I had my daughter?s 10th birthday party here and it exceeded my expectation. The host was awesome, (I think he was the supervisor) I wish I remembered his name because he did an excellent job! They had a lot of games for the kids to play. We had the bravo party package and she and her friends had a blast. From her own word.. ?it was big, the staff was so nice, and the games were awesome, I loved everything there?. We did not feel rushed unlike some other places I held birthday parties for her. Definitely wo

Had a great time playing laser tag with our party of 8 for our son?s 11th birthday. We all thought our burgers were delicious and the adults loved the bar! Thanks for a great night!

First time going here and first time playing airsoft. Family of five. Wife and daughter decided to switch to laser tag, and staff said no problem. My two sons an I rented our equipment (face mask, gun, vest and 300 pellets). We also watched an orientation video that I thought was pretty thorough. There is a quiz at the end! We purchased three rounds. Each round is 10 minutes. We did all three in a row (you don't have to) and it took about an hour total once you account for the break and time it takes to set

Airsoft was So much Fun! My teenage son & friends played for hours and can't wait to go back!! Anything that can keep the fun going for hours like this is well worth it!! Give this place a try! And the staff was very helpful!

My twins had a GREAT party. I didn't have to lift a finger, and thankful for the awesome staff member we had. There's so many games, a bar for the adults, and plenty of activities to keep kids entertained. One of the best venues we've had for a party. ?? Thanks BattlegroundZ for making my twins party rock. Their friends were talking about it all week.

The service their and the staff were nice. Be careful if you bring your own gear because you have to have a bag for your rifle. You have to have a barrel bag. They will show you a video if you are doing airsoft. They tell you everything you need to know then pop quiz you after. It was a very fun time and all the players where supportive.

First off the place feels like where arcades go to die. Crane machines claws are total garage. Most prizes are too big for any claws. On top of that my son played the key game. Won a la4genpop figure. Got the key directly in to win. The machine pulled the key out so much so that it popped the plastic when it pulled out then turned. I reported it to the staff before I could even finish telling them what happened the staff member cuts me off ans goes i don't have access to the machines or the prizes and I can

I brought my nephews and grand nephews for Lazer Tag, Archery Tag and Gel Blasters, ages from 7 to 57. Everyone had a great time. We initially thought the 10 minute rounds would be too short but it was almost perfect. We were all breathing heavy and sweating at the end of each game.

12 year old son and his buddy loved it. Awsome set up

My son had a laser tag birthday and everyone had an amazing time. Alana was assigned to our party and she was wonderful! Extremely helpful and good with the kids.

Took 3 of my boys there and we had a blast. I was unlucky enough to get 3 broken gel blasters in a row but the Lazer tag was a lot of fun!

NOBODY HAS A CLUE WHATS GOING ON. Worst Airsoft experience ive ever had. dont waste your time. they have absurd rules and charge money for every minor convenience that other fields offer for free such as battery charging. and they limit your HPA gun to 320fps purely because its hpa. hire professional staff that understand the game of airsoft,

Really enjoy this place Did their airspft, paintball, lazertag, dodgeball, only thing left is combat archery. Pretty affordable, ample parking, good area (near RI Karting and Rock Climbing as well as 8 -10 minutes from Lincoln Mall. Theres an additional fee for airsofting. Downside, guns sometimes dont shoot/jam up. Mask can fog up. There is a mini cessetion as well. Wifi doesnt work when your need the shooting/waiting area. But overall gopd experience.

Good times ... they also had a band playing at the time of my visit ( All She Wrote ) was the band

Always a good time overall. Wish they had more game modes rather than just constant TDM either way it's 10 minutes of plastic slinging chaos.

the employees are so chill, and check in with you just enough to make sure everyone is safe and having a good time. there is a little something for everyone. we will definitely be coming back!

