Customer Reviews

The arcade was fun and, while we weren't good at it, we bowled as well. It was a lot of fun and the service was really friendly. Surprised more people don't come here! (Didn't eat any food though, but it looked good.)

Leaving a 5 star review because, MAN, the pizza is AMAZING for a smaller bowling alley! We were in town for Memorial Day weekend and we were talking about how we will miss the pizza when we have to go back home!

Awesome family owned business! I was there this weekend for a large company party. The staff was very friendly & the whole place was very clean. The games are a blast and all new. Their Pizza is fantastic!! Their bar is attached to the bowling alley making it an awesome place to have a large function. Can't wait to visit again soon.

The menu is half of what it is online. My sister ordered a pizza half with extra pineapple there really wasn't extra and then they tried to charge her 10$ for extra pineapple on one half! 2.50$ 4x. The lady working also tried to charge my bill for a drink I never had.

My family and I live in mancelona and we go here as much as possible. My parents and older sister have tournaments here and it's great! I love spending time with my family here and having a blast!

Took 3 boys on a Monday afternoon shortly after opening. The kids had fun at the arcade. Food specials for 3-6pm were perfect for the kids and the place wasn't crowded. Overall a fun experience for the boys.

Place is nice but no order couldn't even sit down in-between bowling turns. People wouldn't leave the tables in front of the lanes for the next bowlers . Bar tender was great but how much can u ask one man to do! If this is the off season, I hate to see how the busy season goes . Definitely not worth the 200 dollars I spent for one hour of standing around . Next time we will drive to lucky jacks !

What a great time at Bellaire Lanes, I haven't bowled for like 35 years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Remodeled interior with full bar, lots of seating for sandwiches, meals, happy hour. Bowling area is spacious, bowling shoes and balls, smart bowling screens and lockers available. Pay by game or hour. However, all of the amenities didn't help my bowling score. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Fun time?s. Great location! Easy parking lot to navigate. Super friendly staff. Clean large restrooms. Food is great, pizza was awesome! Pretzel bites were a hit too! Lanes are in great shape.

Two of my friends and I went over, they were not open at the specified time. When they did open employee was not attentive did not greet us.Then when he did acknowledge us and was short with us. When we got through our arcade cards and ready to check them he was no where to be found.

Probably the best small-town alley I've been to. It's nice inside, clean, and everything works. The staff is friendly, helpful, and kept/followed COVID precautions.

Nice place. Friendly. Saw a local band there, 3Hearted. Really good and fun. Recommended

This was the WORST experience to date. Everything was awful. And each time we have gone in here, it's gotten consistently worse. The service, the food (Took an HOUR for appetizers, and we were sick afterwards), the atmosphere was horrible, and very few arcade games work. We are local, and don't get out that much. Our kids were looking forward to it, and with them being so young, they didn't notice, thankfully. But we did, and not to mention how rude the owner was to us. We've spent a lot of money here, an

Don't you just love when you go bowling for the first time in a long time and the guy behind the counter has an attitude? ...I don't... 'nuff said. The waitresses were very nice though hence the high rating. Edit - After thinking about it, I think part of his problem was that we were a group of six and two were kids, but my buddy and his wife and kids weren't there yet, so I didn't know if we were doing one or two lanes. They charge HOURLY vs By the Game, so I'm glad I told him we were going to only do

Great place for the kids when all the machines are actually in working order, the staff was great at making us happy and the kids night a success!

Absolutely the best wings I have ever eaten in my life!!!!? These things are definitely worth a drive to get them. Plus the owner Mike was our bartender, wonderful guy and has an amazing establishment. The kids played video games while the adults enjoyed a relaxing meal! ??

Always a great time at Bellaire Lanes and Games. Great family atmosphere!

Everyone seemed cranky. We ran into the owner Mike, he was the crankiest. The food was ok, it took quite a long time to get it though. We did have fun bowling though.

