AMF Bowling in Grove City is a great spot for a fun night out with friends or family. The lanes are well-kept and the atmosphere is lively. I'm giving it 4 stars because while the food overall is average, the cheesy dippers were absolutely awesome?crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. They were definitely the highlight of the snack bar! Nice local bowling center. They oil the lanes often because there are a lot of leagues, which is excellent! Bar/food is a good selection and pretty good. The denizens are friendly the the pro shop is open till 8p a lot of days which is really appreciated.

Very good experience here hosting a birthday party. The rates are very reasonable. The kids had fun bowling and in the game room. The staff was patient with a bunch of wild 11 year old boys. I had to follow up with the person who sold me the party package several times to make the final payment. The food was okay for kids but it's bowling alley quality food for sure? Overall, it was a good experience and I'd recommend it for a kid?s party.

I live a hour away from this location but decided on June 20th to come with a few kiddos and my twin sons for their 6th bday. Taylor is the manager there and she was SUPER NICE and helpful! I really appreciated her especially because at the time she was running the kitchen, the front desk and helping the families in the lanes. I'll definitely be back!

We came today for their 9.99 spring break deal. Which was an amazing Dela. Unlimited bowling, shoes and a free 2 hour game card. We had a blast. The only issue is, at opening (11am) they only had 1 person working for the first full hour. That poor girl had to do everything. We went for the arcade that we had a Groupon for. Some of the games were out of order and there wasn't a great selection. However, the service was friendly, and the worker quickly fixed a ball jam in one of the games we were playing.

The pro shop is a joke, if you aren't in the click, the owner doesn't care. You dont believe in his political views ,he will get on fb page put your post cause it not his political views. Went to get a couple lanes sunday and the lady at the front scoffed at me and said ?you aren't getting any lanes today? we even asked if they could do one and she said no and then continued talking to her coworkers about some random gossip. Showed up at 11 for free bowl just to be told that the league doesn't end until 1230 even tho they open at 11 for free bowl. Just total incompetence.

Had a perfect time bowling. Paid ahead of time for bowling and arcade cards. Got there and was greeted, and then the lady (Stephanie I believe) took the time to explain and answer all my questions. She helped me find the right size shoes for my boys, didn't get annoyed when they had to try a few or when they didn't want the bumpers and then did. She was kind and helpful and made it a fun trip. Was a normal bowling experience, good and clean and reasonable priced.

Came here on a Friday evening to bowl with family. They were showing very adult music videos with several children here bowling with their families. Very inappropriate.

I decided to plan a softball team Christmas party at the Stardust Lanes in Grove City. We had a great experience and the girls (13 years old) had a blast. They were very busy but they worked really hard to make our experience a great one. Food was good and great customer service. Like I said, the bowling alley was packed, but they did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed.

Great, family friendly place to bowl. It's clean, and we were kept entertained. My only issue is how expensive the food and drinks are. It's insane how much 4 waters and 2 cookies cost...... $20!! Water should be free..... Luckily we had a Groupon for the bowling so it was around $50 for 2 hours. The arcade is nice and will keep you busy for a little while. Sunday evenings all but 4 lanes are booked for league.

this was my first time going here and The staff is very rude and when trying to get an employees attention because we were standing at the counter for about 5 minutes she proceeded to catch an attitude and roll her neck around and me and my family didn't get a chance to even bowl the customer service was very poor and i will never be returning

First time here and I must say I was impressed. It was very clean for a bowling aly and it was also very modern. Big screens for music and TV. Very slick and modern controls for the bowling area. We had zero problems with the lane or any other equipment. The staff was friendly and prompt, we arrived when they opened in a Saturday. The prices are a bit steep but I think that's about average these days with inflation. Great experience and will return.

I appreciate that the bowling areas and restrooms were clean. However, few reasons I would choose a different location: 1. Waited 10 mins for anybody to come help us at the counter upon arrival (which if we hadn't gone looking for somebody it probably would have been longer 2. The seats are not sectioned with a lane so people are crossing to get to their lane from their seat/table 3. The bar person was not friendly and it seemed we were a nuisance preventing her from eating her fries and playing on her phon

Online options are different than in person and they will not compromise also the service is terrible have waited 20+ minutes for service at the front desk on multiple evenings

Friendly person at counter but put me on a pair of lanes that already had a bunch of house balls at ball return. I had to put them away to make room for my own bowling balls. Next the hand drier at the lane did not work. Also pinsetter was dropping the 10 pin occasionally. This place is geared to the entertainment bowler and not your league bowler.