This place used to be great. Now? It sucks. There's only one ref that knows what they're doing in Chrono. Other refs won't clear the barrel in Chrono but will shoot the floor and risk a ricochet that can damage a gun. During a game we pushed a team into spawn. One ref didn't call a fall back and instead was dicking around on his phone I think. Bought 5 games and left after 2 due to frustration and lack of general fun. Field is an absolute mess. The airsoft shop is even worse. Guns have the prices raised ab

Just had a birthday party for teenagers here. Great fun for the kids. Place is well run. Having an attendant for each party really helps make sure the kids use their time well and are safe.

Took my son and his friends for a birthday celebration and we had the time of our lives. Adults played dodgeball and had just as much fun as the kids. The manager Jacob was so accommodating, friendly and gracious. He made our time there the best ever! Will definitely be back. Next time for an adults night out.

A Friday night of Lazer tag fun. A hidden gem especially if you have children and an inner child.

I've been playing airsoft at battlegroundz for a few months now and I've been having a great time. Long story short: staff is welcoming and friendly. Field and staging areas are safe, clean, and spacious. And the food is crazy good. Like it's super legit. Def would highly recommend anyone, new to the sport or long time players, to come down. It's great fun for all ages and experience levels.

Went here for a party with kids we had kids 12 and 13 yrs old. We did a 3 game bundle per kid. There was a cease fire which 1 of the kids didn't hear it. The boy accidentally shot 1 ball. After the game the power hungry ref I wanna say his name was Jon. Came over and scolded the boy in front of a buncha ppl then took away 1 of his 3 games. Kid has never played paintball and it was 1 honest mistake. It wasn't like he kept doing it. They say it was because of strict safety issues but 3 of their regulars were

Had my son's party here 2 years ago for Nerf. And just had another party for him doing laser tag. They do a great job, they make your part as a parent effort less, All you have to do is bring the cake and invite the guests. Or you can do it through them as well. The cost is great they have a plan for any budget. Everything from beginning to start. The kids love it! And NICOLE is the BEST!! As always!!

we did paintballing there, 12 guys for dirt cheap and had a great time

Employees at establishment are extremely rude and unfriendly. You pay for a service here be it airsoft, paintball, etc. at their establishment and are not treated as a paying customer should be.

It's a fun place to hang out for a while, plenty of stuff to do. The paintball was a little disappointing since the rubber balls didn't work in my gun and the rental guns jammed up a lot. They recommend wearing a sweatshirt yet theres no ventilation so prepare to sweat immediately.

This place was amazing!!! My first time going here was for the Dark Arts Festival. The event was very organized and their employees... well honestly I can't say enough. They were so attentive and handle all questions and accommodations quickly and with care. There was so so so much going on that day and that team of employees were behind amazing! Many times were they running around and checking in making sure vendors were taken care of and that customers were having a good time. Really can't say enough, so

Nice facility. Overall a good time. The major issue I had was there were some people cheating and not calling shots and the refs decided to have everyone again watch the rules/safety video( which was fine) but one of the refs right before playing the video started berating and dropping f-bombs to the entire group that included young children. He was extremely unprofessional. That ref should pay more attention to the video because one of the rules is no profanity. Rest of the staff and refs were great just t

I, and my podcast cohosts were there for the Dark Arts Festival to record during the convention. We had an amazing spot along the wall in the center of the main room but our power cord (for our recording equipment) was just not long enough to reach the nearest outlet. I asked the amazing staff if I could borrow one for the afternoon and, despite the controlled chaos of the horror convention, they immediately helped me out with my request. Super staff, amazing location and great food! We're definitely goin

Would not recommend. We waited here for over an hour to play laser tag and had a reservation. They let a birthday party which was scheduled last minute go before us so we used one of our games on dodgeball. Could not believe that it was the same value. The dodgeballs were falling apart and were not good. We after an hour we still never got to play what we came for and got a full refund. Wasted an hour to not even get to play laser tag. Very disorganized, would not recommend.

