AMF West Lanes

Here for the Midwest Women's Tournament. A nice house with well maintained lanes. A large house with 48 lanes. Food and drink costs were reasonable. Since it was a tournament, I can't speak to the costs to bowl on your own.

This is the most disgusting, broken down, and horrid bowling center I have ever been to. To have a state bowling tournament at this center was absolutely ridiculous. I paid a lot of money to do this tournament just to be put on a broken down pair, struggle with that for 2 games, moved 30 lanes down, and told we have to hurry because of the next squad coming in. first off it's only unlimited til midnight no other options. bowling balls take forever to come back up or it constantly gets stuck in the brunswick thing. then the game cheats it'll say you have pins up but it's literally no pins then the game a give you more points or basically skip your turn. it's not worth it honestly! it's more than one bowling alley that's not working correctly.

You would think a bowling alley hosting a tournament would check that all their lanes were working before the start of the tournament. Would not recommend hosting a tournament here.

Staff was friendly, pizza was good, but these lanes haven't been maintained in ages. Bowling was super slow as things kept breaking down - and we even needed to change lanes in the middle of a tournament, which is a huge black eye for this center. I hope that the USBC steers the tournament away from these lanes in the future, unless they start caring for their bowling equipment.

This was such an amazing experience. I was there for my older sisters birthday and we had such a fun time! We even had some drinks and the guy was super sweet to add strawberry pur? to my beverage. So much fun! We had my son?s birthday party at AMF and everyone had a blast. They got us on the lanes right at the party start time and were quick to answer our questions. Delicious food and great service from the staff. They refreshed our drinks and food every 10 minutes! They even had personalized decorations that made the event extra special. We had had a middle school bowling tournament. It was right here. I like it, we won both matches, lanes are cool, food and drink are great. I will go here again if given the choice.

It's not the best bowling alley I've been to but it's not the worst. We come weekly for a league and there is always a lane that has some sort of issue either with the balls coming back or when it re-racks some pins are being knocked over. The food is decent and not too expensive, but the bar line always takes awhile. It isn't efficient and we are there on slow days and it still takes awhile. I am only giving one star because the food was good. The fact that you run out of 4 different kinds of beer during a state tournament is completely uncalled for. Our hands and balls were so dirty also. Can only hope you don't get the bid again or at least learn how to run it professionally.

I tried to reserve a lane online for my family and I because I had a gift card from the holidays and wanted to take my family . This is a GREAT bowling alley. It's absolutely massive (48 lanes) and all of the lanes themselves seem to be in great shape - well/evenly oiled, great return systems, working fans and screen controls. Amazing manager, she was friendly and cared about the customers. The place was short staffed, but it did not affect our group of 9 very much, including food and drinks. Everything was clean The only word of caution, the games are most expensive right after work. So, if you are bringing in your work team, your budget will be better off after 7 pm.

Came for a bowling party with The Ability Center. Everything was set up for teen and young adults in wheelchairs. Friendly staff, clean, and spacious.

The food service was great and the food was amazing. The only problem they had with 5 of the lanes kept freezing and getting stuck for 20 minutes at least. The person behind the counter kept ignoring us about it and had a lot of attitude towards my family. All we wanted was to have fun and we couldn't even finish our games cause it was just stuck.

Our school group attends AMF and Jesse accommodates all of our needs. Jesse treats our students like human beings and knows each by name. This is a fantastic place to take students. The contract is very clear and detailed. you always know what to expect. The staff goes above and beyond when something is not right. We will always come back!!

Hello, I came to bowl with my family during the unlimited special. I was told that prices were increased from what what shown on the ad I seen last time I was there and from the website. That threw me off, but we were fine with it anyways. We had 3 lanes with it being so many of us. Throughout the entire time 2 of our lanes kept getting stuck. The maintenence worker that worked tonight seemed to get annoyed, but I don't see how it was our fault the lanes kept getting stuck in place. It got bad to the point

My daughter was invited to a birthday party here. Both her and I bowled and we really enjoyed ourselves. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked one employee Fran for her name. She went out of her way to ensure we really had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend this location and we will be back again soon!

