Customer Reviews

This arcade is always be my to go place for arcade games and delicious ramune with all kinds of flavors! This is a great place to visit with an affordable price to restock your digital coins up to $20! They have excellent games such as the Dragon Ball, Initial D, the popularity channel mini games arcade, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Classic Mario Kart, and many more! It's also a great place for kids to play, but check the content behind arcade games appropriate for kids to play! The employees are very fri

This arcade is a kind of a dream come true for every retro gaming fan. Super rare machines you will hardly find somewhere else. The pricing is absolutely fair and the owner (?) was very polite explaining how for example the versus modes can be used. Would definitely revisit on a next Florida trip.

Arcade is a local gem. Gives me a throwback feel. Very cool. Only catch is that when it's packed it's hard to walk through but a definitely a place to go to lose yourself time to time. Pinball machines I mean cool

The coolest arcade I've ever been to, the prices are great too. Most importantly they have an OG monkey ball arcade game, along with a bunch of other imports and all kinds of unique stuff. I also really enjoyed the overall vibe! :)

This place is so fire. Anyone can have fun here. Probably the best arcade (and definitely the best retro arcade) I have ever been to. Their variety of games is incredible. They have your classic Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution games but also super niche retro games for anyone. My personal fav is their Fix it Felix Game. They also have imported beers and Sake from all over the world and a nice snack stations with noodles and fried rice/ other food items too!! You can easily spend 2-3 hours without even c

20 bucks gets you like 2 hours of gameplay, A-tier Japanese lineup, A-tier pinball lineup, A-tier retro game lineup. There's an amazing & cheap pizza place next door. Constantly hosting events. Open until 2. There's a cemetery in one direction and a railroad in the other. This arcade is, philosophically, the epitome of city nightlife sans clubbing.

I've been here three times, recently i arrived here on MLK day, I beat Outrun 2 SP, and Guilty Gear XRD Rev 2, the selection of games are really good, It's like heaven for retro gamers of all kinds!

I love this place, this is what I call an arcade. I been there for the first time 4 months ago, but I've always wanted to go there. Plenty of game selections to choose from, especially with the vintage arcade games. I love 80's arcade games, they are my weakness. The pinball line up is also pretty cool as well. Aside from those, the atmosphere was immaculate. Almost like I went back in time. Literally hours of fun with this place, I was exhilarated! It's pretty far from where I live, but I definitel

Amazing place! The owner of this establishment deserves ALL the 5 stars. There is a great balance of retro, modern, obscure, and imported/Japanese titles in here. Place has that old school feel and really takes me back. My nieces both high schoolers loved it as well as did my 7 year old daughter. There is truly something for everyone. A lot of machines that I know and love and some really cool machines I've never even heard of made me a kid again. This place is obviously a labor of love and a true treasure

The place is amazing catering for both young folks and adults. Beer is available for adults. When you enter be ready for a sensory explosion of flashing lights and loud audio explosion of a variety of sounds. Bring ear plugs as sound can get louder as you stay. Coin tokens can be punched to play the many games of choice

I've been going here for years with friends. Honestly, my favorite part is that they actually have a good range of rhythm games. It's not limited to just pump it up or ddr. They also have a huge section of pinball machines that line a whole wall. Yummy snacks to eat, sodas to drink, and even a good range of beers. There's also a lot of retro game and fighting games, though not my cup of tea. Overall, it's a great time every time I go.

This is such a unique place. It's somewhat Asian themed in the decor and games, which is great. The atmosphere is great, and I have never had Boba tea or thought I would like it, but i did. They have an adult version of it, which we drank and enjoyed. There are plenty of games and many pinball machines to choose from. The staff are great and helpful, and there are gaming Genres for everyone. The owner did a great job with this place. The decor just adds to the awesomeness of the over all experience.

This is a nerds DREAM! Amazing arcade games, bites & drinks. We have an amazing time every time we go and we can't stay away. I'm a full blown adult and have been going here for years and will continue to frequent this space because of how amazing it is. Can't wait to go back again!

