Apex One Westfield

As a F1 fan, I was excited to hear about Apex One. It is a super cool space with lots of simulators. On race day, the show races projected on the wall and people can race each other on the sims. It is fun to try and it was much harder than I expected. I crashed many times. LOL. If you are a racing fan, then definitely visit and race for yourself!

This place was pretty cool. The kids absolutely loved it. It's a little pricey for 40 minutes but it's pretty thrilling. The simulation cockpit is wild. It moves pretty aggressively depending on which race you choose. F1 was amazing. You can also talk to your running mates through the mic and headphones throughout the race. The setup was nice too. They had couches in the middle so you can also wait around comfortably if yon are waiting for friends and family to finish. Definitely want to go back.

Drove 76 miles to experience the F1 watch party and do some sim racing . Great location with parking , great Sims . Good crowd and great staff. Other groups also do cars and coffee in the lot so great place to see some cars . Will be back for sure !

Came here with my Car Club. Very chill atmosphere with plenty of rigs to accommodate a 10+ person party. They have a small room if you wanted to order food and have it delivered there. I recommend this place to experience sim racing for all beginners to novice sim racers.

Apex One is a cool place! I was in town for work and decided to try it out. I opted for two sessions on the Ultimate GT rig, and it was incredible. The triple screens and motion platform were really cool to experience for the first time and very immersive. I did later learn about their "Happy Hour" deal, which runs Monday to Friday from 3-6 PM. You get a free session when you buy one, which is a great deal. It's worth noting that you need to specifically request the happy hour deal to get the discount. I

This is the greatest place on earth. From the amazing ownership to the helpful and attentive staff. Professional grade racing simulators that are super fun for the whole family. These machines are not a cheap gimmick.

Been coming here once a month for several months and can't say I've been disappointed. The sims are definitely not big boy friendly. I am 6'6" so the only sim I can do is F1 sims. The bucket seats are definitely not fluffy friendly, but it doesn't bother me (this is personal preference). All types of machines to choose from. Large waists will use the F1 machines as the rest or slim. There's options for cushions to sit on bolsters and cushions though for other machines. Fun and reasonably price for 20 min sessions.

Great place to have fun with friends and family. I took my 11 year old son and he loved it. There are different racing options and the staff is very nice and helpful. If you're not coming alone it is always good to make a reservation, so everybody can compete together. I'll definitely return for more!

For starters, this spot is really cool and I'm beyond happy to have something like this in NJ. The equipment is actually great quality and feels very solid, plus the Sparco seats are fire! If you're a bigger guy or gal, the seats are a REALLY tight fit, almost painful to sit in, but that won't be a problem for most. Couple of things I'd point out, having a sim rig/setup of my own, the drift/rally sims didn't have adjustable seat brackets so the pedals were too far and kinda ruined my first experience. Talki

It was so fun with my 4 years old son. He is too little to experience fully but he had fun on my lap, due to space we are recommended for F1 experience for the lil one. Apex One is an awesome experience! Took my husband and 6 year old here. They had a blast. The staff is really friendly and experienced. They are able to entertain a 6 yr old and a 40 yr old. The driving experience is really wonderful and entertaining. This is an awesome place to go to for fun! Will definitely be coming back many times. It's also just such a different experience than any other gaming place. It's very clean and luxurious inside.

Falsely advertises promotions on their Instagram story (@apexone.nj) and makes up excuses for not honoring them. The owner quickly became argumentative over the phone and suggested I take legal action instead of addressing the issue with a customer-first approach, which says a lot about his character. Absolutely love this place. Large, clean space. Sims are great and they have lots of events to attend. If you love racing or just want to get out of the house, this place is fun. BYOB as well!

From someone who likes everything that involves cars, could certainly tell that is one of the most realistic driving experiences you can get, highly would recommend to try it.

