Baldwin Bowl & Lounge - Ultra Lanes

First time at Baldwin Bowl for our Family night out last month. The cover charge included the shoe rental and 2 hours of bowling. the DJ was great, made it a good night. The finger food was great, too. Flavorful and savory. We had the nachos, fries and wings. I'm sure we would be back again for more family time. Plenty of parking in their parking lot and theres also street parking.

Amazing time! Planned my birthday for about 16 people and everyone had an amazing time. George was at the front there was a little discrepancy but he handled it very well for me. Security was so professional and nice. Spoke to everyone with respect, the team that handled our names and our food was great! Such an amazing turn out! The staff was super friendly. It's usually more crowded than this I'm told so my 1st experience was welcoming not having to rub shoulders on left & right!! This is not the same Baldwin Bowl I grew up going to. This used to be a family-friendly establishment, now it's so trashy. The food is overpriced, and the staff are rude; they need a crash course in customer service, especially that one guy working at the bar (you know who you are) ??. I was shocked when I saw security at the door like it is a club in the city. Is that really necessary? The staff was very rude and unfriendly. They were blasting nasty music. Since we are a family and were the only customers there, we asked them to either shut it off, or at least lower it to a reasonable decibel. They refused. Fun for groups. We went here recently for a work outing and if you book ahead for a large enough group it's entertaining. Huge Parking lot. The drinks were awesome and love the environment. The shoes were good, I'd wear them around the house to be honest. We just voted to do our Holiday party here because of the great turnout.

Went here last night and I wanted to try to Henny fishbowl , first off its over priced and they don't fill it up and it does not come with the stuff that's in the picture, no dry ice , no duck, no nothing just a watery ass fishbowl. I'm not sure why people are giving this place a five star rating. This was the worst bowling alley I've ever been to. Please do not waste your money going to this place. Horrible. Drinks overpriced 38 for double shot of patron. I asked for patron with lime they didn't have lime so I requested small amount of lime juice it was too sour. Marie refused to accommodate me. I had to buy another $38 drink and it doesn't taste like patron. Thumbs Down

Atrocious! When I walked in the alley, it felt like I walked into a Friday night club! Lights were off, making it very dark and music was way too loud! And there was only two other families present! Got a great voucher from Clipp for 2hrs unlimited/free shoe rental for 4. Showed up with my friends around 1PM yesterday (a Sunday - all prime time to bowl), attempted to go in through the back and front, and it was entirely closed even though Google and their official page stated they'd be open. My friend called the office who said they should be open and that they'd call back but never did. Ended up getting the same deal from Groupon and a great time at a different bowling alley in Garden City!

Unprofessional staff. Before, heading out to the location, I called Baldwin Bowl & Lounge in advanced about hookah hours and the young lady informed the consumers the hours of the hookah hours being Thursday, Friday & Saturdays. We arrived at the location from another borough. We was told the hookah hours was not the following hours given. Venue is pleasant but communication skills was very misinformed. Please review over your staff.

I'm not sure where the 5-star reviews come from. The place is a mediocre bowling alley. It could greatly benefit from a good deep cleaning and basic repairs. One person in our party almost tripped over the loose base of the electronic kiosk. The staff is friendly and the large TV screens are pretty nice. The place is littered with slabs of wood, old stuffed animals, unused speakers and audio equipment, amongst other junk--most of the issues could be resolved by doing a good cleaning and calling 1-800-G

One simple word Racism. Out of maybe 3 families in the place we were looked on the waiter decided to come take our food from us yelling Are you done when she clearly sees the food still in the containers. Like are you blind??? we didn't even finish eating the place is nice but the employees racism at its finest. I wouldn't be going back.

Terrible experience on the Sunday before veteran's day. We had to move lanes 3 different times because of issues. There was only one guy working when the place got busy on a holiday weekend which is crazy. No food or drinks available because of that. I can't blame the young man that was there working by himself. A young black guy who did his best. He ended up giving us our money back. I'm sorry I didn't get his name. Never going back there.

The whole experience was disappointing. First, the check in process. I've never been to a bowling place where I had to leave one of my shoes behind in exchange for the bowling shoes. But that was a minor nuisance and there must be a reason to that policy. Second, the food and drinks are a joke and completely overpriced. So, they "renovated" and everything still looks like 100 yrs old. The floor is broken, the counter is all cracker, the seats are sticky! At noon, there is no one behind d the snack counter.... but that's ok, there weren't any snacks to buy. The popcorn looked like a yr old. The shoes were old and decrepit. Why can't Baldwin just have a nice bowling alley like Rockville Center? Ugh!

Just don't come here? it's not worth it. We waited 40 minutes for a hookah, and 20 for beers. $50 for a beer pitcher is insane too. Our lane for bowling was also messing up the whole time. Please don't come here.

We stopped by the place and it was very dark we almost thought they were closed. Then we saw movement at the bar. No one bowling only drinking everyone crowded around the bar. Not a great scene.

Family had a good time celebrating a birthday. Staff is great, music was good. We ate before coming, so I can't comment on the food. Establishment needs some upgrades. I hope people to come here, so they can make this happen. The community will benefit from place like this staying open for our families to have somewhere safe to go to have a good time.

The only thing somewhat annoying about this place is that the lane kept needing a reboot so we had to keep going to the customer service over and over. And the soda was super flat. The music was lit and we had mad space even playing alongside others not part of our party. It wasn't terrible.

I had a fun night here with a few friends for my birthday. The DJ was playing good lively modern dancehall and rap music. The the drinks were a little expensive, even tho my Hennessey sour was on point! But the $30 for two hours of bowling was worth it.