Man what a great place this is, it takes you back for when you were a kid even if you never played with those types of machines, the places has a lot, I mean a LOT of cools arcade machines this is a must go place, great environment, nice people you can even set up some kind of date here(now it looks I'm promoting it lol) but yeah a really nice place.

literally the best arcade i ever been to they have such awesome games

This arcade features an unusually high amount of rare and imported games, as well as a terrific Stern Pinball selection which I always appreciate. Revenue at this business dropped substantially during the pandemic, not every business has the ability to convert to digital or curbside. He's making it. Some of the notable experiences here include one of only 4 ?U235 Meltdown? machines, one of 20 ?Fire Escape? machines, a original Panic Park and a Japanese AKB48 zombie shooter. Just some ridiculous machines.

Great variety of games. Fantastic fun for the money. You can spend there a while. The staff was happy to help us to understand how it all works. Great idea to have craft beers while you play. Great parking as well however a bit out of the way from the usual touristy locations. We went out of our way to specifically visit this place.

Loved it, I was really tired but took my kids. It was better than a modern day Dave and Busters. It has retro, anime, and new games. Load money onto a card and play games. There was smoking and drinking inside even with rules saying no smoking but my kids had a great time. Would recommend for a fun time out for adults or family

This place was suggested by our bartender at our hotel. We had a great time playing vintage and Japanese games, including an entire room full of pinball! I spent $40 on credits and didn't spend them all at the end of the night! Awesome value. The also had cold beers and good food in snack size. Highly recommend for a chill, fun night

What a fun time!! Excellent spot for a budget friendly date night!! Games tokens are purchased in bulk and put on a card. The more you buy, the more bonus tokens they give you! There's a pretty decent selection of IPAs and unique brews and fair priced! I loved the pinball machines and air hockey the most, but theres also PacMan and similar, dancing, racing, etc. Had a great time! Will definitely be back.

Great place. Fantastic selection of arcade games new and old. I always like to play the "Bottles of Beer on the wall" ball game. This place has many unique arcade games like that. Plenty of fighting game cabinets and Pinball machines too.

Awesome place that clearly takes pride in offering a unique and classic set of games. The rhythm games are just great. I always try to visit Arcades when I travel and this one ranks in the top three I've ever been to. A little constructive feedback is that a few of the pinball machines Need a little maintenance, but the whole family was thrilled with our visit.

This arcade is so much fun! You have so many gaming options and I love that they have original games from way back in the day that I remember playing as a kid. It's a lot of fun for kids/teenagers and they have craft beers and some food options too making it fun for adults as well. Overall highly recommend and definitely plan on going back!

Really nice arcade with a lot of Japanese imports and vintage games. They have plenty of games that you cannot find in your typical arcade. They also have some nice alcoholic and food options as well. I would definitely come back.

This place is an institution, been coming here since I was in middle school and seen it grow and expand into what it is. Excellent selection of classic arcade games ranging from fightings, shooters, racing, rhythm, there's something here for everyone. They even have a Virtua On machine! The recent additions of vs cabinets for Third Strike have been great. I try coming in at least once a week for a couple of rounds.

The Japanese old gamer vibes are definitely there. They have classic games such as street fighter and initial D. A good portion of the games are in Japanese because they are imported. You could buy food and drinks in the food stand in the back as well, haven't tried the food but it doesn't seem too bad. My hands feel very dirty when i leave and feel full of germs but this is the best arcade that I know.

This place is one of the last great arcades out there in Miami. From the rare and exotic Asian inspired snacks and drinks to the retro and the new arcade machines, this place is the perfect meeting ground for young and new people of this generation. The atmosphere brings back a certain nostalgia from the past.

I love, love, love Arcade Odyssey. Visited with my family and for $20 worth of coins per kid, we managed to lose track of time and stay here for like 5 hours. There's a wide variety of classics (Galaga, Ms. Packman, Street Fighter), pinball, and newer games. I loved the fact that they sell craft beers from local breweries and Asian inspired drinks and snacks for the kids. It's a fun place for adults, kids, and honestly just anyone. A guaranteed good time and I will be coming back soon.

Great place, the best arcade in Miami, full of amazing retro games and a bunch of classics! The drinks are good and there's a lot to do here, way cheaper than any other arcade too, can't miss out on it if you love retro games.

Best classic arcade museum in the South!! I visited here in 2012, but I think it got better and expanded. Hope this place continues and makes people smile forever. There are no place like this in Japan, so I hope somebody will make place like this...

This place was the best find! So many old school and new games - a whole wall of pinball games - plus an extensive craft beer list. Easily spent two hours here and the games aren't that pricey. $1 gets you three tokens and pinball games are all 2-3 tokens. Definitely a must visit when in Miami.

