We had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday. We rented a cabana for a couple hours. It was located in a spot where we could sit back and watch the kids play. My only complaints would be: There's no fan in the cabana. It gets pretty warm and muggy up there, and a bit uncomfortable. My mother had to go downstairs to get to cooler air. My silly complaint is that everything shut down at like 4:30 and I didn't get to ride some things, the surf machine was shut down even earlier if I recall. I m
We drove from Topeka and it was well worth it! A little pricey but not bad. I have kids in all different age groups and they all enjoyed it. Loved the hot tub and the swim up bar for adults.
We were there from about 8-10:30 and the kids all had a blast! Stella at the surf feature was AMAZING! Helping the kids try the surf feature, explaining the technicalities, their personal cheer leader. She was GREAT!
We enjoyed ourselves. Food was decent. Got our tickets online a day in advance for 35 a piece. What was a bummer is the surf machine was down while we were there from 11 to 3.
This is a nice place to come and stay. I would have given more stars but they really seem to be short staffed. Or at least when we went. We showed up well after check in time and our room was not ready for another 2 hours. They let us down to pass the time. I did find it odd that there were a ton of wet towels laying next to and on the power sources for the elevators.
Nice place to take the kids. It's not cheap, but it won't break the bank.
The kids LOVED the indoor water park! They all gave it 5 stars! From the adult perspective it was fairly disorganized from check-in to the food court. It seemed under staffed and many of the employees were so young (likely HS kids) that they weren't sure how to help. Overall it was a fun quick trip and the connected hotel was clean and comfortable.
Waterpark was amazing. Both days bartender was late getting set up and open. Second day was over an hour. While it's a park for kids, there's a bar for adults to enjoy. I noticed the first day service was slow. Drinks are poured lightly ( I understand due to location the goal is not to get parents intoxicated). I had 4 drinks in the span of about 9 hours, so obviously not looking to get wasted. The second day about 9 people were seated at and around the bar waiting since about 10:45. Once she opened
It was a fun experience. The height limit for the large slides is 48 in. They do not allow you to anyone under height even accompanied with adult. And the smaller slides. You can take smaller children with you. Towels are provided. Life vests are provided. Food prices on the inside or standard for any event with a concession area. So either feed yourself well or be prepared for tire prices. There's a swim area for very small children, a swim area for children in their queens or above and an adult only area
A very nice inside water park. If you're a kid plenty to do and have fun with. As an adult the choices are; lazy river float, big area at bottom of slide pool area, bar side pool area (water very cold), jacuzzi hot tub area (only heated pool area offered), or boogie board surfing area. There's a concession stand for refreshments and some food items typical choices you would think of. As a guest of the hotel I was given a discount coupon which was nice since I was there for less than 2 hours that made it und
We came as part of a special event so our admission was heavily discounted. It was free for 2 and under. Kids (7 and 2) had a great time on everything. They are the perfect age for the small toddler area and the large fort. We got a large pizza, snacks, and drinks and it was around $35 for all of that. Not a bad price for dinner for a family of four. The big slides were also great. Two reasons for the 3 star review: first, safety/ineffective lifeguards. They were all very nice and respectful, but they didn'
Had a really great time for a kids party at Blast Off Bay. Pizza was flavorful and had about 8 slices per pizza which was enough for 6 kids and 2 adults. Wished they would have left the surfing open longer because by the time we were able to make it in line they told us they had already shut it down. But had like 5 kids still waiting, so we had to leave the line. It was only open for like and hour.
Paid over $100 for three tickets, which I had to have one to supervise two twelve year olds. when I would supervise, a couple very young lifeguards would constantly offer me a tube to swim, I said no just watching, so they would tell me to move then, which I was in no one's way or not passing a boundary line. it just became rude so I sat down, not being able to "supervise" ... filled out a waiver to use the diving board after the hotel said we could use it if staying, but was kicked out of the diving board
Honestly, two stars is generous. The extra star is for the women at the front desk who were nice. I paid over $320 for tickets, mind you, I paid for these tickets a week in advance. I seen an ad on Facebook for Blast Off Bay, and a comment regarding workers being sent to the ER for breathing in high levels of chlorine. I hoped that it would be corrected by the time our family went, however the minute you step into the water pad area, intense burning of the eyes & after a few minutes, skin irritation. Ther
We reserved a cabana here for both of my son?s birthdays this year because we had been before and had so much fun. That was at the beginning of 2024. My how things have changed? we got there 10 minutes early as instructed with a small balloon bouquet. First we were told we couldn't take the balloons in, which whatever but would?ve been nice to know and I wouldn't have purchased them. Second, but the time the party started at 4:00 the line was so long to get wristbands that the kids attending the party were
We had a great time! It was snowing outside and we were swimming inside. We are staying at the hotel too. Makes a nice staycation especially when it includes 4 tickets to the water park and free access to the genesis gym.
