Really cool location, nice and clean and everithing works grat but sadly understaffed. We had to wait verry long to get a lane and if we wanted to change something we had to wait, and this cost us a lot of time.

Moderate experience. Worker was not at arcade stand, check-in stubborn and I asked them to change my name multiple times but didn't even after 2 games of bowling. Good deals though. And food.

Nice place for having at least 30 min of fun with bowling. Bowling cost around $6 which gives 20 balls comes for 10 rounds. Per lane, total 6 people can be added. Each person who is bowling should wear bowling shoes which need to be taken there for rent. They are not allowing to use our own shoes for bowling. Shoes cost $6.35 including tax. I was blown away by the sheer size of this place. At first, we noticed that there were many out of state vehicles and that a bowling tournament was happening on the left side of this business. However, after asking at the front desk, we were delighted to hear that the right side was still "open" bowl. Not only that, but the lane they chose for us was isolated from the crowd. So, we weren't too distracted by the noise of the tournament. We played two very pleasant games.

Friendly staff, clean establishment, the food and beverages are pretty pricey..10 bucks for a hotdog? Otherwise great place. Definitely going back just gotta establishment before going.

Horrible experience. Claw machines broke on me twice plus the cord got stuck in the claw making it impossible to even try to get something and every time it did, the claw machine shook on the way up YEETING the dang prizes to the side. I ordered Just a milkshake and it took 45 minutes for them to make it and there's barely any people. The workers were rude and didn't smile at all so yeah. If there were zero stars, id do that and I'm not big on giving bad reviews.

We went here as a group and had the most enjoyable experience. We were given two bowling lanes for unlimited time at a reasonable price. Kudos to Berks Lanes for making our day special!

We went to there for their New Years Eve celebration for the kids and it was perfect! The kids had a blast, the arcade was fantastic and the food arrangements were perfect! The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. This was our first time here but we will definitely be going back.

They really made the place look great. Only two major comments: the lane numbers are very hard to see, like totally hard to see. No biggie, just a comment. Also the red lights are very oddly hot, almost like a warming light for fries. Maybe a pink or Green would be more comfortable

Edit: We came for midnight ?glow? bowling. If you used to come to berks lanes for the glow in the dark and lights flashing. DONT waste your money. It's NOTHING like it used to be. The lights are not glow in the dark. They have a politics congress on next to the music videos.. lol It's nothing like it used to be. This new company has destroyed berks lanes. A big bar does not make up for what it used to be. The experience was not what it used to be AT ALL. First of all. I called to make sure they were open.

This used to be a great bowling alley. Since ownership changed, all aspects of the facility have deteriorated. Prices have increased significantly. The lanes break down constantly.

Let's just say the corporate DO NOT CARE IF U COMPLAIN !!!!! if you have a problem just go to the next place and move on. Berks Lanes hosted a team building event for my coworkers and I in the middle of the week. Jess was very friendly and supportive. She made sure my team had everything we needed for a great day out. Definitely coming back!

Great bowling alley and tons of arcade games. 1st time playing the Angry Birds coin game. 1st time here for a bowling tournament.

It was really fun to bowl...until we got hungry. The food here is WEAK. I'm talking about weekend youth soccer tournament concession stand bad. The burger looked so sad, the pretzel was the smallest possible thing, and the hot dogs took 25 minutes to be ready. Also, bathrooms were relatively clean for a Saturday night.

This place is lots of fun. If the bowling isn't your thing then you can try out the arcade, the pool table, or the bar. Either way it's a great place to spend with family and friends. They do serve food here and have bathrooms.

It's been a while since I've been bowling and was intrigued to see the big screens. At every lane and was impressed with how the food system worked. I really liked being able to put a card on file and then check out at the end. Super clean and great environment.

Went on a date here for a one year celebration and it was fantastic! Got the 2 hour Saturday special for bowling and we played the games away! We got better as we played and learned the different sizes of the bowling balls. There is food and refreshments available as well and the atmosphere gives off a great feeling. Definitely recommend going here for a fun time! They also have pool tables and arcade machines.

Brought my kids here for my nephew's birthday party. Party setup was nice. Kids played in the arcade afterward. Some of the games didn't work. Prices seemed a little high but I may just be out of touch. We were the only ones in the arcade at 4:30 p.m. on a Saturday. Found that odd.

Nice lanes, but the pricing is ridiculously expensive for everything. Shoe rental is $4.99, games are $5.49. The food menu is limited and expensive. No single snack items like soft pretzels. They are going through a remodel and it looks nice, but at those prices I will not be returning with my family of 5. I had thought about joining a league, but with those drink prices I would not buy anything so no point coming here.

This place is awesome. Lanes were pretty occupied even on Monday evening but there are so many lanes. Fun with good vibes. The food was so good. The servers were very attentive and nice. Showed up around 11, they said they closed at midnight which was unfortunate because it used to be 2am. All you could bowl for 4 people for an hour was 110! For one hour! Could not get discount even though it was for an hour and we could maybe play 2 games max. The whole time we tried to bowl the lane kept going down, played a game and a half and they started cleaning up and we had to stop. Biggest waste of money, miss what this place used to be.

