Let me tell yall a story, have a seat. I walked in with a group of 14 we paid almost 200$ for 4 lanes and said we wanted to play 3 games they told us okay it's 7$ an additional game to which we said great! We started playing and an older man started forcing his way through and around the group and we were then told we couldn't play after the game because they needed to oil the lanes in that area?. Okayyy? so then they start oiling lanes while the kids are STILL PLAYING!!!! So we fling balls through to get t
Margaret, Douglas, Ron, Miles, Barbara, and many other dedicated staff members work hard to ensure you have the best bowling experience possible. With years of expertise, Miles is always ready to assist in the pro shop. Ron and Douglas greet every guest with a warm welcome, making your visit fun and memorable. Plus, don't miss the exciting amusement are
Batt is family friendly for bowling, games and such. Great for league bowlers. Some areas like the bathrooms could use some updating. Staff are accommodating and fair. Shy/Shaneka in the kitchen knows how to make the average food top notch. She's friendly, remembers your oder and knows how to prepare the food right. I can tell she takes pride in what she's doing back there. Overall good place, good people.
I love the family environment. They even allow tournaments to be held there. The people thought they were friendly they are not good listeners so you may have to repeat yourself a couple times
FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AN AMAZING TIME (which is saying a lot for the ingrates I went with). 1. I had a great time at the arcade, the majority 95% of the MANY games work. 2. The black light indoor mini golf is a great idea, wish they'd repaint Murals that used to be on the walls thought or throw up some BL posters. Still fun though! (1x time back in 10+ years brought by coworkers and ever found again until Groupon showed BL indoor putt putt) 3. The bar is tucked away but still able to be part of it
Took our niece and her family to play on the arcade side. We had random kids asking all our family members for our cards while we were all in the middle of the games. After we were done with the arcade part, we went bowling. None of the balls fit our hands, nor did they have the weight for any of us. But if it wasn't for one of their staff members, that reassured us that this wasn't normal and actually took time to helped our family look for a lost ring that we lost while bowling and was extremely kind and
This was a pleasant surprise. Went in with low expectations but found a place that was clean, two legit bowling Allys, one regular one cosmo, a cosmo lighted mini golf, and Lazer tag and more. No lines and decent price. Will go back again.
Title: A Memorable Christmas Party at Batt Family Fun Center: Bowling, Arcade Games, Pizza, and Wings The holiday season is a time for joy, laughter, and creating lasting memories with loved ones. One such occasion that stands out is our Christmas party at Batt Family Fun Center. This essay aims to highlight the delightful experiences we had while engaging in various activities, including bowling, playing arcade games, and relishing the delectable pizza and wings served at the bowling alley. I. Batt Famil
Great place to play games. Krazy golf was fun but needs minor repairs however that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves. Never played mini golf in 3D but will definitely do it again.
Amazing service, Barbara, Miles and Al were extra helpful today. The restaurant staff and front desk staff are very attractive. Prices and specials during the week are better than other bowling centers.
We had service great afternoon Date for our anniversary. It is Easter so there were not many people there on the arcade side. We had a great time playing mini golf and playing arcade games.
Very dishonest we paid $42 for nothing it was not a explained to us correctly and the manger still act like he didn't care because of his employee negligence I assume he needs more training instead of selling dreams. MONEY HUNGRY I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE !!!!!!!
Great family fun and the staff are very friendly! The food is always hot and tasty! The spirits and beer are on point!
I had a very bad experience with this place and felt very DISRESPECTED BY A STAFF MEMBER. I went in to bowl with my family and while I was bowling I decided I wanted something to drink, I went into the bar area from the time I walked in the bar tender was side eyeing me now don't get me wrong my physical appearance looks very young but I'm a 30 years old Mother and well old enough to buy a drink I walked all the way down to the opposite end of the entrance door just to greet her (the bar tender) I ordered t
Came here on Monday 12/30/2024 for my daughter?s 6th birthday per her request. We got there at 11 AM (one hour after they're open) and saw many lanes open for bowling on both sides. There were also other families bowling too. We were told that the cosmic bowling side was full because a league was coming in and that they only had lane 32 available in the smaller bowling area because A DIFFERENT LEAGUE was coming in. We said okay, paid $121 for three kids and three adults to be able to bowl two games. When we
The miniature golf was really awesome. I was looking for something fun for my 11 year old. He loved it. The prices seemed really good. I got my deal on Groupon. Staff was friendly and polite. I highly recommend going here for some family fun!
We had a great time cosmic bowling and Black Light Golf. The whole group thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Great customer service from the front desk to the restaurant and bar. They made sure we had a wonderful and fun experience.
