Bavarian Mountain Miniature Golf

Perfectly located on top of a hill in Helen GA. The arcade and golf course are very well maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They offer 2 courses to play, we chose the advanced with the waterfall. Perfect views of downtown Helen.

Customer service was fantastic, grounds were clean and well kept. You also have a nice view of the mountains

This place is NOT in good shape. Came to pay mini golf only to be greated by a less than happy-to-be working young lady. Came outside to start playing only to find the courses in horrible conditions. I can't believe this place gets such great reviews. My son even came back in to swap out putters and saw the young lady taking a nap. Too bad I can't give it zero stars.

Favorite place to play miniature golf. We love bringing our ministry kids up to play once a year. Could use a little fixing up such as the foliage on the hill which blocks the view....but otherwise, 2 courses to choose from. Both fun

Bavarian Mountain Mini Golf needs some serious TLC. There were ants everywhere! The cost to play was $20 per person. The wood was rotting, the greenways were brown with dirt and washed away nearby landscaping. They charge $2 if you lose a ball, but the course is in bad shape with missing side walls that it's easy to lose one. I hate the leave this review because the woman behind the desk was so sweet.

The golf course seemed fun but it was impossible to focus on putting due to the putrid odor. My friends and I were charged $10 per person to play 18 holes. Once we stepped outside we were bombarded with the most horrendous smell. Instead of playing, we speculated as to the cause of such a smell and settled on either a rotting corpse or sewage. When we asked for our money back, we were rudely declined. WORST $10 i?ve ever spent!!

This is a great little place to have a little fun. We recommend checking it out. Great views of Helen down below. Fun fact it was used for Miniature Golf competitions back in the day. Show them some love and visit today!

The worst minny golf course I've ever been to. It was almost 50 dollars for 2 people. All of the holes were very bland and in VERY VERY bad shape. Most holes have broken walls so you will be hitting it in the water. And if you do hit it in the water you will be charged for it. 0/10 don't go here. It is nothing like the pictures. 1 minute away there is another minny golf place. Go to that one

The course was beautiful looking out over the valley. The owner was just simply the best! Friendly is quite the understatement! Romeo and Juliet are pawsitively adorable. We definitely will be back!

My 3 year old granddaughter was charged $10 to just go on the course and she did not play. The course was ran down and in need of alot of maintenance. Multiple holes were full of water so that you could not hit a ball in without having to reach and get it out of stagnated water. I accidentally knocked my ball into one of the ponds because it was not properly barricaded and was gonna be charged a ball fee to get another ball from front desk even though I couldn't retrieve my ball from the pond. The owner was so kind and welcoming. We have never done golf before and we had a blast. We chose the difficult course 18 holes and it took us about an hour and a half to get through with a party of 4. Worth the money and plenty of free parking

Amazing place for families! The arcade is fun, but mini golfing is really fun. Parents can even stay inside and watch their kids play golf if they want. You can hit your ball down a stream, and if you happen to hit your ball into one of the ponds, you can retrieve it with a neat tool they have all around the course. You also get a great view of Helen and the mountains while your playing. The owners are awesome!

The owner, Jim, is so welcoming and personable! Inside is a small arcade and outside are two courses. On-site parking is available and is located in its own area just outside of downtown Helen. Highly recommend stopping by for the hospitality and fun.

A nice setting but not well-maintained for the price. The balls were rough and the greens were in bad shape. We cleaned off sticks and other junk as we played but I wouldn't return.

Bavarian mountain mini golf is the perfect spot for a fun and relaxing time! The mini-golf course is well-designed with creative obstacles, and the arcade has a great selection of games for all ages. The owner, Jim, is very friendly and helps customers pick the right course. Taking the Chattahoochee course is fun with a party of eight, though it might take over two hours to complete. Lol. Both courses looked fun and neither of them had any of those cheesy windmills to contend with.

GO HERE! Incredibly friendly and helpful! A locally owned vibe. And the dog is so sweet! The other employee or vendor (idk which really) was also so nice! Our golfing was cut short due to crabbiness and nap time, but they were understanding of that as well. They had the highest review and it is well deserved.

