Super cool place, we did VR and Mech Pods. I would totally recommend both. The staff was friendly, helpful, and super patient and encouraging with my kid when he was scared to try the VR. My 6 year, 18 year old, and hubby all had fun here.
Great spot! Staff were super nice. Game space/layout was expansive and multi-level. Fun mix of games. Does get hot inside the game space over time. We did 60 minutes, which was great, but in the second half we were tired/dehydrated. Would recommend 2 30-minute sessions to take a hydration break but you can take a break during the games too. Definitely plan on going back!
Great place for kids and adults to play laser tag. The courses are really well built, dark themed with action music makes for a good atmosphere. The crew inside guiding the matches really get into it. Adults and kids play at the same time. $16 for 30 minutes of play or $24 for 1 hour of play. The small arcade area in the lobby is token based, and most games are $1. Chips, candy, and cold drinks are available in the lobby.
Amazing staff and owner! So thankful that we were able to celebrate my friend?s birthday in the most fun and competitive way
My review is on the pre-play rule-giving to young children at a dedicated bday party. I've been here 2x for bday parties. First time, a nerf party for a 6 yr old, and second time a laser tag party for 8 yr old. The experience was identical. They take you into a creepy dark room with markings and etchings by former customers all over the wall (nbd IF the rule givers weren't creepy also) but - without a warm welcome to little kids (accompanied by parents) the rule-giver starts by talking very serious, very s
Our family loves coming here. We don't live in the area but it's totally worth the ten hour flight ?? Great facility and fun games. The best laser tag for both kids and adults. The manager went above and beyond to help our group have a great time.
I've been here a handful. Overall, it's a good time. One of the best laser tag experiences I've ever had. Love how precise the gun is, and the variety of fun modes they offer. However, some of the employees need to learn how to act professionally. Don't know any by name, but they are always in the position of managing and running the games. It was obvious a few of them didn't want to be there, and that negative vibe rubs off on the rest of us. Look, I get that the kids can grate on you, and that the job can
We had an amazing time. We had a private nerf gun birthday. The staff was great, helpful and ordering food was a breeze. Most important, everyone had fun. I think we will go back next year for a Lazer tag birthday.
Update: taking away 2 stars for skinny black employee being a jerk and ignoring us when our respond was not working. Whole team sitting in the back waiting with no one helping. Complained and the guy just ignored me. 40 miles one way from north conroe. Guess I need to look at all the other laser tags closer to me. This place is going downhill. Everytime I went there is less and less people. You may find yourself only playing with the people that came with you. Recommend not paying online. No discount and
Amazing place to visit if your in the area. Great employees, great laser tech in a relatively well sized arena with 2 floors, but the fun doesn't end there, this place also has a nice selection of arcade games( including an original Mario bros.) but that's not the best part. The mech fighting, while it looks like a PS2 game and runs like one, is an amazing time with friends and a must try with immersive controls. They also have VR games and rooms, but i didn't try those. Definitely worth your time.
First time laser tagging and not gonna lie, I didn't think I was going to enjoy it. Boy was I wrong! I loved it! I went with my fam to celebrate a birthday and we all had fun! It's a big place and has two levels. Can't wait to go back!
Their mission-based laser tag was more fun than the traditional games you played before. This place was HUGE. You can play there every week and it will not get boring.
The guys were awesome. The best laser tag in the entire Houston area. Shout out to Axel, Spencer, and trace for being amazing and goated.
First time trying this place. There was four of us total. Made an appointment to play laser tag. Check in was easy, the girl up front was busy but got to us quickly. I gave it three stars for these reasons. They place you in a room with whatever guest that has the same reservation time as you. Children or adults. It was split up randomly so one of our friends was stuck with 3 kids and another adult. We had two kids and 3 adults on my team. Here is where the problems started. The staff is run by kids, theref
Great laser tag experience arcade is fun. The mech pods are amazing!
