Arrowhead Lanes

We played 1 game and it was 75 dollars. The game froze 4 or 5 times so it took us like 2 hours to play 1 game. Then we couldn't use a green bowling ball because it was just for kids. I couldn't bowl with the kids because there land had bumpers. If I paid 75 dollars I should be able to do what I want. It was very micromanaged. Very disappointing

Went there to play mini golf. It was really great. I can't believe we waited so long to go there. The grandkids were very impressed as well and that is what matters to me. We'll be back when we get the kids next month.

I was surprised with the black light mini-golf. It was cool. My family and I really enjoyed it. The staff was nice. The only downside was that a couple of the games in the "arcade" area were broken/didn't allow regular play. For example, one of the claw machines had something broken above the track, so you couldn't mice it very far to the right. Overall, it was neat. Might try bowling next time.

This is a very old location in a bad area of champaign. I was there 3 times and each time multiple gun shots heard outside. I don't feel safe here. Sorry just being honest.

The old ass woman was rude they charge 55 plus for an hour and didn't even let us finish 1 game they scam you out your money and it smelled so foul in there we will never go back again

Bowling lane broke down multiple times. Switched lanes, broke again. Asked to mini golf instead and the owner told me to kick rocks and thanks for my donation. Safe to say, I'm never coming back to this classless establishment EVER again..

It's a good, older bowling alley. It's well maintained and loved by the staff. I only think the place is a little too big for the number of staff they have. Not everything is going to be attended to, so you have to be patient if you want the full experience. I agree with a lot of the other reviews with the price and heaviness of the balls. If you want long term fun at this location, I would recommend having your preferred gear brought to the site. It's what all the regulars do.

Tried calling to reserve a spot for 11pm and the guy there told us we couldn't because it closes in an hour then hung up on me after. They also lock the doors an hour early so no one can get in. Would rate lower if I could.

So much to do at Arrowhead Lanes. Bowling lanes and equipment are top notch and maintained very well. They have a wide variety of video games along with a well stocked and organized snack bar area, and a full bar with pool tables and also gambling machines. I have personally met the owner and know that he really cares about your experience at Arrowhead Lanes. Forgot to mention they have moonlight/black light putt putt golf, which is very cool.

This bowling alley is amazing. It's been so much fun going there! This is definitely a place that is worth checking out!

It's an okay place to bowl. $50 an hour covers 6 people with shoes... not bad at all. The service, however, can use some improvement. The owner is not always nice. She's a grumpy lady and takes it out on the very people who are spending money at her establishment. There is a cash bar, but you have to wait forever for overpriced drinks.

Went here for my sister's bachelorette party and had a great time! Everything was very clean and our service was great.

I really enjoy bowling at Arrowhead and Western. The staff are friendly and helpful. Equipment from the Pro Shop is competitively priced, and Dave Bolt is very knowledgeable, whether it be to help choose the correct equipment or give advice on your game. For 2024, they have an unbeatable Summer Pass, and the short season leagues are a lot of fun. Cosmic Bowling is always a great time, with good music and fun under the black lights! I highly recommend checking out both Arrowhead Lanes and Western Bowl!

1. They don't have a good variety of balls. Our lane only had the super heavy 13-14 numbered balls. 2. They didn't have correct size shoe. 3. The staff was unhelpful ans unfriendly. 4. The machine is also, the balls come back after a long wait (4-5 shots). Overall a bad experience for the price paid. Never coming back here again. Our first experience. We loved the indoor glow in the dark put put! The only issue we had was hole 8 is just a ramp with a hole at the top that drops the ball to lower level. You can't really see the hole while putting.

this place is so bad it's getting my only review ever. went here with 4 friends and you pay to bowl by half hour/hour instead of by game. It costed us $70 to bowl one and a half games. half the arcade games are broke and most of the balls are chipped. about 5 people complained about something being wrong with their lane or the ball return as we arrived. anyone rating this above 2 is blinded by nostalgia

Honestly I hate to leave anyone a bad review but there were just too many issues to ignore. For one, we lost one lane we reserved out of nowhere. And there were such long lines to just get shoes we ended up sharing with each other or wearing socks for awhile just to play. Also there was only one guy (I felt so sorry for him!) working in both the bar and making pizzas. Prices for both were a bit too steep, and at one point they ran out of trays and pitchers so one of the ladies working was scrambling to run

Came in to bowl when a different place was full and WOW. Drew and Elisa were amazing!! Drew explained so much to us beginners, and even got us to join a beginners league. We love coming to Arrowhead lanes.

The 2 elder ladies are very rude. The 1 guy who works the bar and the food area . Can't keep up. The bowling ball are mostly chipped and it needs an update badly. Cosmic bowling during the night is about the only thing that's cool but. You don't want to pay money just for the lights.

The pit is functional and the bowling it decent but it is not very clean at all. I saw ants on the snack bar table. I don't have much to say about the snack bar as after that incident I didn't eat anything from it. The bathrooms were pretty gross too. The lanes are in great condition and always oiled well. This bowling alley is very old and has been around a long time. It definitely not the most up to date except for the lanes. Have a little patience as they seem to be a little under staffed. Bowling prices are very fair. The restrooms definitely need remodeling and the snackbar, bar, and mini golf could definitely use some help also. I go mainly for bowling and appreciate the well kept lanes.

