Veronica Gave me and my sister a grand tour it's so clean and well kept inside. Veronica was friendly and accommodating and showed us a wide selection of candy that brought back my childhood. Upon walking inside you're hit with color everywhere and candy,candy,candy literally floor to ceiling candy . Reasonably priced amazing selection a wonderful stop for families we were floored.

I was there for taffy! They have a great variety for all the usuals like watermelon, banana, and vanilla and also unusual flavors like maple bacon and dill pickle! The taffy was soft and fresh. The flavors I purchased were good. I bought dill pickle for a friend who isn't a fan of taffy but loves pickles.she told me she would eat that taffy anytime. There were various other items ( fudge, souvenirs, and such but I was there for taffy. My service was friendly and quick. We even had time for a quick chat.

Love, love, love this shop. It brings back so many memories of literally being a kid in a candy store. The ice cream is fantastic. My favorites are praline pecan and cappuccino crunch! Morning or night, Susan was there and took great care of us. Highly recommend ??

Candy is great. Very sweet young girls working there, we asked if we could try a couple things before we bought , she said yes. A couple minutes later an older woman came up to us. She says ?You know you have to buy the candy before you eat it.? We replied ?yes maam we asked if we could try a couple things and one of the girls said it was fine.? What an amazing experience! This place is a true hidden gem, with an exceptional staff that is super friendly. Do not hesitate to bring the whole family for all your sweet desires, rather it's candy, or ice cream. Also don't forget the arcade in the back for hours of fun.

Big shoutout to Linda, she made everything right when my girlfriend drug me back in cause she really loves the candy. I got my fudge for my grandma and I know she'll love it. If ya?ll need any help at this store please ask for Linda she will be glad to help!

This place is awesome, candy and games. My son dropped his arcade card into a machine and the kind lady opened up the machine and got it out. Not to mention, you tap the machines to play instead of swiping. My other son left his wallet overnight, the lady then took it and found who he was. She then called his high school 400 miles away and told them he left his wallet. His school called us to let us know. He got his wallet back this morning. Will be coming back.

Amazing! Incredible ice cream and very reasonable prices for the ice cream. Tons of candy to look through and fun arcade. Really really enjoyed coming here after dinner. The ice cream counter is so neat, has all sorts of candy in resin on it. Really cool place to stop!

Family friendly I would disagree! When people have attitudes when you are spending money then want to turn around and be a smart ass. You just lost my business!

Have you ever heard the song from Boss Baby, ?Heaven?? i?m in heaven?..?. This is the best way I can describe the store. Its so stinking cute, there is soooo much candy there. Sour candy, spicy candy, candy that I have looked for years (maple nut goodies) because it had been discounted at big stores. The ice cream and shakes were so good. We visited Beachlife Sweets OKI for the first time last year when we had our family beach trip. The kids were mesmerized by the store and candy displays. Even my husband found the shop to be intriguing. They had a small arcade area ser up too which was great for the kids. The staff was very nice and answered any and all questions we had. The candy selection was divine. The cute displays outside were perfect for photo ?? opportunities too. Highly recommend checking this shop out!

Got here 1.5 hours before closing after loading money to card for arcade they said they had to shut it down because they had problems not sure what kind but okay .... it is connected to a candy store so we start shopping the candy store same thing they need to close we need to go ....so first experience not the best will try again another time

Very over priced and the prices are not listed! There is also a quarter machine that my son wanted to play. The person who works there saw that the quarters were ready to fall and that he was interested in playing. She went and played the machine so he wouldn't win. That would have been maybe a $6 win but he would have enjoyed that. We spent $159 on 4 bags of candy! Not worth it!

Neat candy shop. It was fun to walk around. Lady working was friendly, funny, and helpful.

The 3 stars is mostly for the arcade, which I found to be underwhelming. A few of the machines were down which didn't leave a ton of options. It was about 20 credits per $5, with all machines using 4 credits per play. $1 per play isn't terrible, but the lack of variety just made it feel very small and bleh. Been here twice! The ice cream is amazing. The key lime pie actually has the crust in it. You've got to try it. We didn't get a chance to play in the arcade, yet! It's on the list. Cause I know we're going back again.

A candy lovers dream! Everyone was friendly, the candy selection was expansive, and they had tons of frozen treats to choose from as well.

Went last night with the kids. Candy is way overpriced for a pound, $16 lb. Went to use the bathroom, doesn't have a changing table for infants/toddlers but has bags hanging on the wall and a sign saying to take your dirty diapers with you...really? It's a bathroom, diapers go in the trash in a bathroom.

I got a scoop of ice cream here and I was so impressed! I have a gluten intolerance and they looked at all the ingredients and even washed a scoop for me to avoid any cross contamination. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to me!

My dad ended up wandering in here looking for ice cream. Guy at the counter was extremely friendly and welcoming. Huge selection of candy and other things.

Love the ladies that work here ALMOST as much as the ice cream. The raspberry truffle is out of this world.

