Bev and Wally?s is probably the best Arcade on the whole boardwalk, other than the Game Room. The staff is always willing to help. All of the games are kept up and are in good working order and clean! If it's 100? outside, it's always nice and cold inside. Bring the family down to the arcade. The first boardwalk of the Jersey Shore from the North!! You won't regret it!
Super fun arcade! Really nice selection of games, classics through latest. Always clean, always a friendly atmosphere, helpful staff. Never leave without an armful of prizes. Fun prize games that actually pay our prizes. Look forward to visiting again.
This was nice to have something to do. We was able to find a good deal on Groupon to test this place out. There was a few games that was out of order. Basketball, hockey table, race games, some arcade games, etc. No Pac man ?? that was disappointing. It was nice for a 1 time visit. They gave us a nice logo bag(came with our package) and we won the ball as well.
Great claw games great prizes been goin here since I was a kid always a place I stop when I'm in the area or the boardwalk
We always have a blast at Bev & Wally's arcade. They always have the latest games and the staff are really friendly.
Family favorite in summer and the off season. Tons of fun games for kids, lots of redemption prizes, and my family always leaves happy! Location is great, easy access to rides or parking. Also the BEST air conditioning on a hot day, it's a great place to cool off and have fun!
Great place to have a birthday party .Children have fun ,party host went above and beyond
DO NOT Buy the groupon if you plan to use it that day! When here for my boyfriend's birthday To the beach and bought three of their group ons, paid for parking then to be told i need to wait 24 hours! Sounds ??
The staff is rude . You WORK in a place with children, they play games they spend there money there. When a child 3 yrs old is crying because they don't have enough tickets and ME the mother asks to buy it and you say no it's disgusting. Watching a child cry tou habe no heart . I was not asking for it for frww but for me to purchase it. Unprofessional. Also the staff watched my daughter finish her game and then proceed to tell me the rules to the game .I know them , she fan stand there all she would lik
My grandkids had a great time the only thing I wish was different is that the kids didn't have to have thousands of points to get a decent price.
This place rules, and we had a blast for my kids party!!! Highly recommend, worth it entirely! If you are looking for a unique party experience this is your stop. It was windy, rainy, cold, VERY windy in fact the doors on my car blew open! As soon as we got inside it was a warm and magical realm of games, prizes, and entertainment for all ages. I'm not trying to be poetic but it was a really great experience and a really great party! Adults and children all had a blast, and that is what makes a kids party g
Best arcades ever. The most honest playing machines. Cool prizes and super helpful stuff. We spend great afternoon playing with kids. Highly recommend .
While Bev & Wally's Arcade is not necessarily the largest arcade you will find along the shore, or Central New Jersey for that matter, it is really a great, family friendly venue that offers a good amount of entertainment for adults and children alike. The arcade is right off the main thoroughfare that runs right along the shore which may make parking a bit tricky during beach season, however during off season (when we went), you can arguably park right in front of the arcade without much issue. The arcad
I used the bigger of the two groupon offers and went during the happy hour, and we had a great time. I felt it was definitely worth the money. At one point I dropped our card and it fell in between the equipment, the manager came over and got it out for us, very nice woman. It has a positive vibe.
Lots of redemption games. A big selection of prizes. The staff was friendly. They always run specials online or through Groupon. The only reason I'm not scoring higher is because they hadn't updated their business hours and I drove 40 minutes with children to play, only to find out the place was closed. The hours of service are different depending on the the season. Also the weather and crowd turnout dictate how long they stay open. For this reason I would recommend going here only if you are already going
It is a pretty god tier arcade. Good games and decent prizes to be found here.
Kids had a great time. Staff is friendly. The young lady at the counter was very helpful with redeeming points for gifts. Will go back here when we're by the area.
Great family atmosphere! My kids love the games and prizes. Arcade is clean and staff is friendly they waited on my 2 children like they had nothing else to do being so patient with them. We will definitely be back over the fall and winter months!
If you're local, this is a great place to bring the kids when the weather is lousy. There are no true video games, but plenty of interactive ride-on (video) games, skeeball, air hockey, coin games, and other games one might find on the boardwalk that should keep everyone occupied for an hour or two. The facilities are very clean and the staff was sporadically spray cleaning machines during the two hours we were there. They offer a range of different game credit options as well as a happy hour with half-pri
Bev and Wally's and The Game Room are both fantastic places to spend some time and have some fun. The game are awesome, the prizes are great. The staff is beyond amazing. They are very help and will fix any problem that might arise.
With Groupon for $10.00 and 1000 points on their card they get to play a few games. $10 go really fast for the fun games. But then they have the games that are in blue that they can play Unlimited. Also when the other arcade is open next door they can go in and play there, only the ones that are marked blue also.
Purchased 3 Groupons for 3 children in March came in today 6.25.21 to redeem. The person in charge would only take one Groupon. The children were disappointed they had been waiting fir two months. So now I'm stuck with 2 Groupon for this arcade that I can't do anything with. Disappointing. Groupon really needs to be up front and specific about their vendors policy and procedures. I also think the person in charge could ha e allowed it to pass. Just for the children.
First time playing at this arcade with my family we had a blast. Very nice staff ,i did tell them it was my first time and they where so nice to explain and saw me how everything works and that there are 2 game rooms to play. I loved that it was nice and clean as well. I will definitely vist throughout the year.
Bought a bunch of credits to find out they were preparing to close a couple hours early because of a storm I had no idea about. I asked for a refund and I was told they weren't allowed to give any. I guess I have no choice but to come back lol?
This arcade has stood the test of time. We lost it for awhile in the 80s after a fire (when it was known as Sportsland), but they wasted no time reopening later that year. This arcade existed my entire life, always keeping everything up to date. Here's to many more decades!