Bowling was ok but the drinks and food are outrageous, no pitchers of soda only beer and 4 fountain drinks and a small Gatorade were $26 , the pool tables are set up by the hour at $10 while the other I.e. foosball and table hockey were free, just not a good overall experience for the money ??

I went there on years year eve. No one was there. It was around 8. We asked to bowl. But they said no because of reservations. Which I could understand. But no one was there and the parking lot was empty. The staff was nice all but I bald guy was very rude. Won't be back. We had a 6 year old with and it made him cry

Nice bowling alley with a small arcade. Decent prices. I purchased a Groupon which I used for 2 hours of bowling. It was a nice date. Didn't have any issues with our lane and we had fun changing the screen themes between rounds. They serve alcohol which was nice. The only thing that would've made it better is if it was darker in there or a glow bowl. Maybe more colorful

This was my first and last visit here. I attended a birthday party here and was told by the host the "party" was $279. This included two hours of bowling, 3 pizzas, 4 pitchers of pop and 7 $5 arcade game cards. This was waaaaay overpriced. Bowling was fine. The pizza was served almost 30 minutes late, and the 3rd came 15 minutes after the first two were delivered. The staff were less than helpful and were rude and arrogant. The pizza was not good and all of the pop was flat. The fries were OK, but cost $7.

My daughter and granddaughter bowled, and I watched. The place was very clean. Mask wearing was in effect. This is one of the nicest bowling alleys I have ever seen. The staff were very nice. The menu is varied, but mostly fried stuff. The prices were high, but the large fries could serve 4 people! Would recommend this place to any group that want to have a few hours in a clean and safe environment! We're gonna go again!

I went bowling with my family at AMF Star Dust lanes. We pre paid for two rounds of bowling. I have a small child, who half way through the first round was showing all the signs of being tired. All moms know the signs, and know if you don't wrap things up quickly a meltdown is eminent. So I went back to the check in counter and let them know we could only play one round. I was informed there was no way to refund my money for the second round, since I pre paid. The employee did not care at all, just told me

The price kept the rating lower than I wanted to give. Make sure you present your Groupon right when you walk in. They wouldn't honor it at check out. Besides that, I expected the concessions to be high and really for the size and taste of the pizza, I wasn't mad about the price. I felt like the customer service was really good. First impression. Clean!!!!! Very clean. Went for a child's bday. Whoever had the idea for food is a genius!!!!! Lanes were very child friendly and awesome. Arcade was modern and clean!! Staff was professional and courteous. Definitely will go back!

I like the modern minimalist design for the lane control and I like that I was able to connect to lanetalk and save my scores, great lanes flawless running machines, and I love the unlimited bowling after 9pm.

Staff is nice. Food is terrible. Pizza was worse than a 2 day old frozen pizza. Mozz sticks were avg microwavable quality. Wings were the same. Over priced food for what u get. I reccomend eating before u go. Bowling is very well priced. Animations are cool, lanes and seating area is clean. Lots of up to date games, kids had fun.

Me and my wife went here to relax and have fun away from the kids. It was a nice and clean place. But what got me was the workers. There was a guy name Joe that was doing the food and drinks. He made our night. He was funny and super helpful. Then there was a guy name Ronnie who was the manager we ask if we could have a lane that wasn't congested. . He said no problem and when my wife shoe seem to slide more then her liking he was quick to switch them out... Had a lot of fun. For sure would go again.

It's all about the money there now, they won't even allow you to throw a couple warm up throws. Workers wouldn't look you in the eye, felt very unwelcome. The food was highly over priced and came out cold. Review the pics ill post and it was worse than the pictures show.

Been coming so often we signed up for a league but I'm now on two visits in the row where cashier has overcharged us. First time was 50+ dollars. Tonight, it wasn't much it's still a little silly that 16.99 bowling wednesdays is advertised on the wall near the desk, on the and on website, but I have to ask for it to not be charged by the game ? Reservations can't be done over the phone but if you do them online you're automatically charged a $20 per person food credit, which I think is insane for a bowling ally. Went on a Saturday night and we were able to get 2 lanes with no wait. The rental shoes were pretty new, and very clean. They have a good selection of balls to choose from and it didn't take long to find a good fit. The lanes are well maintained and have a decent amount of oil. I don't put much spin on my throws, but some in my group did and they were happy with the lane condition. The food was pretty good, though a little expensive. Overall it was a really good time.

Very disappointed in the customer service. I called a number of times to see if it was necessary to reserve lanes for bowling on a Friday afternoon. When no one answered, I went ahead and paid for 12 people, but when I arrived, the in law?s said they were not bowling. Very over priced had two adults two children played four games and they charge a game a person which we were charged a total of 8 games $142 total. Cocktails are very over priced will not go back. Bowling used to be economical for families not anymore.

