Here for the Midwest Women's Tournament. A nice house with well maintained lanes. A large house with 48 lanes. Food and drink costs were reasonable. Since it was a tournament, I can't speak to the costs to bowl on your own.

I went here tonight me and my family spent over $300 here I ordered me some mozzarella sticks and also a strawberry infused drink however when I went to check my bank account I notice that the person who took my order added an extra tip to my balance without me know when I went to confront her she began to have an attitude I did speak with the manger who was working this night (she was very respectful ) she did refund me for the extra month the cashier added to my car, however, I do not agree what the cashi

We were their for midwest tournament. Just wanted to say JOE was phenomenal and he made the experience really enjoyable. This is why we gave a 5 star review!

The most expensive bowling place I have ever been to! $117 for two ppl with food!!! The food was nothing but microwaved food. The staff was nice. Never again!

I haven't been bowling in a few years but I decided to go to AMF on S 76th street since it is where I bowled as a teenager and used to have so much fun. Well, things are for sure different. I know everything is getting more expensive but I feel like 30/40 bucks a person to bowl is a lot! Granted we did have to pay a reservation fee online of like $12 total for 4 bowlers. It just was much more than expected. We did the after party bowl from 9pm to 11pm. There was a girl working check-ins that seemed really f

This is the most disgusting, broken down, and horrid bowling center I have ever been to. To have a state bowling tournament at this center was absolutely ridiculous. I paid a lot of money to do this tournament just to be put on a broken down pair, struggle with that for 2 games, moved 30 lanes down, and told we have to hurry because of the next squad coming in. If I could leave 0 or negative stars, I would. This was the crumbiest state tournament I have ever participated in. If it is ever held here again, I

Clean and plenty of lanes open. The fountain soda was a touch low on c02 and the music lacked personality but a fine establishment

first off it's only unlimited til midnight no other options. bowling balls take forever to come back up or it constantly gets stuck in the brunswick thing. then the game cheats it'll say you have pins up but it's literally no pins then the game a give you more points or basically skip your turn. it's not worth it honestly! it's more than one bowling alley that's not working correctly.

Went to the bowling alley with fun with friends. Full of disrespectful, loud, vaping people with explicit shirts. Complained to staff twice but nothing happened.... there were kids there!!! Will not go back again

My nephew had such a great time at his party! They provided food, drinks, mini make your own sundae?s, cups, plates(which they tried their best to match the party theme, sonic). They decorated our space with marquee light up letters for his name and a #7 for his age. Everyone commented how nice that was- It made for a cute picture spot and a place to set gifts. The staff was attentive, place was clean and the food was good (we especially loved the chicken strips and fries). I was pleasantly suprised by the

Extremely expensive 2 games shoe rental for 2 adults and one 4 year old 1 pitcher of beer a margarita a kids pizza ( which was like 5 pieces) and a sampler platter of food around 150 bucks. Console for lane barely worked and was peeling off they were understaffed and the atmosphere was decent at best all the balls had 4 holes

You would think a bowling alley hosting a tournament would check that all their lanes were working before the start of the tournament. Would not recommend hosting a tournament here.

Joe was very welcoming, friendly and helpful during our tournament.

Staff was friendly, pizza was good, but these lanes haven't been maintained in ages. Bowling was super slow as things kept breaking down - and we even needed to change lanes in the middle of a tournament, which is a huge black eye for this center. I hope that the USBC steers the tournament away from these lanes in the future, unless they start caring for their bowling equipment.

This was such an amazing experience. I was there for my older sisters birthday and we had such a fun time! We even had some drinks and the guy was super sweet to add strawberry pur? to my beverage. (I ABSOLUTELY LOVE strawberries) He did not disappoint. I enjoyed it, and everyone enjoyed their drinks, too. Really great atmosphere. Highly recommend! (YOUR STAFF IS AMAZING! You did awesome at training them!)

Great time with friends! Very affordable unlimited bowling, fun atmosphere, and a great bartender that was working her ass off!!

So much fun! We had my son?s birthday party at AMF and everyone had a blast. They got us on the lanes right at the party start time and were quick to answer our questions. Delicious food and great service from the staff. They refreshed our drinks and food every 10 minutes! They even had personalized decorations that made the event extra special. Thanks again for a great time!

