AMF Windfern Lanes

We bowl everywhere we travel and it can be hit and miss... this was a HIT! Don't let the outside fool you. When you walk through the sliding glass doors, you will see what modern bowling alleys are meant to be. The manager and staff were so pleasant and friendly. After we lost our bowling alley in our town, it is nice to stumble on such a gem in the midst of a growing "boutique", not-really-bowling alleys across the country.

I went with my boys last night to this bowling alley. It has been a few years since we have gone bowling and I think that it was a great experience. We went at 8:30pm and we played 4 games total (3 people) in our 2 hours given. All of the employees were extremely friendly. We did not order anything.. so I cannot comment on food or drinks. The facility was clean & well maintained. Music was good. Our lane did stop working, but once we told an employee, it was fixed within a few minutes. I cannot remember the

Great first experience here! I was shocked the manager was so attentive to our needs. They even escorted us to our lane and checked in a couple times during our 2 hours. The same goes for the food/drink staff. No issues with the lane, plenty of house balls, shoes were perfect. The customers were all having a good time. Couldn't have had a better first impression.

I had a somewhat disappointing experience at the bowling alley. The lane paused 4 to 5 times, with each interruption lasting about 5 to 10 minutes, which disrupted the game. The food was decent?some dishes stood out, while others were just average. On the plus side, the pricing was fair. Overall, while the experience had its moments, the technical issues made it less enjoyable than expected.

Had a constant issue with me having to change lanes again and again but the whole place itself with the staff and everything? Outstanding! Super friendly, on time services and I just enjoyed my time there with my family!

The staff at this location was very attentive. We had a great time from getting checked in until we left. The manager and waiter/bartender came by and checked on us. The cook was super nice. I would definitely return.

The staff was absolutely amazing always there to help when we needed them. The food was great, hot and came quickly. Drinks were delicious!! I use to love this place! The people are still friendly but paying $10 per person per game isn't fun. It's two of us so $20 per game can get pricey given that we can go 3-4 games in an hour. It also sucks since the Groupon allows 2hour bowling for nearly the same price of one game with 2 ppl.

I only give it 3 because the owner needs to hire more staff. My 1st time there was not my fav but I understood it was due to the shortage of staff. I never got my good order until I went to get it after being told It would be brought to me. The front staff had to play bar tender & cook while others waited to start bowling. I really had a great time here. Ianaa is a great bartender, she really took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The young lady at the register made sure we had everything we needed for us to bowl. GREAT VIBES

Seats are too clamped up and close to each other. Us a party of 4 kept bumping into the other party in the other lane due to no space. Chubby big bearded bartender gave himself a 20$ tip which don't understand how he was able to do that cause in the receipt we didn't give him no tip due to his laziness and attitude.

Came in to spend time with my son. I went to the shoe booth and the lady was so mean. She wouldn't pay attention and made assumptions to what I wanted. Not very good customer service. I would have stayed it she didn't make me feel so bad.

Great time. 3 games that offered two arcade cards worth $20 for free. The Gbaby and I had a blast. Concessions are too expensive for my blood, but 2 .5 hours of fun was worth $58

Great service, staff were friendly! Our group arrived at 10pm but we were surprised that the bar area was closed off and the entire menu (other than fried food) was unavailable. Bit disappointing for our large group. Otherwise we had a good experience.

1st visit here. Clean location, nice staff. All the food was made fresh and good. Highly recommend the garlic parmesan fries & watermelon slush. Daily bowling specials. Sign up for the MVB rewards and get free stuff.

BEWARE OF THE 18% tip they add on ALL FOOD! They say they have a sign and well the sign isn't very much visible unless you stick your head in the little window. District manager Kelsey told me I was more than welcome to dispute charges with my bank. Which I will, specially when no receipt was given and the employee took my credit card to the back for 15 min and nobody knows why he did that.. I shouldn't have to tip a cook! Specially not 18%. Signs like that need to be at register and front door IN BIG LETTE

The lane kept on getting stuck. The order took 30 minutes to come after we placed the order and it tastes stale.

Had fun, the people from Del Mar suggested us to come here, since they were full. In comparison though, this place makes del mar look premium. The lights are red, the seats are hard, the bowling alley is slippery. But with good friends, it's always a good time.

A ton of fun for a reasonable price. I definitely will be returning!

Watch out they rip you off, I was told when we arrived it was 7.50 per person per game and $3 for shoes per game, price is the same for adults and kids which already seems wrong but whatever, after just 2 games for the adults and 3 games for my child they charged me $117, that math didn't add up, once I paid and left it bothered me that it didn't add up so I called and all of a sudden she said she charged me $10 per person per game, she said if you arrived after 4 it's 10 per person, I told her we arrived a

Went to a birthday party for my baby cousin and was so impressed that I threw my son's birthday party here also. They were great and Rhonda made sure everything ran smoothly. The kids and adults had a blast

Nice place no doubt but not affordable for family outing it cost us almost 200 for one game for our family of 6. That hurt! Also we spent another 50 on food and the barbaque wings were awesome! The nachos not so much. Staff is nice and the place is very nice.

Lanes keep breaking and getting stuck. Wasted half our time waiting for them to reset our lane. When asked for assistance, no one was at the counter. Tried to ask for some type of compensation, and they denied saying we already spent our money's worth. Only was there for 2 hours, and it definitely was NOT worth it. I've been to way better bowling places. Will not be coming back. It's not worth the 1 star.

