Customer Reviews

Had the best time at this place! They have it all but the go carts are awesome! They are fast enough to really give you a thrill to run on. We went twice in one night and the second time was even better than the first. Highly recommend trying this out!

Excellent for family fun. They had several birthday parties happening and they even have a VIP lounge. There is something to do for 3 year olds 30 year olds and 60 year olds. The bowling lanes are great and most of the people that work there are friendly. I came across two that obviously didn't want to be accommodating but it didn't ruin the experience. My grandson enjoyed his 12th birthday.

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is a massive venue packed with a ton of activities, including miniature bowling, a giant arcade, and indoor kart racing. The staff is helpful and ensures you have a great time. There are also decent food options available, making it a good spot for both fun and a quick bite. It's a great place for a group outing or a fun day with friends and family!

I had my son?s birthday party here. The kids enjoyed themselves but as a parent, I was left feeling frustrated. The communication was terrible, our host was unaware of what was going on the entire time. Our balloons and cupcakes I paid for were discarded, one of my son?s gifts were stolen, and we didn't get everything in the full throttle package that was offered. So I would not recommend having a party here. I am still waiting on someone to follow up with me.

Kids are on spring break and couldn't wait to visit Andretti for a fun day. The software systems are STILL not working. No tickets being given. We were told no tickets but were not told half the machines are not working or we would have left and saved $40??. Machines with stuffed animals are not working. Half the games are not operational. Kids are ready to leave after 20 mins. Huge waste of money and disappointment for their ?fun? day. I would suggest calling before coming to make sure their systems are ba

Allow me to start with our waiter, Kourtlny F., she was an outstanding waitress. I was confused on what exactly to eat and she personally recommended an excellent choice on some awesome wings. And then I would highly praise the GM Madison. She was more than accommodating to our needs. So thank you guys. We definitely will be back as well as recommend others. Again, thank you. Jay F.

My husband and I visited on 11/04/23 it was packed with people, but fun. In my opinion the prices were a little high, but we wanted to experience it anyways. Most of the games are around 40 points or higher. We purchased a $20 play card, and had 500 points to use for gaming. The customer service was good. There are lots of games to play I would recommend.

We had a fun experience with out 6 year old. He loves racing on the Mini Mario Kart track. Plenty of seating to watch him and so man fun games. My wife loves her ding ding machines. Lol! Anyway, fun prizes and drink were worth the price. We didn't get to adult Kart on this visit but we will be back. Looks like so much fun. Duck Pin Bowling and the party rooms look good too! Update:: just did a Saturday Morning Watch Party!! So fun!! Breakfast was so good, the service was great.

They waited until after we paid to tell us the arcade wasn't doing tickets. No problem. We get there and over half the games aren't even working. The best part about it was the bowling, and even that was not worth the 150 I paid for two tickets. Had they told me that, we would have come back another day. As it is, it wasn't a very good experience for a first impression and I probably won't give it another try for a long while.

A lot of fun. Kids loved it. Food was good too. Everyone i spoke to that worked there were very friendly. Highly recommend

Hello Andretti team, Absolutely? we had blast at Andretti. It will be our Go to place now onwards. Food was excellent,? service was prompt.? Games were too many and luckily all of them worked unlike some other places.. so everyone at the Party had?a great time and blast and they walked out of the room as exhausted as an Energizer bunny happy at heart but soared in body. They played so much. Bowling was a lot of fun for adults. We surely would love to recommend Madison as our Party host. She was full of G

I've been here before and I've had a great experience but today the systems were down and majority of the games aren't working. You don't get tickets for the games and there aren't any score available for the racing. I feel as if the staff should have communicated all of these things before having customers pay. This takes away from the Andretti experience. The food selection is limited to pizza and tenders. We are still expected to pay full price for half the service which isn't fair.

We had a great time especially being 1st timers! It wasn't crowded at all on a Monday around 1p... Most of the staff was very helpful except the girl working the ticket redemption desk! She seems annoyed by any questions we asked & preoccupied with her phone... We'll definitely go back and hang out, hopefully she's off or working another area.

We came in with our son's baseball team for a party. We had a great time riding go karts, playing lazer tag, video games, and eating. The staff was helpful and friendly. They offer bowling also! The drinks and food were great. Everything was very clean.

