Customer Reviews

When into this place to play initial d and they had cards ready to buy and for maximum tune cards ready for you to enjoy. Met a bunch of cool people and always good vibes. I brought my 9 year old and nothing but a good time! Highly recommend

I am really glad this arcade is around. I don't have to drive out of town to a Round 1 anymore! This local and family owned business has built a great community! Everyone including regular customers helps out, whether it would be organizing tournaments or even fixing the machines. Not many businesses in Stockton has a community like this. Let's keep this arcade up and running for a long time!

I've come to this arcade a few times now?mostly because some friends were entering fighting game tournaments. Me and a buddy joined in three times before I figured I should finally leave a review. the parking sucks. Big potholes, and during the rain I hit one so hard I thought my tire was done for. And yeah? it's Stockton. Every time I've gone, there's been some weird stuff going on outside. Not exactly the safest-feeling place. Inside, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The community feels tight-knit, but also k

I'm really excited to see a new arcade pop up in Stockton, helmed by an experienced local who knows his craft well and dedicates all his time, energy, and effort into making it happen. Seeing this place grow and evolve ever since opening has been incredible, as the owner has been doing an excellent job of incorporating community feedback and keeping things fresh. There's a nice balance between the classic and newer games available to play, and it's fun to be able to go around and dabble in all the genres av

Kinda nostalgic. Fun games. Competitive gaming. Ddr, instrumental games like guitar, piano, drum, initial d and others. Crane games. Plenty to do without a long drive and over spending

Very rare to see such a well maintained arcade, with a very tasteful collection full of hidden gems. Recommend to anyone for a place of entertainment. Support this small local business.

Been coming here every Saturday that I can since I found out about them a couple of weeks ago. Been having a TON of fun playing the arcade games that I did back in high school like Initial D, Street Fighter, and Guitar Freaks! There's nothing like putting a quarter in a machine and going head-to-head with someone else or joining in on the fun. An absolute blast and a place I'll continue to support!

Got 0-2'd in a tekken 8 tournament... And I'll do it again!! Great people, awesome variery of games and good atmosphere!

This place has a good amount of very fun games. A wide range of shooting, racing, fighting and dancing. There's something for everyone here. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 is because it's very dusty like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile and the bathroom was especially dirty. Not a good look.

Wonderful little arcade hidden in an old strip mall. They have a large variety of Rhythm games, including "Nostalgia", which I've only seen in Japan!b(DDR and others) Racing games were fun too, as I'm an Initial D fan (they have 3rd stage), even if I'm not very good. They even have new licenses to buy! Check their Instagram for events, such as $10 free play days! All in all, whenever I am in Lodi or North Stockton, I'll have to give them another visit.

When I heard from a friend that there's a new arcade opening up in Stockton, I had to check it out. Their grand opening was nothing short of amazing! The fact they have an Initial D Ver 3 machine literally made my day. It legit gave me 2005 nostalgia and that in my book deserves 5 stars!!!!! The fact that Owner of the shop took the time to talk to me about his business is a huge plus in my books. I have a feeling that I'll be a frequent visitor here!!!! ??

Arcade Replay - North Location This arcade holds a special place in my heart, as it brings back cherished childhood memories early 2000s. Upon discovering they had an Initial D Ver 3 Arcade machine, I made it my mission to visit. I learned about this arcade through a friend's Instagram post advertising an Initial D Ver 3 Tournament. Coming from Tracy, I searched for "Arcade Replay" on Google and was directed to the South location. However, upon arrival, I couldn't find the Initial D machine anywhere. Fee

I fell in love with that place after my first visit . It Brought back my childhood memories . Tons of cool arcade games especially mortal combat and street fighter was my favorite. They got pool table . Customer service is awesome and prices are reasonable. Will be returning back.

Awesome staff, awesome atmosphere, TOs are on point and actual parking. Better than Guildhouse lol. Anyways, this place is sick and so worth the drive from the Bay.

Great time here, the owner is very welcoming! All of the machines are in good condition and I appreciated the DDR/PIU machine. Feels like being in middle school again at this arcade!

Brought my 14-year-old son here for the first time last week (8/30/24) and he was excited and looking forward to playing Initial D. He loved it. He also enjoyed playing the rhythm games as well. He loved it so much that we went back the following day. It's such a great thing to see kids out an arcade playing old school arcade games, congregating with kids of similar interests, and supporting a local business. This arcade is awesome! Very nostalgic of my teenage years, and I'm glad my son gets to experie

Sammy here, so glad there's an uptown location. Been binging Galaga and pool with friends and family. Convenient snacks and drinks. Really good prices. Honestly loving it already.

Great place always enjoy myself time at this arcade definitely recommend! Great selection of games owners are super nice!

Took my son for his birthday and before we could even leave he was begging to come back the next day. Staff was GREAT! Very friendly and helpfull. The place itself is nice and clean and it is kid friendly. Just an overall awesome experience that won't cost an arm and leg. And THEY HAVE TEKKEN!

This place is awesome!! Make sure to bring plenty of quarters! Will be coming back soon.

This place is cool and fun. Just pay the ten and have some all day fun. ????

Love it! It's been a while since we had an arcade!! Great set up!! Fighting games, racers and shooters!!

The arcade also has a selection of games that I grew up playing as a kid - fighting games, racing games, shooting games, rhythm games, and billiards (among others). The prices are also really competitive at 25-50% less than what I would expect elsewhere. This new arcade is an extension of the location at the El Dorado Flea Market down in South Stockton, so if you're a fan of that location, you can have the same experience with even more space to move around freely. In the 10+ years I've known the arcade o

For OG Stocktonians that miss Golfland or Whimsy this place is for you! Classic fighting games from MvC2 to CvS2. You can race your friends on the Initial D and Wangan 3DX+ machines. An eclectic amount of rhythm games that include DDR and IIDX. If arcade games aren't your thing, there's also pool, air hockey and basketball. It's the perfect place to have fun!

Lots of games and at a cheap price! Rhythm and fighting games galore!

Awesome arcade, mix of a new dance and rhythm-game heaven, and a 90's era fighting- and racing-game stomping ground. I'm super interested in the local FGC cropping up here - there are tons of racing cabs as far back as Initial D, and tons of different fighting game cabs - from MvC2, 3rd Strike and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom to modern cabs like SF6 and Tekken 8. Currently a really hot Tekken 8 scene, dozens of us gather on Friday nights to rotate through the 2 cabs for it there, and there's even a room for us to

I love this place my wife has to drag me out very affordable game plays And the best part. There is always cards available If you know you know. A lot of parking and. I always feel welcomed with this community

An awesome local location for an arcade. They had various games and my favorites are Intial D v.3 and DDR. The community of gamers is what I come for. I've been driving out of town just to play Initial D so this arcade is a blessing.

Great variety of games you can't find in most places, and great staff. Good place to hang out and play games without worrying too much.

So much fun great princess great snacks and great vibes had a blast there

Amazing arcade with a great balance of old fighters, new rhythm, classic racing, and more! Easily the best arcade in Stockton

Great family gaming area

(Translated by Google) It was absolutely crazy. I never expected to see old games I'd been looking for for a long time. It was a unique experience. 10/10 recommended. (I recommend bringing quarters, a bunch of them, about $10 to have fun with.)

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