The food was good, the staff was friendly and the lanes were well maintained.

It's a family friendly place. Clean atmosphere, efficient staff.

Great customer service. Bartender is amazing everytime we go!

Always a great time and amazing service specifically on Saturday afternoons

Each week we take our program participants here and it is always an amazing experience! The staff is always incredibly friendly and accommodating, and make us feel welcome. One of the standout features is the variety of food and drinks available. Our participants are so excited to order lunch here each week and love the food! The service is prompt and the staff is so friendly. Jess, the manager, is always so kind and patient with our students. She knows all of our participants names and has their food ord

We had had a middle school bowling tournament. It was right here. I like it, we won both matches, lanes are cool, food and drink are great. I will go here again if given the choice.

Great experience perfect for all ages. Friendly and not badly priced. My son myself my mom and my grandparents all had loads of fun!

All bolero own bowling alleys are way terrible. Lanes break down, leaking roof. Barely anyone working

I'd rate 3.5. A little rundown, not much selection of bowling balls, the computer malfunctions and takes awhile to get assistance, but it's a decent place to bowl and have drinks.

Had a great time, and I made it on a discounted day! ????

Amazing how large this place is. Double the amount of Lanes any average alley has.

It's not the best bowling alley I've been to but it's not the worst. We come weekly for a league and there is always a lane that has some sort of issue either with the balls coming back or when it re-racks some pins are being knocked over. The food is decent and not too expensive, but the bar line always takes awhile. It isn't efficient and we are there on slow days and it still takes awhile. I've never had my fingers get so dirty from the inside of a ball before, but they always have some black residue lef

Just made me think of bowling with the champs so many years ago on tv..... And boy do I suck! If I did this for a living I'd be homeless and trading my bowling ball for food?? but.... it was still fun!

I am only giving one star because the food was good. The fact that you run out of 4 different kinds of beer during a state tournament is completely uncalled for. Our hands and balls were so dirty also. Can only hope you don't get the bid again or at least learn how to run it professionally.

I tried to reserve a lane online for my family and I because I had a gift card from the holidays and wanted to take my family . When I went to checkout , there was no option for a gift card so I called . A woman answered and I explained to her if I could just reserve over the phone because my gift card wasn't an option for payment . She said I would be unable to and that it was just first come first serve . I started to ask her why the gift card option wasn't available to get some more information and she c

This is a GREAT bowling alley. It's absolutely massive (48 lanes) and all of the lanes themselves seem to be in great shape - well/evenly oiled, great return systems, working fans and screen controls. Also plenty of balls to choose from, which is always great. The staff has been very friendly and helpful when needed, they seem to have a great operation overall. The only star lost is for the state of the facility (other than the lane area): it's pretty rundown in some ways - leaking ceilings, dirty floors, e

Amazing manager, she was friendly and cared about the customers. The place was short staffed, but it did not affect our group of 9 very much, including food and drinks. Everything was clean The only word of caution, the games are most expensive right after work. So, if you are bringing in your work team, your budget will be better off after 7 pm.

Came for a bowling party with The Ability Center. Everything was set up for teen and young adults in wheelchairs. Friendly staff, clean, and spacious.

The food service was great and the food was amazing. The only problem they had with 5 of the lanes kept freezing and getting stuck for 20 minutes at least. The person behind the counter kept ignoring us about it and had a lot of attitude towards my family. All we wanted was to have fun and we couldn't even finish our games cause it was just stuck.

Our school group attends AMF and Jesse accommodates all of our needs. Jesse treats our students like human beings and knows each by name. This is a fantastic place to take students. The contract is very clear and detailed. you always know what to expect. The staff goes above and beyond when something is not right. We will always come back!!