My kids who are 24, 18, 17 & 15 really enjoyed themselves! I enjoyed bowling too!!!!!

The staff was so kind to my son and his friends. From the time I walked in, Sabrina and the staff at the front desk were awesome in helping explain the options to me. Kourtlyn our server in the restaurant was so accommodating to the boys. This was our first experience at Andretti?s. We'll definitely be back.

Me and my fiance came here today. Waited about 15, minutes to get everything, and the weekend deal seemed pretty simple. We purchased us both races and 2 hours in the arcade. They made it clear that no tickets come out of this so you cannot claim a prize at the prize booth. Which the stuff is crap anyway so we were fine with it we do our race immediately and the coordination was very confusing we got put with the intermittent race instead of the adult like I waited in line for, and when we finished the scre

My husband and I threw my daughter?s birthday party here this past weekend and it was AMAZING!!!! From the moment we stepped in the door, everything was taken care of, and they rolled out a concierge type service that is unmatched. They seamlessly checked in all of our guests (we had 20 kids plus each of their parents), personally had employees walk our guest as they arrived to our ballroom, had the food, helped assist with our event decorators, changed all the big screens to the football games for our pare

The overall atmosphere is nice the staff is nice for the most part. My issue is with the restaurant/food and some games. It would be nice if they made sure all the games worked so that people aren't wasting their money. Now on to the food. I am writing this review as I sit in their bathroom from what I believe is food poisoning. I've been in here for over an hour on and off. This has been one of the worst food experiences of my life.

I'm in my late 20?s and had forgotten how much fun the classic arcade experience could be! Especially with a few friends. Not to mention the main attraction - the go karts! They were nice and zippy and the track was cool!

My three young kids really love it here and I think it's cleaner than Dave & Buster?s. They are still too young to try most of the activities, but the arcade is great! There was a young man at the entrance yesterday who was so very helpful; I wish I had complimented him to his manager.

We had my daughter's birthday party here and they did a great job. The party package is great and the person who was assigned to help us took great care of us. The food was good and all of the attractions were well maintained. We would do it again. In fa t we have already had 3 birthday parties there.

Nice place to enjoy either with friends, family or business colleagues. The indoor go cart experience was great. Mini bowling and laser tag was nice too. They have a full bar as well as good food

Amazing service! Amazing food! We were checked on by 5 other employees other than our waitress who was awesome and very assertive! Our waitress was Kourtlyn and she was amazing! Food was hot and tasted great! Awesome service awesome employees! Very clean also!

We went there for the very 1st time and my adult daughter got hurt. A speeding driver rammed into her go-kart from behind and she was slammed forcefully to the curb. She got injured in the neck and foot. If she wasn't wearing the helmet, it could have been far worse. She had to be assisted to get off from the track and then go to the car in the parking lot. We took her immediately to an urgent care, luckily there was no internal injury to the brain. Even though there are signs displayed everywhere against

Enjoyed the birthday party that my daughter was invited to. Had a great time, HOWEVER, I paid $34 for chicken tenders, fries and a strawberry lemonade. I felt like that was a little too steep of a bill, considering it was nothing to rave about expect the strawberry lemonade. I was hungry, so I made the best of my food choice. Next time, I would eat somewhere else before coming.

I left this place today with my friend. However, the best thing about this place is the food. Other than the arcade and the race carting. This was our first time at this place and will be the last because we felt cheated. They charge 30 dollars for the go cart race and it was only 15 minutes, which was not enough time to race. Also, you have to pay to use the card to play the games. However, everytime you swipe the card to play any games, they only last like 5 seconds and that is over. And you dont get tha

Very very very very very very overpriced. The laser tag, go karts, and arcade games, don't even talk about it. Its just ridiculous. However the bowlings fine. Its just 5 bucks for an hour. But its is duckpin bowling. Just letting you know. The arcades, fine, not like super!

The go carting was great fun. Vending machines and food and drink way over priced on top of the packages they have. Ordered nachos 17$ took 40 minutes arrived cold. F1 race even was fine. Place could do better.

