We had my son's birthday party here. Everything was wonderful! We had a hostess who was amazing. She had everything set up for us when we arrived. She coronated with me on when I wanted certain things to come out. We brought our own cake and she stored it In the fridge until we were ready to eat it. She was very attentive to the beverages and make sure they didn't stay too low for too long which I appreciate. We did the ultimate birthday so the boys were able to try all the attractions and no one walked awa
The team was amazingly helpful at Bananas. Amelia helped us get our purchase corrected for the perfect package and for the entertainment we wanted. The splash pad area was nice, but the water pressure in the climbing areas is a little too high for little ones to navigate the stairs. There were some shady spots to sit, but you're pretty much going to sit in the sun if you purchase the water park add-on. Trey was so kind to help my son find a cup for water when he got a little overheated. He also made some re
We tried two activities here: bumper boats and the water park. The boats were fun, and I'd recommend them. At the water park, the water was so cold that we ended up not spending very much time there because both I (an adult) and my 4-year-old son were too cold to really enjoy it. I didn't think it was humanly possible to feel cold on a 96? F day in the bright sun, but I was proven wrong.
We had a fun easter holiday at Bananas. The Arcade was fun aside from a few issues with the skeeball not working but charging the card. The staff were friendly and reimbursed the credit. The foodcourt was tasty and when I had received the wrong churro, I was given two extra correct churros. The putput course was fun as well aside from being easy to miss a few courses based on the sidewalk path and one course being flooded probably due to rain or the water feature next to it. Overall we enjoyed our trip to
I've been bringing my family here for years and have always been able to enjoy this place. Whether an adult, teen, or little one there is a lot to be engaged in. Food is a bit pricy for the quality hence 4 stars, but it was flavorful and hot nonetheless. The laser maze is a blast but also costly per turn. Still a great place for family fun!
Took my daughter today and Trey, who was working the go karts, was amazing. My daughter has autism and he was extremely patient with her. Made sure not to invade her space and asked to do things for her before actually doing them. Amazing young man.
This is the only amusement park in the Grand Junction area. The rides are kind of outdated the games are outdated. The little on the expensive side. The food is okay. If it's your first time going it'll be a lot of fun. After that it not much fun anymore. The kids will always love it. The rides are great for kids the food is great for kids everything is great for the kids there. The miniature golf, go-karts, bumper boats, bouncy houses. A great place to waste some time.
A GREAT fun place in Junction that is as sparkling clean and nice as the online pics show! We brought 3 grandkids (6,8,10) who did bumper-boats, a little arcade, but just LOVED the big water park. Pleasant teen staff at every turn were helpful and knowledgeable, beautiful landscaping with flowers and faux palm trees. Plenty of shade also. No stairs or steps so easy access physically. I'd get a season pass/ punch card if our kids lived closer since one visit was $85 for what we could do ( one autistic child
I just called to get some information about pricing, hours, deals, and attractions and Samantha was AMaZINGLY helpful!! She answered all my questions completely, with a good attitude, and even added some helpful information for our visit. Just wanted to do a shout out for her (hoping her boss sees this)?she did an exceptional job, it's not often I come across someone willingly going above and beyond. Excited for our trip to Bananas!
All the associates were pretty chill. It was a bit on the expensive side, but most places are getting that way nowadays. The family had a great time, and that's what matters. Unfortunately 2 days ago when we went there was a crazy storm, causing a lot of water damage. So, if you are reading this soon after my post, Id call and check if they are even open for sure. Hope everything's ok there!
We want to extend a big thank you to Bananas Fun Park for their generous donation to STRiVE's 2025 Easter Extravaganza event. Your support shows strong leadership and commitment to helping our community. By partnering with us you are making a positive impact on the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your contribution truly makes a difference and we are grateful for your support!
Bananas Fun Park continues to support our First Responders with passes each year during Staff Appreciation Week. Our staff love visiting the facility with their kids. Staff is always helpful and attentive!
I had an incredibly disappointing and concerning experience tonight. I brought my wife and two small kids to play on the bounce houses. My 5 year old daughter ran on to the attraction that spins with two banana arms that kids can jump or duck under. One of the arms got caught on a kid and when he moved it flung forward and hit my daughter square on the nose, and I was surprised to see it left a sizable mark that she will probably have a black eye from. I went to inspect the arms since I didn't think an infl
We are so thankful for Bananas. Our Montrose preschool holds an annual fundraiser and these guys made such an impressive donation to help support our school, families, and community. They are amazing to work with and we appreciate how special they made our event!!!
Great value! We are planning another birthday party for June 3! It's very clean...the food is great...the staff is awesome....and the park is incredible! We are looking forward to a wonderful banana summer!!
Tried to spend my money at get air silo, they were closed to the public, so we came to bananas! Much cheaper and more to do. Good decision. Also less homeless folks to rob your car. Highly recommend.
