A great little date night for hubby and I! We had so much fun playing Pac-Man, Star Wars and the pinball machines. So much nostalgia for these games, place is so nice and sprawling. We had a great time!!! Also try Mario chocolates they are amazing!

A place were my inner child and outer adult finally agree on something. It's the only place I can absolutely dominate in Dr Mario while responsibly sipping on a legally acquired IPA. The vibe? Pure nostalgia meets grown-up freedom. Think Saturday morning cartoons, but with better lighting and a liquor license. Whether you're chasing high scores or just reliving the golden age of joystick glory, this place nails it. 10/10

I live in jacksonville, FL and i came here 2 years to visit this place! My girlfriend went to this place before and i heard so many things about it that i had to take a look! It it pretty fun and worth it for all day $12! The Staff is Very Friendly Here and they have games from Nintendo NES to Nintendo Switch, FortNite, Supersmash, PS1, and other games!!! they also serve good food here too including drinks :) i recommand everyone to give it a try!! Update: i am currently visiting Mckinney again :) i went b

We recently found our family unexpectedly celebrating my son?s 7th birthday after severe weather shut down his planned friend party. It certainly wasn't the evening we had been planning for but, when the staff of arcade 92 heard about his party being cancelled, you could tell they felt his disappointment. The staff was wonderful to my son, they made sure to wish him happy birthday, gave him some treats and made sure to make him feel special and celebrated. Their kindness made all the difference in turning

My sister and I came here and enjoyed ourselves with the classic video games. It was a fun, engaging atmosphere. I would give 5 stars but the bartender was rude towards me. She asked how it was going, and I said good. She asked why then we hadn't tipped her and the bartender. This was very off putting for myself. Especially since we bussed our own table and brought all our empty drinks back to the bar. I have never been talked to in such a way and I would not talk that way to my customers as I have worked

For just $12 all day, I got to relive my childhood and enjoy a wide variety of arcade games. The selection was impressive, from classic pinball machines to modern video games, there was something for everyone. The atmosphere was electric, with the sounds of laughter and excitement filling the air. The full bar was a huge plus ? I could enjoy my favorite drinks while playing my favorite games. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was impeccably clean. It's clear that they take pride in mainta

Born in the late 80s, bringing back these retro games is amazing and I had a good time playing games that I saw in the late 80s and the 90s. Great selection of games and They do have food and cool cocktails after some players and beers on tap or in cans.

This place took me down memory lane for sure. Just staring at the games I used to play as a kid and mashing the buttons trying to be fast enough or shoot enough shots to kill the boss. This place was great! Such a neat place to relax and unwind with some classic games.

I discovered Arcade92 via Instagram and decided to check it out. What a great concept and execution! Wife and I and our 7 year old checked it out one Sunday and we were not disappointed. Entrance fee is $12 per person with unlimited plays on any of the games on the floor. The arcade cabinets are exceptionally clean and well kept, amazing for their age. I mean we grew up playing some of these games growing up in the early 80's, the 90's and mid 2000's! What I like about the place is adults can order beer or

Great deal and a great place to hang out! Novelty drinks really help set the atmosphere. See if you can spot which shot was made by the trainee and which shot was made by the seasoned bartender!

Took the family here for a fun Saturday outing. The single pay free-for-all ($12ea) makes it very easy. It was fairly crowded, but surprisingly everyone was being very well behaved and respectful. The games are leaning towards the more modern flavor (fortnight and other FPS (first person shooter) type games). The modern ones do not open very much. Still a fair amount of classic ones though, including many pinball games. None of the side by side racing games or Skee-ball which is disappointing. Alcohol and f

I totally underestimated the fun a play like this could provide. A base fair gets you in and boom! Hours upon hours of games can be played. This arcade is an adult's playground with kids sprinkled in. Great drinks (we didn't try the food) and an array of different systems and pinball machines to get lost in. This was an excellent place to let off steam.