First time here or any Andretti location for that matter. I booked a birthday party and the experience was very smooth. Upon arrival they had a table specifically for reservations..outside of that you would probably go to the counter for certain activities. There is a bar you can walk right over too and the arcade is open to where you can get a card from the machine to play games. You can also order food and I'm mentioning these things you can do without going to the front counter. There was plenty of parki

The food was excellent. 80% of the staff was awesome and very professional. I didn't like the fact that we had to look at the video 3 times for the kart racing. Getting checked in took a long time, even though we were the second in line. I think it would help if they had more than one register open. My kids enjoyed themselves. I would recommend this place.

My family and I experienced Andretti for the first time. Laith (One of the cashiers) explained everything in details with such grace and patience. The prices including the laser tag was very affordable. The gentleman with the locks who was running the laser area allowed me to come inside to make sure my grandson who is ADHD was ok. One of the workers (a young lady) took extra time out to also make sure my grandson's questions were asked before riding the go Nascar. We had an absolute ball. There were so mu

I came when it just opened and I like that we practically had the place to ourselves, games were good but just remember to save all your cards from the coin pushers until the very end cause once you put them in the machine they're gone. The main problem was during the Karting race, as when I went into the video room, they emphasised that the winner is determined by the fastest lap and that any reckless driving is not allowed. This is stuff I already knew before walking into the centre. On the starting line,

Everything was amazing! The staff did their thing, the sales manager was so helpful and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and when we got there, the manager greeted me before she left and made sure we was good and the host was amazing! Matt was so professional and kept us in the loop and made sure we got to our destinations on time. He made sure we had what we need. Thank u guys for making my son?s 25th birthday memorable!!

Great place to bring the entire family. My son felt in love with go karting and now has a new hobby.

Really cool place. Good environment very state of the art. Kart racing was a blast! My only complaint is they don't police bumping and blocking enough. Also, some races can be spent going very slow because of crashes . Hard to get a good run in. I'd probably recommend renting an entire session to avoid getting children that intentionally block and wreck you. Other than that, I had a great time. Would definitely go again.

This place is absolute garbage. Came twice in four days, ?system? was down so no prizes. Half the games don't work. Waited 25 minutes the first night and 40 minute the second night after being seated for a server. When they did come, they had an absolute attitude like we were a bother to them. Food was cold. Can't tip if paying by credit card. Go to Dave & Busters instead, and somewhere else for go carting. Over priced and absolutely the worst service I've experienced.

We've been bowling here a few times. Both times have been good. The food is pretty basic bar food but good still. Drinks are a little pricey but overall good experience and safe for the family

I went with my Husband, Stepson, daughter in law and son. When we entered the facility, the wait was not long and getting waivers done was simple enough. Jonah is 12 and was measured at home as tall enough for intermediate track, but their height measurement thing showed different so they made him ride junior. There are different lines for which age group you're with, and the adult line was packed, intermediate line was packed and junior line was really short. Only us and one other kid and parent. Everyone

We had a blast! Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Place was clean. Food was good. Had an issue with one of the games and all we had to do was scan the qr code on the machine and a tech came right out and fixed it! We will definitely be back!!

While visiting with my family if four, we had lunch at the Andretti?s cafe. Excellent service and delicious food!! Our server, Antonia, was very attentive and friendly. Management checked on our table several times. We had wings, fajitas and chicken tenders. We'll definitely come back!

This was our first visit and we set up an event in advance for a Birthday party. The carts are soooo much fun. Overall we would recommend it if you can afford it. This was a sweet 16th so we wanted to make it special and memorable. The staff was great and the food was pretty good as well. Lots of fun for all.

The expense does not match the fun! That you are supposed to be having. I just think that for the amount of money that you spend there, it should be good quality or at least decent in my case it was not. The go kart racing was for 7 minutes which was so quick I couldn't even believe it was over. They spent more time showing you a video of safety than the whole race itself. Majority of the games weren't even working and to try to track somebody down when it is packed kind of sucks! I usually don't write re

This place was really amazing. I had a blast with my son. We went there during his spring break and went for the VIP package as it included everything. The best part obviously is the Go-Karts ... Second the VR, the 3D theater needs an update, honestly the projector screen was dimmed. Laser Tag was cool, just room needs more fog so you can see the beams. Overall the games were cool, food options were great and decently priced. Super friendly staff from the front door to the managers checking in on you to mak

Anthony sanders was a fantastic employee he made my day and was extremely kind. 10/10 experience. He definitely deserves a raise. I had the best time thanks to him!!!!