A big thank you to Bananas Fun Park for generously donating passes to the annual Child Safety Fair hosted by Garfield County DHS! Your support has brought joy to many families, and we're excited to share that you're donating again this year! We truly appreciate your continued commitment to our community. Thank you for helping make the Safety Fair a fun and memorable event!
Their credit card surcharge is illegal. In CO, you're allowed to charge no more than 2% of the transaction, or the actual cost you incur for accepting the specific card used. Bananas Fun Park was an amazing supporter to Cottonwood Elementary PAC Mother/Son game night. Your generous donation helped make the event a huge success. We want to thank you for supporting the Montrose community.
I would like to thank, Ezra and kynzie for the Exceptional service they provided for my family and friends while we at your establishment. I manage Freddy's over here on hwy 6&50, and I will use them as an example to my employees about what great customer service looks like and Defining small acts of kindness.
The claw machine for the ticket rings doesn't work at all. It'll drop down "grab" then immediately let's go and returns the claw. I had gone up to the counter to let them know and the kid at the counter informed me that its set that way on purpose so it doesn't work. I asked him so the company is intentionally ripping people off and he said yeah pretty much. I was not offered any solution for the wasted money on that machine. My other issue is that my son and I had 2 different cards we were using to play w
Very rude disrespectful staff a girl named Addie or Abby and a manger named Christine. I called three times only for her to hang up on me! Accused my family of abusing animals and stole money. We paid $100 just to get kicked out 20 minutes in for reasons beyond me
Bananas Fun Park loves to support Public Education. We have a raffle coming up at our school. All it took was a quick call to them and they were happy to provide us with an incredible gift certificate for one lucky family! I was blown away by their generosity and eagerness to support families.
Well, we were visiting bananas today Samantha one of the managers helped us on the go karts. My Son is in a wheelchair in handicap. She took the time out of her very busy day to help him get on the go kart before anyone else even was out there. She bent down high-level with him and explained all of the instructions to him. She even went to the extent to get a pillow so that his legs could reach. She went over and above her job title to help us out, and I am so grateful for her. She allowed this sweet 13-ye
Family fun! The employees were very friendly, helpful and professional. They had multiple birthday parties happening throughout the day and managed to keep the cafe clean and stocked. There were a few arcade and claw machines that were out of order, but the majority were in working condition. The parking lot had plenty of spaces and very little debris.
Always a great spot to enjoy time with family and friends! I'm so grateful there's a place in the Grand Valley where you can relax, laugh, and genuinely connect with people through having fun.
My kids absolutely loved going here. Their favorites were Lazer tag, the race cars and the bump house. The best part about bananas is the variety of activities. They really have something for all ages so the whole family can enjoy going here and the best part (they serve beer!)
Fun for the whole family, on the more affordable side and there is so much to do for the size of the park! I'm glad the community has this establishment to enjoy.
It's the perfect fun park to bring your kiddos, it is so easy to spend the day with all the activities.
A fun time and helpful staff. The water park is seasonal and closes after October. The miniature golf course is a blast and requires some actual concentration and skills. Great time for the whole family.
My kids (12 and 10) love coming to Bananas Fun Park we love the arcade, and the staff have always been helpful! , As a D51 empoyee and organizer of student council, Bananas Fun Park is kind and supportive to our school community as well, I love how willing this company is to support our students!
Update went back they did not go back to what they were. They lowered to 6 and kept some the same or higher. Doubled the price of arcade games. The owner should be ashamed of themselves. It was cool making money off the only fun throng to do in town until you became the biggest scam of the town. Live and learn it's a small town
Thank you, Bananas Fun Park, for your generous donation to Orchard Mesa Middle School. Your support is truly appreciated! Thank you again for supporting the community and giving the kids a place to have fun!
Bananas was extremely helpful and generous, when it came to donating. Yesterday, my school called Bananas to ask for donations for our fundraiser, and they were more than willing to help. Your contribution truly makes a difference and we are grateful for your support!
Expensive and not worth it. Prizes are cheap and crappy but the staff is awesome. The games are newer so that's a plus, but overall it's an expensive outing with the family.