Had a super fun time with the fam here :) Great atmosphere

Food is awesome everytime we go (defiantly pretzel bites our favorite around). Idk if the arcade has been there or not but looks like they are putting a lot back into the business witch always nice to see. Staff is super nice and how you would hope they would be when going out to eat.

Had an absolute blast. Great deal for my daughters birthday party. Awes9me customer service as well. Will definitely be back

Poor customer service, took forever for server to bring us our food. The fried food was not fried it was soggy and baked in an oven. The food come out wrong. Was charged for items we didn't receive. Then we informed her of the mistakes on bill, and she ignored us. Dirty tables say dirty for at least an hour while we were there. Not impressed, would not recommend this place to any one

My son and I went to open bowl. Very nice and helpful staff. Lanes and food were great. Even has a pro shop with good advice and selection. Will be back!

Terrible service. When we arrived there were only 2 tables available, 3 occupied, and the rest were dirty. No one came the entire time we were there, yet all the tables stayed dirty. It isn't posted on the menu that fries with your sandwich is an upcharge, and our server asked us if fries were okay with our meals. Our server came to our table 4 times- take our order, bring our drinks, drop food, and drop our bill. I had to take my card up to the bar because she never came back.

The staff were EXTREMELY nice, we got pretzel bites and they were very good. The bowling alley had around 10 lanes and was fully functional. There are arcade games, and an old jukebox. Great atmoshpere and service.

Our family always has a blast here. Bellaire has needed someplace for families with young kids to have fun for quite a while, and this place truly fills a need in our town. Our kids LOVE the arcade and redemption center, my wife and I love to bowl, and laser tag is super fun. Lastly, I have honestly never had better food or drinks at a bowling alley. It is our favorite pizza place in town!

Terrible service. We were one of 2 people in the entire bar and the bartender took 10 min to come over...without even a greeting. We had half the menu..the side without the apps..which must have annoyed her cause she slapped the other side down. Whatever..we all have bad days..but it remained the same. We got pop and a drink..no refills and she never came back despite seeing us with empty glasses. Then the bowling alley emptied out..which we sat there for another 25 min with empty lanes...no one came t

My husband and I were planning our ?Up North? wedding and needed a location for our rehearsal dinner. Bellaire Lanes and Games was perfect!!! The food and drinks were easy to coordinate over the phone and ready when we arrived. Bowling offered a fun activity for our families (who had never met before) so they had something to do but also had time to chat. Our 4 nephews utilized the arcade and had a great time too! The owners were so attentive to us and made sure we had shoes, food, beers, basically everythi

Way understaffed! Took over an hour to get a simple food order, drink orders were practically non- existence and way worse they charge you by time not per game and their equipment continuesly keeps failing and it takes forever to get going again so you pay for all that down time. Don't go here!! Terrible!! We recommend going to Gaylord, Traverse City or Petoskey. Maybe more or a drive but all excellent.

Nice lanes and good food. Service has always been incredibly slow. Typically two people working the entire place. It's a roll of the dice on if you'll even get a drink or food before your entire game is finished.

This is the worst bowling experience I have ever had. Don't get me wrong, the place is nice and clean but the pricing is so not worth it. On the weekends they only do pay by the hour and with 4 young kids it is not practical. They start the time as soon as you pay so by the time you have 4 kids in shoes you have already lost 13 or 14 minutes. I asked if they could restart the time from when we started bowling and they told me I can only buy more time. Then we wanted to order food, time still counting down,

Great facilities and family atmosphere! Pizza is good too!

Very disappointed with the food . Last time we went and the pizza was delicious . This time we wanted to try other menu items and that was a mistake. Patty melt was very dry/stale and had maybe a bite or 2 of meat in it with no flavor and the nachos were burnt and had barely any toppings on it. Basically like ordering a plate of burnt chips. Calzone was ok but very small not a lot in it. Thankfully they did take some items of the total bill and waitress did say the meat patties are frozen and not fresh. I a

We love it here! There is something for everyone to do from bowling to the arcade to laser tag. The arcade card system is awesome because I can put money on my kiddo's card and she can play and collect digital tickets. We love the Kids Bowl Free Program in the summer!

