Fun for the young at heart! Perhaps too crowded and loud for an older person like me lol. Nevertheless, the corner putter table was perfect for our group to hang out while getting the kids? deals for the race and attractions. Good deals and I believe there's military discount. The kiddie bowling was cool. I had been in the Andretti race a while back but couldn't give u an updated review on it. We enjoyed eating and the bar was next to us. You can open a tab and close it out. They can use Apple Pay too so it
This place was awesome. These were the fastest go karts that I've ever driven. It was so much fun. They also have a bunch of virtual reality games and arcade games. They have a bar with food and everything was pretty decent.
Don't come here until they fix this place! Even the reduced prices aren't worth it! Kids having fun I guess but I hate being taken advantage with all of the broken games. I'll update if they fix them. But so much money for unlimited broken games...... Oh and no prize games that currently work..... Not the best birthday for my son..... Also, you can't buy tickets online and we had all the waivers filled out by the parents and they couldn't find any of them! NVM it got worse. I see they put a warning on the
This place was so fun.. Definately something for the whole family to enjoy. It can be a little pricey but there is so much to do and they do have some good deals if you have alot of people in a group. I recommend, there is so much to do you could literally spend the whole day there. Not to mention the food was really good.
I will say the driving is a cool experience for sure 6 people 2 adults 4 kids just under 100 bucks so it's still a little pricey but a good experience games average about $1.50 a game which is a little pricey the desert is great the drinks tasty a little over 10 a pop it were basically this alone and just the food. It definitely would?ve gotten like close to five stars but the reason why I got three stars this is my third time here and every time we come the service from the weight staff is so mediocre like
A must visit!! Very clean, friendly staff, and a lot of fun for our teens! The arcade area was extremely clean, and new machines worked very well. Go carts were awesome as well even though they were a little pricey, our teens loved the experience.
I had a great time these gokarts are something else, a little pricey but so much fun. The food was good wish we had more time to play some games while we were there. Can't wait to bring family when they come visit.
This is the coolest arcade plus go kart place that I've ever been to. I love that it's two stories, but wish that the go kart experience was a little bit longer for the price. I didn't try the food, but the bar area looked nice and the menu had a lot of options. Upon walking in, there were people holding the door for us and they were really welcoming. The vibe was right even when we walked in to get ready to race because everyone was so kind and helpful so this is where I highly recommend you go karting!
This place is really fun because there's a lot to do there where you can race, bowl, and play arcade games to name a few. This place accepts people of all ages to come and have fun. Racing is a very fun thing to do there, But they have plenty of other options if you're not into that. This place is definitely family-friendly. Kids older and younger as well as adults can have fun here.
Had a blast, pretty cool place, would love to come back and bring the kids
This place is a scam and they don't hide it. All of the arcade machines are switched off so you can't win prizes, all of the claw and ticket machines. We paid 50$ for unlimited play, and 60% of the machines were off. They advertise a peak racing/lasertag entertainment experience and their software doesn't even turn on and theirs is zero racing or fun feedback. We spent over $300 with half of this place not plugged in. When I asked the front desk he openly told me they don't turn on the machines because
The girls (6 and 10) had a great time. Had lunch - burger kids meal was very good, but prices were high. One thing I noticed - with the exception of the restaurant, there is-0- seating - they want you to keep spending money and you will. All in all, we will go again.
I planned a party here and our group had an absolute blast. Symone was very helpful in the planning process. She sent timely reminders when paperwork and decisions were due. Val assisted us the day of the event. She is super professional, organized, and so much fun. She guided our group throughout the entire day and was amazing. Honestly, I'm so glad we decided to have our party here.
Awful for a party. It was supposed to be from 1-2:30. (1-1:30) to decorate and get the party group together (get waivers..). At 1:15 I asked of i can go in because i needed the time to decorate. They said the host still needed time to clean. Finally I got in there to decorate rushing while the "host" was vacuuming and coming in and out talking to his co-worker. When everyone got in the party room I asked if we can get our food. I asked if he could bring out the kids pizza and fries first, He said I only hav
We visited andrettis 3/28 5 people all here for the first time! Here is how it all went: As soon as we walked in the staff didnt the say anything about there being a waver we need to sign. I smiled and asked what to do since it was our first time but the man i asked just looked at another employee for her to do the explaining. After that we went to the counter after paying $250 for 5 people the employee lets us know that around 60% of the arcade machines didnt work!!! We had a small hand-full of the arcade
Karts were really fun. Lots of games for kids and the tiny bowling alley looked really fun. There is also a bar for adults looking to watch their kiddos have fun from a distance. Kids will love it. Make sure to bring a few hundred bucks to ensure everyone has fun.