Water Park is nice and clean. And super fun for the whole family. I enjoyed the lazy river, my kids loved the slides , and husband loved the surf activity. The pizza was really good too at the snack shop. There are towels provided and lots of tables. The price is great for all that you are getting. Swim up bar was cool for 21+ and the hot tub was 18+ which was really nice for the adults. All in all will be returning and loved it.
We went to Blast off bay for my son?s 10th birthday this year. They made it particularly special for him and all his friends because they all stayed on top of when the guests arrived and bringing out the pizza at a good time after. The waterpark was phenomenal and he liked it a lot. They even put my cupcakes in the fridge and my son?s little birthday slushy on the way home was the top. Thank you so much to Jeff for making this year?s birthday so awesome, shout out for even helping get our things to the car
Nice little indoor water park but the staff is some of the rudest people I have ever seen in my life. You have to sign a waiver to go in and on that waiver says no refunds just to give a heads and they close early sometimes. I do not recommend this place unless you like rude people.
The place is on the small size so the older boys got bored. There were plenty of tables. Food was reasonable...superb pizza!! The water temp was perfect! Too bad the lazy river wasn't longer.
The name of this place speaks for itself, it was a literal blast! So much to do here. My ten and four year old kept busy for over two hours! Also, a huge shout out to Kara for making this trip possible for us.
This place is wonderful. All the staff is very friendly. Even us adults had the best time. This is our second time going there and we cannot ask for more. We are so excited to have some thing like that's close to our hometown if you have not went I definitely recommend going and honestly the prices are not that bad you can spend an entire day there Saturday from 10am-7pm honestly, what's cheap anymore nothing. We will be coming back. I feel like anybody that's complaining and making these bad reviews. It's
They was terrible ! And me and my babies felt well discriminated!!! They tried to charge me for another night after I have already paid twice! Lawsuit for discrimination will be coming and if you are melanin please don't go ! They are racist and will find anything to put you you out .!
Shout out to the patient teenagers working the boogie board/surfing station. Very respectful, professional, and lovely people. The park was great, you can get in and out all day if you keep the wristband, towels provided in the bin next to the door, go at 11, and never on Saturdays. All bags should be clear but they will work with you if you don't have one. Water bottles are kept outside the door, you can go out and drink. Try the funnel cake fries. Worth a trip!
Went to a birthday party for a friend?s child yesterday, and while they had three party hosts, the experience was honestly disappointing. The two male hosts were doing their jobs, but the female host seemed more focused on trying to make them laugh and get their attention than actually running the party. She was clearly the one flirting and not paying attention to the guests at all. At one point, she just stopped checking in with us altogether. The whole vibe felt messy and unprofessional. Everyone was pret
Blast Off Bay was a blast! The atmosphere was great, the amenities were top notch, the kids and adults all had fun. We played for 4 hours (4 adults and 4 children) and ate pizza, hot dogs, fries, cheese curds and had lemonade. All the food was good, no complaints there, and the service was great! We will definitely visit again, it's just a little out of our price range to go regularly
If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I live 2 hours away from here, and I decided to do my son's 10th birthday here. When I called and got all the information about the party, it seemed pretty good for the price, so I decided to put the deposit down. When I arrived for his birthday party, I went to the front to check in at 1215. The party was at 1230. First off, they told me that it was way more than it was supposed to be, even after my deposit. When I asked several times if I only had to pay for swimmers
We went during spring break ?25. It's not a bad place. It's also not great either. This place opened for string break so you would think that the chlorine smell wouldn't be bad and the first 10 min it wasn't, then after a few hours, I guess patrons don't use the toilet or make their kids use the actual bathroom to potty, it was rancid with chlorine odor. So bad that we had to leave. It's fine for a few hour max. I think that the blue dye would be a good idea for this place. Yall Goddard peeps need to stop b
Loved the hot tub. Someone needs to turn on the drinking fountain. And for the price you pay for the food. There should be pickle relish to go with the hotdogs.
It was ok not great wolf type no outdoor stuff not sure if they plan on adding on later but I'd say highly recommend that outside Waterpark part too as inside there's 2 main older kids slides 3 slides in the fort they havea big area for little ones but not alot of space for setting towels also no sunbathing when summer hits... no outdoor pool the lap pool could be seen but not accessed. The surf board thing runs 30 minutes every 2 hours so plan ahead on that being limited we didn't even attempt at it...