Bad field overall, small with little to no buildings and cover you can see from one end of the field to the other. Looks like it's built for a 7 year olds nerf party. For $25 I think I could host a better game of airsoft than the staff here.

I order food here frequently. This is a arcade/airsoft range that has no business making subs as good as the bomb! As a cook and cheesesteak aficionado, can confirm 10/10. Delicious every time!

Just had my sons birthday party here. Very well organized. Alana, our party host, was fantastic. She was on top of everything. I didn't have to lift a finger or think about a thing. Kids had a blast.

I had my son's 1st birthday there in their event room and It was such a great time! The room was surrounded with TVs and had a projector that I was able to play a slideshow and videos of my son on. My guest had so much fun, we played Lazer tag and the arcade and Marty the bartender was amazing (he made a yummy sangria)!! The best part is they did all the cooking for me and the food was delicious!! I definitely will go back!!

Excellent amount of fun ,great for birthday parties etc. Safe environment which is always more important than ever for our children !

Fun place but the party room was a strange set up with so many different parties at the same time. I attended a birthday party with my toddler and I felt bad that he ran through other parties. Some kind of separation would have been better. The young man that was running our party was amazing. He gave my son an extra balloon and when I used sign language he was very understanding and knowledgeable about Autism which is rare to find. I wish I would have got his name to publicly thank him. Overall a fun place

Went to the dark arts festival at this venue and had an amazing time. Everyone from the staff of the venue to the other vendors were extremely kind and professional. I hope that they do more events like that in the future I would definitely go again. Also will be back to check out their arcade and other fun things they offer.

This venue hosted an event the staff and everyone involved were incredibly kind helpful friendly and informative (I was a vendor at said event) They were even great with my child. Can't wait to bring him back for a day of fun or another event. Wonderful place great fun family environment for the kids and adults alike! 10/10

We had a great time and customer service was amazing. Meaghan was amazing

I used to be a ref here, ever since I left the staff have decreased in quality. The current refs for airsoft/paintball don't care about fair gameplay and fail to call back players whom are actively spawn camping. The open layout of the field which is 120ftx160ft, is it ONLY saving grace. If you want a indoor field that has a better indoor field go to Extreme in South Kingston, their store is 100% better in overall quality and will answer tech questions. Plus you get a full days play vs on 3-4 hours w/ also

Cool experience, though I only got to play laser tag , I did get to watch several games of paintball and airsoft and it was very cool ! We were there for a bday party and had a blast !

First experience at battlegroundz and first game was an issue. I was chronoed the ref didn't put chrono tag on weapon( said it's a pistol no need) The ref starting the game said I need a chrono tag even though it's a pistol(whatever). So I get a chrono tag take 2-3 minutes and they start I now waste 30-45 minutes because they cant communicate the rules they created. I asked to go onto the field under 1 minute late and nope. Really didn't think it would be an issue about the other reviews about the refs not

Had a good experience vending here with my small business! There was ample space for people to walk around, three rooms for vendors to spread out in, not to mention the vendors that were there were all awesome. Something we also noticed as a sidenote was that the food was slammin, and there seemed to be a good welcoming energy to the place. Would definitely vend here again!

Well run, big place, clean, great staff

We went for a birthday party. Definitely a different experience with the paint ball, we went for 3 rounds of paint ball. Kids and adults both enjoyed a lot. Food was little bit average but otherwise I would have definitely given five stars for the entertainment.

Omg Jacob was very helpful and funny for my first time playing paintball i felt very safe and comfortable Jacob is the best and all the other worker definitely will be coming back ??

No one was there on a Friday at 7pm. It was the 4 of us playing Lazer tag.