Went to this location when my brother was visiting. I felt like we were kids again! Very pleasant 90s nostalgia experience. My brother and I played a lot of the Simpsons game that is in this place. Drinking and having a good time playing video games! Blast from the past will definitely come back.

Super fun for all ages, great selection of beloved classic arcade cabinets, pinball, and new console games too! Add to that fantastic food, drink selection, and the BEST STAFF ANYWHERE, in any business. Quit reading reviews and just go, you'll never find new places to like if you don't give em a shot!

I had a great time at this arcade bar recently. If you love old-school arcade games like Galaga, Ms.Pac-Man, Frogger, and Joust, you'll be in heaven here. It reminded me a lot of being a kid again. For only $12, you get to play as much as you want on all the games. This is a good deal, especially for those who plan on gaming for a while. They've also got pinball machines, which adds to the fun. Besides the games, there's a decent bar with a good choice of beers on tap. It's nice to grab a drink while you'

This arcade is super retro and a great vibe from the bar tenders! Christina is the employee of the month in my opinion!!! ?? And don't forget to grab a drink from the bar??

$12 admission fee to play unlimited games! You get WAY MORE bang for your buck here than anywhere else to game. They have everything here from pinball, arcade games, DDR, a wall of TVs with gamer chairs, all gaming systems, PC's, tables with monitors to play all of the Nintendo and Sega systems. Adults can enjoy the bar, kids can enjoy retro sodas. They also have a kitchen that serves pizza, burgers and wings. We easily spent 3 hours here and we're looking forward to coming back soon!

There was a wide variety of games, in various genres and platforms, pinball, vintage, etc. This place really is set up for age 10+. Our group had ages 3 and up (4 kids). The kids were bored, including our 11 year old. Because of the lack of anything that really worked for the littles, I feel their price structure should be adjusted to reflect a price discount for 4-11 years old. 3 and under are free, and should be. Would I go back. Yes. I just wouldn't bring the littles.

Great food, great beers on tap, decent bar options for mixed drinks, and fantastic service. All the games ran perfectly with no issues. They had everything from the very old school arcade cabinets and many from throughout the years. Pinball machines were running perfectly as well. Bonus points for having retro game systems running on the mini system released over the last few years and modern day consoles to play as well. Kids had a blast during the day. 1 fee to get in and all games are free to play.

The arcade is pretty awesome(: it has frogger, Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, Tapper, pinball and a lot more. It's a very fun place and I like that it's walking distance to the McKinney square. The food is also pretty great! I've been here twice now and I realized that they have two Mrs. Pac-Man games which is awesome! They also have monitors set up so you can play old school games like Sonic and Donkey Kong. I think I am addicted to the Tetris game I could play for hours you can play with two players, the game go

Great spot brings back a lot of childhood memories with all the retro games. Something I was able to share with my kids. Love the vibe, drove all the way from Pleasant Grove to check this spot out. Only reason I gave it three stars instead of 4 or 5. Was cause of the food. Both pizzas was burnt with no thought or question about remaking or replacing the order. They didn't cut the pizza good at all or give us the tool to cut it ourselves. No plates to put the food on. So a Family of 6 with 4 kids. You can im

Last night I took my daughters to arcade 92 as we were celebrating my 19-year-old?s birthday. I just want to say that I was so pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our time there at the arcade. This was a treat. Not only is your staff, friendly, courteous, and helpful, but your location is clean from the machines to the restrooms. There were a couple of games that I tried playing that did not work, but I'm sure that's a normal thing that can happen with the amount of people that probably touch your machines. It

We love this place! If you have kiddos that love video games this is the place! We had our sons 8th birthday party here and it was perfect. A fraction of the price of anywhere else you might go. The kids all were able to find games to play and had a blast! The staff were great! Super helpful and friendly. Would absolutely recommend having any party or get together here.