Great place for families. Great pizza. Friendly employees. Only a few lanes but in good shape and modern machines! Hour only bowling blows, especially at the cost paid. Great addition to Bellaire!

Absolutely the most horrible experience ever! Only 2 people working the whole place! It was very busy, they time u for your bowling, but it takes 45 mins for a drink. 1.5 hours for food! I had to pay 60 dollars for 5 games of boiling, had to go get my own food and drinks

The bowling alley was clean pizza was decent....they say it closes at midnight after one game the lights were turned off and we were rushed out at 8 pm on a Saturday . Very disappointed Yes. I understand about glow bowl. After our one game , The regular lights were turned on.... All the lane lights and TV's were turned off.

Fun times for all ages, very clean and well kept. I love that if you pay for an hour to bowl that's what you get! A lot of places you pay for a game or more.

At nearly 20 dollars a game, I think it's over priced. 3 kids bowling got through a game and a half without dawdling. They charge by the hour (Plus shoe rental). The pizza was good and our waitress was nothing shy of wonderful.

The staff was rude and acted as we were inconveniencing them. A lot of the machines were not working. We were not impressed and will not be going back.

An awesome selection of beer on tap. Had a great time bowling here with some friends. Didn't get to try the food but they had lots of options and all looked decently priced. Will have to come back again soon.

Good place. Nice atmosphere

Great place to shoot pool.

Nice place to take the kids

What a great place to eat, have a beverage and get some game time in. With multiple options of activities this is a fun family place or hang out in what can be a sometimes uneventful area. Bellaire is beautiful but you've got to find your personal entertainment. This place has alot to offer.

Awesome place. The woman let us bowl even though my family and I came at closing. Fun and lots of good food. Totally awesome.

Nice staff. Fun arcade. Good variety of bowling balls in a range of weights. Love love love the laser tag. There is so much to enjoy under one roof.

Great to see this establishment open again. It appeared to be a family run business. Let's start with the GOOD: 8 lanes of bowling; newly refinished floors, walls, restrooms; laser tag room and equipment; arcade with prizes; food available, pizza looked good. BAD: timed bowling (a HORRIBLE mandatory setup). Three of us were unable to finish 2 games within the hour and I couldn't make my last two throws in the 10th frame. The ball return equipment was bad and required constant staff help to keep our game goi

Really great hometown bar / bowling alley nobody was really there bartender really great had a blast would recommend anybody who is a little downtime when you're in Bel Air to go play some bowling

Clean, great pizza, great staff. A few of the games in the arcade where not working but plenty that where. Very family friendly.

Love the staff! Great place to take the family! Melissa is wonderful, she even took pictures of my son and I. A+

Menu was useless ??, nothing was available ??, save fried food. But still was a fun afternoon

I love it here. We went here cuz everyone in our area had leagues. The owners and staff were friendly and the food is good.

Celebrated 8 year old granddaughters birthday and a great time.

Really fun! My daughter had a blast bowling, playing in the arcade, and playing laser tag. A great way to spend a rainy vacation day.

Awesome experience! Family friendly, great pizza and beer! Highly recommend.

The food was not great but they were severely short staffed and the girl was awesome and we had a good time

The pizza we ordered was awful. I strongly recommend against ordering any of the pizzas they make. The service was amazing.

Nice atmosphere and clean building with very nice and helpful staff topping it all off w/ always a great time when you're there

Great place for a beer. Pizza tasted like greasy cardboard. Never again.

Great time! Friendly service and very attentive! They are a bit understaffed but still have great service!

Great pizza and bowling with a bar!! Could t ask for anything more!

These days I just assumed that bowling alleys would be run down and old. This is a really nice facility and very nice people running it. Everybody should take their family bowling!

Great service. Really friendly staff food is amazing. Everything runs smooth.

Great service, pizza, bowling lanes to create memorable times. We always have fun there.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