First time going to battlefield Houston and the last. Had an issue with the teams adults vs children. Played two games then went to see if staff could switch the teams up so everyone could maximize the fun. Was blown off so went to find manager and talk to him. He responded with great enthusiasm but could tell he does not run that place, the employee do. I confronted the manager to try and fix the problem but was blown off and offered a free game. (The free game was during my time slot so don't know how I
Celebrated my daughters birthday here and as always, they did an excellent job.
This isn't your average laser tag. This is COD on steroids. I've been here twice with the family and the next time we go, we are coming out with more friends. The staff is super friendly. I highly recommend it.
We came in wanting to play laser tag at 6:47pm . Not sure why but I felt as if the owner was rushing us through the instructions we have kids 7 and 8 didn't understand pretty much anything he said . When asked why we were rushed he said there were people already inside the arena and ready to start. I had asked if we could wait let them play so we could enjoy the game to ourselves even offered to come a later day . He said this wasn't an option. When entering the arena there was nothing but employees waiting
It is a great place for laser tag. The staff was attentive.
The laser tag was honestly really really fun! The games were awesome but they didn't have air conditioning in the actual play area. (There was some in the lobby area) It got super hot in the hour we were playing. We didn't even dress accordingly because we assumed it would be comfortable since the laser tag was indoors. I would go again but they reaaaally need to get the air conditioning in the laser tag area cause it was almost as hot indoors as it was outside.
Battlefield Houston was a fun place. They had VR games that were a fun first time experience, along with several arcade games. The laser tag was a fun throwback to my childhood.
I cannot recommend this place enough! We had about 28 people for a late evening game. John was so gracious in hosting our group, and the staff was super patient with getting everyone checked in and educated on the equipment. This did NOT feel like typical laser tag - this felt like real like Call of Duty! I was blown away and can't wait to return again! I can't thank John and his staff enough for a wonderful and memorable time
We attended a birthday party at Battlefield Houston and the Laser Tag was fun. Having organized games instead of a free for all made it much for enjoyable for our kid group. It was a bit strange when a group of adults (not related to the party) ended up playing the game with the party kids but they were all nice so it worked out okay. The staff ran the Laser Tag really well. If you are the birthday parents, plan to do a lot of the organizing of food and cake without assistance. For kids that don't like La
Like the place a lot. Spacious area. Decent arcade, Mech Corps Battle was pretty fun and Lazer Tag is really realistic. Only complaint is that because I was good (even though I hadn't played there in like 10 years) because of the fact it's pretty easy to aim, they had some admin hunt me the whole game. I will admit it was a good challenge but when it becomes super blatant and annoying it takes the fun out of me playing. But then again, to even out the teams it was pretty fun! I highly recommend this place.
Kids loved every minute. The staff was very nice, helpful and patient. There are tons of VR games to pick from. The laser tag was a mission situation instead of just run around and shoot people. That takes strategy and planning so maybe not good for younger kids. Older kids had a blast tho. Would recommend this place to everyone. Definitely will be returning.
Pretty unique laser tag experience. I take my nephews and nieces here all the time. In 30 minutes you get 3 rounds of team-based games (usually). There are free-for-all games, but they seem restricted to smaller groups. Games I've encountered: team deathmatch, capture the hostage, domination, hard point, capture the... Token (team with most tokens at end of match wins -capture the flag with multiple flags), free-for-all, and probably others? You don't know what you're getting when you come in, the game
This is nothing like regular laser tag. It's way better. Highly recommend it!
I had my sons 13th birthday here and the kids LOVED it!! Some kids thought it would be a regular game of laser tag but were quite surprised at how much fun and realistic it was. The young man at the front desk was very helpful and patient. We'll definitely return!
Great fun, friendly staff, very good value. Bathrooms could do with updating and closer monitoring, so make sure to take hand sanitizer.
Tons of fun? wear pants (instead of shorts) and drink lots of water.