Bowling with my family and they can't provide a table for our lane. They have plenty of empty ones sitting around but since our family is part of a larger group (despite us being the only ones on our lane), we can't use one (even offered to move one there and back). Berks Lanes is my favorite out of all the bowling alleys we go to. The employees are wonderful and the food is great. Lanes are maintained really well and there is always a fun event going on.

Ever since this place got bought out by a big corporate it's been downhill. Their prices jumped up dramatically. We made a reservation online and got charged $180 for 2.5 hours of bowling. My only complaint would be that as someone who uses the arrows on the lane to gauge where to roll the ball, all of the bright lights, from the tvs, along with the shine on the lanes, caused such a glare, it was impossible to see the arrows on the lane.

Great scam they have going. First, they have an event coordinator handling parties. Then it used to be you paid for the number of people who bowled. Now you pay for everyone who attends, even if they don't bowl. Same amount of food, but now you're charged per person. No extra food or anything. Would have been nice to have been told this upfront. We had our daughters 11th birthday party there tonight. Never going back there again, and when did bowling become so expensive? ?I heard the guy say something about $9.95.? I thought he was talking about, ?per game? not per game/ per person. Bowling is very expensive these days, no discount for any age group, even 1 year of age. With that in mind, even during renovations, Berks lanes was clean, fast, and friendly, and we had zero lane issues while bowling.

ONE guy was running the Whole place! Took forever for him to do bumper guards & all he had to do was at a Computer. He was also doing the food. Unbelievable. I docked a star due to mold issues on the ceiling above our lane, but other than that, we had a great experience here for New Years Eve. The bowling was fun, the fun extras like glow sticks and hats were a fun surprise, and the food was honestly quite good. The staff deserves a special shout out because each and every person was amazing. Friendly and unbelievably efficient is how I would describe the service last night. Whoever runs this establishment should run a master class on event planning!

Absolutely terrible new ownership! Such a disgrace. I've been going here for years, and the new owners are destroying something that was once a very popular hangout. The bar has since been modified and NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE will even drink or sit in any longer. Numerous bartenders and staff have left as well as management as soon as it was taken over. If I could give negative stars I would. The priced were ridiculous. We bowled 3 games and had food and drinks. The bill came for the food and was $120. We got to the counter to pay for the lane and the bill it was $260. Are yall crazy? We will not be bowling again in Berks County since I was told the owner bought all of the alleys. Good fun for my wife and I when nothing else is going on in town. I think it's great that you got back about my review. We go to the bar when you have a DJ. Before the transition to ?Bowlero?, the prices were very fair. Made for a great family experience. Loved taking my children bowling and would grab food from the snack bar. I was at the restaurant and did not bowl. Why 2 stars? They allow smoking at the bar. This may be a personal 2 where others may not mind. The food was good. We sat in a room beyond the bar where other families also ate. That was no smoking. The persons who work there were all kind, professional and extremely considerate. The service was superb.

I only visit Berk's Lanes to participate in bowling tournaments. Since the transition from local ownership to Bowlero corporate ownership a barrier between the competitive (league / tournament) bowler has been created. The reason for this is that the personal relationship between management and the bowler is "mechanized"... Bowlero is a large corporation who has systemitized the pricing and management of the business is the pursuit of shareholder returns... Ultimately the casual bowler is more profitable

A great place for bowling. Berks Lanes offers many youth mentoring and championship programs. Unfortunately, the coaches are hard to get rid of and they will try and talk to you OUTSIDE of bowling. As of now, they are mostly full on Saturdays, Sundays, and incredibly full on Mondays. Decent food, unless you order from the bar. A great place for a birthday party, and a good place to start. Bowling was very fun. They have "glow" lanes, which are really cool. Half of their arcade games were out of order when we were there. The food and drink are on the pricey side, but the quality is decent.

Berks Lanes used to be the best place to bowl but now that Bowlero has inflated all of the prices, it is no longer affordable for a family. $83 on a Sunday afternoon for 4 bowlers and 3 shoe rentals is a bit ridiculous.

Love, love, love this bowling alley/pool hall/sports bar/arcade. Leagues for all skill levels, pool tables are well kept. Staff at location are very very friendly and super helpful. Great place to have some fun. Prices were good, and it looked pretty decent. Midnight bowl here is awesome, and you can even rent a lane for 2 hours for $42.95 with up to 6 bowlers. Large place, lots of lanes. Wasn't crowded at all. Had good food at a fair-ish price. Good arcade. My only complaint is the chairs at the tables at the lanes were a little weird, but that's nitpicking. Highly recommend.

Planned to make a stop here for a bachelor party, but they wanted over $320 for 6 people on 2 lanes for 2 hours. Took our buisness elsewhere for a 5th of the cost. A major shame for the local bowling community to have Bowlero take over.

Nice lanes and good service

We were in town for a conference, and found Berks Lanes for something to do after training all day. They were very friendly and accommodating! The lanes were clean and well maintained. The pool room was also well maintained. We happened to be there on a Wednesday, where they have quarter games and shoe rentals special after 9pm, when the leagues finish.

Love this place. It was where my husband took me on our first date and now my workers meet up there to bowl and throw back a few whenever we get the chance.

Super packed on a Tuesday night. Awesome service, good food - this is what customer service is supposed to feel like. Good food, lots of patrons, awesome service, too! Thank you for an unexpected good time for this party of four!