Don't go if they have a car meet. We went and there was zero parking to get in to play golf. It made me hate Volkswagen and Porsche cars. The owners are losing money. I won't frequent them anymore and will tell my friends not to go either. Simply ridiculous.

This is a gem on top of the hill! Lots of fun for little ones, arcade is fun and prizes to be won! Owner is super nice and Romeo the dog greets everyone such a great pup. The golf was fun I did the easier course had some challenge to it and the river floating ball hole # 13 was real fun to try. Music was nice while playing too. My daughter and I had so much fun the owner Jim very nice . I love talking to people very friendly. The miniature golf and arcade lots of fun. Up on the mountains you have a beautiful view. I didn't get pictures of the miniature golf but beautiful views looking out. Definitely visit again when we come back.

Wonderful place! My son especially loved the water features on the course. The arcade inside was nice to get out of the heat AND rain- we finished our game just in time. Very clean, restroom was one of cleanest public rooms I have ever seen. Also, great selection of prizes for the tickets won on the arcade games. We all had a great time. Will return!

My boyfriend and I went today about 3 o'clock and played mini golf. There was plenty of parking. The young girl working there was very nice! We chose to only do 18 holes and chose the easy course to the left. There was a small practice area before the first hole, which was nice to have. This place is awesome. 2 great golf courses. A very cool arcade setup. Air hockey, pool tables, the customer service is great there. Bill and his 2 little doggies are very friendly. The owners are very nice people, everything it's clean, organize, the fountains and the water doesn't smell bad at all, they take the time to explain to you the differents area and how will be your path. Meh. The young lady who helped us insisted we do the helen side when we protested and asked for the shady side she argued and said helen was funner(it'sfountains worked). It was too hot. This is hands down the place to go when you're in Helen! The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and their dogs are so adorable! We played putt-putt and played in the arcade, and it made our trip worth it on it's own! We're going to return every time we go to Helen. Highly recommend!

Mr. Jim and Romeo were amazing. Not only do they run 2 great mini golf courses, complete with River ball runs, but they gave us some amazing local spots to check out. We visited the golf courses twice and enjoyed both times! Support local small business!!!

Was very well run, and organized. Explained things in detail as to what balls were allowed to be taken and clubs. Kept things running smoothly when getting larger groups to playing.

The owners are SUPER SWEET & HELPFUL! VERY FRIENDLY! Has (2) 18 hole course to choose from OR do both! We went to watch the fireworks over Helen, ga hands down has gotta be the best view for the show. Although disappointed it rained and didn't get to beat my husband at put put the ever so generous sweetest friendliest staff gave us a refund. They make everyone feel like VIP members. So thank u to the staff at the Bavarian mtn put put we will be back there's a long standing battle or of 30yrs he still hasn't beat me and I've gotta continue carrying my trophy. This used to be our favorite place to take a day trip. Jim was the best! We discovered that he no longer was there but we decided to give the new owners a chance. Wasn't horrible but definitely not as good. Well today will be the last time we go there. It's not welcoming, it's dirty, and falling apart. Only one course is operational. They definitely need to up their game to be even par.

I cannot say enough good things about the place and the owner! This is a charismatic gentleman who welcomes everyone with a big smile and a great attitude! The only people who give less than 4 stars are people who give him a hard time and make other customers miserable. If you are scared of covid and think everyone should wear a mask, this is not your scene. This is a small business owner who believes in freedom. You are free to wear your mask or not and if you don't like that you are free to go elsewhere.

I have no idea why this has so many great reviews. This place is a dump. The person the worked there didn't even make eye contact. The course hasn't been updated in I don't know how long. The greens are black with holes. There is no degree of difficulty or entertainment. Cannot get anymore basic than this. So disappointed we wasted our money and last night in Georgia on this place.

