Big pizza, buffet and salad bar and arcade!!! We just happened to stumble upon this place looking for a decent Place for Lunch. What we found on the inside was a awesome. Big pizza, buffet and salad bar!!! Their advertisements don't Mention that they have a huge pizza buffet and salad bar With lots of options that's always open. Is super friendly staff. They have really good Handmade pizza. Not to mention the awesome barbecue. I suggest the sliced Extra moist Brisket and ribs. There also is a large Arcade w
This place is clean the food smells good almost wanted to change my order and do the buffet. I'm visiting and haven't been here in 10 years and have been wanting a good pizza and this hits the spot. I got a whole pizza to go but it's not really an expensive place
I think that this is the last BBQ place in Hobbs that we hadn't tried. Walked in and could smell some good BBQ, staff was super friendly!!!! Order was to go, green beans were excellent, scalloped potatoes were much different than what I'm used to but back at home I melted some sharp cheddar cheese it was back to excellent category again, plain just was okay, sorry. Hot link sausage and pulled pork was excellent and the unmarked sauce was excellent for them. No complaints from my crew, son destroyed the ribs
Went to Big Cheese while in Hobbs on a quick weekend vacation. The pizza was fantastic, but the kids didn't really enjoy the games much.
I was dining in and a homeless gentlemen walked in and asked for some food and a drink, this place gave him a drink and had him wait 20 minutes till they closed for them to hand him some food that was left over. Great place with awesome hearts. This act of kindness gives you a 5 star in my book.
Tasty food. A little set back in time with the furnishings and logo but food was on point.(Think 1988 little league post-game party) Taco pizza not so bueno. Good price also: $8 without drink. Proud to be an Irish Italian pizza parlor as the sign says.
I love this place!! I grew up in Hobbs and this place was a childhood staple for me! I had birthdays there and when I had kids they had their birthdays there! The best pizza buffet ever! I miss it so much! Lubbock has no good pizza buffets, Big cheese pizza will always be my favorite pizza place! Haven't eaten here in years had it today It's still so amazing!!!

I like this place but I had a bad visit tonight. I only come here for cherry pizza. We got there at 8:10 pm and paid and I requested a cherry pizza be out out on the bar. There was only a few things on the bar manly what everyone leaves and don't want. Immediately after me asking this and paying 50 bucks to eat she says we are about to lose and are not putting anymore pizza out. With an hour to go really? So yeah I guess go early as you can lol
Could have gotten a 4 But! We had buffet. I asked the young man " what was in the roll" he said I don't know? A lot of stuff" the special pizza I ordered, the bread was almost rubbery. Maybe the didn't let the dough rise long enough? They would be a very good place if the would train the staff to be more knowledgeable (oops a big word) and follow SOP.
One of the best pizzas I have had in a while. I ordered carry out but the inside has games for the kiddos and a buffet area for the entire family. Ordering for carry out is quick and easy if that's what you prefer.
If the pizza is fresh, then it's good. Also if it wasn't for the BBQ place that is attached, I really wouldn't eat there. The games are decent, or at least the ones that work. But the prizes are ridiculous you would have to spend literally 4x the amount of money than the actual cost of some of their bigger prizes. And last, the restrooms are always disgusting, they are never clean, and look as if they only get cleaned once a month. Walk down to Albertsons if you need to use the bathroom.
Had so much fun great family place perfect for parties def going back
The pizza tastes like cardboard. The All you can eat buffet does not have very many options. Your always waiting for them to refill the salad bar. Not very clean at all. Games take your money. The prizes they offer are very cheap. Which means they are ripping you off because they are money hungry. Very old and run down.
After going here for over 20 years. I never thought I would receive the worst experience at this place until tonight. Although the food was good as always. It made me pretty upset that while I was too busy with my kids at home I order take out and had my father pick it up. He wasn't given the pint of ranch (MINE & MY KIDS FAVORITE), while he picked up my order. I then called and was told to go back and pick up my ranch. So I loaded all 4 of my kids in the cold weather back to big cheese. The worst part wa
I just wanted to spend a good time with my family and when I looked down at my plate, What did I see? A ROACH Crawling on my food 100 dollars wasted. Never eating here again
This was certainly a big cheese pizza. Their dessert pizza was good just wish their was more of it, but what can ya do. There was a totally rad b day party happening too.