I love the new upgrade. I've came in the past and its never looked as nice as it does now!! Not sure if it's under new management but overall the staff were polite and very helpful. My family and I enjoyed ourselves.

Came in on a Saturday night and realize they have Extreme bowling after 10:00pm they turn off the lights put the neon lights with loud music, my son really enjoy the environment, the manager than offered anyone who dances like Michael Jackson gets a free bowling game and yes I won so came for a second time! Brought my son for the second time since the bowling experience is really good here. They have a bar, food and Arcades, what else can you ask for.

This place was great! Made a reservation online and everything went great! Only thing is we added a lane when we got there and the original lane kept pausing. Like we would bowl then it wouldn't clear it for like a minute or two. Then only 9 pins would set then only 8 pins would set. The other lane was fine but that other lane was tripping a little. But manager and staff were really nice and attentive! Would definitely come back!

Our bowling league chose by vote to move here to save $5/game. The lanes break down a lot, lots of oil on the lanes, food only ok.

If you want your debit card number stolen, give your card to the waitress. She'll rack up a cool $2,100.00 over night. Earn your own, don't be a snake and steal your way through life. I'm not the only one as well, my friend I was with had the same thing happen to her and we wnt the same night with the same waitress. If you're the owner, check your people for real. Good facility but the manager on duty was rude and uncompromising. My group of 6 spent over $230 on BOWLING!? And the manager limited us to only one lane. Needless to say it took forever to play just a single round and the lane next to us stayed unused the entire night? our monthly bowling group will not be back to this location.

Been coming here and in league for years and seen a lot of changes (and not for the better). Lanes are hardly ever oiled anymore and when they are for league you never know what you are going to get. Asked for a pitcher of water for the team and the main manager (the one with the gold chains) said he doesn't do pitchers but proceeded to bring the group of open play bowlers a pitcher of water (it has never been an issue in previous years). Came with my co workers yesterday for our Christmas party & I had a blast the music was very good and the workers were a big help. The lady with the big hair was running everywhere checking on everyone all night. Give her a raise !! Looking forward to see her everytime we come !!

Use to be a well maintained, friendly, clean bowling alley. Took ten minutes just to get a gate reset. My personal ball got stuck numerous times and covered with rubber debris. I going start looking for a better maintained alley, hopefully with professional staff.

The bowling alley was a little older and out of date but I loved the service from the bartender. She was super sweet and on top of her job. I would go back to play a few games.

We came here yesterday & everyone was sweet up until we went to order drinks/food. Whoever they hire to run the bar/food area, you can tell they have no experience for customer service. Rude & half the time they'll see you waiting to order & still won't acknowledge you. I waited till we were finished bowling & ate elsewhere.

I decided to pop in on Christmas Eve and had an easy and great time. The team got me setup quickly and I was in a lane within 3 minutes. Christy Anne also helped me easily extend my lane reservation and I got to learn from two other experienced players in a neighboring lane. Great time.

We love to come here!! It is nice, great environment, nice people. I only added 3 start because the bar is really bad. Slow, we always spend 15 -30 minutes waiting for our drinks. If you are playing with time, you lost 30 minutes waiting for the drinks and no play. If you play unlimited you only lost your time.

Perfect classic bowling! Many beers on tap and lanes cost what they should! Can't fathom the prices of these new places that put decoration above the lanes and food/drink, yet charge triple. Recommended

We planned a last minute family night here and I love it. The staff they have is AMAZING. John, the manager, came and asked if we were having fun etc and gave us some free game cards with credit on them! Also Andrew and another coworker, whose name I didn't get, were so sweet! My wife and I are league bowlers so we are pretty particular about our bowling alleys. This place checks every box; the food is incredible for a bowling alley and the drinks are affordable. The lanes are always in great shape and the staff is amazing. I couldn't think of a more lethal combination.

Great bowling alley, but beware of the lacking service at the bar! Music selection was on point! Excellent upbeat songs and tons of greatest hits from 90's to now. Restrooms were clean and well kept Food was also excellent but a slight lag in time spent to make because of rush hour. The only con was the bar service...there was only one bartender and he has zero understanding of work etiquette. The best blowing place! From the moment we came in since the moment we left, the staff were very kind and very helpful. We had reservation, I highly recommend they treat you overall great. Had originally drove down to Main Event in Katy And after them telling us we had a 2 1/2 hour wait, decided to head back to Jersey village. We had a really good time. The people were nice, the food was good. Brought my whole family. Felt safe. Affordable price.

Came on a Thursday night. Not only was it overpriced but the staff was inattentive and unfriendly. Couldn't find staff to take arder? at the bat and when I finally did, they passed it off to another person that never got our drinks. Super dissapointed.

Took my daughter here and wow what an awesome experience we had. The staff is awesome and helpful we were there early the guy working even took time to give my daughter some starter tips. Really good people here we'll definitely be back soon..Just go give them a shot and have a good time.

We had a great time last night. They were playing videos of a wide eclectic mix of songs. We ordered the cheesy breadsticks and drinks, and everything was great. I highly recommend the Southern Charm mixed drink. LOL. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
