never been inside. But I let age make me think it was going to be a dump. It's is NOT! When I walked in I was instantly brought back to my childhood. The games were games that I played when I was a kid. Also, the inside is well taken care of and I didn't get to play lazer tag

We love BlazerTag. The games are awesome. A great variety of games to play and awesome prizes to win. Super fun Lazer tag arena. The food is pretty dang good. We enjoy really their pizzas. The staff is incredible. Always very attentive. Whenever a game has an issue they always come over to fix it promptly, the staff is super friendly, one of the staff members showed my kids magic tricks. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy.

Very fun friendly place! The staff was excellent. They were helpful in figuring out a good plan to accommodate my small walk in birthday party. I even had a child come late and was able to get them on the same Blaser tag ticket with the others. Very pleased!

Tried out Blazer Tag for the first time and had a fantastic time! Margaritas were so good! Great staff! My husband, daughter and grandkids had a blast too! Definitely will be returning.

Desiree went above and beyond to help me coordinate an event for my organization. She was very kind and responsive to calls and emails. We had a great time at Blazer Tag.

Saw my first movie when it was a theater at this spot, got to grow up with blazer tag and dang did I love it and still love going down there especially since they serve drinks now ! Love blazer tag!

Blessed the dawgz with their unparalleled greatness. Reigned justice to keep the holy sport of laser tag fair for all. Nutrition was of utmost importance with the Blazer Tag za, ensuring the production of an audio visual MSSP masterpiece ran smoothly.

Absolutely blown away with how awesome this spot is! One of the OG Austin landmarks with a 3 story, maze-like fort dedicated to laser tag (15+ people - Teams, < 15 - Every man for himself)

lost a few friends today. 21 gun salute. I wouldn't change it for anything ??

Great place to play but really needs to upgrade the AC *in the Arena area. Lots of games for basically all ages (Grandchild to Grandpa) with a great staff and a friendly atmosphere.

?????????? Blazer Tag is hands down the best arcade and laser tag experience around! From the moment you walk in, you're transported to a world of fun and excitement. The original tokens and tickets bring a nostalgic charm that's hard to find these days, and the largest laser tag arena is simply out of this world! But what truly sets Blazer Tag apart is the incredible staff. They bring a magical touch to everything they do, ensuring that every customer has an unforgettable experience. Whether it's fixing

Friendly staff and reasonable prices ... Where you can sit back have a drink or play the video games while your kiddo is upstairs playin laser tag. All around great family fun !!

Walked to this place from the cathedral of Junk (another great place to check out in Austin). It's got an average arcade, although the first one I've seen with Fruit Ninja (which is right by the entrance/exit doors). The real reason to go was the lazer tag course which most definitely did NOT disappoint. Pretty big course. Be prepared to sweat and have sore legs. There's also a bar with very reasonable prices on drinks. CJ the bartender was a super welcoming and willing-to-chat guy. He also showed his roman

A bit past its prime perhaps, but I love the enthusiasm of the staff like CJ. And the course is really fun.

Amazing experience! Perfect place for adults to have fun.. don't bring kids lol.

I enjoyed the kids pizza party room on MSSP, all the Dawgs were running around sweating bullets, and blasting phasers

Love the atmosphere here! Everyone is so friendly and my kids loved this place coming back for my sons birthday ??

????Cool place and Game's are fun plus prizes and food pizza and beer kid friendly ???? and seating up stairs ???????? ThomasDaddyG. (Tik-Tok)(Twitter)

Played here for a company holiday party and had a blast! Bubbles (CJ) was our host and made even going over the rules a fun time! Bubbles also showed off some impressive magic tricks!

Not my favorite. My daughter spent a ton on tokens and was disappointed in the prize offerings.

Super cool place! Was here for a birthday party. Everyone had a super fun time.

It was great time. I did play first time in laser tag and it was awesome. Thank you

My 7 and 10 year old girls had a blast. Vincent the manager made the experience so memorable.

The laser tag arena is huge with at least 3 levels, much larger than I was expecting and very cool. Pretty clean with good air-conditioning. The staff were very friendly especially the manager (Vincent, Victor? Something like that).

Ok... 1 game of laser tag was enough for us. Arcade is kind of crusty, but we still had fun.