OMG LOVE THIS PLACE!! I had no idea this was hiding in rhode Island but we had a really cool event here and the manager and every single worker there made sure we had everything we needed and were super helpful. First off, the arcade games were totally kickass! And the food? Hells yeah! Affordable and the folks were super cool. My personal fave was the dude tending bar! IT HAS A BAR! so the event was horror themed and raised money for Veterans which was amazing. I hope we do it again and I can't wait to go

We had a birthday party for our six year old on Sunday. Let me start out by saying we've been to a million parties. Trampoline parks etc.... This was a whole different level. The laser tag was amazing even the adults had a blast. Food and cake was great. The thing that really stuck out was the party planner that sticks with your group the whole time. We had the pleasure of working with Cheyenne. She was amazing from start to finish. Complete professionalism and genuine caring. She was absolutely amazing wit

Came here for paintball with family as a birthday present. Bought 5 games worth for our group of 4. At the start of the first game my gun kept jamming and barely worked. I told the ref and he ?fixed? it. The entire first game I was having to fix a jam in my gun after every 2-3 shots. I asked a ref for a new gun and was told ? Do you want to disassemble it? ? They refused to swap the gun out. Game 2 I had the same issue and got my gun swapped out but still got a crappy gun. I spent game 2 similar to game one

I brought my daughter to play laser tag and arcade games and she LOVED it! (and so did I, of course!) The staff were amazing and the games so much fun. After the first time there, my daughter requested her 6th birthday party to be laser tag, so, that's what we did! We had Jacob for a party host and he was INCREDIBLE! He was so engaging and good with the 15 crazy kids, I was so thankful because I myself was overwhelmed with how many 6 years old were running around! Not only was the actual party a blast, but

It was the highlight of my day! Food was cheap and delicious!

The place is super clean.! The staff are very pleasant. The party and laser tag were very organized. The kids had a great time. The reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is the cost of the items in the concession. The slushies are $5.39 tax included. They are large. But when you have a party with 10 kids, you are talking $54.00 for slushies. They could serve a smaller slushy say a $3.00 size which would be only $30.00 for 10 kids. Also, the arcade area preys on the gambler in us by having all these "Claw" M

Been coming here a little over a year, purchased a grenade, paid $40, reusable, first use, it fell apart, went to let them know, was told ?nothing we can do? ! $40 for 1 use???? Went to talk with them, rudest people! Asked for a manager, was told to figure out the phone number myself! Will not go back

As an experienced airsoft player I was highly disappointed in the way the staff treats the players here. I went with a group of three players, and we were constantly split up. When we spoke with the staff about it, they gave us attitude and threatened to "sit us for the round". After speaking calmly to the staff and offering to compromise the "assistant manager" decided to escalate the situation by engaging in a verbal altercation with my friends. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone at

BattlegroundZ is an awesome place for the whole family. The name says it all and they have it all. Laser tag, airsoft, arcade, games and the list goes on. Great place for a corporate event or kids birthday party. My son loved the birthday party he was invited to. The staff is outstanding! Very helpful and always friendly! They have a bar and great food . My family and I highly recommend BattlegroundZ!

Very racist and ignorant, felt like they were not helpful they should have been. I feel as though they were treating other people more respectful than me and my group of friend which we were respectful in and out , they continued to watch us as if we were doing something when all we wanted to do was play paint balling. They were discriminating me and my friends and other people there, front desk is horrible and they will call the police on you if you have a simple question and they will watch you leave the

Great time, last minute change due to weather with 1 day notice I was able to be the "best uncle ever" we did the Birthday package and it was worth it. I would only advise those not in great shape to take on a group of 12 year old kids...

Decent place! It's a big place, needs more arcade games. The food is good. The Lazer Tag prices could be better. $16 for 9 min, it should be a half hour.

