Many praise the friendly, welcoming staff and clean, well-maintained environment. However, some criticize the high prices, rigged or poorly maintained games, and steep point costs. Customer Reviews

Stopped in to get some cookies. They were good. Good place if you have kids and want to do something other that than the beach. Good for a rainy/cold day.

After multiple visits as a local...This is a fun little spot but a little too expensive to be a frequent stop. The games aren't maintained well but this could be a very cool spot if they changed some things... multiple games given up on because they weren't working correctly.

We recently hosted our daughter's birthday party at Attycat?s Arcade, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! From the moment we inquired about their party services, everyone was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making the planning process a breeze. It's clear that they genuinely care about their customers and want to ensure everyone has a great time. The arcade itself is a gem?family-owned, which adds a personal touch that you just don't find at larger chains. The variety of games kep

Kids loved this arcade! Small but amazing .. ice cream is delicious! And the staff was so fun and helpful! Highly recommend and will def be back!

Awesome local arcade with a fun variety of games to keep kids entertained. Owner and staff are super friendly and went out of their way to make sure our kids had an absolute blast. Definitely worth a visit.

Great place, very nice people. Also connected to an ice cream place! 5 stars for sure. Love it.

We visited earlier this week while on vacation for our daughters 9th birthday and there was a taller gentleman working who seemed to maybe be the manager or owner (we didn't catch his name unfortunately), but he really went above and beyond with his friendliness and customer service! He taught us strategies of how to win the coin drop game, kept checking on us, and let us taste test a fresh batch of delicious ice cream. We had a great time and highly recommend!

The owner chris and his wife are the best. super sweet and caring, Michael is super nice as well so many smiling faces and love to help the guest! They are a family oriented environment and lots of things to do for kids all Ages, they have delicious ice cream and cookies as well. The people working here are the sweetest souls and they love helping the community and everyone at the arcade and ice cream Shop! We love going here!

Love everything about this spot!! The ice cream and cookies were the best my family has had in ages, and the owner (Chris) was so kind and welcoming! Our dog loved his pup cup and all the attention he got. Both the sweet shop and the arcade were immaculate, and all the staff were great. We'll be stopping in again for sure!

Austin & Jade made our cookie cake on the fly. So welcoming and offered us cookies while we waited!

So much fun!! Great games and cool prizes! It kept our family entertained all evening. The arcade connects to Marble Slab Creamery/American Cookie so there were plenty of tasty snacks for everyone! We had a great time and will definitely go back!

Great rainy day place on the beach. Plenty of modern machines to occupy time. Settings may be a little stiff and credits are at a high level but all are reasonable for the beach location. The ice cream and cookie bar are an added bonus.

My family and I came for the first time and we had a blast . Great place for the kids and family?s of all ages. Atticus arcade has tons of fun cool prizes as well as cookies, cookie cakes, and ice cream.

Spectacular arcade for the entire family. Locally owned with tons of options for kiddos or all ages. They also have incredible ice cream, coffee and other treats! Dont miss this wonderful 30A spot!

A great place to bring your kids for an awesome experience. The staff made it super fun, they were welcoming from the start! Definitely would recommend.

Kids had a great time! Out of the heat and into the arcade. Clean and comfortable all my children had fun and asked to go back again.

What a fun activity on a rainy day! Small arcade but fun games. Manager/owner was super helpful and friendly and handed out free cookie samples to the kids!

Smaller arcade, but extremely clean and well maintained. Newer games although the RTP (return to player) is set extremely low (meaning games pay few tickets in relation to the cost of tokens.) Additionally, the claw games are set to VERY high ratios before rewarding a prize. This should be adjusted for the less expensive, plush dolls. The staff was VERY helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. There is an ice cream shop and Great American Cookie Co store within the Arcade which was a nice

My 3 and 5 year old boys loved the place. We will be going back!!

Friendly staff, kids had a blast playing games & eating cookies. Affogato was delicious! Great new addition to inlet beach.

This place is a scam. Absurdly expensive and the claw machines are awful.

Great family spot for both the kids and adults to enjoy! The sweet treats are also ??

It is a great place to bring the family plenty of things for the kids to do while the parents eat some fresh snacks and relax or play as well. ??

Amazing ice cream and service

My kids greatly enjoyed this experience and all of these people deserve raises for making a clean, safe, and fun environment.

Delicious! Friendly staff.

Lot of games, fun for the kids, and parents if you like to get a treat next to it a ice cream store and watch some sports on the tvs

The ONLY reason it gets at least 1 star is because it had arcade games and nothing else. Also the games were sooooooo rigged that my friend lost lots of money. And what kind of name is Attycats? ITS GIVING FURRRRIES

Fun little stop. With friendly staff.

Great place great people!

very fun great ice cream and wonderful staff

All of the games were rigged I would have given this no stars it is tiny and it just sucks

Great arcade to spend your time! Something for everyone.

Small arcade and all games are wildly overpriced.

Steep price for an arcade

Cool place! However, we paid $10 for 200 points, played 160 of them, tried another game, and then it said we were at 0 points. We went back to the kiosk and saw they charge 40 points when you get a new card. It said that in really small print when you went to purchase, so it kinda felt like a scam. There should be a more prominent sign posted about that. Overall, cool atmosphere, but playing there is pricey as each game is a minimum of 35 points.

cool place with good shakes and fun games!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