Conveniently located just south of I-85 on Hwy 20 in Buford is one of the best entertainment centers around Atlanta, the Andretti Karting and Gaming center. But it's much more then that. It features a restaurant, lazer tag, bowling alley, huge electronic gaming room, bar, multi level indoor Karting center with 3 tracks and a half dozen rooms for celebrating special events. I found every staff member to be friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were very good. Prices are reasonable considering the quality

?My 8-year-old and I had an amazing time at Andretti?s! The go-karts were a blast, and the arcade games kept us entertained for hours. The staff was super friendly, and everything was really clean and well-maintained. We can't wait to come back!?

We had our kids birthday here and the host was gracious and nice. However it was impossible to get basic service at their restaurant .. we had to ask three times and wait an hour for water. It was bewildering. The server was very rude .. and almost demanded cash tips. I didn't want to ruin anyone?s day and didn't have the heart to withhold their tips but was tempted. Perhaps it's special attitude reserved towards Asians .. I honestly dont know.

They have this new drink. It's a peach lemon drop and it's absolutely delicious! Great customer service!

Fun location with plenty of space including 2 adult cart tracks & 1 kiddie track, large game arcade with all the latest & classic games. Large staff on hand plus Gwinnett deputies for security. Nice food court and rentable private rooms for parties. Popular attraction and you can get online in advance to purchase popular cart rides and extras. Kept clean too!

Came on Father's Day. Ran into an issue that had me annoyed enough to send a comment to CS. But then they found us and totally made up for it. Sabrina and every employee we interacted with are great! Thank you for turning our day around for us!

What a great addition to Gwinnett County! I just had the opportunity to get a first look at this facility and it did not disappoint. A 3 story kart track! Duckpin bowling! Great bar and restaurant....and where did they find so many friendly and helpful employees??? Great experience!

Prices are way higher compared to Malibu in Norcross and Main event in Suwanee. Games also require alot of points to even play, so you don't play much. Claw machines all were scams. It loosely grabs the item and of course let's it go. We literally got a toy with every attempt, but it let it go every. Single. Time. Limited bowling alleys and more expensive than Main Event. Go Karting for kids 5 and younger have to go to the mario kart. While everyone else can go to the regular one. Staff in the front said ma

Kathryn and her team did an amazing job hosting our company team out! The room was spacious, the food was delicious, and the team had a blast! Huge shoutout to all of the staff that helped throughout the day! We will definitely be back in the future!

Took my two daughters (7 and 9) to drive karts. We had previously bought a family VIP membership and 3 race pack at the Marietta location. We did not know that you cannot transfer that, however Rakiem, the manager, demonstrated real customer service and problem solving skills - transferring the credits and saying he would work it all out later. It took a bit of time (30 mins!) but we stuck with it. Kids got to drive, had a blast! Clean facility. The VR games in the arcade are great fun too.

I did not get my refund when all of their amenities were backed up and I did not get on the cart, they said because I put a helmet on they can't refund me my money, but I never got to go on to the car. They told me I have to wait fifty minutes at the counter to bowl or they will give away my slot even though I have already paid.

The service here sucks all the way around. I paid $88 for the junior Mario track race for my 6 yr olds and we waited almost an hour before a track marshal came to set the kids up in their cars. Then after 1 lap she said she had to take them off the track because they kept bumping into the bumpers...smh. She offered them no instruction on how to work the cars and refused to give is a refund. So we go to the dining area to eat and were seated at a dirty table and it took forever to get our food and drinks. N

We went for a 7 year old birthday party and our kids had a blast. Multiple activities and opportunities for kids to be engaged. We loved the variety of activities they had. Wished we had a longer time in the laser tag and cart racing, but our kids left tired!