Thank you BattlegroundZ . Kristen was our host she was great and all other staff helpful. Clean and fun. You don't have to do anything for set up/clean up. Party room was decorated very nicely. My son had a fun filled birthday party. He was the youngest of his group at age 5. Parents, heads up, the laser tags vest are heavy. I didn't expect that but he still held his own. Adults can go in the laser tag room which I really liked because it was fun watching and we could supervise. I'm laughing pretty hard a

Great field. The staff changes the field up and rearranges it once every month or so. Keeps things fresh and exciting. The staff themselves are great, fun loving people. And the customers are generally the same way. Highly reccomend coming here for your next game day

Had so much fun. I have no complaints. Food was great and the airsofting was the best time I've had in a long while. Plus got a 200$ gun for 45$ no regrets

Awesome facility.... Had a birthday party here on 11/12/17, and I've never been so rushed through an event like I was for the party. We were literally rushed through everything. Some kids weren't even done eating their pizza, but we were asked 3 times if we were all set to do cake. Forced to do the cake on their time. The kids had tons of fun, but it wasn't worth the $355 I spent.

Recently booked an Airsoft event and it couldn't of gone smoother, the staff (Nicole) was super friendly and reasonable when it came to pricing ! The refs are amazing and go out of there way to make the experience fantastic for new players. Definitely worth the trip

DO NOT BOOK HERE. Left feeling robbed. Was told the party would total $290 left there paying $600. And I only had two additional children in my party and I was told that would cover the additional pizza and waters NOPE $125 extra for two extra kids. THEN laser tag charged additional $120 because they counted the vests not the people who actually participated. So kids under four and their parents who had to accompany them were charged and they only last 5 minutes by the way because the vests were too heavy.

Amazing place! Fun for everyone and a great spot for business gatherings with plenty of space. Awesome projection room too. Food is perfect for a quick bite.

This is a great place for a kids birthday party. Relatively inexpensive for a party for what you get. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Our host John made sure he was always available and worked with us to accommodate anything we needed. We were not rushed and everyone had fun.

This evening we celebrated our twins 10th birthday at this establishment. Our host was very sweet but unfortunately not fit/ nor well prepared to host a party for 19 kids rainging from the ages 10-12. I purchased the unlimited gel blaster, laser tag, and dodgeball package and the kids ran around playing in the arcade more than anything. I feel as if the party was not hosted properly the kids weren't being guided or gathered to go from one activity to the next. I had to follow them around and gather them my

Johnny is the best host! Impeccable service and hands on! He can run the party and games all by himself! Super impressed with this guys abilities! Also he loves his job and highly speaks of his work and the place only speaks highly what kind of management they have and shows staffs are very pleased with the management and how they take care of them. Very dedicated to their job and 5 star customer service. Crystal also made sure my father in law who is 83 yrs old gets treated with respect and made him feel c

The worker their named Dylan was very nice and talked with us about video games and that stuff also him and 2 of my friends have a chest indent

Had a great time vending a spooky event there recently for the first time and can't wait to come back with friends /artists vendors ! Bar staff and everyone was super friendly too! Fun venue !

We just had my daughters 12 birthday party here?and all I did was show up with cake. Fantastic staff, everything for the party was included, and the kids had an absolute blast. Amazing, perfect experience.

Yes this is a great place, and not to be over political but even if you don't like your kids playing with guns this place is definitely more than just get a gun and shoot at people. There is a lot of safety procedures that go into place here and everybody here is very professional at what they're trying to accomplish. They also have laser tag, Dodge ball and have huge rooms for birthday parties. And honestly this is a great place if you want to bring a bunch of kids for not an over the top price.

We booked battlegrounds for my son's birthday party. We went with the nerf option since there were some younger friends coming. We were very disappointed to find that the nerf fights are just done in a small room with some blow up barricades. Granted, I understand we would not be in the same arena as airsoft, but the area was not comparable in any way at all. For the price of 400.00. We ended up with less Than 1 hour of game time, as no matter how quick the fights are, there are 3 total. The arcade games