Had a fun time with the kids, food, drinks and arcade games while you wait between games though there's not a good system for your drinks if you're playing. I recommend taking a break between games if you have smaller kids as well. Old school tickets instead of points on a card, kids thought it was fun to put them in the machine. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I hosted a birthday party for my 32 year old wife and about 30 of her friends. The party package was legit, the laser tag was a ton of fun, and they accommodated to all our needs! Great staff, great management, great pricing. Thanks again for the great time!

Soo ill post this review here please read b4 showing up and dealing with julio the manager this place should be shut down soo many issues but this one was serious?. We had our sons party here 10year olds and one one the kids leaned on the wall at the same time as dropping a coin in the machine in the pictures ?? and was shocked like electrically shocked to the point where they didnt wana stay any longer was super embarrassed i have tons more pics and problems such as anthony being super disrespectful and un

Great atmosphere and prices. This place is a hidden gem! Arcade games and food are a great bargain. Had so much fun in the arcade we didn't event play Lazer tag. Will definitely come back

Great vibes and fun games! The staff are amazing as well!

We just had my son?s birthday party here and it was a great experience! The staff were so helpful, especially our party host Liz. They are definitely doing customer service right! We've done other birthday party venues and this was by far the best experience! Some of the arcade games could use some maintenance but everyone still had a fantastic time!

Reasonable prices. Activities for all ages. Very friendly staff. Clean considering the amount of people in the establishment.

Went to two arcades today and two different experiences. Blazer tag was ok, laser pack worked intermittently. The soda fountain looked a little dirty. Fun place, but needs a little attention.

This place is AMAZING !!!! If you ever wanted to be in a real life video game this is it. Locally owned and operated. Celebrated our son's bday and was not a disappointment at all. Thanks for all the Fun Blazer Tag Team

Gotta say; took me over a decade to try this place out! I typically go in for paintball or tactical, but Blazer Tag gets it right, despite being a ?laser tag? place. The indoor course has multiple levels with ramps and it's so satisfying to shoot folks from above or below. The guns tell you whom you hit and who hit you, which has made for some incredible debriefs afterwards with strangers. They sell whiteclaws and Jell-O shots, which is a plus for me ? but don't get too tanked, there are a lot of munchki

We always have fun here. Lots for all to do even my 4yr old who just plays the games.

It's great for a spontaneous activity. The prices were reasonable for a pass, though I recommended to get your moneys worth and get a bundle for two or three rounds. My pack malfunctioned in the first game, which is the first it's ever happened to me or any other people I've gone with. But, they switched out my pack pretty promplty so not too big of a deal. The food is standard arcade food, not restaurant quality but good snacks. Also the bathrooms were surprisingly clean which is very appreciated.

My first and last experience in Texas Austin. We were 2 team U.S ?? IRAQ It was incredible game for us, we were playing as a real conflict but it was cheerful and we had so much fun. I wish it will be global.

Upon first impressions the place seems fine. However, half of the arcade games and 2 of the 4 ticket machines weren't working, and the food was horrible. During the first of 2 games of laser tag I played, I could not hear the instructions because there were about 20 children talking over the video, and the staff did nothing. Also, when my receipt says the game starts at 2:20, I expect to be playing laser tag around 2:20. Instead I got in there at around 2:17, and had to wait another 10 or so minutes for the

Took my kids and they loved it. We all had a great time, laser tag is one of our favorite things. Plenty of games, decent fries(that's all we ate)pretty decent sized menu, and they serve beer. Prices for all of the above, aren't bad.

We came here to kill some time before our flight home after a week in San Antonio,TX. The young lady at the front desk was dismissive of my wife's questions and cold not figure out how to process a credit card. Their food selections rival some of the least desirable gas stations and with a empty parking lot we should have known better. Our stay in San Antonio was met with great service and friendly people so not sure what the issue was. I text my some who lives in Dallas and he said Austin was the Portl

My boys are 6 & 11, we had so much fun at Blazer Tag this past weekend. The staff were kind & helpful, my little one a ticket jackpot playing at the arcade & we all had a blast playing lazer tag! I would have given 5? if the pizza tastes better.

The quintessential laser tag experience for those who love the game, and a fantastic place for newcomers. Has to be one of the single largest arenas I've ever visited, proving that everything is bigger in Texas.