The place has absolutely rude employees. We asked them a couple of time for lighter weight balls - They told us to find one yourself, with indifference. From the moment you walk in, this place smells so dirty. We still pushed through it and went ahead and got a lane to bowl. We had 4 adults and 2 children. The elderly lady (who was so unprofessional, very aggressive and spoke loudly) proceeded to explain that children and adults can not bowl together so we would we need to get two lanes, ?no problem? we said and paid her the $41 she required for two lanes. Came here for a small work get together and we had a blast. The people in the alley (both customers and workers) were super friendly and social with us. We had a fun time and we played a couple of games and had a couple drinks at the bar too! I like the system they have for keeping track of the scores it is pretty fun.

Badly malfunctioning and over oiled lanes, awful food, everything overpriced, rude staff. Kids got ripped off by the quarter machines, but i just wanted to get out of there. Just a horrible experience.

We played miniature golf. The balls were hard to distinguish. They were all white with some kind of minor paint splatter to tell them apart. The clubs were dirty. It took us about 10 minutes or longer standing at the desk to get waited on. It was $53 for the 4 of us and the course is small. The place is run down and over priced.

So disappointed. $32.00 for 2 adults and one child to play a round of mini golf. Course is covered in graffiti. Ramps are broken. No place to put score cards. Downright eerie being back there unattended with no sounds or music or anything. They do not appear to serve food anymore. Their game room is just a bunch of non-games where you slide tokens around. Prize machine ate tickets without giving us credit for them. They need to give up and sell the place if they're not going to maintain or staff it.

Decent lanes, not usually a wait even on Friday nights. Not a great ball selection, so you usually have to go with a ball that's out of your comfort zone. Good specials, though you have to ask for them. If your group could get the same thing at a cheaper price, they won't actually tell you that. They'll let you pay the higher price and you'll notice later that a combo or special would have made it cheaper. Not great, not horrible, so I have it a 3 star rating.

I paid for 30 minutes and the number I was on got stuck in the machine for about 15 minutes and they told me they were only going to add 5 minutes, very bad service and the lady was arrogant.

Was there for a tournament. This is an older building and a bit small. There's no handicap parking. There's an old handicap ramp that is crumbling at the bottom. There is nothing remotely resembling a handicap accessible bathroom stall in the women's restroom that I entered. As a person recovering from surgery, I found those issues the most important.

The staff is nice and I loved the black light mini golf. Only complaint would be about other customers who were disrespectful. They left beer bottles and trash on the course and their kids would plow through the course without letting other groups of people go first. Mini golf is the worst I've seen. It's hot. Stuffy /mildew smell. Hole 8 is filled in? Most black lights are old and barely working. On top of all that, it's freaking $13 for 18! The bowling area is well kept, but the rest of the facility is rather shabby. I attended a party there, and the service was slow. The staff were nice, but there weren't enough of them. The pizza is nothing special, but it is edible at least. Overall, a "meh" experience.

Spent $240 on 3 lanes for a birthday party and was glared at the entire time by Staff and league?s. Poor service, lady kept snacking and walking around the place making it difficult to find her. Overpriced for both bowling and mini golf. Mini Golf unattended, very creepy. My wife hurt herself twice while we were playing the game, be careful on broken obstacles. Their balls were extremely heavy. You had to sanitize your own stations and even the balls you used. Save your time and money!!!!

We were there around 2 in the afternoon, we were there by ourselves. This made it nice since we hadn't bowled in about 17 years (no one got to see how bad we are!). The manager was very nice and helpful. It was a good time!

Went on a Sunday afternoon. It was dead but took a few minutes before we were helped. Did the indoor minigolf and it was awkwardly quiet. The walls are covered in tags. About 1/4 of the blacklights were burnt out and some of the obstacles for the ball didn't have anything glowing so my date and I tripped on more than one as we followed the ball. Poor experience.

Bowling was great! But the service sucked. There was one man working the entire evening shift. We ordered pizza when we arrived he could not make it because large groups came in he had to assist. It was okay but the ball return didn't work very well a lot of wait time or from between walking back n forth to the counter to tell the attendees that the ball was stuck again or had to keep clearing the pins for a new reset. It was a hassle to pay $50 for my 2 kids and I to bowl 2 games.

I love Arrowheads! Not only can you bowl, you can play arcades or putt putt golf in the dark! How fun is that? Plus, they have the best food! Like to shoot pool? Called and got static and then they hung up. I literally heard them pick up an then hang up. So I called back and a very rude lady informed me if I call and don't say anything she's hanging up, so I told her oh I'm sorry I was saying things but couldn't hear a reply and then they hung up, and then I asked if they had open bowling and she hung up AGAIN, now she's answering and hanging up immediately

Me and friends went. Lanes were cool and affordable and it was fun, but food took forever because they've only got one worker. That's not right. And the food is overpriced.

The mini golf is overpriced and it isn't even fun. There was a wad of chewed gum by the putters,and he walls are wrtiiem all over. Horribly over priced, tripping hazards everywhere, very creepy and not fun to do. Absolutely on no circumstances recommend. Couldn't even make my 5 year old happy

Suppose to close at 11pm on Saturday, but when I called on, October 21, 2023, they said they closed at 10pm. There times are never not up-to-date online. It is a major inconvenience.

The entire theme of this place is racist. There is weird and appropriative faux Native American designs on the walls, and the bathrooms are labeled ?braves? and ?squaws? which are overtly racist names. I love arrowhead lanes. I really appreciate the workers. I go bowling very often. I love that they love bowling as much as I do. I bought my bowling ball from arrowhead and I will return to buy again. I think that the building needs to be renovated, however. :)