Very fun. You have to spend hours here. That is partially a good thing and partially a bad thing. It was quick to get our wrist bands. The front cashier kindly explained what level got you what perks, so that was easy to decide. They have specials throughout the week. We went on a day(I think Saturday) where it was $3 off the water park. We had an awesome time at coconut cove. Great for ALL ages, infants to grandparents! ?? THE LOUNGE WAS RIDICULOUS. Part of why we spent so long there... I ordered fries:
safety hazards everywhere, signs say don't use bouncy houses with out operator. not a operator in sight. I paid for my children to have a fun safe place to play. that is not what we got. there are large boxes of glass and lockers left in the small children's play area, they're not roped off or anything. one of those boxes easily could crush my 2 year old. when hazards and concerns were brought up to an employee she had little care and did nothing about it. When we got to a spot in the put put golf someone v
Bought 4 unlimited passes, the Lazer Tag didn't work, had to use credits for the maze, was told that the $25 unlimited gocart weren't available even though it's clearly posted on both the web site and in store which is how they upsold me to the unlimited package an extra $60. Then I stead of allowing me to buy grip socks the on duty manager decided to kick us out. Ultimately it was a total waste of money and a very much unenjoyable. They need to make some changes before I will return.
We have a volunteer appreciation party there for our kiddos who helped volunteer and the staff at bananas were amazing. They were very helpful. We will definitely be going back. This was in November
My daughter and I stumbled upon this place by chance but we had so much fun here. I lived the racing arcade games they had. We played every track on each of them. We also rode the go carts and won many tickets and got prizes. My daughter and I enjoyed ourselves here.
THE Best place for kids to play in the area hands down! Great place for a first time Go Kart lesson. If one thing could be improved it would be faster carts for the big kids.
My grand boys had a blast! Pretty pricey though... $80 for the bouncy house, a snack and drink, and the cheapest token package for 2 boys and 3 hours.
The general manager is very rude and takes toddler time EXTREMELY seriously. (10 min to open and we were told to leave) Also the water at the water park is sub zero temperatures
Totally awesome place! Water park and go karts are amazing
This place used to be fun, yes they have the $20 deal on Thursdays. Doubling the price on all of the arcade games is ridiculous. It makes it less fun because there is less you can do.
We had a very fun trip to bananas, my son drove the go cart for his first time and it was very safe and very exciting. We enjoyed the laser tage, bounce house, mini golf, and arcade. There is always so much to do at bananas and four hours felt like one hour. We got the balloon helicopter toy as one of the many prizes we redeemed and we love it. See video for toy review.
At first we had problems with the games then they took our points off of our card and wouldn't give it back till he said something and we've been waiting for 25 minutes just to get our stuff and people keep going in front of us and they're not helping Then I got yelled An employee for being on a bumper boat for two Minutes
It was the Best time, and The Grandkids just loved it, has soo much to do...
The staff has been great. You get a decent amount of credits for the arcade options. Clean. The food was better than expected.
Arcade games increased Twice in the last few months. Most games doubled. Bananas is one of the only fun things left to do. It's very sad that it cost 100 bucks for an hour of fun in 2024. 50 bucks lasted less than 30 mins at the new rate of arcade games. Big win for the owner
The kids always have so much fun at the water park. There are always employees walking around and even on the equipment to make sure everyone is being safe.
The managers were so helpful and accommodating! Very polite and excellent customer service! Will definitely be coming back!! Thank you for all you do!
Pretty crowded but the only thing we did was mini golf. It's a good course and took us about an hour to complete (we have a little one)
This place is bananas. Lazer tag, putt putt, go krats water activities, arcade, lazer maze, etc. They have several packages with unlimited play and great week day rates. The food in the restaurant is really good. Everyone was nice and friendly. Everything is very organized. Great fun for all ages. Beautiful views of mountains in the background. We will return.
I bought some pizzas and we all got sick, and Sam's service was very unprofessional... he also had a bad attitude with other people that Sam was serving.
Had a blast way fun all day ticket prices ain't that bad and the kids had a great time
Great place to take the kids if you have 4 hours and want to argue with them about everything
I want to add to my 5-star rating! The employees who work here are phenomenal! They're awesome with kids and care greatly about their safety! I highly recommend bringing your child to create amazing memories here! We made reservations for our daughter's birthday here, lots of kids to handle can be stressful! But because Bananas also care about the parents, they provide liquid encouragement for the adults! Haha all around great time! ??
Worse place to take your kids to! Employee don't care about others safety. They may say they check everything but they don't! Children have been hurt many times. Employee blame the parents! Parents don't deserve this! The mangers just yell and think they have the right to treat adults and kids this way! You want answers, well better wait for them to call the cop. They won't talk to you!
So much fun with my grandkids! They played in the water, played arcade games and laser tag. Hope to go again soon.
My family shared my nephew's 7th birthday here. He had a BLAST! We started with the bouncy house. Next, we enjoyed lunch. Following that, we played numerous video activities. We wrapped up our time with go cart races. What a terrific time! Thank you!