Huge place just by the side of a top golf. Nicest collection of new arcade games with awesome food and liquor. The crowds are great and the atmosphere is electric. They also have an indoor go cart (ofcorse its an Andretti). The vibe is lively and definitely a great place for a weekend with friends and family.
This place is fantastic. My family is in love with it. The go-carting is way better than I thought it would be - it was a hell of a lot of fun, even on the intermediate track with my kids. I can't wait to go back and challenge my wife on the Adult track, which goes up to 35 mph but requires a driver's license. That said, we did drop close to $550 for five people to have fun for five hours. That worked for us this time but it may be too expensive for some. We're doing well in SA but that's not something we
Go-karts were fun. Lots of games. Don't show up hungry. The food was overpriced for portion and quality. Game prices are about what you would expect. Bar was very understaffed for a weekend evening and smelled sour, John Taffer would have shut it down! Was an OK experience, but not a MUST.
Cool little entertainment complex. They have bowling, go karts, laser tag, video games, VR's, and more. There's a bar and a restaurant inside too. Very nice looking place with lots of cool things to do inside.
Im from Chicago and came here when it was raining out. We had a blast o the go carts and on all the games. The food was good everything top notch but definitely on the pricey side. If you live close definitely go the VIP route.
We had our older son birthday party at Andretti and we're very pleased with the place, my son and his friends had so much fun and the services were excellent; from the sale associate, the people at the door, manager to the host and server they were extremely supportive, friendly, professionally and respectfully to my guests. The foods also delicious and serving fast. They have the package which very reasonable price with all the attractions for the kids.
I would have given this 4 or 5 stars BUT we went this past weekend a party of 6 and drove about an hour an a half to get there and spent close to $500 just to find out that half of the arcade games were offline and not working. Honestly IF they would have told me before I spent so much money I would have just purchased the karts for a way cheaper price vs what I spent there. We walked around most of the time trying to keep our daughter and her friend occupied and happy. The prize area was also ?offline? so
This place was such a disappointment. We went in and bought their ?hourly wristbands? for a bday. We spent some time getting our food and drink and when it was time to play/use the arcade games, 85-90% of their games did not work! I decided to try and speak with someone who from my understanding was a manager and she stated that the only reason, they ?offer hourly rates? is because the whole company?s system has been down and a majority of the arcade games do not work? Which is not on shown on the website,
Had an event here for work, and our server Katelyn was extremely attentive and professional and made the overall experience pop. I couldn't do a survey through Andretti, so Google was the next choice. I didn't enjoy the go Karting as much. It seems like it would stop on its own a lot. But again, overall, great job, guys!!
Paid for the Go Kart & VR + Games VR machine broke mid way thru, so that was a wasted $15. Go Kart was fun but lasted maybe 5 laps, $30 Bar was expensive, espresso martini was $18 Overall 7.6/10
Several of my team members and I attended the Educators Appreciation Event that Andretti sponsored. They really catered to us. We were treated with food, games and prizes from a raffle drawing. We had a fantastic time! Thank you for shopping us some love for our service. We really appreciate it!
This was a fun location. We went 1hour before closing so it wasn't packed at all. We had the track to ourselves. Great staff. Great customer service. Reasonably priced attractions. I enjoyed the virtual reality stuff. Great drinks at the bar, and the bartender was a very nice man.
Had a 12 year old boy birthday party. The food (pizza) was cold and greasy. Thus the 4 star rating. The actual activities were outstanding. Lots of unique experiences with the race track, laser tag and other games.
This place was absolutely amazing The staff was super helpful and professional The go karts were so much fun, the race track is super kool. Also they have a great variety of video games. The place is a little pricey but totally worth it. Fun fun fun for the entire family
We took at family trip to San Antonio and we decided to go here and hang out. We had a great time and the service was awesome. Specifically Devin, the track supervisor went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. He really made us feel like we were his priority. Based on our experiences at other places, Devin is special. To have him go out of his way like he did is amazing. We will always recommend anyone to come here!