Me and my girlfriend decided to try this place out for a date are first one 6ths are having are son. This place was alot of fun but couple of things I didn't like it's very expensive and the seat are not tall person friendly I'm 6'2 200+ pounds and I didn't fit i was not happy about the I had to site on a cushion and that help a little not much. I am a car guy and i was super excited when this place opened now I'm not to sure about it

First time trying it out! Went for the fully rigged out station and it was super fun! The mods they use make it super easy to pick different loadouts for different skill levels too. Would def recommend

My 2 friends and I had a pretty terrible experience. The physics was way off for some reason, car shaking and spinning out on straightaways. Feedback was also excessive, one of us had major headache and nausea. We ended half way through

Loved my experience here! I had never been in a rig until today. Nothing like it, and the staff is very nice and attentive.

Update: we had good conversation with the owner and exchanged thoughts about the future experiences. Place seems to be great at first sight, unfortunately there are still problems with running it. Experience depends highly on quality of staff. First time we had more luck, second visit was rather poor service. Staff couldn't fix issues with a rig, and didnt offer to switch to another one (it was empty). Also another customers were let in ahead of our group, even as we paid first for rigs. I am extremely disappointed with this place. The simulators are really fun. They could use better headphones, though. The headphones kept falling off, and it really distracted me. But they are very high-quality Sims. They problem is their software and customer support. First of all, when you pay, they claim that they give you 5 extra minutes for troubleshooting. Great fun. Kids of all ages here. My teen was driving on the sims (and there are many here) and having a blast. I was totally comfortable on some leather couches all over and just enjoying watching him. I was tempted more then twice to join in. Great place come enjoy

This place is great! Friendly staff, plenty of space to hang with friends. Have couches and tables behind the sims. Different choices of sims depending what kind of driving experience your looking for. I can't wait to go back and improve on my time.

F1 fan here. Experience is really good. My son and I raced at BEGINER level and it was a workout. Super engaging, you really feel the car and hown t responds to your inputs. And We raced the most basic setup! Staff is mega helpful, some really know their stuff and will give you racing advice. Just know you may have to be a bit patience. These are very complicated rigs and software + this place just opened, thus you may experience some glitches. My rig "crashed" for a bit but team was on it immediately

Overall, we had a really fun time! Some areas of opportunity noted, including a need for an orientation before starting the session. Which control/button is for what, here's how to use the headset/voice option, how to back up, when to go (green), when to brake (red) etc. It took some time to figure out everything and you only have 20 min. Just a recommendation as you continue to grow business.

Came to apex and got welcomed by a pleasant and knowledgeable staff. As a person who races on a Sim often this I am very impressed. Amazing first experience at Apex One. The space is clean and plenty of room to feel comfortable and not overwhelmed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with whatever questions came up. I look forward to many more sessions here.

This is a proper simulator center. These are not arcade games. They require care, patience, and attention and will reward you with a very accurate facsimile of driving a real car on a real track. There are different types of simulator "chassis" which provide increasing levels of immersion via controls and also motion. The unit will swing, pitch, and bounce to mirror the behavior of the car. Wether you are into sim-racing, racing games, or cars in general, you HAVE to check this place out. The sims have real Sparco and Carbon Fiber seats, full motion to recreate real life movements (suspension bouncing, sliding, etc) and the wheels + pedals are race quality (alcantara, springs+dampers, etc) which makes for an extremely realistic experience? 10/10 recommend

Your the first to do what you do at the scale you do it. This was a dream of mine to own such a buisness but indeed you are missing that wow factor. My advice is to hire more enthusiastic people who can "hype up" the experience. Also once I found out it was asserta corsa I got turned off because I literally play it at my house. I mean come on guys we all know f1 2024 etc and forza motorsport is where its at! You guys got all the tools you just need to market it better and create a more exciting atmosphere.

great experience, good atmosphere

Had my first visit to Apex One today and did two 20-minute sessions. The first sim I was assigned had no force feedback or seat movement, which I didn't realize until I got going. It helped me get used to the pedals and controls, but it definitely wasn't the full experience. After the first session, I let the staff know and they moved me to a different setup with full feedback and triple screens. That second session was a huge improvement and a lot of fun. I do wish they had offered to redo the first sessio
