There is no warm greeting from the front desk or the patrons. We get our shoes and go order some food. The young lady behind the counter looked me straight in the eyes didn't speak and kept doing what she was doing. The service was exceptional! The staff were very pleasant and professional! The facility was very modern and up to date. The monitors and the scoring systems were all very high tech! My daughter and I really enjoyed the place! We will return! Best Regards, PT

Overall, I enjoyed the bowling. The issue I had was customer service. We asked for a pitch of water along with our food. When I said something to the lady, she said I was not talking to you. In addition, the personnel seemed stressed and they're not seem to be concerned about the situation. They did not seem concerned about us receiving our food. Sadly, although I enjoy the bowling, I will not be returning to this bowling alley. I will find another place to bowl duckpins.

Not a good place. They don't train the employees well. I got a summer pass the employee told me that it's 65 anytime any AMF. I bought it. I go to use it and can't use it. They then tell me it's only good for specific location. Refuse to give refund and force me to pay 25 for upgrading. The general manager said oh well just be lucky I don't make you come down here two and half hour drive to pay in person. Stay far away from you have been warned.

I took my grandkids ages 10 and 3 and they loved it. I used a Groupon which made it very affordable. They have gutter guards and ramps for the kids and a huge menu..Staff was very friendly

Although we didn't bowl, the service was great and billiard hall was very clean. Not a big fan of duckpin but this place made it worth the time. Great spot!

I was confused about the mini bowling at first, and I still am honestly, but it was enjoyable at the very least. Bring a good number of friends and have a few drinks.

Was there for our bowling pty.. Ann did an amazing job handling everything short handed. We have been bowling for at least 25 years..

We enjoyed the afternoon with the kids. Great facility and staff. Great " bowling alley " food too.

Was supposed to meet some people here and got big racist vibes and basically got ran out of the establishment saying "only league bowlers here" just to find out it's open to the public VERY DOUBTFUL ILL COME BACK

Friendly staff. Snack bar food was not good at all, but can't expect much from a bowling alley. Had no tech issues with the lane, so that's a plus

Haven't been to a good bowling alley in a while, let alone an all-duck pin bowling alley. Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and lots and lots of lanes, so the wait was minimal/none. Highly recommended and a wonderful find just off the I-695 beltway.

Staff was friendly but you can only have so much fun at duckpin bowling. It's the first AMF I've ever seen that was in 10 pin!

Omg. I went for the billiards. 6 bucks a person per hour. I was alone. Best 5 hours ever. Mozzarella sticks and nachos are the bomb.

We had a great time service was a bit slow and that includes the food stand. So I say eat before you go and have fun there are some great grouponds for this.

Pricier than I thought. I went in the middle of the afternoon and it was nice because there was hardly anyone there. There were 5 of us. And we all played 1 game then 3 of us played a 2nd game and the total was around $110. That was shocking to me. I believe it was $7 per person for shoes and about $6 per person for each game. Still doesn't add up but it was fun!

Duckpin bowling ?? Haven't been here in about 15 years ; The bowling itself was great, loved that you could see how fast you were throwing the ball. .. but just the first impressions of the staff was unfortunately displeasing . Some things were said regarding race in a conversation I overheard with a member of the staffs? family member. ( only assuming family member because they were behind the counter with the staff member as well ) What's even more unfortunate is that the staff member heard what was said

Wow! Took my son bowling for 2 games?? $60 just for bowling. Won't even mention the cost of food and drinks. Sorry to see this place go out of business so soon. Applaud the innovative smaller ball bowling but owners have missed the boat.

Very old and worn shoes given to those who were of color, including my family. While white people were given newer shoes. Also, the duck pins were old and worn. Many of the balls were chipped. LOOKS LIKE I'LL BE TAKING MY OWN GEAR NEXT TIME!

Awesome spot, service was on point and lanes were we'll maintained. First time playing duck pins and I found them great. Alot less stress on your wrist and arms.

I've been bowling at AMF Southwest since I was in youth league and this is by far one of the best Duckpin Centers and best corporate center out there. Ann, Amanda, and Mary always take great care of me and are passionate about giving their league bowlers the best possible services they can. So glad I returned here this season.

This is not a real bowling alley. Be aware the bowling ball are the size of golf balls lmao ?? nope only for kids and seniors, so be aware and don't make the same mistake we made by wasting our time here.

We were so impressed with everything about this bowling alley. The staff were amazing?super polite and helpful. Just little things, like taking our trash as they saw us walking toward the trash can and asking if we needed more napkins or to go containers, meant so much. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The set up to begin bowling was easy. We will definitely be back!

Prices are a little high on the weekends, but they apparently have weekday specials. Food was pretty good and the place was clean and had a good vibe.