It smells really bad in the game room and the staff members have really bad attitude don't appreciate that and the bathrooms smell like crap and they don't clean the tables where other people eat and there prices for food is ridiculous I will not be coming back here and y?all should not come here it HORRIBLE
Foods always yummy wish there could of been more on buffet than peperoni and sausage ones but we did come in middle of rush service lady was nice we did come in with a whole crew for a birthday lunch love the arcade games some need to be fixed cause it did take some quarters but oh well lol
This place is expensive for there to be very little on the buffet. Can't get enough to eat and no dessert was up the whole time I was there. The games are fun but every other game takes your money and it's hard to get assistance with getting your money back. Some games they can't refund because the console is not theirs. The prize center is small with little of interest for adults or kids. I wouldn't waste my money going here again.
Big cheese has been open here in Hobbs for years and it's starting to show its age. They need to spend more time with upkeep of the fame room
The girls at the prize counter were very kind and the food was great!! The pizza was flipping GINORMOUS!!!!! it was SO GOOD. The cheese was so gooey and cheesy, the sauce was so smooth and tomatoey and thr bread was so warm and bready. Great place. 11/10.
We were in Hobbs for a a couple of nights and were hungry for a pizza found Big Cheese and were glad we did Some of the best pizza we've ever eaten!! Great taste. Lots of ingredients on our supreme. Will definitely go there again when we're back in Hobbs
Five all around. Came from Carlsbad, brought nephew to play games food was very good that broccoli pizza was dank and everyone was nice. Will def come back
Did not meet our expectations for a pizza place. We drove 6 hours to get here and it was recommended. There was very little pizza choices. Salad bar was in poor shape, not alot of choices either. No dessert. This was suppose to be a team outing. The place also had games for kids like Chucky E Cheese but $1 per chance. Not worth the long trip to eat here and be disappointed.
Pizza was way too thick and hardly any toppings. Couldn't keep up demand and seems like they could care less on kicking the pizza out. I personally wouldn't go back.
I guess it's only good food & service if you go in person. We came to town, ordered delivery, it took over an hour & a half to receive some cold Stromboli, salads that were wrong, bbq with no sauce, and a 32 oz tea that poured out in the bag. Over $85 worth of food. I called to let them know hoping to just get our orde remade and redelivered while it's atleast a little warm but the manager herself was rude , hateful and hung up in my face when I agreed to just get a refund. I called back asked her if she re
Large Selection of Pizza and a good salad bar. If you happen to pop in, do try their Taco Pizza it is so totally worth it. It is out of this world! They also have terrific spaghetti. Oh and great ice tea! And the price is great ?? And we can't forget the kids will love it. Lots of great games to keep them entertained. ?????
I love it. The buffet is off the hook! Family-friendly environment!
Went to eat for Mother?s Day, wish we went somewhere else. It was $35 for me , my 8 yr old and his dad. For a buffet that's ok.. but the buffet was literally empty. Hardly any pizza to choose from, no sweets, sauces completely empty, majority of trays empty. There was one other family there not including us. So it wasn't because they were swamped. Just lazy. Then after we were there for about a half hour, they started taking the food to the back and turning the heat racks off. We literally hadn't even got t
Would definitely consider ourselves regulars here. Their pizza is delicious and unique which we definitely like. Would rate 5 stars but cleanliness does not seem to be a priority here. Witnessed some unsanitary events (not necessarily of the employees) but obviously it hasn't been enough to keep us away. Wish they would remodel, definitely think a new image would help them a ton.
We found this place just by chance and I'll tell you I am a pizza fanatic and that was the best pizza I have had in a long long long long long long your place is awesome even though we live in Midland Texas we're going to make a trip there once a month
The place looks like a total dive! But SERIOUSLY DO NOT let that stop you!! WoW!!! The pizza is AMAZING!! VERY pleasantly surprised!!! I will gladly make the hour drive
Actually didn't go to Big Cheese. Went next door to Bovine and Swine BBQ. It has been over 6 years since I last visited this establishment. Food was hot and fresh. The manager (A lady whose been there for 8 years)) was social, polite and respectful. Answered all my questions with direct answers. LIKE THE TERMINATER, "I will be back."