Hello, I came to bowl with my family during the unlimited special. I was told that prices were increased from what what shown on the ad I seen last time I was there and from the website. That threw me off, but we were fine with it anyways. We had 3 lanes with it being so many of us. Throughout the entire time 2 of our lanes kept getting stuck. The maintenence worker that worked tonight seemed to get annoyed, but I don't see how it was our fault the lanes kept getting stuck in place. It got bad to the point

First of all, food was good and the employee working in the food area was great. My family of 7 went there tonight and had nothing but problems with the lanes. They spent more time broken than not. Out of the three games we paid for we left before even finishing the last frame of game two. The employee behind the counter was rude kept telling us in a snotty manner to hit the reset button on the lane (that didn't work) we were never offered different lanes and the manager was apologetic for the problem with

The staff is wonderful, the food options are good, and the inside is the perfect balance of newer and older bowling alleys.

Friendly staff. Decent menu selection; but based on the folks that I was with who had ordered food there, they said the food wasn't very good. Thought the cost of drinks was expensive & that limited the amount of drinks that some of the folks i was with ordered. The facility didn't seem like a good setup for the women's state bowling tournament.

It was disappointing to find out after we bowled that the price was per person and was not explained to us from the start I wouldn't have played 3 games if it was gonna cost me 58.00 I'm sorry but yall didn't do nothing to make up for it so I will never bowl here again it was said 7.50 per game 6.00 per shoe rental that's not even close to 58.00 so deceiving I'll go somewhere else next oh and get booths instead in front igf

My daughter was invited to a birthday party here. Both her and I bowled and we really enjoyed ourselves. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked one employee Fran for her name. She went out of her way to ensure we really had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend this location and we will be back again soon!

Great staff friendly environment Chris was amazing at making sure we were accomadated

Service was great and bowling even better. They made my sisters birthday a special one, no charge!!

Nice bowling house, was watching son bowl in PBA tournament so I cannot comment on the bowling itself.

At $16.00 a game or $30.00 unlimited on a Saturday we will never go back. This was supposed to be for glow bowling. It was a huge disappointment. Now I know why they were almost dead. The floors were horrible you couldn't slide, we had to continually wait for our balls to return, the soda was expensive. I didn't have any beer I probably would have had to take out a loan. The women?s bathroom was disgusting ,the one stall that was somewhat clean had no toilet paper. The glow bowl had no fun lights, all th

Competitively priced. Lanes are decent. They have something like 50 lanes. So there is always availability. 4 Stars cause beer is expensive here.

This is what my wife's ball looks like after bowling at AMF West Lanes in the women's state bowling tournament. This was brought up to management, and she was told we are aware of the problem. No apology or offer to clean it. Looking at some older reviews, this looks to be an ongoing problem. Each one has the same reply, and we will send your complaint maintenance so they can fix the issue. Obviously, either the complaint never made it or this center doesn't care because their raking in the dough because o

I can't get over that the women's state tournament was held at this place. It is filthy. Food all over the floor, ceiling tiles falling and stained, brick wall in the bathroom with a huge hole in it, faucets leaking with washcloths wrapped around them. Our hands were completely dirty and balls were getting chewed up before being returned. Oh and drinks were outrageously priced. Is a shame a business can't at least clean the place and fix leaking faucets before hosting a tournament.

The lane we had kept Jaming up. We had to keep pushing the reset button. It was more expensive than the advertised price. The person that rang us up never asked if we wanted the sale for the day. And they knew nothing about the rewards program :/

Called multiple times to come and find out if you had any lanes available. Every time I called no one picked up and when I decided to show up 30 minutes after opening I was told you were having a tournament until 10 PM. Would have been nice if staff picked up the phone especially since I physically saw multiple employees just standing around and joking.

Went with friends and didn't enjoy my experience. Don't know if this man was the owner or a manager but my friend ordered a drink and brought it back one of my friends tried the drink to see if she wanted to go up and spend the money on one herself (all of us are well over the drinking age) the man comes around the counter and yells ?no one else should be drinking that drink? to try and embarrass us as if we were teenagers just trying to get drunk. Completely unprofessional. Then continued to stand behind o

Lanes constantly freeze, cashiers are snippy, claim maintenance will come fix the lane, but they never arrive. In the span of 1 game the lane froze 10 times. Would go to another bowling alley for a fun time.

I had just participated in a state tournament at these lanes. They literally had nothing in stock and over priced what they did have. Many in my group waited hours for orders or for their change. Some requested refunds. I was very disappointed and hope the Wisconsin Bowling Association will exclude them from further tournaments. State tournaments bring lots of business and this was a lost opportunity for them.