Long Post Alert?..Today, my family and I visited Batts Bowling Alley on Cassat Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida. Unaware of the policy, I brought a cup of lemonade into the establishment and placed it on the counter while we waited for our lane. I had been inside for over an hour with the same cup throughout our bowling session. At one point, I poured the lemonade into a cup we purchased from the bowling alley and set my original cup on the floor. Our group, consisting of approximately 25-30 people, had res
Bittersweet feelings. I'm glad they are renovating. I'm sad that the mini golf will not be pen until July. Grandson was disappointed. We will be back in July.
The kids (including me ??) had a blast. We did bowling. We played arcade games. We even experienced glow in the dark golfing. Pretty good deal (money wise).
Family fun Center is a nice place to take the kids and allow them to unwind. There is Golf,, Pool tables,,Lots of Games,, bowling alleys one for kids and one for adults,, meeting rooms,, plus a laser room.. this place is all in one... this is a must take the kids place. ??
There is a lot going on in this place. The staff were nice, though we had to wait in line for a bit. There was a lane available right away, but minimal seating available (only 2 seats per lane). More expensive than I would have thought, 1 lane, 1 hour, 4 pairs of shoes = 70$.
Fun time at mini golf, didn't love the black lights but we still had fun. My son didn't want to leave the arcade.
Krazy 3D blacklight golf was extremely challenging and fun. There are games within the game, using your golf ball - like super-sized labyrinth and plinko. Only complaint is that all of the black light paint is faded and is a few years past needing a refresh. It's about 1/3 as bright as it could be throughout the course. Still incredibly fun. 4/5 stars will be 5/5 after a refresh.
Bowling, arcades, mini golf, laser tag and a place to order food. This was a 5 star first trip to this location. If the kiddo is excited about it so am I.
Our family bowled until the kiddos were exhausted. When our lane broke they quickly and efficiently moved us to another lane. They have gutter guards, and assistance for kids and handicap. The bathroom I went in was not handicap friendly. There was barely enough room for my walker, and there was no larger stall. The half of the bowling alley we were in had enough room for me to maneuver.
good place to spend time, alone, with friends or family. it has more than 20 lanes to play bowling, and special room separate than everyone to play bowling and have fun. place to play arcade games, you can eat here too. the price is reasonable. the staff are friendly. recommend visiting it.
We had a blast at the glow in the dark 3d mini golf. This place was great. Definitely will go back once in that area again.
very family friendly. My daughter enjoyed bowling so much. They have special balls for 5 and under. Bumpers automatically go up and down so the kids can play on the same lane. The arcade was super fun and they have laser Tag prizes etc. There's something here for everyone. Only complaint was with the Cafe. The portions are super small and the help is rude.
Just so other future patrons know, there is a dress code. I was not allowed to bowl due to my attire, my attire being a crop top
Staff, Barbara is so supportive to the leagues and especially the junior league. Margaret works so hard and keeps everything organized for the leagues and running things.
Staff was very nice and helpful. Plenty of seating and the place was clean. After bowling, kids played games. Great atmosphere and people.
Great fun place. We always have a blast when we go there.
Pretty nice place, the nachos are way better than they should be! The cheese sticks are fantastic! It's a little work but very clean. Definitely coming back again.
Great place. Nice staff. Good food.
Guy or girl not sure who it was was very unprofessional. We did not know too much about how bowling pricing works and he/she made it very obvious that we were irritating them, not that mention the coworkers thought it was funny/cute to be rude, customer service takes patience, mind you it only took about 10 minutes to check us out smh. Definitely contacting corporate. Visited 12/21/2024 at 9:45pm
We've been going to this spot for awhile now, both playing pool and bowling. For the first time today, we decided to play after the leagues were over, it was the worst experience ever. We got here at 8:30pm and the leagues were still going. knowing that, they said it was going to be an 1hr wait. Me and my family said we could wait because we could play pool in the mean time. They had us put our Name and phone number down and TOLD us that they would call when there are lanes avaliable. knowing this, we went
This establishment was really nice and we were excited to be here, until the young girl behind the counter was rude about prices after I called and got a different price! After the mini golf we returned the golf clubs to find out we were never offered a score sheet and the girl was rude when I asked where to put my golf clubs! I went to speak to a manager and he shrugged his shoulders and said sorry but that was all he said so I walked off and explained to him I would never be back due to the rudeness i rec
Thanks for hosting my 90 people! It was so much fun. The setup was amazing and everyone was in a great mood! The pizza and wings buffet so delicious and the food just kept coming! And that mini golf was so fun. So was bowling and I know people loved laser tag!
