I went to this bar late at night with a few friends and we were looking for fun and good drinks. Now I have a service dog. He is very well trained and medically prescribed so he goes with me everywhere. Definitely in need of a revamp, which I hear is coming soon, however it will maintain its original charm, with a few upscale perks. Although smaller than some other arcade spots in town the affordable games, food and cocktails along with live music on certain nights makes it an excellent option. Pretty cool bar with arcade games. We only got two items to eat, but both were pretty good. Meatball sliders and chicken skewers with scallions. All orders for food and drinks had to go through the bartender. There is seating inside and outside. Wish they had more arcade games, but was happy to play skeeball!!

Never thought much of this place until walking in by accident! The vintage arcade games are a must! I made a business trip to Dallas for hearings at the county courthouse, and my best friend from high school brought me to Barcadia after dinner. It was fun! We had a couple drinks, played some games, and talked business. So much fun. I definitely recommend the place if you're looking for a good time. The beer selection is great!

Bartender made a delicious Bloody Mary to start off brunch then had a double breakfast with an omelette and French toast. Both were unlike anything I have had before yet still perfect renditions of classic dishes. Compliments to the chef. ??

Bartenders could use an attitude adjustment, grumpy and would give very short answers about their drinks. Asked about an Old Fashioned and she handed us a pre mixed bottle. We asked questions about this and she was just annoyed with us.

Please do not sleep on the burgers, I ate one here and it was probably one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Nachos were elite as well. The Games were cool too tho, definitely had a good time!! A great place to have a lil date night.

IMO the only two things keeping this place from being a 4 or 5 star spot is the lack of A/C and the 20% automatic gratuity they charge. I liked the beef quesadilla, but the jalapeno chicken flatbread pizza was missing the mark. The bartender was cool and they have enough options when it comes to the games they offer.

They make their drinks just how I like them I got a vodka and cranberry. It was delicious! The bar staff was super friendly so that's a plus. I never really wanted to order food, but I'll probably try something next time. My friends and I had fun here so I'll most likely be back here soon.

Great atmosphere, very average bar experience in terms of service. I don't know if it's just the bartenders or the crowd that makes the bartenders act as if you're annoying them by asking for a drink, but it seems to be an ongoing issue. Crowd tends to be college kids. Games are fun. Parking is definitely a problem, so be attentive or park away and walk over. Have not tried food yet, nor are they known for it.

Definitely a fun spot! From the various arcade games, Jenga, and pinball (among others) to the laidback atmosphere- it's just an all-around fun place! Unsure if it was the fact that me and my friends were the only black ones there or if there were just making stuff up but we got turned around because I had on a sleeveless shirt. There is nothing on the website about a dress code. And because I'm from out of town I expected better. Won't be trying to go there again on any of my future visits. It's 90+ degrees outside and can't wear a sleeveless shirt is beyond me

Had a lot of fun at this place for a night out. Parking is vallet only on the weekends, but it's only $5. The atmosphere is great and the staff was spectacular. The games were really cool and only 25? apiece. The only downside was the small restrooms which were dirty and out of toilet paper, but I would definitely go back.

The place was great always a good place to be a big kid. The bar has arcade games lined up along the walls of the place including skee ball, air hockey and a pool table. This place was a cool lil spot to chill, have some old skool arcade/game fun & have a drink. Most of the games are free which is awesome, theres a few u have to pay to play, but the old fun 1s (aka the best 1s) are free (yay). While dining at this restaurant I fell. The tables are too close to a concrete ramp and don't allow patrons to safely get out of their seat. This is a fun place packed with old arcade games. Definitely make a stop earlier in the week when it is 1) less crowded 2) Drink Specials 3) Free game night. Oh, Barcadia. I've been coming here for years and have watched this place go through many changes, both good and bad. There is always an incredible selection of retro arcade games. The staff is mostly very friendly, I've never had a bad experience with a bartender that actually lasted there. The food is great, especially the loaded fries! Great rotating beer selection. The crowd is hit-or-miss, honestly. Overall, I love this place. Stop by and play some jenga on the patio!

Atmosphere was good. Music was at a loud volume. Drinks a little pricey. Some bartenders demanded tips, which a bartender should never do. Some arcade machines took money, not allowing for players to pay. That needs to be fixed to be called an arcade. Also spacing was a big issue. In arcades they line up the machines back to back, not up against a wall. Other than that, it was fun. Probably will not go back again.

It's a nice upbeat environment. It's small, theres only one pool table, one air hockey table and a handful of actual cabinet games. Those arcade machines will eat up your money. Not because they're addictive, but because they refuse to register the money that they take in. You end up spending a $1.50 on one 50? game just because the machine won't register the credit. Its ridiculous. But if that's not an issue for you then, yeah, its a nice place.

Food is not good, nothing tasted as if it was made in house. Wings have 0 flavor. Smaller than expected but the staff is great. Don't expect more than 10 to 15 old school video games. DJ comes around 10 and parking is 5 bucks.

We have been to another Barcadia in New Orleans and enjoyed ourselves, we had drinks and food. I'm not sure if they are owned by the same people but the atmosphere seemed very similar. The website makes it seem bigger then it actually is. It has like 12 games and 1 pool table. Tried to take a turn on the pool table and was told no because the owner and his friend were playing. The food was good and the bartender was fantastic but the fact the owner was letting his friend hog the only pool table was nuts.