Laser tag was fun but the staff was rude. They joined our group to fill in space and it felt like they were the ones were playing. One of the teenage staff members was being rude and commenting how our group was bad. It didn't feel like we were actually playing, kind of ruined the fun. We were just there to have a good time and they felt the need to make it feel like we would be beheaded if we didn't win. It would've been more enjoyable if the staff was less involved honestly. Sure we aren't the greatest at
My daughter had her 9th birthday here. The kids had a blast! I liked how they gave them different missions to do instead of just playing for a solid hour straight. They have a nice large party room and provide a table cloth, plates, napkins, and drinks. I would do this again for sure.
This place is a lot of fun. Been a couple of times now. Once just my wife and I and a other with a large group. I recommend going with a group, as you need at least three people for them to run a match and there are not always other players there. The field layout is great, lots of corners and spots for cover. I have not any trouble with the equipment not working like you normally see in most laser tag venues. Definitely worth checking out.
Great place I love playing air soft and I love the abandoned scenes when you and this reminds me of my favorite game call of duty and my favorite character ghost/ Simon Riley
Their staff is just the best. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I'd 100% recommend this for a birthday party or even just playing lazer tag. Their party rooms are the perfect size and their laser tag hall is gigantic. This was by far the best laser tag experiment I've ever had and I would recommend it to everyone over the age of 8.
Went here on a date with my boyfriend. It was a cool new environment. From the outside it looks small, with little to offer. But wow was I mind blown. The prices are a bit much but definitely worth it. I personally think if you ever have an issue talk to Jordan. She's super friendly and helpful. Now they serve snacks there, like chips and candy. As well as soft drinks. I don't remember the prices but they seem reasonable. The workers in there are cool. Although I didn't like the fact that when we were in t
Definitely a step up from normal laser tag. Great course and games. Lots of fun and can get your competitive juices flowing if you're into that kind of thing. Visited during open play period, and had fun players for 2 out of 3 sessions. Experience can vary based on who else is playing. Also did the VR. It was pretty cool when working. Glitched out multiple times during the game, but the staff kindly extended our time to compensate.
This is a huge location. The kids always seem to have fun when I bring them here. And I feel safe dropping off a group of seven teenagers for two hours worth of play, without having to worry about them. The staff here is very communicative and they keep an eye on the kids very well while they are here. The prices are so fair for the amount of time you get to play
It was a very fun experience! They have an awesome structure that is huge. You definitely need to be in shape to climb some of the stairs! Will definitely be making this a monthly occurrence. It's a great place to hang out with friends and well worth the money.
Took our son and had a great time playing both vr and laser tag. The laser tag is a lot more fun than any other places we've been too. I do wish there was a chest and back target but it was still a fantastic time we will definitely be coming back
June 16th 2017 We went here for date night. It was fun, the games are easy to follow along and the stuff are friendly and helpful. We paid less than $50 for both of us and had a blast. We did 1 hour and I can honestly say I got pumped and a great work out. Just remember to wear appropriate clothes and shoes because you will be on your feet, and it does get a bit hot in the arena. But they do have fans to cool down. Ask for Carrot Top, he's awesome. (: Have fun! And great time. *FOLLOW THE RULES!!!
The best laser tag experience, by far. The team and objective based missions are a ton of fun and add a depth to the game the free-for-all laser tag just doesn't have. The gear is top notch, and the staff is great to work with. We had a birthday party there and it was a pretty good value, but the party room and accoutrements and quite ?no-frills?. Make sure you bring everything you need!
I took my 12 year old nephews, and they kept going past while we are playing saying this is the coolest, this is the best!! I played too and it was like being in call of duty video game, and I don't even play!! It was Soo much fun!! Huge and 2 stories, multiple different game modes not just not killing the other team. The guy that was leading the group had the voice an announcer and made it so great! Definitely recommend!!
I've been coming here for many years now and it still never gets old. I always enjoy myself and the staff is always polite and professional and really do try to make everyone's experience worthwhile. Just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work everyone puts into making it an experience every time.