Went with my boyfriend in February & used their Couples ?Valentine?s Package? which had 1 race, 1 hr of arcade games, and 1 attraction choice per person! Paid about $100 total. The racing was cool but felt like it lasted 5 mins. The employees would slow down my car & make me pull over to the side to let other drivers pass me (they didn't explain why they would do that before or after we started so it frustrated & confused me anddd i was the only girl driving so I definitely wanted an explanation & didn't ge
We recently visited Andretti?s Indoor Karting, excited to enjoy the arcade, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. More than half the games were not working due to their system being hacked. While I understand that issues like this can happen, what was unacceptable was the complete lack of communication from the staff. No one informed us that the games wouldn't work properly or that we wouldn't be able to accumulate points. Had we known this upfront, we never would have spent over $125 on
This is in an area I learned from the police is a hotbed for vehicle break-ins. I learned this while my truck sat in the well lit parking lot for 1 hour and was broken into, ransacked, and interior destroyed. The manager was helpful and provided info to give the police. Dr. Pepper at the bar tasted like dirt. Bud light tasted off. Cut my hand on the VR Racing. The first aid kit in the sales office was out of bandaid ( I had to search myself because I got tired of waiting for someone to come in there). It
This restaurant in San Antonio Tx doesn't even deserve one star, we drove 3 hrs to bring our kids to have some fun and eat. We sat at a table for over 40 minutes waiting for service. While waiting the servers tended to 5 different families that each arrived after us and the servers were just hanging at the bar watching tv. We were 4 in our party sitting at a table just waiting but they never even bothered to check if we were being helped. Kids and us were very disappointed. We have been customers for many
Cool indoor Go-Karts track. Has a plethora of arcade games, mostly new school arcades. Go Karts are super fun, easy enough for beginners or kids. Beer and food is served here's well as duck-pin bowling. Cool place to go to with a small group. My advice: go on a weekday, and save yourself the trouble of a 1000 kids. Groupon is also available at the time of writing this.
First time visit on a Sunday morning, and this is a very impressive operation. They are the first business I've been to since relaxing COVID restrictions with excellent staffing. Christian S ?? at the front desk waved my family down to make sure we were helped; I was extremely impressed with how well he handled a family of 7's first time there. We were there for the racing and he knew all the height and age requirements to best advise us. Very smooth operation, and again well staffed racing area. Purchasing
We had a blast ! Well organised indoor games place and best for any events . Love the restaurants . Many fun activities for the kids . Clean place and sanitisation happening very frequently. The staff and security is awesome. I would definitely visit again and recommend others to plan any parties or business events .
75.00 most arcade games were down staff was very rude go karts were fun but couldn't even keep score due to systems being down I don't think it is worth your money pin stack is better! Most of the games were down please do not waste your money here !! The VR game even blacked out on us did not have one good experience with any of the activities and games also lazer tag didn't even count score.
Visited for the first time and everything was going great until we encountered Cody back in the Go-Cart reception area. Bald bearded guy that has zero communication or customer service skills. Not helpful at all with navigating the process. Instead he says ?right now you guys are in my way, please step to the side?!! Will have to get this experience out of my head before consider going back.
Awesome for all ages! Something here for everyone! Priced appropriately. Friendly, helpful staff who are great with the kids and, at letting the adults relax a bit! We keep coming back! Enjoy it every time! Hope you guys do, too!
Jefferson - Starting Line was a 20 out of 10. Completely phenomenal. I brought my cousin/baby sister and her son to Andretti, San Antonio, TX location, for the first time. She was taken back by Jefferson?s professionalism and patience as she learned the process. He gave our entire family a wholesome experience.
Excellent place to drop your kids and GO, hahaha. Just kidding. But in reality, it's a good place for the kids and teenagers alike. Prices are a little high, so be ready to spend some cash. Besides Arcade which games are really nice, Every other major attraction you have to pay separately, anywhere from $10-$23, they have some composici?n, and they have food. Place gets packed, so go early if you can.