I have been coming to this arcade since they had xbox 360s available to rent out to play guitar hero metallica. This arcade is amazing and should never leave kendall, it is a local staple and a Miami staple! Lots of different options of games to choose from new games to nostalgic retro games to Japanese games. They now have beverages and food available as well and a great selection of pinball machines. Great date night location after a movie or dinner or to take the kids. Have fun. ??

Loved it. It brought back my child hood when I used to go to the local arcade in Wheaton MD but instead I went for my kids. They have on-line computer gaming. It's $5 per hr and $12 till 2am. We had a blast! Girl was cool and helpful. Place is clean and dark. It's worth dropping $20 because you get a few more tokens!

Place is cool and recently remodeled. They added some games and made it a bit bigger. They added a bar but the new section doesn't really match the original part. But if you like retro gaming this is the place.

Love it! The arcade not only has a great selection of games they also have the mini-dessert bar with an awesome drink and bobba selection which just adds to all the fun.

Really good place to have fun with friends. There is a great variety of video-games and game machines for everyone which include; dancing, punching, pinball, musical, shooters, fighting, japanese, anime, platforms, spaceships, you name it. It is not expensive either, the balance between fun and money spent is very good. The only bad thing is the fact it gets crowded at night, but it is to be expected!

Great place. It's like stepping into a time warp back to 1983. I might suggest try to track down an original Asteroids, Tempest, Missle Command.

My friend and I visited here on 12/17/2024 is was really fun. I have really bad social anxiety but this place made it easy for us to relax and have fun. I read the negative reviews and sincerely do not understand why people leave bad reviews for the most pathetic things. This place is fun. Yes it looks a little worn down but I think that adds character. Also to owner or the person responding to the negative reviews, you're amazing and don't ever change. You got me giggling with your clap-backs?? back to Tam

It's our favorite date night spot. Always a good time and the beer is reasonable. You will find an eclectic group of people with great vibes.

The absolute best arcade in all of South Florida. I've been coming since opening back in 2011 and man has this place grown. I can't think of any other place I'd love to spend a night. Long live the arcade!

Arcade odyssey, Rick and the staff, run one of (if not) the best arcades in the country. It's truly run by enthusiasts not a corporation and you can tell. While it isn't the largest, the selection is great including Japanese, American and pinball machines. Boba, snacks, craft beer, and drinks are also available. I moved away almost 10 years ago and always make sure to drop by when visiting my home town!

My favorite place in the Miami area! Stop in every time I'm in town. Amazing game selection, small bar and great pinball line up.

Accidentally ran into this place visiting Pina?s pizza next door. Wow this place brought back memories from the arcades I use to go to growing up in the late 80?s early 90?s. I will be brining my sons back to Arcade Odyssey and spending some quality time making memories.

Great place to be nostalgic, favorite game by far is Star Wars Trilogy Arcade. 10/10 love the place.

Highly highly recommend Arcade Odyssey for family nights, Saturday nights, church youth nights, whatever occasion.. we had a blast here, they also have a small section for food and drinks, Japanese themed beverages, really dope.

Best arcade we've been to! If we lived in town I would likely be a frequent visitor. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you're a fan of arcades.

Great as always. I love the expansion, but some of the less interesting games or some that aren't in English are cheaper while the more popular games are more expensive. Some are a bit of a rip off (one round of Mario kart for 4 tokens or 1.25) so pay attention to which you play.

I am a huge classic gamer. This place has me in awe! It's loaded with so many awesome arcade classics. Walking through the aisles was like walking through my childhood. I also loved the Japanese snacks. I'm definitely coming to this place again and bringing all my friends.

I love going here. Me and my boyfriend have made it one of our usual spots. They have awesome retro games. It's a fun atmosphere that sometimes gets so packed and loud that you feel like you're at a club. We've stayed here until 2 AM some nights. We also go there to hook up our PS4's to the moniters they let you use ($5 the whole day) just because it's a cool environment to chill away from home. They have an entire wall section of pinball machines. But the best part? They sell Japanese snacks ranging from g

A great place for everyone to have fun!!! Retro games and new games, and the staff is great. We visited as part of a group celebrating a birthday and spent several hours having a blast!!!

I love this hidden treasure! Plenty of old school and new school games to choose from. They also serve beers, wines and food. Great spot to hang out or date nights!