So... Not a lot of variety in the games. Unless you go on a Wednesday afternoon, good luck getting iniside because you will wait three hours. If do - you're going to be swarmed by sweaty people and noise pollution. Food and beverage are overpriced but expected given it's a free play arcade. Got berated last time for walking in with a coffee, ok. I had just witnessed a death in our family that morning and I deal with chronic PTSD so it gave me a bad vibe instantly. Put up some signs outside and people will r

This was my first time coming to a retro arcade. So glad I came to Arcade92. It was so cool to play popular games from when I was a kid. They had a nice mix of nostalgic and newer games for the younger people. The staff was nice and the beer and drink selection was good too.

Really fun retro arcade room with all the classics. Nice bar and pub food available. Great to see something like this still exists is such a fantastic manor. Console, arcade boxes, custom floor models, and pinball. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend! And free parking right outside the building!

Avi and Christina are great people. Brought my family and they provided geat service ?? don't see that in other arcade places. Definitely our new go to place as long as they're here. Place we'll kept and restrooms too

I've lived in McKinney for just over one year, and Arcade 92 was one of the first places I stumbled on to while walking around downtown. I'm glad I found it because, since moving here from Virginia, I was missing playing pinball in my buddies basement! They've got a great collection of pinball tables, retro games, retro consoles as well as modern games and console play. Doesn't cost much to get in and have free play all night. They also have some great beers, craft and local for me, as well as some soli

This place is awesome. $12.00 per person. Pizza is around $12.99, it was ok. A little burnt. Came on a week night and it wasn't packed. We had so much fun. Didn't see any broken games. Everything work pretty well. Love the fact that you can play old school and modern games. Great for the whole family. We'll be back for sure.

Epic! What a wonderful set up! It's jam packed wall to wall with Arcade, Video Games & Pinball. Old to New New Video Games , it's got exactly what you need for a fun clean night out or an all afternoon blitz. Beers in bottle or tap with a bar and eats... This place couldn't be more perfect for downtown McKinney. I only had them for a quick visit and the hour went by way too fast. I will be back with more time on my hands soon! Wonderful staff and very clean.

Need a break from the typical normal? This place 12$ all you can play and it has retro and new games. The pizza was awesome not greasy and stands out above the typical pizza place using fresh ingredients and no canned mushrooms! They do parties and have a fantastic selection of beers with some being a must try first times!!!!

We arrived to celebrate my son's 17-year-old birthday party. When we arrived with a cake we were told we could not eat it inside because we didn't have a reservation. When I asked to make a reservation I was told we don't do same-day reservations. I was a little perturbed and I told him this because I had attempted to call four or five times but just kept getting voicemail and no one ever return my call. The man's response was well yeah our phone number doesn't work very well. He was extremely unhelpful and

I must say, the games were very fun, especially since they have modern gaming consoles with all your favorite games from Minecraft to Halo to Call of Duty, but sadly the food is eh. I came to this place when I was celebrating my lover's birthday, he turned 21 and he ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza, me and my friends ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the pizza was pretty good, it definitely has more sauce than cheese, but the chicken sandwiches were really bad. #1 they aren't fried, they're grilled, #2 th

I loved coming here with my friends and nephew, we all had a blast playing together, and they gave me complimentary grapefruit juice ????

Pretty cute place. I love that all the games worked! Getting a game pass was a little confusing as they had a sign that said to go to the bar but then we were told we had to go to a different register... and then the bartender let us get game passes with them. The drinks were good and so was the atmosphere. The bartenders were exceptionally slow at making drinks. I'm talking 10 mins to get a sprite, a bittled beer, and a single shot of liquor (not even a mixed shot). So it took a long time to get stuff. Th

Awesome place! We've been waiting a while for them to open and it was worth the wait. $12 per person and you can play all the games you want, all day. So much fun and great atmosphere, very nostalgic. Drink prices are good as well with a very large selection of beer. We didn't eat but saw some food coming out a few times and it looked delicious. Highly recommended spot!