This place is in a very new area called The exchange. We took my husband there for Father's Day and it was super crowded. There was a 5-hour wait to get on the go cars we took hard pass on that weight and instead played laser tag. We had so much fun it was incredible. Even though we had about five tiny little kids playing with us but we we all enjoyed ourselves very much.

me and my sister love playing the arcade games here. The duck bowling is so fun but the service here kinda sucks. So if you want food and drinks, you should go before. so that when you come here all you do is play games and bowl. It is pricey but a lot of fun. :)

Racing isn't a must, it's hard to enjoy with all of the controlling that is done with the speed checks, however I do understand that this is for safety reasons. Laser tag was fun but runs short. The arcade games are fun and the bowling is the best part! Food was okay, service from bowling area & food staff was good! Very clean and well kept arcade. However the front desk people were not the friendliest.

1st time there. Food was cold. Manager said because Saturday is a busy day the food doesn't get out quickly. She literally proceedstogive us a discounton foodwe didn't eat. The nachos were decent but then I ended up in the bathroom evert I got home. Sounds like you all need to hire a food ??????? Go Karting is rigged to just slow ?? your car down I had to ask why my car was not accelerating and that's when they let me basically join the race. My husband and I were the last 2 in the back so it was ridiculou

Our company had a great time until the end, BUT.... The manager would not let our employees take rest of the purchased food home with them. I asked the manager what happens to the food, he said" they throw it all away. " His answer was "we are responsible if someone gets sick" This is true then every fast food restaurant is the same way. Once again the service was great and our employees had a great time. But, something should be done with the food responsibly.

Top of the line fun and entertainment. A little pricy but worth it. Had a lot of games and simulators you dont find anywhere else. Took my grandkids, 5, 6 and 7 and they loved it. Great set up and location near the Mall of GA and new Top golf. We will definitely come back for more fun. Had a blast.

The place is awesome. It's new, so it is clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to navigate through the place just fine. The perfect time to go is definitely during the week versus the weekend. They have a bar too.

Had our son BD party here it was super nice, the vip room were beautiful was decorated with a Christmas tree, music was a vibe, our host Hailey was helpful and kept us on track with everything. I loved the fact that they have a variety of food options

Holy cow, let's start with the best: the staff. It's like they took the Disney model, because nearly all the staff were above and beyond and were very accommodating! We bought 2 vip packages for 2 kids, and employees kept encouraging us (parents) participate in the activities with them. It was a lot of fun. Make sure you do a bit of research on the packages and activities, so you know which one to get. Make sure you're very clear on who can do what, and what comes with each package. This place was great.

Allow me to, personally, run down FACTS specifically regarding Andretti's - Buford, GA. Full transparency, we do NOT know anyone at this establishment... First, to credential this review: I am the CEO & co-founder of 2 nonprofits and a Content Creation Gaming & Design Firm. In addition, I am the Youth Ambassador for City of Atlanta - Office of the Honorable Mayor Andre Dickens. But enough about me. Let's get to the review... After attempting, unsuccessfully, to reserve a party, we drove out to Andretti's

We had soooo much fun here. The arcade games are super exciting and immersing. I love the NERF shooting game and the rollercoaster VR ride was super realistic. Games are way more diverse and affordable compared to other arcades, and the best part is the fact that they are not stingy with the prizes. I'm not a huge fan of carting (or driving in general) but my husband loved it a lot and it was sure a great experience! As you can see, I won two giant cheep cheeps!!

Very disorganized chaotic place. Twice we have tried to redeem our cards for laser tag and twice we ended up leaving. There is line or queue that is enforced no worker at the door. Just these bad ass kids with no supervision or home training. Pass.

Visit was super pricey for our family of 7, which was expected, however the fun was far less than expected. I got stuck in the back on the go karts and was never able to pass the person in front of me due to their driving. Not fun spending $40 to follow someone for 8 minutes and not get to enjoy the ride. The $10 arcade card was a joke. Only lasted a couple games. Games are all way overpriced. Laser tag was fun however it was much smaller than other places. Left feeling very disappointed. I doubt we will

We had an issue with a giftcard we were using. The desk staff said we could only use the giftcard for certain areas. We talked with the manager and he was able to make it happen. That was great because we were there for my daughter to play games wgile she was out of school. It was a $250 giftcard and she played about 2 hours of games. We keft with a ton of cheap prizes. She was happy. It was a good day. I appreciate the help from the manager, I just wish that everyone at the front counter had the same know

I agree with the same reviews made earlier today. $30 per person for a 8 minute ?race? (driving around the track? ???? won't be returning

