Gonna say this place is wonderful. Two levels of gaming & arcade space for friends & family. Kid friendly for those with littles.

This is our favorite place to visit as a family. It has games we all love, one kid loves classic pinball while the other likes console games. The place feels endless and huge. Compared to the downtown pinball museum it is a bargain. I tell all of our friends visiting town to bring their kids here. It's an amazing place and an even better value for the entry fee.

This place is so fun! You can get some great drinks (non-alcoholic too) and enjoy a lot of fun games. It's a chill, laid back atmosphere for adults and kids. Just a great place to have a good time.

This place is amazing! Not only is it affordable, so are the food and drinks. My kids had a blast here and I will definitely be taking them back!

Aaron at the front was a gem, bar tender was also on point! (didnt get his name) love the atmosphere and variety of games, though the DDR machine is wayy too low volume. I understand wanting to keep the main music playing louder but has to be turned up a bit almost impossible to play! Hopefully when i come back the owner will allow for the machine to be turned up a bit. The main bar music is so loud turning up machine would not effect!

Definitely my favorite spot to chill and play pinball/arcade for the day. $10 is amazing since you get all day play for that! They also allow outside food to be delivered which is great as well. Love Cirqus Voltaire and hope they keep it there!

We had such a blast at this spot! Kicked off our bachelor getaway here since my buddies were keen on diving into some video games or bar games and savoring exceptional beers. I just can't keep going here. I have a lot of fond memories of this place, but now it's such a bust. Clearly this place is just a bar, not a retro arcade. I don't know who's idea it was to swap out all the CRT screens for the wrong ratio, laggy LCD panels; but nearly every classic machine in the whole place has been totally destroyed and isn't worth playing. What a cool little spot! $10 at the door gets you free play on what must be 100+ machines. Two floors of arcade games. From pinball machines to classic 80s and 90s arcades to racing and shooting games. They also have a pool table and air hockey. They serve beer on tap and have some food options. Had a really good time at the Asheville retrocade. It was late but they stayed open and accommodated us allowing me to play pinball on just about any machine they had. They have killer Queen which is a fun game for a whole bunch of people to play. Make sure you visit downstairs because there's lots of other games and skee ball. We had so much fun here! For $10, you get unlimited play on all the games. It's super fun trying out all the different pinball machines. We especially enjoyed playing mario kart on the TV while sipping on mimosas at the bar. Very limited menu, but good snacking options! Will definitely be back

The service was on point. My beer was spilled on accident and I got another immediately. I asked to put my bag behind the bar and they kindly did it. The games were fun and I had a blast playing all the pinball. Especially Rick and Morty lol. Y?all are killing the game keep it up.

Incredibly fun! We spent 6 hours here and could have easily spent longer if we didn't need to head home! I went here with my teenage son and we had a good time playing some of the arcade games many of which are geared towards playing with or against other people. They do have a limited menu of food but it was mostly the type of food you would get at a carnival. The servers were friendly. It's worth going to check out and enjoy yourself.

Went on a whim during a rainy day and really enjoyed this place. It was crowded but we didn't have to wait long for any games and the price was affordable. I totally lost track of time because we having such a great time there. I loved all the old school games!

We love this place! We had been coming here for years, but moved away and had kids. We recently visited again and were able to bring both of our kids with us. They had a blast!! They ask us all the time if we can go back there!

Great place to play games. However the worst service I encountered my entire visit to Asheville. The bartender cooked 2 separate pizzas and then a corn dog with his back turned to the bar guests just watching the oven count down instead of helping patrons. We stood there for over 10 minutes without even a hello. He was constantly on his phone, he couldn't even put it down while he was running our cards. Very unprofessional.

Pay one price pinball and 80's video games. Has a bar, which is cool. Some of the pinball machines were "stuck", in other words, the active ball got jammed somewhere on the play field. There were no technicians around that I saw to have them fix it.

Wonderful atmosphere and awesome people. The whole place was so chill and laid back. Folks playing video games on the TVs, pinball tournament going downstairs, and the bar even gave out free drink tickets just because. My family had an amazing time here. We spent 3 hours playing games. Our favorite games were Skee Ball, Mario Kart, Dr. Mario, Q-Bert, and PAC Man.

On date nights sometimes my husband and I will go here. Definitely a good atmosphere, we really enjoy all the games they have to offer both upstairs and downstairs.

One of the better barcades that I've been to. You pay a flat fee and get access to all of the games. There's an upstairs, and a downstairs with a lot of variety. Several games are multi-player which was perfect for the group of 4 we had. All of the workers were very nice and helpful. You can also order drinks at the bar (beer, wine and liquor - pay as you go).