I first went to Arcade Odyssey back in 2019 and have been back a handful of times when I get the chance! Such a nice place to have fun with your friends, along with nerdy twists of alcoholic boba tea (can't recommend the Waluigi enough!) It's expanded since I had first gone, so nice to see the place grow. If you decide to check it out, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Great place to have fun ! Great prices for the games, food and drinks !! Nice and tidy , not much people in the afternoon.

So much fun. A nice hole in the wall. The games they had ranged from retro to new age to even overseas! There's something for everyone. And the best part is they have food and drinks. It's affordable! Even the toys they have are reasonable priced.

Stay is wonderful and always willing to help. Old school pinball machines and arcade games as well as new games. Also really good prices (you can find online) and a small bar with great selection of seltzers, beers and sours. Really fun good for any age. Very clean, not dark inside.

Their style of arcade is immensely different than most arcades and they are packed with for-entertainment games including a wall of pinball machines. Fairly priced games, more than enough variety, plus food and drink options. I had so much fun and couldn't think of another place that does it the same.

Arcade Odyssey is a hidden gem! Not only do they have a ton of retro and modern games at super affordable prices, but their selection of Japanese snacks, chips, and treats is awesome. It's the perfect place to geek out on games while enjoying some unique munchies. My only wish is that they added more Japanese beers or even some soju to their menu. That would complete the experience! Definitely worth checking out if you're a gamer or snack lover.

This place is so fun. The only thing that would make it better is if they are able to serve super cold beer. The beer is slightly cold, once it's been in my hand for a few minutes, it's warm. Even the beer in the fridge isn't that cold. Other than that, this place is great. Tons of fun games and the staff is nice. The place is always clean & the bathrooms as well. Easy to find parking always.

Solid games, some you've never heard of. Every one in the place worked except for one. They had an arcade version of some super Nintendo games like super slam masters in a multicade. You had to scroll through a few games to get to it, but that's one I forsure haven't seen before. They have a good selection of snacks, drinks and candy. We played for a few hours on $20 with just two of us. If I were to ever come back I would put this on a list to visit.

A hidden gem! An awesome arcade that had been made better with its recent renovations adding Beer and Sake along with Ramen and Japanese snacks! Great chill spot, we gotta give love and support to these kind of places highly reccomend!

Awesome placed. I enjoyed playing with my 6 y/o. If you have kids older than 5 y/o this place is fun!

So much fun if you love arcades, the beer here is so delicious but the draft beer mini arcade handles is probably the best thing I've ever seen! ?? AND THEY WORK! it's awesome!

Good mix of old and new. Fair pricing for games. Came for the rhythm games, but stayed for the variety. Grab a drink while here.

Love this place ?great spot to take the kids and reminisce on the old times

This arcade is what an arcade should be. The game selection is absolutely amazing. I love the variety of unique Japanese import machines and the decor is really neat! This is a true video arcade and although some kids may enjoy it, it's not a child casino. Go to chuck e cheese for that. This arcade is obviously built by gamers for gamers.

Fun place came in to kill some time and have a beer before dinner dauthers had allot of fun

First time here really enjoyed it cool retro vibe alot of cool classic games like Street Fighter Simpsons X-Men Mario Kart and more if u coming with a big group try groupon and save.

This place was cool- definitely got the classic arcade experience here, there were a variety of games. Admittedly, there weren't many (that we could find) multiplayer racing games, which was part of the motivation for going. There are some rad pinball machines and all the retro games you're looking for, The Simpsons, Ninja Turtles, etc. Drinks were at a fair price. Warning: this place is utterly packed to the brim on a Friday night, in some places with literally no room to navigate aisles, also it seemed

I prefer and miss the tokens since it had the retro vibe you expect from this place and the new cards don't always read right away, but it's honestly not that big of a deal when every other aspect of this place is exceptional. I grew up going here and even though I don't live in Miami anymore I visit it every time I come back. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could! Many thanks to the owner and all the hardworking staff that keep this place running like a well-oiled machine.

Super cool. I'm not really into video games but it's so great for my kid and his friends. Lots of games, pinball machines, guitar hero, and beer/sake bar. Great experience.

Amazing energy. Everyone gets along. Zero drama, just fun. Not a place I wanted to take my phone out because of how much fun it really was. It was a bit cramped with so many people. In my opinion, it added to the old school effect. Wish I could?ve stayed longer but definitely returning soon!