A ton of fun! They have lots of different game types which keeps it interesting and fun. Very affordable. And the course is pretty awesome. 2 levels and lots of places to hide and shoot from. Our group had a blast. Definitely will be returning.
Loved it. Best laser tag place I've ever been to. There is actual weight to the guns, adds a greater level of realism. Targets were efficient, none of that vest junk. Great game for adults too, not just the kids.
The staff was super energetic, even the commentator was so into the game. I only came with my dad, was afraid it would be only us two but they gave us an option to pick a girl staff or a guy staff to play with. They were both farely young (in teenage years) 10/10 would recommend to come. Amazing place!
By far one of the best laser tag arenas I've been to. The field is huge (and doesn't smell). The guns have excellent sights and are all based on head shots so you don't have to run around in heavy vests. They play a nice variety of games to keep it interesting.
I come here quite often, and let me tell you, everytime I go, I really enjoy myself. Yes sometimes the teams are uneven, level wise, but you cant predict that. The staff is incredible. The manager Jason (he may be assistant manager, I forgot), is the sweetest. I have also met and gotten to know other staff like Santiago, Daniel, (code name) Chowder and Elijah, they are all wonderful staff members. I have enjoyed their professionalism and upbeat attitude. You really can't beat this crew. Crowds are always so
Regular player here. Great for all ages 8 and up. Adults will have as much fun as kids, in a faster paced, team based version of laser tag where teamwork and cooperation are needed just as much as shooting. Cheaper and easier to arrange then airsoft or paintball but on the same level of enjoyment for the older crowd. A lot of energetic fun for the younger crowd.
Great place for all ages! It was our daughters 8th birthday, decided to take her to go play some rounds of lazer tag. I'm 25 the boyfriend is 27 we both enjoyed it! She had so much fun. It's definitely worth it. Played for an hour spent 50 bucks I believe it was. Headshots only, the "battlefield" definitely reminded me of COD.
My wife and I always have a blast playing laser tag here! It brings me back to when I was a kid playing Call of Duty! If you have ever played that you will instantly recognize the game types! This is not the goofy retro style laser tag you may be familiar with. Your gun is pretty much all metal with a red dot sight at the top. After two hours you will be sad that it is over but also feel like you had a great workout!
Great experience, really great staff and environment. Shout out to Tres, Axel and Spencer
Very unfairly separated teams. Kids vs. Adults practically. Despite constant rounds of proof things were uneven, the employees were snobby and rude when myself or anyone asked if they could balance the teams. They then proceeded to joke about how bad the losing team was, even calling them losers on the microphone. They also didn't stop cheaters (teenagers running around with hoods on over their headbands). Had a horrible experience as did everyone on the team that was being harassed.
Very fun place to have a kid's birthday party. The course is very large and multi-level. The equipment is fancier than other laser tag places I have seen. The only downside is that it's hard to distinguish who is on your team because there are no visual indicators.
Battlefield was great! The variety of games and encouragement of teamwork was really great. The staff were very friendly and informative, and also promoted good sportsmanship. I came for a team gathering and it was so fun! 10/10 Would recommend. I would love to come again!
Very fun and unique experience and would consider this facility - ?Laser Tag to the Extreme!? The facility offers various plans depending on how long you would like to play laser tag, all of which are very affordable. There are endless game modes, many obstacles/props, and really becomes an intense workout. I did have a few instances where the equipment sensors and gun malfunctioned and had to switch them out twice. Other than that, there were no other complaints that come to mind. Battlefield Houston al
Amazing. That's the best way to describe it. The battle field is giant! This is easily the most fun family outing We have had in a long time. Everyone from young kids to adults have something to enjoy. The games the hosts put up are fun and challenging I'm the best way. We will be making this a frequent spot to enjoy with family and friends! Games run often and it's guaranteed fun
Perfect hour. We came 21 kids, signed the waivers and went into an hour of indoors fighting. The kids were extatic, running and shooting laser. The crew was very proffesional and helped all the kids when needed. After the game, the kids took their time and played the video games until our pizza reservation, in the near restaurant, was ready.
