Husband and I played the Heart of the Mountain for date night. Excellent room - we are experienced players and still found it the right mix of challenging and fun! Nick the owner was our Game Master and was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Super fun and creative escape room experience. It was our first time doing an escape room and it was also very beginner friendly. We are excited to go back to the the other, harder ones!

Our family has been several times. Most recently for our son's birthday. They did a VR escape room and had a blast. Highly recommend.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating to our needs, explained everything in detail and offered assistance and took many pics for us at the end. We failed the mission unfortunately but were pleasantly surprised by how detailed and complex the room was. Definitely worth it will be trying again

My 9-year-old son, two friends (adults), and I did the "Timeout" escape room. It was the second escape room any of us have ever done, and we all loved it. We found it both challenging and fun. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in a beginner-level escape room!

Always a great time! We have done the regular escape room and VR and we have a blast each time...even if we don't always "Escape." The rooms are well put together, the puzzles are challenging and fun but completely doable if you are observant. This was awesome! I didn't know that the owners built the rooms! We had a chance to tell our escape master a joke for 10 extra minutes which we needed to escape! I love this place and would absolutely recommend.

It was fun. Fast paced. I thought we moved through the clues pretty quickly, but still didn't finish with four of us, which I think was the most we could of had in the room. Will try again.

Just the best escape rooms! The owner is clearly passionate and dedicated and it shows in the rooms. They're very creative, our favorite ones we've ever done!

I brought 4 people that had never done an escape room before. We found it challenging but doable in the time provided.

I booked a VR experience for my son's birthday and they had nothing but good things to say! They are already planning on their next visit. The staff was thorough, communicative and very kind. We will be returning for sure!

I've done 3 escape rooms at Beyond, and been happy with every one. I've brought my daughter?s friends ages 8-10 and they did well with the various puzzles. I can't wait to try their new rooms and VR escapes. My only suggestion we be for the younger groups to do a simple tutorial of how the locks work. I had a few kids who solved puzzles but put the wrong numbers or letters into a lock and then thought they were wrong. Staff is very friendly and the location is nice and clean. Excellent experience! I went with my two kids- ages 9 and 11 and we did the Time Out room. All three of us had a great time- the puzzles were challenging enough and there were a lot of them. We escaped with 31 seconds left! We will definitely go back and do the other room sometime soon!

We had a wonderful time visiting Beyond Escape. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was really fun. It was unique in a way that both the adults and children in the group felt like they were active participants in the solving of the puzzles. Thanks for having us!

My girlfriend, her friend, and I did the timeout escape room and it was fun and intuitive. The challenges were there and weren't so difficult to be impossible. We were allegedly one of the faster times to complete the room so that's cool. There was one thing we got stuck on but that's because I jumped the gun triggered a false thing on one of the problems ??.

Kids (11 and 12) had so much fun! The beginner room was challenging but not too much. Will definitely go again!

Amelia and Nick are truly amazing with the escape rooms they design and construct. We come here with the kids whenever a new escape room design opens or a new VR game is released. Lots of family fun.

We did the Escape from Timeout with 2 adults and 3 kids. Everyone agreed this was one of the most fun escape rooms we have done. They incorporate some things that we haven't seen in other escape rooms that make it unique! We will definitely come back!

Our group, consisting of people ages 8 - 73, had an absolute blast at this escape room! The puzzles were creative and just the right amount of challenging for the kids in our crowd to solve many of them. We'll be back for sure!

We had a birthday party with 4 9 year olds and did ?The Engine Room?. I wasn't sure what to expect but everyone had a great time. The kids were able to work through the majority of the puzzles with some helpful hints. I would definitely recommend 1-2 adults though with a group this age. The puzzles were clever with varied levels of difficulty and each solution was satisfying and rewarding. I would highly recommend this as an experience gift for puzzle lovers.

Great experience! The room was well done so we felt immersed in the story. The staff was very helpful and kind. We felt challenged so it was very exciting and satisfying to accomplish the mission. 3 of 5 of us had never done an escape room before. We all loved it and will definitely be back!

Beyond Escape NH was absolutely the best! We went there with a couple of friends to spend the evening. We played VR games Ninja Trials, Dead Ahead, and Arrowsong. All three were fun and SUPER immersive. You'll be surprised at how easily you get absorbed into the VR reality. Overall, it was a really cool experience. Beyond escape was beyond amazing! My girlfriend and I came here and successfully completed ?The Shift?. The puzzles were well thought out and the effort that went into the room was palpable. The staff were also very friendly and gave hints as needed, giving us just enough to connect the dots but didn't plainly spell it out for us, either. Would definitely come back!

Beyond Escape is a great place to enjoy an adventure! We celebrated our 10 year old daughter?s birthday and it was well worth it. She, along with her friends, had a great time and can't wait to go back. The owner, Nic, was very kind and helpful. He was extremely accommodating and made the entire planning process seamless. They also collaborate with local companies to coordinate food and cake for additional convenience. Highly recommend!

My colleagues and I went here for a team building activity. We had a great time! The activity was challenging, clever, and kept all of our attention. There were so many different kinds of challenges that we all were puzzled at times and were able to be successful each individually and as a team. If you worry about claustrophobia, don't! The rooms were spacious and there was an ?emergency? exit. Very fun way to spend an hour. I would definitely go again.

We have done many escape rooms, across several states, and Beyond Escape NH escape rooms have been the most innovative and fun. We love all the different elements and the beginner level has so many features that kids can work on solving. Highly recommend!

Went for a date night and we were pleasantly surprised, it was so much fun. I've done all the escape rooms in Portsmouth and wanted to try a new place I'm so glad we did. Great work on the rooms very creative and well thought out! Much harder then I thought they would be too!

This place is fantastic and one of the best birthday gifts. At $30 per theme, I had a blast. The first VR ESCAPE ROOM was so good we signed up for another and did 2 in one day!!! We had a blast doing the virtual 'Depths of Osiris'. My son and daughter-in-law are escape room lovers and loved the VR experience. It was challenging and made us work as a team which brought about its own humor. Nic and Amelia were phenomenal, explaining how to use the headsets and parameters of the VR experience. I would highly recommend Beyond Escape!

We had a great time doing the virtual reality escape room this past holiday! Virtual reality was new to all four of us but very easy for us to pick up on quickly. We finished with over 15 minutes left and they let us try out a VR battle game for free which was also really fun! We plan to go back soon.

Great puzzles and customer service. We didn't get to finish all the puzzles but some of the surprises alone are worth the price of admission!

We had a great time. It was our first time in a virtual reality game. The instructor was knowledgeable and very helpful. The pirate game was a blast. We are definitely going back. Highly, highly recommend Beyond Escape.

Blown away after a beta test of the new VR room. I forgot I was in a room. All of my senses were on overdrive. Working with friends to escape was the best. Be prepared to have your mind blown.