Andretti's has started to have F1 Watch Party's on Sundays. We have gone twice since we found out about it. This past Saturday they opened early for the race and had a breakfast menu. The 1st time we watched from the Bar and the 2nd time they put us in a party room which was nice because we could hear the race. I know this is a new thing for them so we are trying to be patient with the learning curve for them. This past Saturday 5/18 they offered breakfast with was a good price. However you could tell they
I'm not gonna trash talk the other gokart places around but I can't see myself visiting them after going to andretti. This place is so fun. And YES.. it's a bit expensive. But look how much they have invested in it!. This place is amazing. I've spent just as much at main event and didn't have nearly as much fun. This is basically main event with an awesome 3 tier gokart track. You will not be disappointed as long as you're OK spending a little money. It's totally worth it. You can't out a price on the looks
I have to say that this is one of the nicest ,cleanest , and well organized place to hangout . If your taking the family out or going on a date. It's like a main event ,my children told me it was better then k1 speed and, they had more fun, and bar with food wrapped in one . Normally I don't leave reviews, but this place was to nice , people only hear about the bad , it was completely packed and there was an 600 person event and they were short staffed, but it definitely didn't feel that way , especially t
Meh...we went to play Mario Cart and 2 of the 4 didn't work so we moved games and several were out of order. This usually wouldn't be an issue but the last 2 time we went it was the same way. It's like they are letting this go downhill but still charging premium prices. Just not impressed by this.
The go karts are probably the best part. My 4 year old had a blast. Andrew was working and he was really patient and kind and even answered questions about the local area for us. The games feel fair priced, but they are loud, it's hard to hear anything and you can't really escape. The food was meh and not a wide drink selection. The waiter kept pressuring us to open a tab and seemed nervous that we wanted to pay in cash. The place was clean and security seemed to keep everything running smoothly. I wish the
Well wasnt expecting to go here, but ended up having a good time for my birthday. A little pricey but the driving was spectacular. It is very loud upon entry. And we ended up eating elsewhere even though it looked good the seating wasnt that great and I dont want to yell across the table. Lots to do, and you could spend all day and all paycheck in the process. But for 4 to drive and a round of lazer tag we kept it under 200$. Staff everywhere was very friendly and helpful. Back again, not very crowded but a
We had so much fun. There were many 4 player games which is cool. Everything was clean and we were greeted at the door by an employee who asked if it was our first time there and gave us useful information. She also held the door open when we left. This is way better than Main Event. We will try out the go karts, VR, and Laser Tag next time.
Had my son?s birthday party there and he and his friends had a great time. Our host was great. Kept us on time with the itinerary and made sure we had what we needed.
1st time visiting with my Wife. We purchased 2 Adult races and 2 Motion Reality Packages ($135 value). Schedule races were first and we had a load of fun! Prep room can get a bit stuffy while watching the safety video - after the race you are emailed race times (My Wife - 2nd/12th place, Myself - 7th/12th place). Next we did the Zombies Hologate VR experience, which was quite stimulating! We ordered 2 Raspberry Lemon Drops from the bar ($35 value). **My only concern is the fact that the bartender prepped dr
Super fun, clean? restrooms were constantly being maintained. Nice bar staff? and lets mention our party host Bradley!! This guy was super patient, attentive & explained everything very well. When booking my reservation for the party, Alessandro was on top of it & super sweet! ??
Great experience! A little loud, but what arcade isn't! The karts were fast and exciting! We went during Spring Break and we still didn't have to wait very long to do any of the attractions. The staff did a good job of staying upbeat and courteous. The food was good as well.
Do not waste your money at this place! They will rip you off and scam you out of money! They expect you to adhere to a contract when planning a birthday party but when you cancel within the window you have, their system goes down?for weeks? And we are still fighting for our refund! Absolute chaos
MY 3RD TIME HAVING A PARTY HERE. THIS TIME WE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR MY SONS GRADUATION. THANKS TO OUR HOST AVERY AND GABRIEL. THINGS STARTED OUT ROUGH BUT THE COMPANY WAS QUICK TO FIX EVERYTHING. EVERY DOLLAR SPENT WAS WORTH IT. THANKS TO JASMINE AND SYMONE AS WELL FOR BEING PROFESSIONAL. I WAS ALLOWED TO HAVE A DJ AND DECORATIONS.I LOVE THE FACT THAT I AM NOT LIMITED ON WHAT I WANT WHEN I RESERVE A SPACE HERE. WHEN YOU SPEND THOUSANDS I EXPECT THINGS TO BE A CERTAIN WAY. IF THERE IS AN ERROR AGAIN
Prepare to have a great time. So many options to choose from. A bit pricey, but well worth the family fun. Teenagers enjoyed the go karts, bowling and the virtual gaming. It seems like a popular place, so it gets a bit crowded and definitely no social distancing, but hand sanitizer is available throughout multiple stations. Recommend you stop by and try out the go karts, it's a blast!!!
