definitely my favorite local arcade. the staff is some of the friendliest I've ever seen, people you can actually converse with and talk to like a friend. The atmosphere is amazing, and the selection of games is great. The best arcade to play Chunithm at, as it runs an online version of Sun Plus. Plus, they have a cat that walks around the arcade and is extremely friendly :)
Cool addition to Spring Garden Street from the folx who brought you the Lost Ark Video Games next door! Cool vibe and great selection of games. Love the pay one price and play all day model, although that's tricky if you are the one in the group (me LOL) who plays a bit less.
Arcadia Manor is awesome. Every other Sunday me and my son meet up with friends to play fighting games, particularly street fighter 3 third strike. Dan the owner is a great guy and is always making the place better.
Best arcade in North Carolina. Trims the fat that plagues most arcades; ticket winner/redemption games & Raw Thrills crap. I find a new game to get addicted to every time I visit, well worth the hour drive for me. Play It Loud!!!
Very cool arcade! Two stories of freeplay heaven. For rhythm gamers, their Chunithm is running Sun with a brand new 120hz display. Worth checking out for that alone, imo (far better Chunithm experience than that corporate chain down the road). A tad bit more expensive to enter than the original, but worth it for the expansive selection of games and the unique gothic atmosphere.
Home to the most exA-Arcadia games in the entire country, the biggest library of shmups on the east coast, a dazzling selection of pinball with the latest machines, and the ONLY place you can play fighting game stalwarts like 3rd Strike, Vampire Savior and Super Turbo on a Versus City dedicated two-player cabinet. What you won't find: - Boring Dave & Busters big screen rip-offs - Ticket machines designed to take your money - Broken Hydro Thunders - Greasy buttons What you will find: - A hyper-curated look
They had some awesome rad video games and three pleasant atmosphere.
So glad to see the arcade get it's own building! I drive all the way from Roanoke to play here and it's well worth the trip, the selection is so unique and quality. The atmosphere is great too, love the decorations and theme
Fantastic selection of pinball machines and cabinet games. Went on a Saturday afternoon and the atmosphere was top notch. The owners really went all out for the ambiance and theme, you can tell they put their heart in it. We'll be back for sure.
incredibly curated selection of arcade games with a wide selection of genres fill every wall of Arcadia Manor. the first floor has many import Japanese arcade games you just don't see anywhere else as well as bunch of candy cabs and pinball machines upstairs with a north American gems mixed in. It is a must stop in Greensboro and we will be back!
What a vibe as soon as you walk in the door. Half modern day arcade, half victorian home. The Lost Ark staff has really outdone themselves here. House kitty to boot, sign me up.
A unique vibe coupled with a variety of great machines, from pinball to weird Japanese rhythm games. Lost Ark Video Games has always been an expert at this kinda stuff, so to see them expand in a new space is exciting.
This place rules, the entry fee buys you unlimited play on all the machines, the pinball tables are crazy fun, and there's tons of machines that can only be found here in the entire U.S.
My wife and I had such a great Sunday afternoon playing games here! So happy to see the Pinball is back! Long Live Arcadia Manor!
Great New Expansion From Lost Ark! A lot fun games and a good crowd! Pinball is Back! Check them out!
the minute I walked in the cutest cat greeted me lol :) but the selection of games took me for a ride! great selection of games definitely coming back
Awesome versus shooting game that was the only working one in America!
My favorite arcade and you gatta love the arcade cat Lady ??
A hidden gem becomes an established treasure.
The place is super cozy and the game lineup is excellent! Definitely recommend going.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