I would first of like to say that our party host was AMAZING! She was very friendly and great with the kids. The issue I have is with the way the facility is running and booking birthday parties. My son?s dart party was at 2:00. We did not get into the room until 2:40 because it was so busy and obviously overbooked. We were promised 3 game rounds. We got two independently and they for the 3rd we were put in with another party. We had 18 kids not sure how many the other party had but the situation quickly be

Completely unprofessional business, publicly humiliated myself and girlfriend. Battlegroundz hosted an open to the public event (vendor market) coordinated by an outside person and allowed for that person to utilize the business to publicly humiliate us. The person coordinating the event had a personal issue with our presence there (a non-violent, non-disruptive issue at that) and told Battlegroundz to have us removed. We were approached by two Battlegroundz security in a very public manner who informed us

My Group & I came in for paintball. The staff was kind, fun & knowledgeable. Great atmosphere. We can't wait to come back & try the other things that Battlegroundz has to offer.

Great for team work. Very friendly place. The worker are very nice and respectful. Coming again.

I brought my family and had a blast with the arcade and airsoft. Upon bringing it up with coworkers I found out that the owner has had a history of inappropriate contact with children and leaves the buisness in his wife's name to avoid prying eyes. I no longer feel comfortable bringing my children there

Paid for 3 airsoft games, rented a gun. The first game the battery didn't work...twice. so I spent most of the first game just exchanging the batteries on the gun. Staff seemed very uncoordinated and untrained. Manager was very nice though. Probably won't come back.

We used a groupon, 8 people 4 hours of play for $60, then each player pays an additional $20 for ammo. Not a bad deal. My complaints do not lie in the pricing. There was a ref that was extremely rude to some of our group during the games, and threatened to "cut the band" of a member of our group causing this member to be excluded from anymore games. Now this was our first time here and while I understand their main goal is safety the issue that caused this comment was during a capture the flag game and a

Started off with a terrible experience and decided to make my issues known for those to come. To my surprise the owner of battlegroundz contacted me the next day about my concerns. She was friendly, understanding and surprisingly unlike most businesses took my concerns serious. She invited me and another friend back with reservations already booked in our name. Reluctant to accept we gave it another try. We decided to bring a couple friends with us and we had a great time. We noticed changes, we were greete

I wanted to give my son a day to remember on his birthday ,so I decided to bring him to Battlegroundz. The staff was phenomenal. They helped me set up tables I selected . Party room was huge and spacious. They constantly checked on us to make sure we was okay. They allowed me to take extra time apart from the time allotted . All of my guests loved the place and kids had so much fun at lazer tag and dart gun game. I will definitely bring my kid back to this facility. We enjoyed a bunch. If you're looking for

Had a bit of a negative experience a week ago however, after leaving a review, the owner of battlegroundz reached out the very next day. She was extremely pleasant and took my concerns very serious. We were invited back to play today (3/10) with a reservation she booked for us which was amazing. My friend and I brought two more people with us and were skeptical about what we were walking into. Long story short, we had an amazing time with some amazing games. From the time we walked in and were greeted with

Family had sooooo much fun! The staff were very accommodating with everything. We did the nerf guns, lazer tag and arcade games. It was absolutely great! My family and I had tons of fun.

Arrived at 845 with a group of 7. Two males, one with a supervisor shirt on advised we should have came an hour earlier. We said oh sorry we thought you closed at 10. They said yeah and locked the doors and walked to their cars to leave. I wonder how the owner would feel if he knew his two Associates left an hour early and he payed them to 10pm... Guess I'll never come back here again.

Field was actually nice. Nice mid size layout with some good cqb engagement areas. Staff, not at all. Had a staff member/ref instigate and initiate in a altercation between two players that became extremly violentq. rather than taking control of the situation, de-escalating and kicking out the aggressor, he let his ego take over and tried fighting the man. The games and times between games had no real structure and alot of time was wasted. Tdm all night and teams constantly changed with out and real balan

My daughter had fun with her friends. Lots of different things to do. It was pretty busy. They have food to buy. It was clean, staff was respectful.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