Awesome place, wish I would have known this was here 2 years ago. Fun to take the kids and I assume would be more fun with adult friends. Food and drinks were good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure.

Pretty fun arcade spot, lots of games for $12 free play. Super scarce plant-based options! There are sadly only two food options that are gluten-free and vegan. Chips+guac and a mere lettuce salad that you wouldn't be able to get any toppings on it. The chips and guac I wouldn't get again as they were disappointing. For $7 and it didn't have any spice profile and didn't taste fresh.

Great Arcade! We have been here several times and always enjoy it. Nearly Every form of video game is represented here, from 80s home consoles to coin-op machines to current Nintendo switch and PS gaming. It's all here and it's awesome! Good food, great cocktails as well. Go!

It's an 80s kid blast from the past in a cool old building. Some of the best old fashioned drinks you can get as well. I love this place and so do my kids.

Update: food has gone downhill- inedible really. But we love this place, we just make sure to eat ahead of time. The arcade is great and has a great price point. Food is decent for what it is, drinks good. But what made this place 5 star for me, was Matilda! She is attentive, makes sure you have a wonderful experience, and just overall manages the whole situation with five star service. She is the perfect example on how hiring the right person truly can make a difference! Owners if you read this, she needs

We had a wonderful experience here and will definitely be back! We came on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. $12 a person, free play all day, and great food and bar drinks. We ordered pizza and sodas. You get unlimited refills on soda drinks but they have a full bar for any grown ups in the group. My husband and I loved reliving our youth playing the classic games and pinball machines. Meanwhile our kids loved playing each other on Smash Bros at the modern gaming bar. The staff wer

Took my son here for 4 hours with his friends, they got to level 104 on rampage, if a high score was possible, they beat i!, had almost every cocktail on the menu, the names are from the games in the place, good drinks!

We cool place with only a couple of down sides. First, they have a huge selection of classic, and modern, games and consoles. Super fun to revisit games you haven't seen for decades and pinball machines that span every genre. The down sides? The noise for one, it's not just loud, it is raucously loud and fatigues you after a while. There is also a tendency for kids to campout in the comfy chairs and play the modern consoles all day long ..racing little opportunity for new guests to try out those same consol

If you want a trip down memory lane, this is the place to go! It has tons of arcades, Nintendo games, Sega, pin ball, etc! Guitar Hero was down, which was a bummer but overall great experience. They did have a couple of sanitizer bottles around the place to sanitize between games. You can also order from restaurants near by and bring in their food. Will be coming back again real soon, just us adults only lol ??

So fun! I've never been to an arcade like this. It's 12$ per person for unlimited play, they have games so old you couldn't even imagine, all the way up to VR and ps5s. If you're looking for something where you, your kids, and your parents can all have fun, this is it! And it's in an amazing place- downtown McKinney has so much to offer. I'll definitely be coming back solely for Dr. Mario alone

Good atmosphere great variety of games. Good alcohol. Very nice employees. Solid prices too. ??

Great spot for good drinks and a very good game curation. Something here for everyone: pinball of course, fighting games, hugely popular social arcade game Killer Queen and even a Fortnite console bay area with a wall of flat screens, leather recliners and PlayStations and Xboxes. Here on a Sunday...and if you can block out the din you could even get work done here. Seems to be kid-friendly, at least at this hour of the day, as they are also a bar.

It is a great idea , Great prices, they had every game that we wanted even the old favorites and they had duplicates!! They just need to brush up on getting a little more help because it took kind of a long time to get some drinks... but it just opened so they will catch on and we had a great time and it's in a good location next to the parking garage

This place is awesome. Great way to bring out some inner kid in you. Had a blast. Unfortunately when we showed up kitchen was closed already, but all good. Will definitely make this a common place for us. Will definitely be back for sure.

Tons of fun to be had if you like coin-op games or pinball. Lots to pick from. Friendly staff, nice drinks selection. Love that you can come and go all day long for the all day pass.