Huge selection of games, classic and new. Stand up/sit down/cocktail cabs. They've just expanded a bit, added a bar. Good selection of pinball machines too. And best of all, all the games are set to reasonable levels it seems. 5 balls for pinball, tables not tilted too much, arcade game dip switches not set to hard levels. Your 25 cents can last a reasonable time. There's an area for communal PC gaming it appears to play/hire out, but never availed myself of it yet, seems well laid out and comfy.

I am a true gamer and from the 90?s gamers all I can say I love this place, it is not that big of a place but it has plenty of arcades and pinball machines. They just recently added new machines, I usually try to go there on Sunday afternoon and spend some quality time there. It gets kind of packed on Sunday but not too packed, there is two restaurants next to the place for snacks and drinks and a gas station. I wish we had a place like this in our area, I have to drive 20-25 minutes from where I live but i

all the machines are maintained very well, nothing feels broken or cheap. their menu is very impressive too

They've expanded and now serve food! I had the miso soup. It was delicious and filling ???? I mainly hit the Galaga machine and DDR but theyve got tons of other games like pinball, fighting and shooting games, air hockey, and computers and consoles. Tonight they had a Smash tournament. It was fun to watch. The employees I encountered were are really nice. In fact, I realized I had left my phone and when I got back, one of the employees had found it and they held it for me behind the counter. ??

I love this gem in Kendall. They have some classic games and new ones too. Great pinball games too. The best part is they have beer, wine, sake, ramen, some imported drinks and sodas too. Again great little gem in kendall.

1st time here ! I taught it was a kiddie place , if u have younger than 10 is not recommended maybe in the day but not Friday night. It was super crowed can hardly walk in the place. But for young teens is the perfect place , I was not too crazy with the bar idea but nothing you can do. Overall a fun place to go !

I love Arcade Odyssey. It's the only legitimate arcade I can find within Miami-Dade (no, dave & busters does not count). The staff and people here are always so friendly! The games are nostalgic, and everytime I go it's always a good time. Classic arcade, pinball and a few new games in there as well. Mostly old school <3 There's a pizza place right next door. I think recently they just started serving alcohol, I don't remember that before, but it's definitely a plus. My fiance was really excited that they c

This place is awesome. The atmosphere, the games, and the drinks are phenomenal. The staff are kind and welcoming as well! Would definitely recommend this spot. Also got a free comic book!!

I completely enjoy coming to this location. I personally enjoy all types of games and they have pinball machines!! Classic Arcade game's do live here. I would've posted pictures but there was a lot people in attendance and I didn't want to have people who didn't want to be in the pictures. Air hockey is available here as well! This location takes cash and debit for Arcade Token's so if don't carry cash, no worries. If you're curious about Arcade Odyssey, I'd say give it a try. I personally used to atten

The perfect destination for bringing friends and family together, where everyone can relax, enjoy each other's company, and create unforgettable memories.

Price is pretty good, nice amount of games for one quarter. Three Rhythm games, which I enjoyed. Pretty good amount of retro games. I got introduced to an arcade game called The Act. Very unique and quite fun.

I love this place, so much fun! The staff are very friendly and always go above and beyond. They have an excellent variety of games as well as snacks and munchies. This is a great place for a date, a night out with family or friends. It's a bit cramped when busy, but there's little to no wait for games to become available. They are wheelchair accessible, however the narrow isles may be a bit difficult to navigate. I highly recommend this place for classic arcade lovers and kids of all ages.

I enjoyed the pinball machines and if you like retro games you will enjoy this place. However, it gets really crowded, not clean, and filled with furries.

Really enjoyed this arcade ?? For once, I'm able to go to an actual arcade and not have to deal with those pesky ticket games. The games take tokens and they're not expensive. The variety is awesome, I recommend it 100%. The reason why is not a 5 for me, simply becuase it can get a tad tight in there. Also, I'd love to see an ITG machine and a better working air hockey table.

Place is super cool, good ambience and lots of games to pick from. Only thing I could say is that the claw machines are straight rigged so you're not gonna win those and the boba is pretty mid and overpriced for the quality. Otherwise it's a cool place.

Memory lane of all the great classic games 80s and 90s even my ten year Olds had a blast defiantly recommended.

Great selection of games, nice snacks, great atmosphere. Would definitely go again

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?