In the summer their pools literally have floating poop in them and it smells terrible

Had fun but pictures and other reviews were misleading. We went about an hour before sunset. Played both courses. They were fun and the lady behind the counter was super nice. Just seems like the courses could be cleaned. The grasses weren't very green, alittle moldy. The golf balls were rough like they'd been used on concrete. The club handles were sticky. Golfed 7/20/24 in the evening and the miniature golf course is not well maintained- ants and fallen tree debris everywhere on the course. The only employee on shift was leaving the facility right as we arrived and stated she needed to change her clothes. After we were done putting she was sitting behind the counter playing on the phone- We could have easily walked over and played the other course without paying as she was not observant. I can not speak to compare this putt putt location to the other two in town, as I have not visited the other locations. Having said that, this location was just ok, not great. The owner was super nice. He refunded the fee for our daughter when he saw she was so young. The course we did was challenging (there are two 18 hole courses.) Some holes are designed for you to hit the ball into the water and it would wash the ball down a stream and back into the green. Its at the top of a big hill so it was nice and quiet. Would definitely go back.

This was a great place! The course was fun with water falls and a ball river but the owners are simply amazing. The couple is kind and friendly and treat you like family. We had a blast in the arcade as well. I highly recommend going here if your looking for mini golf or arcade games. This will be our summer spot each year we are in Helen.

So this place used to be great but it seems maybe it has new owners. Now the arcade is total rip off!! When the machines eat your money they do NOT offer you your money back and then the ticket redemption is counted by a scale they have set up and not by how many tickets you actually win ... and of course the scale is a lower amount ?? no apologies no customer service absolutly terrible place don't waste your money !!!

Every time we have came here lately there website will say there open needless to say they never are very frustrating when you drive 30+ minutes to take the kids to play putt putt don't see how you can run a buisness when your never open

Great place to spend with the family. Was definitely improv3d since we were there 4 years ago. The facility was clean and staff was great to deal with. One of the better attractions for kids in Helen.

Owner was great to talk to. Explained the two different courses. Price was good and the grounds are well kept. A true delight to visit. Update: Sept 2024. The original owners passed away but the new person that was there was very nice and helpful. The number of arcade games has gone down, but still fun to visit.

It's just south of the main drag, so it doesn't get the attention that the other putting place in town gets. I think it's the better choice though.

My husband and I picked this mini golf course because of the stunning views we would experience while playing of the town of Helen. We were not disappointed. The course was great fun and seeing the town from up high really made the experience. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. We were able to play one course and then decide after we finished if we wanted to continue and were still given the discount rate for purchasing both. We went on a Sunday night and it was perfect. It was our son's first time playing mini golf. He loved it of course.

Every year I come here with my family (they come more often than I do) to watch July 4th fireworks. We play in the arcade, play a round of putt-putt golf, and visit with other patrons who come from all over. The hospitality is exceptional. The facilities are spotless. I would highly recommend this location above either of the other two golf courses. Seems like you get a little more personal space. The view is terrific too!

Courses are fun and challenging without being super hard, staff is very friendly. They have 2 separate 18 hole courses plus an arcade with boardwalk style games and a small selection of snacks and frozen treats. Overall, this is a place my family visits whenever we go to Helen, and it is usually not too busy, so it works well with larger groups than most mini golf courses.

The manager was so kind to us. We arrived late and he allowed us to play. We were the last to leave. He was super friendly and made us feel so welcome. The course was great as well highly competitive. We highly recommend it to others. We went as a family of 4 with a 10 and 14 year old.

One of the highlights of our visit to Helen. Jim does a great job of keeping it clean and enjoyable, but the whole experience is guided by a couple of excellent courses and a well-stocked arcade. Super fun! There are two 18 hole courses to choose from, and they both have a hole that lets you use the water to help you get to the goal, which I've never seen before. The courses looked well maintained and I loved the music they had playing while we were there. They also have a nice little indoor area with arcade games. The owners themselves were both so nice to my friend and I when we went, and they had 2 adorable dogs that we got to pet! Overall, a great time!

Me and some friends went by there tonight and had a great time! The owner greeted us warmly (definitely the nicest person I met in Helen) and made us feel at home! The course was probably the best one I've ever played on. There was also a pretty nice arcade inside! For $10 for an adult and $8 for a kid, you can't beat it!