First timer! Went for a birthday party. Kids had a blast and so did the adults. Came out sweaty but we had a good time. Arcade is small but kids still enjoyed themselves there as well. The whole experience is a little pricey.
They have a few arcades you can go through them in an hour or so. They did not announce our party that the Lazer tag had begun, seemed a little disorganized up front. Lazer tag experience was well organized.
Really fun place for laser tag. We usually buy the Groupon package to save some money because it does hey pricey at full price. They have realistic guns with red dot scopes and a huge map with two floors. They have objective based missions that change every time you go. Best laser tag place I've been to so far!
My 8 year old son says ?This is a great place! I like how you have different games like money bags and briefcases and not just free-for-all shoot outs. The staff is great, I liked the announcer, he made it fun.? We will be back for more soon!
I've been to this place with different groups of friends and family several times now. The indoor arena will support up to 50 people, though it gets really crazy at that size. I've played where there were 40+ people in the game, and with as few as five. Depending on how many show up for a particular session, the game master will pick from different scenarios suitable to the crowd size. It's not like a typical laser tag (or Photon, for those of us old enough to remember the 80's) - it's more like playing
The best laser tag experience I've had. This is my second year in a row my company goes here for a team event. The game types vary from team death match, to rescue the hostage, to king of the hill. The guns are accurate and you look through red sites. The course is also interesting and leaves opportunity for many flank opportunities and team tactics to occur. Although just moving and gunning style is great.
Really cool place, easy to check my 13 & 14 yes old into. They really enjoy this place.
I went on a Thursday evening and there was not enough people to play, so we played against the staff. We had an amazing time. The arena is great because it has a vertical component to it, very dynamic and the light is just right so that the experience feels serious. I only wish it could have been bigger, but that's just me wishing. The guns are pretty cool, they look like a kind of M4 with a strangely thick barrel and the weight and sound make them feel real. They have a working and calibrated red dot sight
Really enjoy it here, especially when you have 20 or more people there. No need to come with anyone as there are usually lots of other people there and you can hop in, Friendly staff and time flys by Been here for around 10 2 hr sessions and have enjoyed everyone of them One thing i would like to see one day is a way to track scores of individuals, something most laser tag arenas have. Some of the guns have a stat tracker function but it can be hard to find one that works, they tell you not to mess with it
I think it would have been a lot of fun. However my headset to the virtual escape kept shutting off; I would have to wait several minutes for it to reload b4 I could rejoin the group. I wasn't offered my money back, more time, or even a discount on a future experience. I wasn't expecting faulty equipment in a place like this. ?????
I came here yesterday with a group of about 30 for an office event and everyone raved about what a great time it was! They broke us up into 2 teams and it was great teambuilding because you have to work together to come up with the best strategies to win each scenario. Wish the event room was a little bigger, but they were very accommodating and let us use a 2nd room and hold our awards ceremony in the lobby. Great fun - Highly recommend!
Best laser tag place I've ever been to. No clunky vests, just three sensors you put on a headband they give you. This means you have a full range of motion (stand, crouch, sit, and crawl).
Super fun!. Every half hour you sign up for has a Team Death Match and a tactical game. Capture the flag, search and destroy, and steal the money are a few of my favorites. Two thumbs up for my favorite lazer tag.
Came here for a creative date night with my love and we had a blast! The virtual video game was a lot of fun. We were able to play together on a team. We did 30 mins, but I'd definitely go for the hour because time passes by quickly. Next we did 30 mins of laser tag. 30mins is good. We did 3 games with the team we were on. You get hot from moving around and climbing but overall it was a lot of fun.
Took my boyfriend on a date here and we had a lot of fun. The laxer tag was intense and the VR was so much fun. Im definitely coming back here with friends. Staff is nice as well.