I order from Big Cheese Pizza and their sister restaurant Bovine and Swine every other week. Food is fabulous and reasonably priced. They also deliver. The driver are super nice and punctual. I get the perfect 10 giant pizza. The ribs have a great dry rub with sauce on the side. Try them today you won't be disappointed!!!!
Good place for children?s birthday parties, pizza is good, salad bar is fresh although lacks variety. Game room is dark and not childproof, newer arcade games, buffet is stocked rather quickly, one could request a custom pizza to be placed on buffet as well. Needs some remodeling.
Was over charged!!!! Plus some random guy goes in doesn't pay an gets a handful of napkins got some pizza an didn't pay an left ,an nothing was done I spoke up an told the young girls in the front an they just laugh about it . if that's the case let everyone eat for free if we letting people walk in an grab pizza an take it to go for free, most of the games are broken or weren't working this place isn't the way it use to be , like way back in the days , as for the pizza it was warm but didn't have much sele
One of the most pleasant places I like to get pizza from either delivery or dine in and carryout they always make me feel welcomed! Not sure when I sent the above post but now it's been about a year or more and their hospitality hasn't changed one bit great service yall!
"your built like a fraction" is a personality thing... nobody likes fractions, nobody likes you. your built like a fraction. and yes, judging by the way ur acting, i can tell ur easy to draw. id love to see you survive a term here lmao
Big Cheese has always been the place to go when wanting delicious pizza. I've been going here since I was a kid. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to eat pizza and play arcade games!
Absolutely amazing like a cicies pizza but better pizza and more games for the kids
Food is good, game room is nice, BUT ONLY ONE BATHROOM STALL EACH??? The restaurant is huge... Seats at least 100 just in the dining room, plus at least another 50 in the party area, and they only have one bathroom. That's ridiculous for as many patrons that come here.
I do enjoy Big Cheese Pizza and have ate there many times. Only problem I've ever had was a chicken wing with feathers still on it ?? They have rooms for big groups and birthday parties. I like going and getting their buffet.
The best taco pizza in the area
Was blown away by the fact they still had the buffet going during a pandemic. Pizza was ok.
My husband ordered two medium pizzas one taco pizza and a cheese burger pizza and I never such delicious pizza I have ate a hamburger pizza but not a cheese burger pizza or taco pizza yummy thank you guys
Really loved this place. The food was good and the games were fun. Really had a great time as a Lil family.
Not impressed at all. It's not bad...but the price for a lunch buffet does not accurately reflect the very few options they present. $20 for two of us and they only had maybe 3 pizzas out. No cheese at all. Wondering about MSG?s as I feel so full and sick to my stomach after one piece of pizza and one single breadstick. That's absolutely ridiculous. Next time I'll go around the corner and grab little Caesar?s for a quarter of the price and exactly what pizza we want.
Horrible experience, very uppity and rude customer "service" from the inexperienced hostess and waiters. This place has been reported for rodents and rodent feces in the past and it doesn't looks like things have gotten much better, the entire place is very unclean. I would avoid this joint like the plague.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price for the pizza buffet wasn't bad. Kids had a blast in the arcade! Great assortment of games and little rides!
Great place to eat and let the kids play. Price spent per person included the game room!!
Fun place to spend time with kids. They serve pizza, salads, and really good desserts at the buffet area. The arcade is filled with new games and give tickets to replace for prizes. There are games like crane machines, ticket dispenser games, and other electronic/coin games.
Pizza looks delish. I came in for to go wing order. Wings are spiced up and baked from scratch tthen you dip them in whatever sauce you choose. Tasty but would have preferred them a bit more done. But that's just me.....a wing junkie. Nice folks. Great for the kids.
Bad experience with the games, most of them didn't give out the tickets, they ate the coins, it was uncomfortable to have to report them. please maintain the games ... the food was good .
The best for party's i recommend the jungle room for any partys this is my second party there an we have the best helper she was so nice soft spoken kind an understanding ? it was a small party but a big mess to clean up an she did it without complaining. She would find us an ask if we needed anything.