Andretti is fun, I will say that the ability for staff to control the go karts and slow everyone down is super annoying. For karts, I prefer K1. Overall, the family had fun with the various activities here including Laser tag.
We visited Andretti Indoor Karting and Games after being next door for another activity. We enjoyed all the games available for both children and adults. The go karts were lots of fun for my kiddos and husband as well as other members of my family. My husband lost his phone while on the go kart, and the entire staff was super helpful. It was later found after being run over, but staff was super nice and apologetic (even though it was not their fault). Overall a fun experience for us.
Great times to be had! We went there for a work function and the catered food was delicious! There are so many games to keep you occupied, and the kart racing was a blast! Also, you don't need to rent shoes for bowling. You can keep yours on!
This place is fantastic. We took our daughter to a birthday party here and she loved it. Lots of arcade games to played. They have some extras if you want to play more. Like an elevated obstacle course, go karts, VR games and laser tag. They serve food and alcoholic beverages. Overall had great time.
It was really fun! The kart race felt thrilling, although one part was annoying which is when we paid for our kart racing, it mentioned on the receipt to be there before the race in 30 minutes, we went there early and the worker told us we're super early! And that we should be here 3 minutes before the race.
They didn't have scoring for the racing. Why come if you can't see who wins? Have to pay full price either way? Should offer discount if it's ?just for fun? as they told me after I asked for placement of the race?
The kids really love the indoor racing and of course the arcade games. To me it's a little pricey for what you get. There are places with outdoor racing and it's way cheaper and to me I think it's way more fun. They do offer other attractions like laser tag, 3d theater, and VR games but like I said still expensive for the short time you get to play those attractions. But all in all the kids enjoyed it and that's all that matters.
Carts were fine. The games were terrible. 80% of the 2-4 player games were broken, leaving only games of change and claw machines. Which are just blatant money pulls that feel like a disgusting casino for children. I will never go back.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! None of the arcade games give out tickets. They've turned off all of the non-ticket machines so you cannot win prizes. The timing on the go-karts does not work. And you don't find out about any of this until after you've paid. It was the most frustrating experience our family of 6 has ever had at an arcade. Save yourself the frustration and just go somewhere else.
Nice place a good place to hangout, alot of games were not working. In a kids party be aware when it's time for the kids to play free games ITS ONLY A FEW THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE KIDS PARTY and everyone is trying to play the same 10 games between 4 or 5 parties and the general public TERRIBLE.
Really enjoyed this place! I compare it to Main Event but bigger. The bar and food selection are awesome. The games are all new and the virtual reality games are amazing. The indoor carting is one of a kind. I've never seem anything like it! Getting prepared to cart gets confusing so stay close to your kids. If you get a 6:30 cart time expect a 20min delay. I also recommend you ask the worker to add extra disinfectant to your helmet. You'll have a blast carting in this place, it makes K1 look like it's for
Service was great! A young man named Devin made sure he went above and beyond to make sure I had a good time while visiting family in San Antonio. Would 100% recommend to friends and will definitely come back!
Loved this so much. Haven't been in so long.
We had the most experience. All the employees were rude and expected us to know what to do or what was going on. Spend a lot of money for us to not even know what was going on, tried the VR experience and the chair didn't even work. Will not be returning and they should train people to be nicer and properly inform people on what to do.
Great place to enjoy all kinds of fun activities, great food and customer service. Should be no complaints about anything just as long as you remind yourself that, you're there to enjoy with family so bring some money ?? Now if you'll excuse me, I have a race to win ??
NEVER RETURNING! My first visit to Andretti (on Sunday, January 26, around 4 PM) was a complete disappointment. I went with my mom, brother, and my mom?s friend and her child, expecting a fun experience. Initially, the door greeter was polite, which made me hopeful. Unfortunately, the rest of the visit was far from pleasant. When it came time for the kids to go karting, the experience quickly soured. My mom and her friend, who are Mexican and speak English well, needed minor assistance with the registratio
The perfect location for a family outing, first date or rainy day. From arcade games to bowling to laser tag and go-cart racing there is something for everyone of any age. The prizes are legit and not overpriced. The cards are easy to use and relatively well priced. I would return for another day of fun.