Super cool layout. Multiple game modes. And satisfying guns. My only two real complaints are the red dot scopes have reticles that are difficult to see. And the playing field room was quite warm. Other than that everything was great. 8.5 of 10 recommend.
Battlefield Houston is next level when it comes to laser tag. THE SUMMARY: PROS - Large arena, variety of gameplay, and solid equipment CONS - Brutal stairs, estimated gameplay time, and that's all. THE DETAILS: PROS - The arena is two-story and massive. I hope you are in shape or remembered to bring your inhaler. They mix up the game styles really well, so you shouldn't get bored playing here for an hour. They do team death match, rescue the hostage, capture the cube, bomb defusing, and more. The equipme
This was an amazing experience for me and my family. We tried out the VR Zombie game and had such a great time. Well definitely come back. Great experience for a reasonable price!
Brought a group of children here for an event that was specific to them. The staff were rude and disrespectful. They arbitrarily assigned the kids to different teams and separated the group without reason. When asked why, the answer was nonsensical. Customer service is nonexistent. Take your business elsewhere
Yo Battlefield Houston was super dope! If you are a big kid like me, you will take pride in a good game of laser tag. Not just any laser tag, several rounds of combat laser tag! I recently took a solo trip to Houston and did a quick search on one of my favorite past times. Battlefield offers a variety of games and time slots. Up to 50 players ( Im assuming pre pandemic) battling it out. Since I was a walk in (with an online reservation), I was able to play with the refs. No one was there! It was still
Laser tag was fun. There were several different games like cops and robbers, something with a cube and battle royle. Definitely not your normal laser tag. Had a great time during my bday weekend. Staff is friendly and made sure it flowed well. Great place. If you are tall, do not try to go down the stairs, I have battle scars. Lol
I've been two several laser tag establishments throughout my years and this one was the most ghetto. There is no vest. There are only two kill shots. They put a strap on your head and connect two velcro sensors to it. The stairs put in this place are like knee to waist high each step. So you have to jump and climb up them. However with that said the modes they do offer are a lot more fun compared to other places. I had a lot of fun
WOW!! The first thing I want to recognize is the fact that this business supports military veterans. Woody, who runs the war gaming, is an Afghan Vet and represents the Armed Forces and Battlefield with the highest degress of professionalism and excellence! OORAH!!! My wife and I decided to take the kids to play after I visited during the week. The staff there is extremely professional and the facilities are clean and the equipment very modern and high tech. If you have ever played Call of Duty or Bat
This is a hidden gem for gamers. Between Laser Tag, VR escape rooms, VR experiences and Battletech pods. A great way to spend the evening gaming with friends. They staff is helpful and friendly. Even with the Covid going on, they seem to have a good upkeep on sanitizing and taking diligent precaution. I had an amazing time tonight. We did the VR escape room - apparently the first of two. So guess where we are going next weekend to complete the other half? Thanks for the cool VR experience.
Most fun you can have. It's not really lasertag like all these play places around. This is more like paintball without the pain, and with a respawn so you're never out of the game. Awesome indoor structure with refs that are actually involved. Capture the flag type objective based games. No black lights, and no fog machines. Don't hesitate. Just get a friend or two and go.
"1st time here & will not be my last!" It was Youth Night out & We went as a group (LifePath Church) and it was a Success! Great for Family and Friends. The event is very challenging and you will enjoy the time!!
Never had a bad moment at battle field. Prefect combination of a kid friendly and adult entertainment. You will not go wrong with this spot. Best laser tag and VR ever
Loved the game modes they have for fun and the music they play to get the players ready to battle, the only problem I have is the malfunctions the guns have when they don't shoot. So you have to walk all the way through the map for them to turn the gun on, and spawn killers are the worst when playing any shooter game, a fat kid kept spawn killing my team, I called him out for doing it and he replied with "I'm not spawn killing!" but besides that the arean is so cool and so are the staff!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