Literally the worst bowling alley in Wisconsin that I have ever been to. They don't answer their phones, they are literally always having a tournament. I went 2 weeks in a row to try to have a bowling date night & was told both times that they didn't have lanes available 10pm because of tournaments??? Maybe don't be open to the public if tournaments are going to be the only thing you guys prioritize. Horrible horrible service, DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Place was alright. Felt a little annoyed that prices get a little cheaper at 6:00, it was 5:58 and no one behind the counter said ?hey, wait 2 minutes, and you'll save 10%?.

They make everything affordable for families, and it's a clean and friendly environment.

It was packed when we came in but got so slow after 8:30pm. Used to love the unlimited and cheaper prices. We don't come much cause of how expensive it has become.

This location charges triple of what other bowling alleys in the area charge. I paid $50 for 2 games for my little kids. Nice staff and all but I have so many other cheaper options the next time I go bowling. Per employee - "Yeah, we're expensive." AMF customer service, Do not bother replying. If you do not respond to local market factors I wish you luck...

They worked with us on a last minute birthday party. Very friendly employees. Now that winter is here, I can't wait to get back there on the weekends

Spent my free 57th birthday at the bowling alley with my children and grandchildren. What a birthday gift.

I absolutely loved my time here . On Tuesday they have a deal where games are 3.33 some drinks are 3.33 and tacos are 3.33. I got to do night time bowling and I had fun . I ordered a lot of food and it was kind of a disappointment the pizza didn't taste that good and didn't feel like it was cooked all the way . The wings I had purchased boneless and traditional we very salty couldn't even finish them and the tacos I order had no sauce on them they were suppose to have a quest sauce on them it was plain as

Abominable. Just absolutely abominable. Myself, students, and teachers from Wedgewood Park Middle school took a trip today to AMF and there was so much wrong. There was a contract that students were able to get unlimited free drinks during their time of stay. Students were not able to receive those drinks nor were they able to purchase food. Many students and a teacher were very upset and even light headed because they were not informed that they could not buy food so they did not eat before they came, thin

Super disappointed. Came to bowl on a Monday afternoon (not busy) and started a tab. Our lane's ball return was broken and the manager refused to put us on a different lane. 20 minutes went by before someone came to take a look. Played two games with shoe rental and it cost approximately 50 bucks. Despite the cool vintage feel, this place was dirty and not well taken care of, and i wouldn't honestly be disappointed had the price reflected that. Expensive and we left feeling frustrated.

Only 3 stars because it's a nice clean friendly place with great equipment and everything, but I can go bowling somewhere else for wayyyyy less. So sure if you got money to waste and pay like 40$ for one game and shoes for 3 people than it's the right place for you. If your looking for affordable bowling this is not it!

If I could give zero stars I would the girl that I spoke with at the front had absolutely no customer service skills. Was rude, rushed me didn't give any type of information about pricing just yes and no answers. Tried to refuse me and my family to have two lanes even though we had 8 people so we were comfortable. The best part of my experience was the young man at the concession and drink station he as very helpful and knowledgeable. The establishment is very dated we couldn't control who could and couldn?

My T-Mobile family had an event there tonight and it was amazing from the initial setup with Fran to the amazing job hosting by Chris and the rest of their team!!! They truly made sure we were taken care of and enjoyed a Sunday Fun Day for sure!!

We come here weekly with a larger group to bowl. Management and staff are always extremely kind, accommodating, and patient with our special needs group. They don't need to look out for them, but they always do, and without hesitation. We appreciate staff that go out of their way to say hello to our participants and make sure they have a good time. If you want a great place to have some fun at, this is the place to be! We choose them over any other bowling alley.

We went on a Friday evening. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We had a few issues with our lane throughout the night, but the staff was on top of it. Lots for the kids to do, the environment and other customers were all in a good mood and having a good time. The staff seems to space the lanes and visitors well. Music was at the right volume to be present but not in your face. My only issue was at the end the cost for all was a bit higher then I expected for two frames for a family of four and a fe

Staff was amazing. It was quite a busy day for a Saturday after 8pm and they did a great job getting us lanes. Everyone was very polite we had a huge group and we were accommodated without any issues. Thank you guys so much for the excellent service. At the end of the evening my son's ball was stuck and the gentleman made sure he got his ball. I'll come here all the time going forward

This was amazing. The food was good but the lanes and atmosphere are the best part! The only reason the get 4 instead of 5 is because the balls got stuck a couple times in the return, but was back within seconds. Never a terrible Long jam.