Group of 4. Changed 3 lanes because none worked. Took 30 minutes to get a redund as no manager was on site. No Chef/Cook was on-site. Took food orders but no one there to prepare the food for an hour. Veryyyyy weird place.

I booked a reservation a week ahead of time in order to have lanes reserved for my party of 15 and also paid in full in advanced. Upon arrival, I was asked for a physical card, due to the facility receiving chargebacks from guests, which I understand. I proceeded to take cash out and pay cash for my party, with the understanding that I would receive a refund on my card, since I did not have the physical card. Went to this bowling alley for my cousin bday party. First the parking lot just people hanging out doesnt feel that safe .Also I noticed that the anont off people looked and felt over packed its more like a little teenager club!! Recently had the opportunity to take my four kids and their friends during the day for a pizza and bowling experience. I got to say the staff was amazing and very helpful. They had plenty of equipment all in great condition very easy for everybody to find and well organized. Such a cool vibe with all the lights and music going on. Recommended prices are reasonable as well

Best place to go with friends for a great time. Drinks are on point, appetizers are crispy. Best bet- get your group a bottle and enjoy the vibes. Music is great. Fog machine is sometimes on too long but luckily the pins are colored.

This isn't a real bowling alley. If you're an actual bowler DO NOT COME. It's a waste of time. There's no oil on the lanes. They are not maintained. Equipment from 1980s. Left after 7 frames.

It was okay. We probably went too early because as we were leaving that's when people started coming. For food we ordered sweet chili wings and fries. Was good chicken was really crispy as well as the fries . Sauce comes on the side not on the chicken lol

The pin machine thats suppose to lift up your pins is broken in some of the lanes. And I kept coming to them complaining. When I asked to speak to their manager, they said their manager, wasn't there and to leave them my number like I'm slow enough to believe I'll get a call back . A month later still no call back which I expected .

I hosted a library program at Ultra Lanes Baldwin from 3-5 PM on a Wednesday. For 25 teens we had lanes 17-24. The staff were very friendly and got everyone set up. Whenever a teen needed help with a ball or the bumpers, they came right over. We also ordered pizza and drinks. The pizza came on time and I got to pick four different drink options for the kids including soda, fruit punch and pink lemonade. The parents kept coming up to me saying how nice the program was and the kids had a great time.

A waste of time and waste of money!!! I wanted to go out with some friends for a good time so we decided to go here. At the door they only take cash which is so inconvenient considering all the different options for payment most places have in 2024. BUT guess what ? They offer a ATM on site with a $5 fee!!!! What the hell! I've literally never seen a $5 ATM fee before. I should have left at that point. By the way? it's $30 at the door for 2hrs of bowling. (I'm pretty sure they only take cash to avoid taxes)

Out the way spot, very clean .The bowling balls don't cut up your fingers. They lady at the front desk is very nice and inviting. The only negative I have is, it be chilly in there so dress appropriately.

I took my son and nephew here and had a blast! Great atmosphere, and arcade. I did ask the lady to switch the music to something more kid friendly and she refused, plus gave me a nasty attitude. I had a great time here on several occasions. It's an all around great establishment for dates, family and friend gatherings. Customer service was amazing and attentive. Drinks were on point. It's always good time. The food is good, drinks are good. Music is a vibe..but trust and believe you will be spending a lot of money. It's very pricey. You will however have a good time. I'll definitely go back, but I'll be financially wiser. They have parking in the back, just turn right after the light, and another right and you're there. Convenient location that can benefit from an update. Attentive staff and great parking behind building. Went on a Tuesday night outing with 6 friends and almost had the entire Bowling Alley to ourselves! The staff asked us what music we wanted to hear and even put the party lights on for us to set the atmosphere. Great option for after work get together with coworkers, friends or family. You can also reserve the lanes ahead of time on their website for convenience! Definitely recommend supporting this local

First time going here. The place is decent looking. It was packed when we went. You had to wait to be called. They give you a beeper that flashes when it's your turn to play. You're allowed 2 games per session. We played 2 games and ordered food. The food was alright, nothing that makes you want to get seconds unless you're really hungry. There was a DJ present that made the atmosphere fun and carefree. Overall it was good for our date night. We had fun.

If you're looking for a club-like bowling experience this would be your spot. . However, if you're looking for a casual bowling experience with friends I would not recommend as it is overpriced ($30 per person) for poor quality lanes. You could find a cheaper spot for better lanes elsewhere. Nonetheless, music and service was decent.

I came here on a Friday night and it was nice. But I have been here on a Thursday and it was a party. If you want to party go on Thursday. If you a pro bowler go on Monday lol. The drinks are 7/10 could be better. The food is 7.5/10. They have hookah just find out when.

We rented the entire bowling alley for a school outing. Brenda was very helpful and made the booking process very smooth. The students had a fabulous time and look forward to going back. The staff was friendly and available for anything that was needed. I would definitely rent the facility again in the future!

This is my son's second time having a birthday party here. I loved how the staff was very attentive and met everyone of my needs. Friendly and polite as well. The kids had a wonderful time. I would NEVER come back to this place again. Service is everything to me. Especially when choosing a place to celebrate with family. The vibe was what I expected but the service was TERRIBLE, waited about 1hr in a half for two orders of fries to come and then another 1hr in a half for four drinks which I wound up asking for a refund. Constantly had to ask a server or manager to help me. It wasn't until I complained verbally around other guest that the service is terrible that a manager pulled me to the side