This if the only videogame parlor/arcade in the area besides iPlay America if you're planning to visit one. Here are some things you should know beforehand: ? of the games here are around slot machine types and lucky arm or picking arm types to get tickets. However, you can pay $10/hour to play as much of the blue light games. That's much cheaper than swiping the token card. It includes a lot of them: air hockey, motor bikes, basket ball, soccer, l but not skeeball. The neighborhood is also a bit dicey.
Place is cool for kids, just be aware that they no longer have any adult/older video games like they used to, unless you're into time crisis ( but nothing updated ). Our 3 year old thoroughly enjoyed it however.
Save you money. A once beloved arcade where you can spend a few dollars and win some cheap nice stuffed animals. Now you have to buy tickets to use the machines. They won't refund unused tickets. Don't go there expecting to win any thing good. The stuffies are small cheap style junk. You will lose 99% of the time. Not like it used to be. Owners make it a place not to go in Keansburg amusement park. It turned into a money grubbing dump. So sad to see it turn into a money hook that makes you sad when you le
My favorite arcade overall! So many games! The staff was helpful and super friendly! I believe this arcade is open all year round. Don't forget to wear your mask and have fun.
Once a great arcade a few dollars you can win a couple stuffed animals worth a few Penney's, not anymore they sell tickets to use in their machines instead of quarters they don't refund you if you don't want the unused tickets it's almost impossible to win anything anymore, machines only have cheap junk now there killing Bev and Wally's arcade. 5 years or more ago this was the arcade to go to when visiting Keansburg Amusement Park now it's the arcade to stay away from not only do they fill their machines wi
Fun, affordable, tidy and clean
This is an old world arcade with cool games and air hockey. We had an amazing time!
Bev & Wally's host our sons 3rd birthday party and it was great. All the guests raved about what a fun time they all had.
Great place to relax and enjoy the games they have . I'm always enjoying the times when me and my girlfriend goes there especially the workers who work there are great people.
This is one of those arcades where you play games like skee ball, win tickets and redeem prizes. They are largely disappearing but Bev and Wally's holds on. This is no hipster remake of a classic. Bev and Wally's is the real deal. It also has prizes that you can actually win after playing games for an hour unlike other arcades. They have a Groupon that is a good deal.
Unethical and sneaky business. Spent years saving arcade points and went to redeem them today. They told me that they are no longer valid because they were the old format and not the points that were printed digitally. It is the exact same arcade that we have been going to for years and the points don't indicate anywhere that they expire. I spent hundreds of dollars accumulating points that the arcade decided that they no longer want to honor. Illegal and shady. Filing cases with the state and local DCA
The staff is usually helpful to refill or fix a machine. Not the greatest selection of redemption prizes to select from & some prizes the tickets needed to redeem are way too high in my opinion.
Had a blast playing skeeball & basketball. Arcade was very clean. I wish they had more arcade games though
awesome arcade, very clean and well run. always an attendant to help you with a machine that's not cooperating. almost all of their machines are operational and they have great coupon deals.
Absolutely love Bev and Wally?s very nice clean up to date games. Very friendly staff always helpful! we go every few weeks can't wait to go back
Not many games here to begin with, and a few of them weren't even functional. The card system should be a good idea, but the cards never swiped properly leading to too many crdits when we didn't want them.
Bev & Wally's and The Game Room are sister arcade experiences on the blacktop boardwalk on the Sandy Hook Bayshore in Keansburg, NJ. The Game Room is a year round experience. Bev and Wally's gets busy when the boardwalk opens full time. They have numerous off season token deals, usually involving a party with prizes. My nine year-old daughter and I will be at the Game Room for the St. Patrick's Day event.
Always have a great time when we go there. Very clean and organized. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Great place to go on a yucky day.
I grew up in this place its like a second home yea it could use better rides but my personal favorite is the gocarts even tho its highly priced its well worth it and staff is very friendly
One of the best arcades I've been to. Took my niece and nephews, and I think I had more fun than them.
Very nice arcade it's clean and there is always someone walking around making sure your safe and everything is working
Great fun place for the family. If you're hungry, Kazia Rae's has great burgers and menu.
Very nice place, not too big. Very clean & well kept. Staff were very pleasant & helpful.
Great place! Very clean with friendly staff! Good prizes too!
Clean family friendly indoor arcade. Not super big but a nice assortment of arcade games for different ages
This is a very nice arcade that is fun for the whole family. Highly recommended!
Really fun place to go when you're bored. Great games, friendly staff.
I love this place, I want to met kylie in real life, but I can't, cause I'm still in TX
They dont have any good games and their machines took my money and they wouldnt do anything to help
It was a nice arcade, good selection of games and easy to get to.
Great place to bring the family on a rainy day! Open Saturday and Sunday all winter.
Love it. Great place to take the kids. Great Bday parties too!!!
Small place and few video games. Mostly cranes and skill games for prizes but i like it.
This place is so great for kids and adults alike!always a. Good time!!!

Good selection of games and prizes. They keep updating the games.
I tried with Groupon deal . Nice place for couple of hours .
Had an awesome day playing skeeball willy wonka and all the great games
Had a fun time cant wait to go back next weekend :)
Associate wouldn't let me use my Groupon.
Cute little arcade. I like there new token ticket deal!
Showed wrong time on google. One time it stated 5-11pm. Then at 9:00pm it showed close. Got there so disappointed.
If you love Skeeball and arcade games this is the place to go!
A little rainy day fun and he just hit the jackpot too!!!
2 hours free play was the best there.
Great place to spend time and play games with your kids
Ehhhhhh not the greatest....there r better spots around

Great place to kill a few hours
Fun place to bring the kids
Great place to take the family
I did not win on the crane game
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