Had an amazing time at Andretti Indoor Karting in San Antonio! The go-karts were thrilling and the experience was packed with fun. Highly recommend for a great day out!
Visited for a company event. Nice facility. Lots to do. Excellent and friendly staff. Got there early and sat at the bar. The racing looked fun; but I had to leave early so I didn't participate. Still enjoyed myself. Thank you. Biggest takeaways: professional and friendly staff.
My wife and I were invited to dinner here by one of her friends family. We met them at a table next to the bar and ordered some food and drinks. The drinks were very flat, and my burger was not made right. When we sent things back a second time, a manager came over to ask what was going on. He then presented us with six unlimited game passes that are good for one hour each when activated. My wife and I used two of these, and we had a great time. It made up for the subpar food service. When my wife and I che
Went there in hopes of driving the cars with a group of four and were surprised to see that the prices were so high for an eight minute experience on the track. We watched for a while just to see if it was worth it and didn't feel like we wanted to pay that kind of money for a Quiktrip around the track. A lot of arcade games were not working so we just left.
I received a gift pack from my daughter in December to attend Andretti at my own leisure. My son and I went yesterday and were told the gift pack had expired. My family and I go to many venues around San Antonio and never seen a place that won't honor what you paid for. We will never return here.
Visited on Memorial Day and to my surprise and pleasure it was not that crowded. I especially enjoyed the fact that my 4 year old was able to drive on a kid track by himself. You will have to plan on having separate scheduled race times if you attend with different age groups or a big group. The facility is laid out nicely, the A/C is cold, and it's not super noisy. You will come outta pocket tho, so just go and have a good time because that's what its all about.
This is a really fun place to visit. The food was decent, but could've been better if it were hot instead of barely warm. The games were decent and I liked the idea that you use the card that they issue you for pretty much every thing. The go karts (intermediate) was fun, but I wish you could actually pass each other on the track.
It's always been overpriced but we were satisfied for the most part. Now, almost no games work consistently, the calibrated the games to give almost no tickets for games that cost at least a dollar for a few seconds of game time Probably gonna be our last time since literally every game my kids want to play is broken or calibrated to make it not fun. You can make money while having a decent establishment. You don't have to run skeleton crews and penny pinch kids games to get an extra buck.
Awesome place. I knew I had to try this place out from the first time I saw it and I'm glad I did. What a fun experience. From go karts, to the arcade or laser tag to so much more they have to offer. Definitely a good time.
Awesome place for any event! Plenty of Food & Drinks? TV?s. Etc. Arcade is also really up-to-date & there r plenty of other cool attractions too.
Took the family on a nice outting here only to find out (conveniently after we paid) that 90% of the games DONT WORK And we would be receiving no tickets/prizes. Extremely boring to just walk around for 2 hours and have to play the same games over and over and over again. It felt like I got scammed, genuinely. Your better off going to main event or even peter Piper. So moral of the story, make sure you check that their "system" is working before paying??
I'm sure this was on purpose otherwise they wouldn't make money but they didn't bother to tell anyone the arcades were not working. Not when I signed the waiver. Not when I paid. Neither were the races time counter working. Absolutely waste of money. Two other families told us the same thing after walking out having paid for three hours, only one hour in
This place was beyond disappointing. Our experience was pretty awful. They had absolutely horrible customer service, the food was pretty poor quality. The menus were sticky and the kids were given used, broken crayons with their menus? We waited over 2 hours just to ride the little Mario carts. It was super over priced for what you get. We will be sticking with Main Event for our Birthday Parties. The service is top notch and it's much much cleaner. I hate that I even have to give 1 star. This place would b
Amazing!!! Laser Tag, Go Kart racing, mini-zip line, VR gaming, and an arcade full of games! This was nothing but overall fun. The only thing I would recommend is if your taking your kids go karting let them race and have a blast and I recommend doing an adult race if you want to have a good little adrenaline rush yourself. I barely fit into the actual junior go kart to race my kiddos but it was worth it and we did have fun. So to each his own.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