Great indoor waterpark! It has tunnel water slides for kids and adults. There is a hot tub bar for adults. A few of the water buckets/canons weren't working; however, I'm not sure if they were broken or turned off.
We went this weekend was gonna go to great wolf lodge but found was not within our budget wife found you guys and it fit into every category we had and all we really wanted for our kids to have a good time hotel was nice the pool by swim up bar was warm and a great place to sit and watch the kids the only two suggestion I have is more stools to sit on at the swim up bar and staff on all the slides as kids kept going down one after another and running into each other at the bottom of the slides but all and a
Very fun for the whole family ! Lots to do, the refueling station (concessions) was fast, yummy, and lots of options for everyone !! Water park is for all ages. Lockers are pricey ($15 for a family sized one) but worth it. Although most people seemed to just leave their stuff in a chair and it was fine! Place is clean. Staff is nice and attentive. Pricey for a day of fun all together but we enjoy taking our kids out to do these types of things so that doesn't matter much to us ! All in all would highly reco
My daughter and her dad drove all the way there for their advertised daddy daughter swim night tonight and were rudely told it had been canceled, unknowingly to us! She was excited all day and we did not see it posted anywhere announcing it had been cancelled. We are understanding and know things happen and change but didn't appreciate the attitude of staff
This four star review is an average between The kids giving five stars, and the parents giving three stars. The kids had a blast (Pun intended)! There were lots of fun slides, a pool with basketball goals, a hot tub for adults only, and other fun activities! However, I have two main complaints about it. First is the constant roar of water is so loud that you have to yell to talk to one another making conversation across a table difficult, and trying to get the attention of a kid nearly impossible. (Everyone
We celebrated my daughters birthday today. It was a blast. The staff is amazing, so nice and respectful, & attentive. We will def be coming back!! Lots of fun for everyone!
Best way to end our warm weather season!! Every single staff member/life guard was enjoyable to speak with and made our day a true blast! Thank you, Sha and Blast-Off Bay team!! 100% returning for more fun soon!
Great place to take kids of all ages. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and facility was clean. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely come back again sometime!
I've got mixed feelings about this place, 1 -no ware on their website does it detail info on water park prices, 2- this was 300 a night and not include the water park... But the area is nice and the rooms were great so middle star it is..????
Went with the family tonight to this amazing indoor water park for one of daughters birthday. Tons of fun for everyone. Then we hit up the arcade, which was a lot of fun!Our girls loved it, we got to enjoy drinks in the hot tub, go down slides and ear some pretty tasty pizza. We will be back
Very nice good for small kids n adults if you enjoy a drink lots of small slides n 2 big ones they also have the surf machine it unique
We are from South Louisiana visiting Salina for a few months. We were looking for something fun to do with our 2 girls and beat the 100 degree heat. This place did not disappoint. We booked the Hotel and received 2 day admission to the Waterpark. Our girls loved it, there is something for everyone of all ages. Lifeguards could enforce rules a little better. The place is very clean and I did find the concession prices were bar at all.
We had a great time at blast off bay with our kiddos! They enjoyed the experience except for the colder water temperature. Seems like for an indoor water park, the water would be warmer, but my 7-Yr-old actually asked us to leave because she was shivering so bad. She and my husband went to the arcade while I stayed back with my other daughter. The arcade actually closed at 6:45 instead of the posted time of 7:00. Unfortunately they didn't tell us this, so my husband loaded up a game card with $50. We weren?
Blast Off Bay could have easily been 4 or 5 stars. Awesome water features. So many things for the kids and adults to do. The biggest and really only problem we had was how cold the water was. We were only there for about an hour because our sons' lips were turning blue and purple from how cold he was. We finally cut our losses when he was shaking and shivering uncontrollably. It wouldn't have been terrible if we could have warmed up in the hot tub but it was only for adults. It was mostly frustrating to pay
It was great. It like they took the best parts of Great Wolf Lodge water park and put in Blast off Bay. The kods had a blast and the adults had alot of fun. It is definitely worth the price
EDIT* Hotel now has a bundle deal again! Thank you so much!!! Great time here as usual! Kids love this place, and it's a great go-to as the summer weather goes away. Wish the attached hotel had better promotions/discount for water park entry with hotel stay....that was a great package before it was discontinued. Please bring it back ??