When we first arrived it was very crowded but so worth it. We went for my sons 11th birthday and we all had so much fun, there's something fun for all ages (well not so much the Littles but that should be obvs). I've only been to one other free play and in comparison I love that Arcade92 had consoles and not just the machines. For this gamer family we loved the variety and could have spent all day there without getting bored.

It can get crowded on the weekends, which leaves you with minimal options of games to play and there's not much seating and no table service if you want to eat. Still, we had a great time and would love to try it again sometime on a weekday.

Arcade92 Retro Arcade, Bar + Kitchen is an absolute gem for anyone seeking a nostalgic trip down memory lane. As soon as I stepped inside, I was instantly transported back to the carefree days of my childhood, surrounded by the sights, sounds, and excitement of classic video games. From the moment you enter, you'll be captivated by the incredible collection of Sega, Nintendo, and other old-school arcade games that defined our youth. It's a haven for gamers and enthusiasts alike, with a vast array of titles

Awesome new arcade right off the square in McKinney. They have great drinks, tons of games, both retro and modern, and great food. Staff are friendly and parking couldn't be better with the parking garage directly attached. Definitely a must if you don't want to drive all the way to Richardson for FreePlay.

Absolute blast. Very reasonably priced. Nice drink selection, and a ton of great games. Plenty of staff, and they all seem to love their job. Quick service, and lots of staff moving around the floor cleaning up after people, and making sure everything was running smoothly. Great spot!

UPDATE TO RESPONSE: We went on 12/19/24 weeks before there was any winter weather even in the forecast. A raw pizza that has raw meat on it,can certainly kill or send someone to the hospital. If you just say you fixed your oven, then it obviously happened to others since you think I was just there a few days ago. You said you'd hope I complained while I was there shows me you didn't even read my whole complaint. I said in my original response,"I'm one of those people I just won't say anything while there bec

Took my Son to celebrate his 11th Bday on a Saturday. This place is so awesome! There so many games from old school to new school, any game you name it. They have areas we're you can stand up and play or relax and sit down. The food was so delicious, but I suggest to get there early as tables are first come first serve. Customer service was great. On Saturdays after 9pm no children allowed which I think is really cool. I can't wait to go back. :)

Awesome people ?? ???? ?? the best pizza and so grateful for your support.

Cool spot. Visiting for the first time with my son and his friend and they are enjoying the variety of games. I just wish they had more menu items like nachos or a basket of fries. And don't care for the dip that comes with the pretzel bites.

Great place to have fun in downtown McKinney. Plenty of old school games plus newer ones, pinball and more. The food is good and nice bar!

This place is great for kids and adults. They have so many game options and old school games such as NES and Playstation. I ordered chicken nuggets for the kids and they were mediocre. I wouldn't come here for the food. Giving it 3 stars because they make everyone that walks in pay even if you are not playing games. Doesn't make sense if grandma comes with grandkids and she has to pay. Seems like a money grab.

My Lil People enjoyed themselves. The pizza was yummy. The drinks were delicious

Good selection of titles in a clean and friendly environment! I brought my kids and we had a blast!!

I've always loved this place. There's something for everyone here. New and old games. Great food. Great company. Would 100% recommend this for activities and events, or even a single day visit for a fun time and great experience. Thank you for a wondrous time, Arcade 92!

This place is a lot of fun it has everything from real arcade cabinets to modern consoles so there is something for everyone but it is small and can get crowded on the weekends. When it comes to the food it nothing to write home about it basically generic Sysco foods thrown in a microwave and served up. I have been to other barcades with really good food and this is not one of them.

I spent four hours playing some old school games like Dig Dug and Asteroids. Man it took me back!! There were some games there that I hadn't played for like 30 years. But hey this place is cross generational. There are new games and multiplayer options that made this a fun time for everyone. There were young kids, teens, and about every other age group.

