Customer Reviews

Great selection of games. Fair drink prices, and they let doggos in! Saw a couple of good boys there! A couple of games didn't work right and a couple were out of order. No big deal, this place is cool.

Great open air spot back in a neighborhood and business park. Food truck, bar with alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. Good for kids. Great pinball and a few video games.

Old school bar with a good number of pinball machines upstairs above Yellow Brick Pizza in Olde Towne East. Good selection of pinball games reasonably priced and decent beer selection - very enjoyable!

Great place for pinball. Lots of tournaments and free play events happening. Good bar and beer selection and amazing pizza from yellow brick downstairs. The stairs to get up to the arcade are pretty steep and there are a lot of them. They have a great variety of pinball machines and a couple of classic arcade cabinets as well as killer queen.

Best pinball arcade I've ever been to. They have 18 pins, all are well maintained (I've never seen one broken). The bar has a good selection of beer and the pizza place down stairs is awesome. Order a pizza and they'll bring it up for you to enjoy.

The arcade was indeed super awesome. I went to a pinball tourney here and had a great time. They have around 20 pinball machines here. All were in great shape. They only had 3 arcade games so it's more of a pinball joint. They did have a full bar and several great beers on tap. Downstairs is yellow brick pizza which is also very good.

Great selection of pinball machines, all in great shape and any issues are addressed immediately. Set to win matches regularly. The arcade is upstairs, with its own bar. For a handful of drinks you might have to pop back downstairs to the main bar. There is a change machine on site. Other patrons are very nice. The only negatives I can see are that the upper level for the arcade is not handicap accessible because of the stairs, and the arcade is closed a couple of days a week. I love this place. The restaur

Great variety of games and a very laid back atmosphere. Nice lighting too and isn't too loud. I wasn't expected to buy anything or be 21 to enter like some other places. Games were well maintained and nice variety. They have new games like ac/dc and games from Jersey Jack as well as the popular classics like twilight zone, Adams family, and red and Ted road show. After 9:00 PM you do need accompanied by an adult if under 16. They have a convenient change machine and a few games like Pacman. A must vi

This place lives up to its name! I brought my 10 year old son here to check out retro pinball and the prices per play were excellent, and we had a blast. Whenever the machines ate a quarter, the problem was cheerfully fixed by the staff. Thanks for an awesome afternoon, we will be back!

Not too awesome in what I was looking for. Definitely not free, all games must be paid for with cash or coins. Was looking to enjoy some drinks along with some free arcade games. There wasn't too many arcade type gaming only pinball machines, there are maybe 1 or 2 arcade style multiplayer games, the rest are pinball. It's also hard to notice from the street, you enter through the Mello Mushroom entrance, not sure if they are connected or not, but the arcade part is upstairs. Definitely wasn't for me. I did

Nice craft beer choices on tap. Pinball w/ a few classics. The big draw here is Killer Queen, a 10 player collaborative strategy game. The most random fun I've had with strangers on a Friday night!

Overall it was a pretty fun place. I was hoping for more arcade games, while they had primarily pinball machines, but it was still a lot of fun. We met the owner of the place and he was really nice. It was very clean and everything was well-maintained.

This place is a cheap fun way to spend your afternoon! The pinball machines are in great condition and the atmosphere is fun and laid back. The only negatives is the parking is really scarce and the actually space can be quite small.

Great pinball games. Some more expensive than other locations in town. Bar staff is super chill. Recommend checking out if you are into pinball.

They USED to be home to the best arcade cabinet I've ever played. Keyword: used. They have moved locations to a much worse area and trashed the ONE CABINET that made this place a showstopper and stand out from the competition. It's no longer nearly as good as it was. It's inside what's basically a warehouse that made one of my friends say "I'm probably dying back here" and half of the cabinets are gone. Just don't come here anymore.

Went right when they opened at 4pm. I don't drink, had pop. Tons of pinball machines. Kong, Mario, MsPac and Galaga. Killer queen looked cool, did not play. Very friendly, we will be going back!

Please change your posted online Sat hours. I came from out of town and was here at 11:30a and learned you don't open till 4p. Fortunately the bar was open and I had a good beer. The bar itself was nice to.

I went because my boyfriend likes it. It's not bad but it doesn't have a huge variety of games besides pinball and if there is a league it's crowded and difficult to play

If you shower daily and don't have your hair in a man bun, this place probably isn't for you. Nice pinball selection though. Try the pizza downstairs.

I went to Arcade Super Awesome specifically to play pinball. They deliver on that. Only reason it is not 5 stars is because the music was way too loud to hear the games very well.

Fantastic place to get in a game of pinball or scratch that old school itch for some nostalgic games of your childhood. And if you haven't tried out Killer Queen then you're missing out! You gotta come give this place a try.

I love Arcade Super Awesome! A pinball paradise attached to Sideswipe Brewery. Have a beer and play some pins! Arcade cabinets, too! What can I say? It is Super Awesome!

The arcade is amazing, I go there almost every Wednesday. Great bar service. Has 10 player arcade game called killer queens.

Almost entirely pinball games here with 4 other stand-up arcades. The real attraction is a 10 person player instance of Killer Queen.

Good place for Pinball, quite a few machines, but atmosphere was a bit weird, lot of kids were there at the time.

Best place to play pinball in Columbus. All machines are in great shape. Great pizza downstairs too.

Love everything about this place, from the games they have to the visual aesthetic. Feel I was transported into an idealized version of what an arcade would have been like in the 1980s. Love it.

The place is truly super awesome. 16 pinball machines with all the latest Sterns!

Cool arcade with mostly pinball machines They also have a game called Killer Queen which is great.

It was super awesome! They have a nice lineup of pins

Great selection of games. Always a great place to spend some pinball coin.

Great lil Arcade, and yellow brick downs stairs is awesome as well. Perfect change of pace.

If you like pinball games, this is the place for you. If you're into video games like me then you'll be disappointed.

Pinball machines next to craft beer. Wonderful!

Drove all the way there and find out they closed a week ago. Would have been nice to know

Tons of pinball machines something that the other arcade bars in the area are lacking.

Excellent machines great atmosphere, pizza, beer, it has it all

Sucks there never open and i live nearbye also charge to much for pinball

Great pinball machines, good beer

The hours have changed on Saturdays they are now open at 4pm instead of 11am

If you take your pinball seriously or if you're looking for Killer Queens, this is the spot.

Great food, great pinball, better price

Play killer queen. Best arcade game ever

Great pinball selection!

Great place for pinball

I called to ask a simple question, and was hung up on mid-sentence.

Great place for food and fun.

Only has pinball machines

This is my happy place.

Killer queen. Enough said

This place is the best!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