$55 for 3 adults and 1 child not including what was spent on the ridiculous priced games, the food isn't good at all and half the games will take your money and the establishment will do nothing about it. Please look for somewhere else to take your family
Hey Mr Ryan, I love your pizza. Wanted to call in an order tonight, no answer. There's no way to order online. I just feel like you're missing an opportunity. Now I have to go all the way to the store to get my bigcheese...OK den. Not everyone loves you like I love you.js
For the price, you could definitely get a lot of food. Some of the food options were delicious such as the dessert pizzas, the garlic bread, and the stuffed pizzas. The rest was alright but definitely not the best I've ever had. For instance, normally I eat the crusts on my pizza, but I had no desire to eat these crusts
I want to let you know that you guys have a new employee during lunch hours that does an awesome job with keeping the place clean(especially the buffet and salad bar) ..It is a very pleasant and friendly place during lunch now so keep up the good work PLEASE...oh yeah I believe her name is El or Ellie or something close..she was GREAT
Had barbecue at the little barbecue counter. The brisket and the sausage or fantastic. Highly recommend.
Food wise, I absolutely love this place, best pizza in town and everything else they have. The only thing is its outdated and it makes it look dirty. But i love this place so I'll always be going back
Came here solemnly for the food based on the reviews. I was not impressed food more on par with a cici pizza restaurant. Great place for family's who want to take their kids out cheap eats and big game room.
Everytime we come the buffet is always empty.. No pizza .. We ask for it and they take like 45min to get it out... It shud always be full since it a buffet place....
made my stomach no feel so well, but it tasted good at the time...am very nice and polite employees
Good pizza buffet, fair prices fun for the kids to go to play games and enjoy birthday parties or events. Great delivery service also downsides some times this place is over packed and video games dont get serviced enough always issues getting tickets for prizes or taking your quarters
We didnt enjoy it tonight at all everyone ate at different times because they didnt bring everyones food at the same time and it took really long to get our food it was our worst experience at Big Cheese although we do understand with this pandemic things have to be different but why not make alot of food and hand everyone a plate and let one by one pereon go and ask for whatever they are going to eat and the workers serve them.
Pretty fun place. I would like to see more salad bar options. The arcade was fun even though it was packed with kids. We all had a great time.
The pizza here is hot and fresh. The salad bar is clean and well stocked. They have a game room for the kids. We will go back again.
It's been 6 yrs I haven't gone in there and it was a great day I went in very nice people, and pizza was very hot and good . I enjoyed my salad the only thing was that too many pizzas w jal my grandson couldn't eat but great service. I'll be visiting again .
Love me some Big Cheese Pizza. Love that desert cinnamon pizza they have.
We ordered from here and the order was cold and also late. We got told we would get a phone call the following day to get a refund bug never got a call or refund I will not be going back here again
Tasty pizza! But games are overpriced and some don't give you tickets because don't are stack up, plus they should have a little place with toys or games for little kids because some don't know to play big kids games and just throw away money and don't have fun.
Great place to enjoy customer service and best pizza in Hobbs, granted my favorite pizza is served in New York. This place is second to none in Hobbs.
Best place to go for pizza and games. The buffet is great and carry out orders are quickly made. been going here since I was a kid.
New restaurant in town since my last visit. They made a great pizza. Very friendly waitress.
I was pleasantly surprised at the buffet options and the taste of the food. I actually ate twice! Priced appropriately enough that they'll see me again.
Pretty good pizza! And family like atmosphere.
Haven't been here in a long time, great tasting pizza but a little pricey.
We had our daughters birthday party there and it was wonderful she had a great time. And we were very satisfied with the service and the food was great.
This place has never let me down. True to the game.
Great place to take the kids and let them run free. Was going to order buffet until I watched five or six children help themselves without supervision.
Buffet price is reasonable only because the games are a high price and not to mention the prizes are ridiculous! Little cheap toys for 375/500 tickets! Never again!!
Always decent service. The pizza is good and it's locally owned/operated business.
It's been over 20 years since I've ate at the Big Cheese Pizza in Abilene but the food was still great
The best hangout with an arcade for kids in town!
Love to take my family there good food ,great customer service
Always on POINT. Buffet was very good today, FRESH
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