I get there and was told that it was completely full but only 5 lanes were being used and everyone else was was just sitting and talking. Meaning that I had to move my Son's birthday party to the location on Sawmill Road, where we had a great time even though most of his friends couldn't go due to the location change. ??

Fun environment, good lanes. Only thing I could ask for is that they open earlier. Every other bowling alley I've seen around the Columbus area opens anywhere from 9-12 and is open all day. Open that place up sooner please!

We haven't been in a long time! They had done some updates which were nice! Matthew was great! He was working check-in, the snack shop and the bar all by himself and it was BUSY! He did an exceptional job for being one person!

I've been bowling here on Wednesday nights. Friendly staff, love their pro shop and we've really only had a few hiccups with the lanes. I've had a few choice eats, fairly standard but the lanes are well kept and the atmosphere is perfectly bowly.

This used to be a great bowling alley, but now it is just a mess. The place is very dirty. They women's bathroom looks like it has not been cleaned in months. The carpet throughout the place hasn't been touched. You see staff just standing around doing nothing. The owner must be blind. This will be the last time I will be bowling here. Get it together or you will not stay open.

We had a team meeting here for my work followed by food and bowling! I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere here! It is a smaller bowling alley with well kept lanes, and great scoreboards and ball returns. I used their house ball and had not bowled in quite some time. My games were not that great but it was from lack of practice. I would love to come back for open bowling with my son soon.

I will never come here again. If your foot goes slightly over the line, the lane loudly buzzes at you and you lose your points. And then there's a bright red F on the screen where your points should be. Maybe a good feature for league play, but very jarring for a casual player who accidently made a mistake. I was just trying to have a nice family day and instead I got yelled at and shamed by a bowling lane. Very hard to have fun when I have to constantly worry about making a mistake.

1st time there seemed like a nice spot. wasn't too up-to-date on covid-19 procedures. Didn't notice any tables or ball's being white down after customers left I wasn't happy with that.?? Concession stand way overpriced & they don't offer pitchers of drinks like most.. So must purchase each drink separately for family ranging from $4 to $5 each. Spent $75 on a pizza, 2 drinks, 2 fries and 2 chicken quesadilla...smh

It was nice, employees did not ask if you've been there before and didn't bother to let you know where everything was located. We found some people were not bowling and had to be asked by other bowlers to move b/c they were sitting at tables next to lanes, and made it a nuisance. I felt employees didn't care or were scared to say anything and didn't do their job to its fullest.

The lane rental is a good concept however, it makes it fairly expensive as me and e friends went bowling and it was over $80 for the shoe rental and lane rental for 2 games. The drinks are outrageously expensive as each medium soda costed ~$5. The service is very bad as I stood waiting for a refill for about 5 mins, and the only thing the associate was doing was talking to a coworker. The soda was also bad (tasted watered down) so basically the lane rental is good enough to warrent 2 stars.

We go here from time to time. This last trip was absurd. I checked the website before going, and it didn't say anything about leagues like in the past, so I assumed that night would be fine. Drink prices are absolutely outrageous but had an amazing time with the family.

We went on a Sunday afternoon at 4:30 and they didn't have any lanes to let us bowl because league play started in 30 minutes. Change your business hours to reflect scheduled league play or reserve enough lanes for walk ins. They weren't even that busy.

We love this place. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Been there both with friends and taken my 3 yr old daughter for a family day. The food is pretty good and overall its a nice place to enjoy either some family fun or a night out.

Great bowling alley but way too expensive! It cost us $154 for 2 hrs of bowling and shoes for a family of 3. You can drive 20 min north to HP Lanes on Innis and pay $45.

Round 2. 1.1.17 Service was better. But still not a place where I would say I enjoy Bowling. The lane and are old but in good shape. Trouble is they are trying to be too trendy. It was hard to see what we were doing because half of the house lights had been turned off. Not to mention the giant projector screens hanging in the way. Very old lain tech. We recently had my daughter's 4th birthday party there. It was great fun. However there was an issue while booking the party. For AMF, you have to go through the Corporate Group Booking to book as the manager does not have right to book events. The booking agent assigned to me insisted that we have to give an exact headcount of people and exact details of extra food that we want 3 days before the party and prepay for everything. One of the nicest houses in the area. They treat leagues well and have kept their lineage and food cost pretty reasonable. They just put in new lane planks too. No complaints, but wish they had a vending machine with some extra diet drink selections and maybe even sugar free energy drinks. As it stands, diet Pepsi is the only choice.