It took us an hour to get our icecream and checked out . The service was very slow an I and Im not sure if the 2 ladies working knew what they were doing .They were trying their best but maybe lacked training for customer service , and making icecreams. They icecram was very good and the place had lots of candy to choose from . It is a very well setup store .

We visited Beach Life Sweets last weekend. They have so many different kinds of candy and ice cream at affordable prices. However, when I pointed to the size cup of ice cream I wanted the girl behind the counter gave me the display sample cup. I got a serving of dust with my coconut, chocolate almond ice cream. We will definitely come back on future trips. I will just make sure I get a clean cup.

This place is a kid's DREAM! It had candy everywhere and any kind that you could think of!! There's ice cream, fudge, and the best part..... AN ARCADE ROOM!! So awesome!! The counter near the ice cream area had a gummy bear (mixed with other candy) clear resin counter!! The staff were very friendly as well!! Oh, and there's really fun seating outside!????

This place is fantastic! Between the arcade, toys & candy, you could spend hours here. The atmosphere is fun & everything is clean. Chandler was a huge help & excellent employee!! We took our daughter here for her birthday and my husband and I went back on date day! I highly recommend!

This place is awesome and their employees are amazing!! They go the extra mile to help you and they are constantly cleaning the entire store at all times!! I would highly recommend stopping in and checking it out on your vacation! They have lots to choose from! Candy, Ice cream, arcade games, souvenirs, toys, drinks and more!! Beachlife Sweets OKI in my opinion is one of the best businesses in Oak Island. The staff are extremely welcoming and smiles often while helping ypu. This absolutely beautiful shop has so many candy options, which you will not find anywhere else not to mention great ice cream!! This shop is kid friendly for kids of all ages. Be sure to check out this cute little shop and you will be sure to find something that satisfies your sweet tooth!! I promise you won't be disappointed!!

Went into the store last night, Tuesday an hour before closing in for some reason they had some of the machine shut down with no sign on them. My mother-in-law put money in the machine and nothing happened so when we inquired about it, she said oh they're off you should?ve known and did not offer to return the money. Obviously it's not about the money. It's about the lack of service. There's plenty of options and this is just not one of them.

It's candy wonderland! I routinely patronize this store because it carries some of the more obscure candies such as Boston fruit slices, Bit-o-Honey, and chocolate pebbles needed for gingerbread house decorating. I have always had positive interactions with the staff but that is likely attributable to the fact that I actually read the prices that are posted in 1-3" size font everywhere in the store, I bag my candy based on what I want to spend or afford and I don't put the staff in the awkward position o

This place was wonderful! So near and clean. And the entire staff was so pleasant and had great interaction with our kids. The owner was especially wonderful and so appreciative of my husband taking pics of their new business and adding to Google. It was such a joy to interact with them that week and we look forward to seeing them again next year!

We love the sweet shop and gift store! Honestly, this is one of my kids favorite parts of OKI! Lisa at the shop is precious!!

We were waiting in line to ask if they sold the boba tea there (because a lady next door said they do sell it two doors down and pointed in the direction of Beachlife Sweets), when I noticed an employee who wasn't doing anything standing there at another register. She had blonde hair and she was wearing a hoodie, a hat and had a nose ring (for reference of who it was). Make sure you stay within arm length of your children in an arcade / candy store or they get could falsely accused of stealing a piece of candy. When we asked to provide the video footage supporting their claim, they simply stated they didn't have access. The way this was handled was very unprofessional and traumatizing to a 11-year-old little girl who is definitely not a thief.

We bought just 2 pieces of fudge to try, orange cream and chocolate. Could hardly cut the chocolate and the orane was just slightly easier to cut. Seems like it's been on the shelf way too long. Guess that's what happens when you import it from another state! We found out, after we bought it, that they don't make their own. Update... The owner responded immediately to make it right so I changed the rating.

We just had a very unprofessional & upsetting experience at this business on OKI. My husband & I are both business owners locally so I don't take making a post about a business lightly. Huge selection of ice cream and any kind of candy imaginable. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed my sundae in a whimsical environment. There's also an arcade and some really cute seating. Several photo opps for the social media crowd and young at heart.

What a real hidden gem. I went in to order takeout and watched the waitresses killing it. It's been a while since I saw restaurant workers work this hard. The food was amazing as well.

It was a fun place to play in the arcade. The candy selection was massive but high prices. It's what you would expect at a tourist beach shop though. Cow bench is best bench!

It was magical, I haven't seen a floor piano since I was a kid. The employee was so sweet and helpful.

We go to the door at 10:30 and the lady looks at us and shakes her head no. If you close at 10:30 maybe you should change your hours online. Because apparently you do not close at 11.

Linda went above and beyond to make it right after a malfunction with an arcade machine. She was so friendly, kind and patient with our boys. Linda went out of her way to make sure they had a wonderful experience. It was a great way to end our beach trip. We will be back! Thank you!!!