My kids enjoyed their time here , though I paid for my ticket I chose not swim and just sit around and let my kids enjoy it, not sure if it's becuz the lockers were out of use or ppl are always this selfish and rude, but it was extremely impossible to find anywhere to even sit ! I found some chairs along the back wall and ordered them a pizza and drinks they sat in the chairs . All the tables were taken up pilled with people belongings but zero ppl around even in the eating area , kinda unfair if ppl wanna
The only fun thing there is the surfing station, at an $80 price tag for me and my kiddo nonetheless. Cost $15 more for a locker when you arrive. No one carded me for the 2 alcoholic beverages I had $18. Also got a hotdog for me and the daughter $9.50. None of yhe pools are deeper than 3ft 9in. So swimming for an adult is out of the question. All said this will be the only time I attend this water park, you can easily just get a cheaper ymca membership and all of their water parks are free every day.
Had a blast with some of my great grandkids and other family. There was so much to do for adults and kids. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food from the concession was good too. We definitely plan on going back.
Super awesome place. My son and I had so much fun!
The whole place was amazing! We had a lot of fun and the staff were the best!
Great time with family. We came from the local area and spent an evening together. All had fun especially with the surf machine! On par with, if not better than, Great Wolf Lodge. Will come again!
Having fun. Not crowded for 1st day they're open after Wichita schools got out, perfect for a Thursday summer kick off!! 2 large slides, 2 medium slides, big area for the littles. Discount price for holiday weekend, so definitely worth it.
This place is incredible. We had a great day there. The employees was awesome and very friendly.
We brought our kids and grandkids here after Christmas. We had an absolutely great time. We found everyone. Staff and lifeguards very helpful, willing to help and cheerful. I highly recommend it. A great place for families.
Don't know if the Hotel is associated with the park in any way, but the 45 minute wait to check in should have been my 1st warning of how the night would go. On New Years Eve with a major event at the attached park, the hotel had ONE front desk person checking people in. The place was clean and that is about all I would give it for their heavily advertised New Years Eve party. Paid $44 each for VIP tickets on line and for the life of me don't even know why. The confirmation stated cabana's first come first
Watch out for the hook, line and sinker routine, we came last year (Jan 2024) for a weekend, 2 days in the Waterpark 2 nights in a room, one package price...so we booked again from this year (Jan 2025) same price or reasonably close to last year.... UNTIL we check in.... then they want another $100+ a day for the waterpark because now it's not included in the package... would have been nice to know that when we booked online ??...
It was terrible trash in the bathroom. i bought the hotel room, and there no water pass included they also lied and said if we check in, we get passes but you don't never go here room also trash.
Over price little water park, the surfs up is only open for ONE hour. The hotels price is more then online deals. NOT SUCH A GOOD place anymore, unless you just like spending money.
Great small family water park. The wave rider was super fun, but the options are limited for anyone older than 13.
Severely disappointed... Incorrect height requirements, higher prices for younger/shorter children with restrictions, and young overly aggressive and disrespectful high school age lifeguards. We will not be returning and will go to better establishments with better customer service and amenities.
We had lots of fun! Great place to take the kids for a long weekend.
My daughter and her best friend and my baby had a blast would definitely go back
WARNING!!! I don't normally write reviews - but people should be aware of the potential for fraud. I am deeply frustrated and concerned regarding unauthorized charges on my account and the lack of follow-up or resolution from this team. I visited this water park two years ago and, despite the high costs, had an enjoyable experience. However, shortly after that visit, my husband noticed a random $25 charge on his debit card. He attempted to address this with your team but received no response and ultimately
My children and I had such a great time. All of the staff were kind and patient. I enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and my children would have stayed all day if I let them. Can't wait to come back and visit again.
The staff are very friendly. Everyone there was really nice and all smiles. I purchased the tickets for my family ahead of time. I ended up paying $100 more than I needed to because I was eligible to receive a discount for booking the Hampton Inn. As I was checking into the water park and the staff realized I was staying at the hotel, with no hesitation he refunded $100 back to me as a Blast Off Bay credit that my family and I were able to use on anything we wanted inside of the water park. That's good busi
Lack of management. I took my family here around 5:00 on a Thursday. The hot tub was not warm at all, supposedly it was broke but had no sign, the Bar was supposed to be open for business but the bartender was sitting out in the lobby with what looked to be like the head lifeguard and didn't come in at all in the 2 hours I was here. This is typical of most of my visits here. I tried to order Mac n cheese but was told they were out(again), so then I asked what else they were out of, the kid behind the counte
Had a great time with the family: wife, boys 6 and 8. Facility: brand new, clean, warm Pool Staff: helpful, friendly, patient Food: basic but the kitchen worked with our diet restrictions Cost: not a deal but fair
Expected more for the price. For the amount of money they charge, I expected something along the caliber of a Great Wolf lodge. Honestly, it is tiny in comparison. Unless they decrease the price of admission, we won't be back.
