Me and my husband moved recently and it's a 60 mile ride now. But when we visit my parents in Bonita we always stop by . They are like 9lf friends. Nice staff and very clean environment. So time wise we never have long. A few weeks before Christmas we stopped in. Only had about 45 minutes before we were do for dinner at my parents. I hit the major and on the same bonus got 2 minors and 3 minis. All total $900. My husband said stick another $20 in there before we leave, I couldn't believe it another $400.00
We have been to quite a few similar arcades. Athens is superior in every way. The staff are wonderful. They are friendly and accommodating. They make us feel like family when we stop in. It is a warm and exciting atmosphere. Thank you to everyone at Athens. See you soon!! Ron and Melanie
Very nice place. Staff was kind and welcoming. Lots of slots to play!
Love the cool atmosphere very clean and spacious. The attendant Donna was amazing. Friendly, fun and an absolute joy to be around. Plus I won a few bucks
You cannot win here they do not give vouchers for what you have won. You can only cash out if you have won $40.00. They do not match $20.00 for &20.0 like other better arcades. Go and lose your money here! Awful!
Fun place to be !! Very clean !! Good ambiance!! They offer snacks and sodas , water and daily specials !! Judy and her Crew are very friendly and courteous plus they opened until 12 midnight!!! I strongly recommend this place!!!
It was better before it reopened, they took a lot of my favorite slots away and they changed the staff the new people are alright but judy and robin were athens in my opinion.
Athens arcade its my husband and my place to go Judi is always very attentive with us she's amazing host and they have great food the place is nice and clean.
It's a very nice place to play lots of fun great games and nice people
Seems to have a real low RTP
Went in and had a very good experience. Judith had the best customer service and was very friendly.
The women that work there are absolutely amazing the service you get is like no other .
Awesome games and an even better staff!! Love Athens!!!!!
Very friendly environment
(Translated by Google) I have been a frequent customer and from one day to the next they told me that I could not play anymore because I had won money, but they do not see what I had spent, meaning that I am still losing. I warn all my colleagues about the bad experience there, supposedly that is a casino to pay. They cannot see that you win because they vote for you. It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