The bad: not price friendly for families on the weekends. Long wait times, overcrowded, problems with go karts. The good: it is a ton of fun if it's not too busy. They do run deals for (off days) there are a lot of arcade games Bad weekend experience: We were there for 8 hours and got to do go karts 2 times. 6 holes of put put because it was so busy and people were being impatient. And bumper boats 1 time. We paid 105$ for that! The line was also so long for their cafeteria we had to leave to eat and com
We celebrate my sons 11 birthday and it was soo fun!! They make the best cake, the pizza was so delicious. Our waitress was incredible. She provided everything we needed as soon as we asked it was truly the best service and the best experience. I love it so much I definitely recommend it especially for a kids birthday party!
Always a wonderful time. Little on the spendy side for a large family but considering the plethora of activities available for every age group and the ability to play all day. It is well worth the cost of admission. One of the few family friendly activities available in Grand junction that's as much fun for the adults as the smallest child. 10/10 will be back.
Coconut cove is a wonderful place to have a birthday party! The hostesses prepare everything. Pricing is decent. We had no issues, loved every minute.
I scheduled my family reunion (45 people) at Bananas Fun Park. From start to finish they were incredible to work with. They helped me put together a plan that would be fun for everyone. The management was so kind and accomodating. The hosts we had for the evening worked hard, anitcipated what we needed, and were just lovely humans. The park is very fun, but the people are what made my experience fantastic. Highly recommend!
Great mini golf course that is well maintained. The mini golf also has the optional hole challenges if you like variety.
Great local park for all ages! Toddler playground and elementary age climbing/sliding are very well concieved.
This place was fun! Took my son for his birthday! We had a blast
Employee with 20 on there shirt yelled at a veteran and would let other people on the bumper boats without shoes but not me or my friend
Coconut cove is a fun little area, my kids seemed to love it! The young man at the entrance Gate today was phenomenal! He was very accommodating! The water is every refreshing, especially being out in the dry heat. I think putting up some more of the palm trees in the future would be a fantastic idea.
Very good for kis and family
We played mini golf for a work excursion and had a lot of fun.
I went into Bananas last year for my girlfriend?s birthday and there was this really nice lady that gave both of us a free pass for our birthdays because we are both born in August. Went in there this year and asked if they could give my girlfriend a free pass for her birthday today because she actually has to work on her birthday tomorrow and this lady said no it would have to be on her birthday so we just left. It's crazy how some people can be so friendly and nice while others can be just like how this l
Always a good time for the kids
Fun place to take the kids. Lots of games to play, things to do and good pizza.
We went to coconut cove water park and had a blast! There was a life guard there named maycey. She was super nice and always had a smile on her face! I loved her attitude the entire day! Thank you maycey for making our day trip awesome!
We used to really love this place but absolutely never again! We decided to host our kids birthday party there, we had 6 children that played and 8 adults who supervised. From parking on it was nothing but a disaster! Parking is ridiculous, there's no where at all to park. We parked over at Coorstek and hiked over. We get in and the woman we spoke to her name was Sam J., told us we had no reservation for a party and couldn't find it. She took over 45 minutes and said it would count as the time for the party
Took my family there to celebrate my granddaughters 6th birthday, fun for all ages
We had a great time playing the arcades, can't wait to go back and do the other activities!
We had 24 friends & family join us at Bananas for pizza, etc. A young lady named Jordan did an excellent job of serving us! Jordan was very pleasant and efficient. She helped make our evening very enjoyable! GJ is very fortunate to have such a quality entertainment venue.
They were very generous and donated multiple coupons for our fundraising event!!
What a fantastic place to play!! We had so much fun and the kids were delighted with everything. Kynzie was above and beyond fantastic. She is so patient with the kids when they're shopping for their toys and very helpful with my many questions. I appreciated her excellent customer service and is very friendly. Thank you for a great day and a wonderful way to spend time off on spring break!
We've had my grandson's birthday party here the last couple of years. He loves it! There is so much to do! More than an arcade!
We had my sons 6th Birthday party here, which is a change from our usual venue of highline lake or a park with a waterside bump and jump. To be honest I'm not sure I'll be able to go back to our normal venues choices. It was SO nice not having to pack up 2-3 cars worth of supplies and food to pack out to wherever we were going! We got to enjoy the party while our hostess took care of everything. We just had to bring ourselves and the cupcakes and that was IT! Our host Hazel was on top of it the entire party
Inside arcade. Lots of stimulati. Didn't go to Laser Tag nor outside but they have a water playground & bumper cars, mini golf....Laser tag is inside. Arcade was a lot of fun. Thurs & Friday has a deal for double up on arcade credits. Saturday we got 96 credits for each $20, Machines take between 1 and 8 from what I saw. These driving games & Minecraft game took 4 per cycle. Tickets earned go on the bananas card.
So much to do and the pizza was very good. My granddaughter's birthday went well and pretty good service
The best place to take the kids in GJ! Khristine and the staff were above and beyond! Very reasonable pricing considering some of the passes are unlimited all day long. Would live here if I could. Make sure you ask to see the bananas cat tornado!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
