Customer Reviews

The OWA Arcade is pretty fantastic. The prices are not outrageous like most modern arcades, and there is a good mix of games. I had to subtract a star because the AC was hardly working.

First off the hours listed online are inaccurate and unfortunately we didn't find this out until the last night of our vacation. So we were very surprised when we tried to get in 1.5 hours before closing as stated online, to be told they closed early.

The arcade was nice and clean, and the staff were really sweet and friendly, which I appreciated! However, I recommend not buying the VIP passes. I used mine, and unfortunately, most of my tickets didn't count. I even won a few bonuses, but ended up with only around 700 tickets total. I asked another guest if they were experiencing the same issue, and they tried their VIP bracelet?none of their bonus tickets counted either. It seems like the VIP system needs some serious fixes to be worth it! Please fix add

No pinball machines- some cool games but let's get back to packman and pinball

Pretty modern arcade. Kids loved it

We loved this arcade! My husband and I are giants kids and enjoy doing things like going to arcade! I thought they had really fun games there, some new ones I have never played! It was clean and the worker was super friendly! Great place to enjoy some friendly competition!

An employee named Tyler C. is really nice and he should get a raise. He never slacks off and always is doing well.

My son, his best friend and best friends family had a fantastic time! He can't stop talking about! I can't wait to go myself and take all my kiddos!

This use to be so nice... We are locals that have been going here since the day it opened. We went today 7-10-22, and half of the games were shut down/broken (all the ones you can actually win tickets) and when we went to get the "toys" you can win... every single one of those were broken as well. We will be going to the arcade at the putt putt golf next door or the one at The Wharf next time because this was a total embarrassment and has became nothing more than a tourist trap Sad sad day for us as a fami

NO AIR CONDITIONING! When it's 90 degrees outside with a heat index of over 100 and you expect when you drop $100 bucks on an hour of playing games you'd like they turn on some air! But when I asked a team member I just got told ?No? that they didn't have air! Made the gaming experience MISERABLE!

Fun games for kids at the Arcade.

Had a great day playing all the games, can't wait to bring my friends. Great prizes too I'll get that guitar one day!

Usually at least 2 games are out and the heat is unbearable but still good times to be had!

Fun games for a variety of game lovers of all ages... Only lacking a pinball machine.

Above and beyond staff! Fun for everyone 5 to 50! They have something for everyone

Great staff and vary approachable. Can't wait to go back

What a fun and clean arcade! Nicely done.

So fun...kids loved it!

Always a great time!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