We have had many memorable family experiences here. They are run by the same great crew for years and really seem to care about their customers. I always recommend people try this place out. It's great for birthday parties.

Pretty cool arena ?? for Laser Tag, but it definitely needs some renovation ??

Blazer Tag has the biggest laser tag course in Texas. If that's not enough, they also have a big arcade with a variety of games, a bar, a snack bar, and amazing customer service. I can't say this enough - they treat their customers well. I'll be back ASAP.

What an amazing staff and manager. We had a private event for between 200-400 people for several hours and they accommodated us with smiles and joy. There was a big event before our scheduled time and still when it was go time for our group the manager was on top of things. Even made us signs. If you're looking for a fun place to bring all ages. Look no further!!!

Had our engagement party here this place was absolutely great! Staff was awesome and the everyone was extremely flexible in helping us set this up. Would definitely recommend hosting an event here.

Wow. What a great experience. We went with our 5 and 8 year old kids and both the kids and the adults had a blast. I think for 55 dollars they had a package for four laser tag passes and 100 coins. Laser Tag was awesome. The game was abouy 20 minutesong, the arena was huge, and it was a great mix of adults and kids. The gear barely fit my five year old so I wouldn't recommend any younger than that. We will be back.

My brother and I went here on a Saturday night and it was so cool. Reminded me of a place near Ft. Worth that closed called Laser Quest. We played 4 games of laser tag, the map is awesome. Then we played games in the arcade until it closed. Would love to go back and love to see a place like this still in business and busy.

The best place to play laser tag by far. You will get sweaty, trust me. They do have food here but i usually just grab the free ice water they have available. The arcade section is relatively small however it does have a good selection of games and it is apparently the last arcade in Austin that still uses coins for arcade machines

Best Lazer tag arena I've ever been to, and really the only one worth visiting ever. A totally awesome team works here, take a few minutes and chat with them, they're the best!

Huge laser tag arena. Great indoor activity for elementary age upwards. They have party rooms too & cost $9 per person/ game. We'll run & highlight of our family trip to Austin. Thanks!

We had a great time! Pleasantly surprised by the low prices and value for the laser tag and arcade games. Just to walk in the door at other "play places" in Austin it's $100 easy. But we spent half that for unlimited laser tag and 100+ tokens. The kids and I left exhausted and with a bag full of prizes! I loved the nostalgia of using real tokens and receiving real tickets at the arcade. Also the employees are super sweet and so very patient! Looking forward to our next visit!

The best laser tag place ever. Been coming here for 10 years. I tell all my friends about this place. The one downside is I can't play anywhere else. All other laser tag arenas are a disappointment.

it was fun but one of their employees were so rude to my friends and I, totally unprovoked . we were so excited to play lazer tag and my friend took a picture of our hands doing the peace sign ??while we waited for the game to start, she gave us dirty looks and also told us to stop talking like girl what u said ??????. when putting on the gaming equipment , my friend accidentally put it the wrong way and she passive aggressively made a joke saying ? were you not paying attention ? like? girl its not my fau

One of the best laser tag facilities in America! Huge laser tag facility with accurate lasers. Great game play (it feels much less chaotic and is a cleaner game than most laser tag facilities). A lot of fun!

super clean. I was very impressed. arcade just right size.

We reserved for a birthday party, the staff was excellent!! The kiddos had a good time and I think the adults had an even funner time. Thanks Blazer Tag Team for meeting and going beyond our expectations. Highly recommended.

This place is so much fun! It's your typical musty arcade, but don't be deceived. The laser tag is an absolute blast, and the arcade games too. I played for the first time here, and had so much fun! Great for groups, or go with a friend or boy/girlfriend. Nice for the price as well.

Really great experience; CJ (bartender) was an awesome host

Really impressed with their Lazer tag set up. The manager on staff was very accommodating when it came to the fact my family and I were sunburned from the beach and decided we really didn't want to wear the vests and play another game of Lazer tag when we bought the 2 game package. Because of this great customer service and on top of the fact all the staff were kind and made us feel welcomed the entire time we will definitely be back! You guys were great!

Great fun!! Lots of fun for kids and grown ups. Great games, not too much of a rip-off (like certain pizza buffet places...). Laser tag is pretty awesome!! Ropes course thing is cool but they may be taking it down and maybe replacing it soon? Very friendly and helpful staff, too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