So much fun, a blast from the past! 10.00 for unlimited play all day, you get an armband and can come and go. Food and beer and wine. Play games or just hang out. Masks required. The only downside to this location is the lack of parking options. The only parking is whatever you can find on the main road.

We liked this arcade! You pay $10 to play all day (you get wristbands in case you want to leave and come back.) This had some great games to play. The drawback is there is loud background music along with the individual noise from some of the games so it can be overstimulating for some.

Not the best barcade I've been to, but probably the best one in Asheville. Loved the Initial D game. But a Japanese rhythm game or 2 wouldn't go amiss.

They have a great selection of about 15 or so mostly current games. The few Classics that they have were excellent choices and for their age and reasonably good condition. It's a little small and a little bit noisy but kind of unavoidable in an arcade environment. Went on a Wednesday afternoon, the place was fairly full but didn't have any trouble getting to play games.

truly excellent 80s style retro arcade. you can tell the owner really takes pride in the small details. they have rare and classic games and you get to play all of them for one price. they also keep tabs on capacity so it doesn't get overly crowded. that being said expect there to be a minor weight if you come during a busy period. it won't take long though.

I took my kids here for the first time today and we all loved it. It was crowded and hot but totally worth it. So many fun games. We didn't get any drinks or food but you really can't beat hours of old school game fun for $10 a head. The pinball machines were my favorite. I also like that the patio areas were roomy and easy to access when you need to step out for a breather or a smoke.

my favorite place to take my son to hangout. Unlimited play, he can run around and play the arcade games or the console games on one of the tvs behind the bar while I play pinball. It's nice because they stay open so late, and I like that it is kid-free after 9pm.

Those man work in the bar was nice but the mock tail that my girlfriend and I got absolutely tasted like toxic water. It was terrible half the games are trashed so you're basically paying $10 for nothing per person literally half the games that would be fun do not work do not go there. Do not waste your money. I mean if I was an alcoholic and drunk, it might would?ve been an OK experience but as a sober couple of my girlfriend and I did not enjoy the experience I felt like it was a complete waste of money.

Great experience but a couple issues with the pinball machines. It was super fun, super loud and like walking back into 1980. It was amazing seeing all the kids listening to music from 1980s and just excited about everything from playing switch to air hockey. I had a lot of fun playing with all the different games and all the pinball machines. Its tight quarters and there were a suprising number of unsupervised minors running around. It was a lot more enjoyable after a lot of the kids cleared out. My only real issue was finding parking. I didn't see anything on the website for suggested parking, and not being from the area I had some trouble finding a spot.

This place was great! All you can play games for $10! Wish I had one closer to home! They had all the old school and some of the new school. They had a wide variety of beverages and they are fairly priced. I will definitely visit this place every time I'm in Asheville!

Great place. All you can play for $10. Games were enjoyable. A few suggestions. Get a Ninja Air Fryer for your food instead of using a microwave. You'll get better consistency and the food will taste better. Also, have someone wipe down and clean all the machines about every half an hour. It'll give people more ease of mind and keep things cleaner. A nice place to hang out.

We've stopped here every time we're in town. Our kids love the game selection even though some of these games are four decades older than they are, and the nostalgia for me hooks me right away. Beer selection is great, and the prices aren't bad at all for everything. My kids can burn through as many games as they want, and there's an air hockey table downstairs!

Who doesn't love playing arcade games? Some old, some new, some a little janky, but most in great shape. $10pp is totally fair for what most likely will be a couple hours of fun. They also have a varied selection of drinks and a few snacks to hold you over till your next meal. Odds cafe and Asheville Sandwich are on either side of the arcade, so fuel up and get back at it quick.

Fun place for sure! $10 for all day play makes it a great place to take kids on a rainy day. Decent selection of games. Only suggestion I'd have is to try and figure out more chairs/tables for parents who aren't playing just paying for kids to play. Also, there is zero wifi/cell phone reception in their downstairs so just a heads up.

My son took me here for my birthday and we weren't told that in under an hour and a half it was switching to 21 and up. If this was my only experience here, my rating would be 1 star. Unfortunately, it was his first experience there and since he paid he has no desire to go back.

Never even made it inside this place. Drove to Asheville just to check it out. As we arrived we noticed it was in a tiny little storefront building no way they can fit many people inside without everyone running into each other and we drove around in circles for 15 minutes trying to find a place to park. We called the store 4 times with no answer and voice mail box full to ask where the customers park. We find a place down the street but parking is $13 and limited to 3 hours.