A group of friends and I went to celebrate a birthday tonight. We went for the 9pm-1am all you can bowl and waited in line for roughly half hour. We arrived at the bowling alley at 9:10pm and by 9:40pm we were still in line waiting to purchase our tickets. There was 1 checkout lane and 3 workers behind the front desk including the manager. A group of people walked in after my party and were purchasing tickets and receiving their shoes while my party was still in line waiting. So I approached 1 of the gentle

We had a child's birthday party at this place. Bowling was ok except our score kept screwing up, not good as we were paying by the hour. It did get fixed. Food was bowling alley okay. A little pricier than other places.

Jesi the Manager was the best! Helped us at the desk, even took our food order and brought it to us. We had such a great time and will definitely be back! Thank you Jesi!

We stopped into AMF for the night time Glow Bowl (after 9pm). There was a little bit of a wait for a lane and rental shoes, which is no big deal. The employees behind the bar looked overwhelmed, but got our drinks out decently quick. We passed on ordering food after being told there was over an hour wait, two separate times. It only costs 20 bucks a person for unlimited games, which isn't a bad deal, but I would recommend not coming hungry! Overall it was a fun time and I would recommend this location to fa

Their customer service is phenomenal! Enthusiastic, always willing to attend to our needs for our parties. This was our second year having the kids' birthday there. I would recommend this venue to ANYONE. You won't be disappointed.

AMF is the place to go if you want to have a good time with family and friends. You can go bowling, play arcade games, visit the bar, and get food. Great service, chill environment, and great music, too.

Possibly the most up-to-date bowling alley I've ever seen. 40 lanes, clean, friendly staff

Great time with my family. We played 2 games which was 4 hours due to having 5 kiddos oldest 10. We had pizza and sampler and pitchers of soda total came to $180. She gave us an extra $20 off and said I couldn't stand to see the total over $200 with a nice big family so I gave you $20 off. Super nice ?? Great job staff ????

The lanes are always breaking, our bowling balls come back with scars, as a person who comes here very often, I don't see any improvements to the machinery. However the service is very great and each employee treats us with respect. I don't think these lanes will ever get fixed though and it is truely disappointing

Always has been my favorite spot for bowling. The manager we had was very kind and eager to know how she could make our experience better, which I really appreciated. And then the food we had was actually quite good as well. Not 5 star restaurant quality food, but it was enjoyable and presented well. I went for a birthday and had reserved our spot and food. Being said, having reserved the area for a party they had very cute decorations put out at our lanes and it really went a long way in making the occasio

Lanes where dirty. Drinks to expensive

A good place to just go and relax eat good food and bowl. The lanes were not full with league games on a Saturday that was nice. The drinks are also good and they have specials. Will definitely visit again.

The Leagues are amazing, the House is great for family friends to come let loose and mingle. Just so you are aware the company now charges a 18% service fee for bar staff as a tip, company policy now. But the staff is amazing over worying about corporate standards, the staff makes me come back to the house I Grew up in Red Carpet Lanes!!!

We ordered food a drinks. I ordered chicken tenders and a soda. When I received the soda it was only 2/3 full. When our food came it, the lady that brought out the food on a cart dropped a chicken tender and then tried to use a napkin and hand it to me. I told her we will just take a different one. Thankfully they came out with a new one.. but it was kind of gross of her to try and give me the one she dropped. All in all we spent 150$ for 4 people (3 adults 1 kid) and food. Not great. Not the most horrible

Had a nice time bowling. Kid Friendly during the evening. Only complaint I had was we ordered food and for 1 sandwich and fries it took almost 30 minutes. Otherwise we had a nice time

First time coming here and I really enjoyed myself. I didn't win(side eye) but it was fun trying. I ordered fries and they took a while to come but staff was cool & friendly about it. Ill be back.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