Family bowling night in the private lanes was amazing!! Seating was comfortable, area was clean, and staff was very helpful.
So we are currently at the bowling alley me and my boyfriend had to turn around and go back home because he had a wife beater on and then when we came back, we were OK to bowl, but then the lady right next to us had barely no shirt on with everything showing but they don't wanna tell her anything after she took her off her jacket and it was barely had anything on highly Suspect about people that get pointed out but then they're afraid to confront someone that has barely no shirt on Gee, I wonder why
We just had my kids birthday party here, and it was awesome! The kids (and adults) really enjoyed the bowling and laser tag combo! The pizza was... ok, but the kids enjoyed the cupcakes, and our party planner person was awesome! Highly recommended! Will do this again!
Wonderful family outing! Bowling was great, food was pretty good, clean, staff was helpful, and the arcade was great fun!
This was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon in Jacksonville, of course with the Covid-19 restrictions it was a little strange. All in all we had a good time playing mini golf and in the arcade. I would definitely recommend this place for family fun.
Seems like a nice place, clean enough and the guys at the pro shop are helpful.
Nice place, not to crowded. Great games. Food was a little high priced. Will go again
This is more for the pro shop than for the facility in general, although the facility in general seems very nice with lots of up to date furniture, flooring, and of course, bowling lanes. Even though the building has likely been there for a while (like many bowling alleys), they really keep it up to date. I wanted to try a new ball to up my game a touch. Miles came highly recommended by some friends who are VERY good bowlers. He spent time with me watching me bowl, asking a lot of questions and examining
Awesome fun for the kids....who am I kidding...adults too! Good food, great safe atmosphere! Come get you some!
Great family, friend, & coworker fun! We had our end year party here and the staff is so polite. The pizza, wings, & ceasar salad was amazing. We had a blast!
It's ok just needs more arcade games
Crazy expensive! Right at $80 for 4 of us for only 2 games of bowling. The arcade was also expensive and it's a very small area don't have alot. The concession line is too long, over 30 minutes to get drinks. The lanes had too much oil, the balls were dripping and getting in the holes and on our clothes. Then the disco lights were on but 1 light just pointed in our face the entire time. You could not see your marks on the lane at all. More for kids I guess. Sucked for us. Lane malfunctioned several times
Nice place, clean, organized. Many things to enjoy with the kids. Food is a bit expensive but tasty.
The dyke at the front ess extremely rude as well as the security gaurd. Told me that i wa sbuilt like a lamp and overcharged me. Threw away my items as well. HORRIBLE experience.
Nice, fun family center with a great mini golf course and bowling lanes.
I took my two nieces and bought each girl a 40 dollar card to play games. It came with a 10 dollar credit as well and we played games for 3 and a half hours nonstop off of that. We also won tickets while playing games and exchanged them at the end for treats and prizes. We loved that place and plan on returning again soon. Definitely worth the trip!!!
We took the kids here for a little weekend getaway and we loved it! Glow in the dark golf was their fav! We lucked up and caught a deal on Living Social.
This places is the best bowling ally on the westside. Ron is always amazing and they always have amazing customer service and deals throughout the week. Food is great, lanes are well maintained and every party here is always amazing. Not to mention the arcade, mini golf and black light bowling. Best place ever
Had a great time with bowling and mini golf. Prices aren't too bad.
The music in the arcade was deafening. You will definitely have a headache when you leave. Not many arcade games to choose from. It was a lot of ?try to win prizes games? aka rip offs. Not many games that you can actually spend time playing and doing things. The motorbike games were in poor condition and there was something super sticky on the floor next to one of them. not very impressed with the arcade or the cleanliness. please make sure you are cleaning the baby changing station. The bathrooms were pret
We took our family there NYE and had so much fun! Food was great!
I haven't been to this bowling alley since I was taking my children in1998. I went last week with my daughter and her husband. The lady in the concession stand was completely rude. I let it go and even still tipped her. But was definitely not happy with the way she talked to me and my daughter. But we loved bowling so I went back today and she literally refused to accommodate us when we asked for an alcohol beverage. She said I don't want to do anything to do with the bar area. I willShe is a rude person
We paid for a VIP lane which cost us $134 for 6 people. We were supposed to play two games but the lane got stuck 4 TIMES! And it took us 2 hours to complete one game. Requested a refund for the game we DID NOT PLAY, as we do not plan to come back and was told NO and instead to come back for a free game. I want a refund not a free game as the experience was more than unpleasant!