This is what my wife's ball looks like after bowling at AMF West Lanes in the women's state bowling tournament. This was brought up to management, and she was told we are aware of the problem. No apology or offer to clean it. Looking at some older reviews, this looks to be an ongoing problem. I can't get over that the women's state tournament was held at this place. It is filthy. Food all over the floor, ceiling tiles falling and stained, brick wall in the bathroom with a huge hole in it, faucets leaking with washcloths wrapped around them. Our hands were completely dirty and balls were getting chewed up before being returned. Oh and drinks were outrageously priced. Is a shame a business can't at least clean the place and fix leaking faucets before hosting a tournament.

Called multiple times to come and find out if you had any lanes available. Every time I called no one picked up and when I decided to show up 30 minutes after opening I was told you were having a tournament until 10 PM. Would have been nice if staff picked up the phone especially since I physically saw multiple employees just standing around and joking.

Lanes constantly freeze, cashiers are snippy, claim maintenance will come fix the lane, but they never arrive. In the span of 1 game the lane froze 10 times. Would go to another bowling alley for a fun time.

I had just participated in a state tournament at these lanes. They literally had nothing in stock and over priced what they did have. Many in my group waited hours for orders or for their change. Some requested refunds. I was very disappointed and hope the Wisconsin Bowling Association will exclude them from further tournaments. State tournaments bring lots of business and this was a lost opportunity for them.

Literally the worst bowling alley in Wisconsin that I have ever been to. They don't answer their phones, they are literally always having a tournament. I went 2 weeks in a row to try to have a bowling date night & was told both times that they didn't have lanes available 10pm because of tournaments??? Place was alright. Felt a little annoyed that prices get a little cheaper at 6:00, it was 5:58 and no one behind the counter said ?hey, wait 2 minutes, and you'll save 10%?.

This location charges triple of what other bowling alleys in the area charge. I paid $50 for 2 games for my little kids. There was a contract that students were able to get unlimited free drinks during their time of stay. Students were not able to receive those drinks nor were they able to purchase food. Super disappointed. Came to bowl on a Monday afternoon (not busy) and started a tab. Our lane's ball return was broken and the manager refused to put us on a different lane. 20 minutes went by before someone came to take a look. Played two games with shoe rental and it cost approximately 50 bucks. Despite the cool vintage feel, this place was dirty and not well taken care of, and i wouldn't honestly be disappointed had the price reflected that. Expensive and we left feeling frustrated.

Only 3 stars because it's a nice clean friendly place with great equipment and everything, but I can go bowling somewhere else for wayyyyy less. My T-Mobile family had an event there tonight and it was amazing from the initial setup with Fran to the amazing job hosting by Chris and the rest of their team!!! They truly made sure we were taken care of and enjoyed a Sunday Fun Day for sure!!

We come here weekly with a larger group to bowl. Management and staff are always extremely kind, accommodating, and patient with our special needs group. They don't need to look out for them, but they always do, and without hesitation. We appreciate staff that go out of their way to say hello to our participants and make sure they have a good time. If you want a great place to have some fun at, this is the place to be! We choose them over any other bowling alley.

The lanes are always breaking, our bowling balls come back with scars, as a person who comes here very often, I don't see any improvements to the machinery. The Leagues are amazing, the House is great for family friends to come let loose and mingle. Just so you are aware the company now charges a 18% service fee for bar staff as a tip, company policy now. But the staff is amazing over worying about corporate standards, the staff makes me come back to the house I Grew up in Red Carpet Lanes!!!

We ordered food a drinks. I ordered chicken tenders and a soda. When I received the soda it was only 2/3 full. When our food came it, the lady that brought out the food on a cart dropped a chicken tender and then tried to use a napkin and hand it to me. I told her we will just take a different one. Thankfully they came out with a new one.. but it was kind of gross of her to try and give me the one she dropped. All in all we spent 150$ for 4 people (3 adults 1 kid) and food. Not great.
