Some enjoy the variety and automation, but others feel scammed by non-functional machines and lack of staff assistance. Customer Reviews

So much fun!! My son won over 3000 tickets and I won over 1000!!! If the machine takes your credit and you don't get a game, they're quick to sort it out. The arcade is better than the Midway Arcade on the Hill. It's not as crowded, and more to do. We always enjoy this spot!!

This is the scummiest arcade I've ever seen in the entire world. Games don't work, but they still steal your credits like clockwork. It's not just broken?it feels like a straight-up scam. Total waste of time and money. Avoid this place at all costs. How is this place even legal, let alone still open?!

Many games don't work. Lost a lot of credits because games didn't work. Prize machine is terrible. Waste of money. Parents do not take your kids in here. I know it's tempting because of it's location. This place will never get my business again. I've given it a few chances and I'm done with it.

This is not true arcade. It is connected to the Cafe next door. A good place to bring kids from the cafe. You have to purchase a card to swipe the machines. Not one pinball machine.

Top notch experience for the kids. Wasn't crowded, everything was automated and, while small, there was a lot of variety for them to pick through. Highly recommend this if the kids are young and you have an hour to kill before lunch at Rainforest Cafe.

My 2 year old toddler loved it, he was just roaming around while we tried out some fun with games.

Never any staff way over priced fun for kids but they have no value of money they just want to play which it's clean and small but again over priced and can't cash in tickets for prices it always broken! $100 goes so fast here it's unreal

I cant imagine why anyone would rate this five stars. 3 at the most for me. A $10 bill to get 40 credits while most machines are 10 or 8 credits, and have a 70% of losing. Also makes you pay 2 extra bucks for the cards that would be very easy to snap in half or crumble into pieces. No staff for the arcade either. No help for anything. About 3 machines down or off. All of the claw machines have no grip on the claw so everything and anything you pick up, goes down. The greatest amount of tickets I got was 25

Neither of the card transactors were working. The manager was gracious enough to come out and transact cards for our kids to use, but there was no way to do it at the kiosk. The biggest issue was that I can honestly say nearly half of the games were out of order! At least 1/3 of them were. It's tough to explain to 4 and 5 year old boys that the games they want to play don't work. Kind of takes the fun out of the play time. This isn't a bad little place to entertain your kids for a bit, but they need to ge

Such a disappointment. 3 $25 cards resulted in 4, 2-3 inch, rubbery animal figurines out of a vending machine. Half the machines you could win tickets from were out of order. The hours on the website were wrong. We waited about 25 minutes in line at the vending machine at the end of the night behind only 2 families to get our prizes, then the machine took our last 98 tickets. My kids decided it wasn't worth it to try to find someone to help us. I wish I would have spent the money buying a souvenir instead.

The games we could play were fun. I think it was an okay price for an arcade. Able to kill some time before dinner. Overall I think it's worth stopping by for a little fun. The only sad part is the prize machine wasn't working when we were there but still had fun.

I'm glad this arcade is open especially during the winter months when most places are shut down but a lot of the games weren't working and the prize selection was terrible. We had over 2000 points to redeem and the best that we could do were little figurines or pencil toppers..my daughter collected 11 of these before we just said that's enough!

Not well maintained, machines don't have balls or equipment in them to play. They want you to purchase card but then y0u find out not all machines take cards

Terrible. Dont waste your money. Half the games don't work and instead of a prize counter they have an automated machine to redeem your ticket prizes that broke down 3 times while I was using it. Prizes are cheap and waaaay overpriced.

Not enough games a lot of games did not work. You couldn't hardly get any big prizes a lot of little one and you sometimes lost credits. Not impressed

It was cool but my bike ride machine dyed out in the middle of my race and there was no one to help me.

Alot of the games where broke but my 7 year old had a blast for 45 mins then we grabbed lunch

What a joke... All the games make you swipe the card twice to get it them to work, costing double the amount of money for an already overpriced game.... Complete waste of money.

I was hoping to find a classic arcade here with some classic arcade games, instead, it is a small arcade akin to the one you would find by the checkouts at a walmart. You have to be a patron of the rainforest cafe to get in.

Thrown together, games broken, prizes empty and no staff. Not a real arcade.

Arcade Warrior wasn't wrong. Stay far away. Nothing works. No Covid protocols. Very expensive. 0 stars

Small game choice n worst yet horrible ticket prizes, even for a 10 year old...

Definitely helps you pass the time for the wait on the rainforest cafe.

The food was spectacular and Jackie our server was phenomenal.

Small, clean, ok to pass time while you wait to eat at the Rainforest Cafe.

Some of the machines need love but it's not bad

Fun location with plenty of games for all

Closed at 9:45pm even though website says closes at 11pm

Games don't work, terrible prizes!

Half the stuff dident work and super overpriced

Only few games worth playing

Not alot of interesting games.

Half of everything is broken

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