I went to this bowling alley to host an event for my team. I went to the counter and saw all employees in the room talking so I waited till someone finally saw me to talk (Minutes) . The first person I talked to was trying to help me out but she didnt know enough about hosting parties. A guy finally came and helped her out and I got some answers. They both told me that they will write my info down and the person that's over the vip/parties will get in contact with me. The next day this lady called me that'
My family had such a wonderful time. Shout out to Shinieka in the snack bar..she was great and had a great personality! Will be back soon.
I can't say enough good things! It's a GREAT place to take the kids, go on a date, or just hang out. There's the bowling alley, full bar, pool table, and darts for adults. Laser tag, putt putt golf, and arcade for the kids. Great staff, clean place, surprisingly good food that is very consistent and reasonably priced. Nothing to do on the westside? Come here. It's like going to Dave and Busters without breaking the bank.
Rylie, You run a good tournament today and did an Awesome Job..
Just had the Stanton bowling team?s senior member appreciation and luncheon.
Ok, but not for young children. I called ahead to see if they had games for toddlers and was told they did. When we showed up for my godsons's 3rd bday the only thing that was appropriate for him was mini-bowling and he couldn't do it by himself because the balls were way too heavy for a toddler to handle on their own. I could have saved that time and gone somewhere else.
Definitely a good time every time I have been there. Enjoyed bowling, playing the games and miniature golf 3D. Hear Laser tag is fun. A must for next time!!
Loved every moment of it. The lanes were fun for adults and kids. Had plenty of games after. The bathrooms were clean food was amazing!! 10/10 will recommend
I took my 9 year old to the arcade and mini golf. The mini golf was so cool and a new experience for us! We had a great time and it was very affordable. We will definitely go back to bowl and play mini golf again!
One of my favorite places to go to have fun with my family and friends
Great environment!! Had a great time with family. Would definitely go again!
My family and I came from New Orleans to visit family here in Florida for my girls birthday. This bowling alley was a lot of fun. They kept everything clean. I know some of the staff was tired, but they stayed friendly. We had a pretty good time.
So there's a tournament goi?g on until end of year I guess which caused me And the kids to have to come back...but the next day when we went back still wasn't able to bowl...had to pay more for the VIP section... Like why not make them go there and leave a few lanes open for reg guest
Absolutely love this place. First time doing the cosmic bowling. Pretty awesome. The arcade had alot of fun games. My little family picked this place for my son's 11th birthday. He had so much fun.
The 2 young ladies at the food stall were talking to children, rudely and the kids were very respectful. And the young ladies were being rude to customers as well, while taking their orders saying"What do you want!?" Or "Move, we have to put orders her, MOVE!" The 3 other gentleman there were respectful. And to note that the ones she were being rude too was black. The kids were on a field trip there. And I hope you guys work on your employees rude, disrespectful, and racist behavior.
The food, drinks, atmosphere and bowling lanes with the colorful lights all was great.
I can't say enough about this place. It's a great place to not only bowl but to play lazer tag, minature golf, billiards, and arcade games. It has two sections to it. The main bowling alley which includes the snack counter and the bar. The other section includes all your other games and a small boutique with a couple of bowling lanes. It's a wonderful place to bring your family during both in a rainy and or a sunny day. If you live in the area they have a wonderful youth program that they run. A defi
Clean bowling alley. Service is great and the Pro Shop is top tier. There are daily specials and the food is pretty good also.
Older facility but has all the fun you'd expect at a bowling center. We had a blast!
We had some technical issues with the lanes but othrr than that the food was great and we had a great time. Great customer service .
Wonderful people here! This place is great! Best house in town!
So much fun playing mini golf with our babies. And the black lights and 3D glasses make it even better. Staff is super friendly. We have no complaints and we will be back very soon!
As a family of 7 visiting from out of town we played mini golf and the kids had a great time. Then the kids wanted to bowl. On the website and posters hanging in the building it was offered for kids to bowl free. However when we tried to register it gave an unknown error code which was shown to the employees. They have no resolution, gave no discount and acted like it wasn't their problem at all. I'm sure someone in the building had the ability to give some resolution however they still had us pay full price
Good place to go with your kids or a group of friends it's enjoyable..
Came in with low expectations, me and wife were visiting Jacksonville and just looking for stuff to do to kill time but came out throughly impressed, the staff was friendly was very well. If im in Jacksonville I'd definitely come again
This place is great! It has all the things for the kiddos - put put, laser tag, bowling. We loved it! We had such a great time We came back again in the same weekend! We will be back soon!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