For a 12 year old kid it's about $32.00 per kid for go carting .That lasted about 10 minutes. Also had a appetizer and 3 Pepsi for about $60.00. kinda expensive

Please read. I purchased three combo tickets online for my son and two of his friends to celebrate his upcoming 11th birthday. (Go kart, laser tag etc) However, when we arrived at the venue for the "race," we were informed that they could only race in the junior category due to their age of 10, even though they met the height requirement for the cars. Interestingly, my son had raced in the same location twice last year when he was 10 in the intermediate category. Unfortunately, the staff insisted on this r

My son and I went here to ride some go carts. We have never been here before so we weren't sure of the process. We got in line, made it to the front, and a host asked us if we have filled out the waiver. We said "not yet" and he directed us to a kiosk off to the side, out of the line. So we filled out the waiver and tried to get back in line, but because we got out of line, he said we had to get back in line at the back and start the wait all over again. By then, there were more people in line and only one

Was visiting the area and took my nephew. The place has video games, bowling alley, laser tag, food, an adult bar and two indoor race tracks. 1 for small kids and one for everyone else. My nephew gave this place the big two Thumbs up ?? ??and a high five!!

Enjoyed being out with the family had a wonderful time. Staff and management were awesome. Most of all children had a grand time

We celebrated our son's birthday here on 01/11/25, thinking this was the premier Andretti location however, upon arrival we quickly realized that it wasn't. Courtney D. was our salesperson when we reserved our party. While she did communicate there were a few things that was not communicated clearly and omitted, which caused a range of emotions and confusion upon our arrival. Sadly, she showed no interest in attempting to rectify the issue she even went so far as to have a posture (body language) of "it is

Andretti indoor karting is a great place to have fun. Brand new to Buford Georgia less than 3 mi from the Mall of Georgia and right next to Topgolf you will have a great time at this location. They got golf carts for young kids as well as teenage and adults. They have a great restaurant and a fabulous bar with great drinks. There is a large arcade of games to play and they have virtual simulation games on the first and second floor.

We just had our sons birthday party here and it was absolutely perfect, his words! They were attentive, great events, racing and laser tag were so fun. The coordinators kept the parents informed for the timeliness and showed us where to stand to watch events. They food was great, the kids were so happy, we could not have asked for more. The staff and facility are all top notch!

My kid always has a fun time here! It's best to go at times when it's not crowded for an enjoyable experience. The service at the restaurant was excellent!

The place is amazing you can play arcade games , bowling , karts drink and eat. A place perfect for Groups , couples and family, the prices are very affordable and it's location is perfect to do many things around specially for Gwinnett County people and with many spots on the parking lot.the food is pretty good just go to the web site and find the menu and their prices.

Me and my friend went to this establishment on Saturday July 13 and we started off with dinner first. We didn't have to wait and our server was great. The pasta I had was amazing. The drinks were pretty good. We had fun playing the games which were like Dave and Busters. We enjoyed the 7D experience, I think we'll try the zombies next time instead of the clowns but it was fun. My only issue was when receiving the check at dinner the tip was written, and I'm paraphrasing, "better, best, outstanding" al

Amazing location and facilities. Could be an epic place to watch football while your kids play games. But the NFL Sunday ticket isn't working. So all you get is the same local games you would normally see at home. Which sucks if your team is not the game of the day. I have to believe they will get this fixed, soon I hope. The food was really good too. But still only one game was able to be viewed, grrrrr.

Front desk admission process not thought out. So let me tell you...If you want to get a family membership; which is 5 members only. First add the kids under your name to get them a waiver and then each adult need a separate waiver. Take all the waivers to the front desk to announce you want a family membership. You wouldn't know this unless someone told you. So your welcome??.

Great place to hang out for all ages. Has go-karts, arcade games, bowling, and lazar tag. We've done all the activities here with our 4 year old and 8 year old, and they have a blast each time we come back.

Wow, this is an incredible location! I've been coming to Andretti since the original Roswell location days, and it's amazing to see how much it has leveled up over the years. In particular, the track here is incredible and the food was way beyond expectations. Loved the arcade and I heard the bowling alley was a blast as well. Can't wait to come back again!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