This is our second time here and have been extremely impressed! Sable has made our experience so memorable: wanting us to come back and bring friends and family. We celebrated our son?s 11th birthday, ages 1-78, all had a enjoyable time! Sable is the most kind and genuine person I've come across in a long time- very heart warming. Ask for Sable!!!!

Fun place. I've been to better arcades. This one was a little cramped and parking wasn't great.

Super fun place. Pay admission to all the free plary you want. Bain facility. Lots of retro games and pin ball.

Great retro gaming space with in and out privileges. Great food options in the neighborhood. Too bad it gets really busy weekend afternoons. $12 per person all day.

Lots pf nostalgia with a good selection of games and consoles. Gets a bit noisy, but still tolerable. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Fun place to play some retro video games and pinball that's close to the square. The staff is really nice and friendly. The arcade is fun and clean but drinks are expensive and are a light serving. That's the only downside to hanging out here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place charges to get in even if you are just bringing your kids and you are not going to play. I ordered overpriced food that took about 45 minutes to come out. On there website the food looked great so I thought wow I can't wait. When it finally came out the fries were so hard, it was was like eating stale chips. I ordered a brisket sandwich and it was chopped beef (there is a HUGE difference)! The wings my son ordered, well they are better a the 7 Eleven down the stre

Love this place!! Tons of pinball machines, my favorite to play. Wish we had a place like this in San Antonio.

This. Place. Is. Amazing. Way too much to do. I'm 21 and this is like a candy shop for me. And a full service bar and food. Theres nothing else you would want to do on a evening than have some drinks and game against and aside your friends and coworkers. For sure going to again!!

I went with a friend of mine tonight, and we both really enjoyed it. The drink I had was tasty and not watered down, they had games we enjoyed playing from the past (Mario Bros and Guitar Hero), and the food was delicious. My friend said he will come back to bring his kids who would love to play the Ninja Turtle game.

Great place for a party! The seating wasn't fantastic and they didn't have enough plates for us(we did have a lot of kids), but other than that it was great and a great value.

One of my favorite places to hang out in McKinney!! The food, drinks, atmosphere, and selection of games are always great! Downtown McKinney really needed a place like this to liven it up, and I'm glad we got this.

Memories of the past. It was so fun watching my daughter play pinball and enjoy it. It is very loud so be prepared. Suggest you don't come if you have a headache. I did find it a little odd to be asked for a tip when I paid. Not sure what I'd be tipping for. The young lady put a wrist band on my hand. Other than that we made no contact with employees while we there.

I've loved coming here for a couple years now. It's got the best variety in my opinion in terms of the free play arcades around. I do wish the root beer float would come back though :-(

First time back at Arcade 92 since covid and it was great to see that the place had a crowd. We didn't get anything to eat this time but we did get the Zangief Mule and the Zelda Lime Margareta both of which were great. I also played the new Star Wars: The Mandalorian pinball table which was really cool! They also had the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and PlayStation One classic systems which was a great addition to the modern consoles and arcade cabinets. I can't wait to go back!

If you are a retro gaming fan, or your looking to just kill some time with friends this is the place for you! They have almost every retro game you can imagine. Perfect place to take the family for a night of gaming, order drop the kids off before you and the misses hit the luxurious spa around the corner. We had a great time for $12 play all day long and into the night.

Amazing atmosphere. They have modern consoles, retro consoles, and arcade cabinets. Food and bar of you plan on hanging out a whole. Get there earlier in the day of you're not a fan of crowds. Game Pass and PS pass on Xbox/PlayStations. The switches have most of the popular multiplayer games like MK8 and Smash. Worth the 12$ if you have a couple hours and like video games.

Wow! Step back into the 80s and 90s. Reminds me of when I was a child going to the arcade with my brothers. Great vintage & new games.

This place is awesome! Growing up in the 80s-90s, this place has it all for our generation of gamers! We will be back again.

Too few staff to help with customer demands. The place is cool but you'll spend a lot of time waiting for assistance if it's needed.

It's a really neat place with cool drinks. It was very loud and the service was slow.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