Amazing service plus the lifeguards were very cool.
We purchased our tickets at a discounted rate promotion during winter break. Our ticket restrictions stated we could arrive at 4. We were able to check in early. The check in process took about 15 minutes. We entered the water park and I purchased a family locker in the restroom for an additional $15. There were no showers in the locker room, instead there were showers to rinse off in the main space prior to swimming. We had 3 people who were excited to try the wave machine. The wave machine was only open
So our family and I wanted to give this park a chance despite all of the negative reviews. I just want to say that overall we had a good time. The park was clean and everyone was nice and friendly except the lady in the front desk that sold us the tickets. After she gave the total for 3 adults and one toddler I asked- ? I thought its 50% off for gym members?? She then rudely replied talking over me the whole time how its 50% off advertised price which is (70+$$) to which i said- That is not what is adverti
It was overall a fun time with the family, but, I dont know how to put this, but the water didn't seem as "wet" as some other parks I've visited. Chlorination was adequate, but I dont know... just something... Two thumbs up!
We went in October 2023. It was so much fun. Not too busy. Staff were all friendly. The manager, Nikki, is an employee you want on your team. She went above and beyond showing us the facility and all the amenities. Loved that I could send kiddo with dad to play and I could enjoy the adult only hot tub while watching the game. Loved that hotel had ease of access.
My kids had the time of their lives. They love water parks
Great fun for the whole family! Older kids and adults enjoyed the big slides, lazy river and basketball goals. Surf machine provided entertainment for the adults sitting at the swim up bar and concession stand had snacks when the kids got hungry. There was something for everyone! They even opened early the day we went so we enjoyed an extra hour of fun!
I was blinded by the amount of chlorine but other than that they had dippin dots so 5 stars
FYI they PAY you $5 in arcade tokens to leave a 5 star review. That should show you the honesty behind this establishment. This place is so disappointing. It is overpriced for how small the area is. They advertise there are 9 slides, but truly only two are actual big slides. The water temperature was definitely not 85. The worst was the food. After waiting 30 minutes for our food, my $10 chicken sandwich came out raw. All of the fries and breading had a funnel cake fried smell and taste to them and not in
To the owner- you NEED repeat customers! This is where a lot of kansas attractions fail, people will visit a place once, and never return if the experience isn't good enough. Now the review lol: We used to vacation every summer, but the last 2 summers we were too strapped for cash (bidenomics) so this summer we decided to visit a couple water parks we could drive to & return home same day. This is a place for kids and pre-teens ours are 13 and 16. Dad and I had to pay $40 to watch them walk around and talk
Had a great experience today. I took my son down for a day of fun. We arrived, went down a couple of water slides, and then got some lunch. Food was unexpectedly good, and the service and overall experience was great. What really made the experience was when things went wrong. I made a dumb mistake on one of the slides and after launching myself too hard, knocked a big gash in the middle of of my forehead. Once I got down the slide and found my way to someone for help, the lifeguards were very professi
Great for younger kids my 7 yr old had a blast.
This place was awesome. Took a group of girl scouts. The loved it. Will be back.
Olivia at the bar was absolutely amazing and so sweet! The guys at the wave surf were accommodating for my younger boys. The people at the check in desk were beyond kind. You are missing out if you don't come here!!! Seriously!
I can't say enough about the fun we had here! This is a great get away for the fam! All the water slides, the lazy river, the surfing, and the swim up bar for adults! This place has it all! Including great staff and life guards! Jeff was very professional and helpful with any questions I had. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Blast off Bay for a great time!
My family had a blast at Blast Off Bay! It was a great experience for us, especially with our three and one year old. We loved that there were different areas for them to have fun in. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and we're already looking forward to coming back in the future!
Such a fun place! The space theme creates a fun environment. Adults can sit in the hot tub and watch the tvs (we were here during March madness) and the swim up bar is relaxing and comfortable. The pool is warm and fun for the whole family, and lots of water attractions for the kids!
I truly wanted to love this place. I will say the kids had fun but our experience was just horrible. This place lacks in customer service something fierce! I tried to communicate on bringing a large group there (30 people) I called and was given a email, so I email said person and didn't get a response for well over two weeks! When I responded to that email I never received a response so I emailed again! Finally called and they said they would contact said person and call me back! No one called me instead I
Great weekend getaway. This place has it all!! Waterslides , food, surf machine, and an ADULT ONLY BAR and so much more. Service was OUT OF THIS WORLD and the lifeguards were very attentive. If you're looking for some family fun over a weekend and don't want to spend BIG BUCKS at Great Wolf Lodge check out Blast Off Bay!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