First let me say the staff is top notch. Always helpful and they get 5 stars! The alley is dated needs a major refresher. As for PRICE a family of 4 on a Friday at 6:30pm if you want to bowl 2 games is $96 + tax. That is $9.50 per game per person and $5 for the shoe rental. We had 5 free games from a previous bday party but as a family there is no way to justify that price.

I have been bowling at AMF Southwest for about 35 years, I've been running leagues there for most of that time, and I am on a total of five leagues a year in that house. The staff are always friendly, and I feel like they go above and beyond to make sure that you have a good experience. They always try to make things right if something goes wrong, which does not happen often. Held a birthday party with about 10 kids and their parents. Staff did an excellent job setting up tables before and providing service during. Pizza and fries were excellent. Lane equipment worked very well. Great experience overall!

Without a doubt the best corporate duckpin bowling alley. It is also the largest duckpin bowling alley in the world at 40 lanes so there are lanes available often during open play hours. Service is better than some amf houses in the area. General manager Ann is fantastic! If your a fan of previous amf experiences you've had and are looking for a duckpin alternative amf southwest is your go to.

Went here for an outside of work team building experience. We were surprised to just find Duck Pin instead of regular 10 pin. Staff were friendly and able to find us 2 lanes together- they were busy as it was a league night. Food was pretty good. It appeared that some staff hadn't showed, as the staff was working the bar area, food service and general customer service. Would still like to pick a non-league night to see regular bowling, but overall really enjoyed the outing.

Went looking for a bowling alley and was confused and surprised when the balls were small and the pins were tiny. This began my introduction to "duck pin" bowling. It's so much fun and I highly recommend. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The facilities are a bit dated but the experience and the staff more than made up for it.

Cheap duckpin bowling, not the place you wanna come to if you want ?real? bowling with normal size pins and bowling balls. The lanes are easy to setup and navigate. As to be expected the food and drink are a little more pricey than if you bought them yourself. I paid almost $5 for an average size bottle of gatorade.

I had my daughter's 6th birthday there today. Everyone was extremely accommodating and attentive. They had a very impressive range of shoe sizes, even down to toddler ages. Ideal location right off the highway since most of my guests were coming from Delaware. Loved it!

Had a Birthday booked in Glen Burnie and they had issues and moved me to this location. I was worried about it going smoothly but the staff stepped up and did an amazing job. They could have been in a bad mood because of all the extra work being dumped on them but they were happy to have my party as well as others from the other location. The manager was the best and I really appreciate the rest of the staff. Definitely recommend going here or booking a party

Nothing major! My family purchased a deal on Groupon, so we all went! We weren't aware that it was Duck Bowling!! My daughter got the Buffalo Chicken Wings and they weren't cooked well! They give you about 10 fries when you order them as a side! Overall, it's a good place to take small kids for a little fun!

Great place, and the food and beverages were pretty good. Clean and friendly with nice lanes with a great seating w. We had a party of 4 however, it could easily accommodate larger parties. Location was easy to get to, good parking and handicap accessible. Some allergy friendly items to choose from.

It was a nice atmosphere and the service was decent but it was dry, no music, no TV?s, nothing. You could hear the other parties that were there. Definitely not like the Bowlero out Ellicott city.

Very very very understaffed. Only two people trying to run the food and bowling rentals. The two of them running back and forth from the food to the bowling rental while the manager stayed in the office. We had to wait almost an hour due to a party that arrived an hour later. Plenty of alleys was closed down and they wouldn't open them. I felt so sorry for the two associates. The manager is lucky I'm not her boss because she was not a team player. No support!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a great time on a Sunday afternoon. Ann, who seemed to be running the place was incredible. She was really friendly and helpful, while she worked both the front desk and the food court.

Always fun. But keep kids birthday parties away from league bowlers. Foul language around the kids so had to try to keep them away. Didn't have any problems before. But this time, language was free flowing.

We hosted a company wide event at AMF. Ann and Elijah were so helpful. They made sure our games were up and running, quickly and our food came out timely and was so good! We so enjoyed our time and are planning to comb back soon!

Amanda behind the concessions counter was very rude to my boyfriend and I. We were so turned off we just paid for our half hour and left. The place was pretty unorganized, no way to tell how to sign up to play pool. Only rating higher bc I'm sure the place overall isn't bad but we didn't have a good experience there tonight.

Had a bday party here for both of my kids last year and they were very nice and pleasant. The (women) manager was even very nice and understanding. They even let me go over the time since it wasn't busy which is a huge plus bc most places want to pack u up and push u out the door. So thank you for letting the kids have a great time with no worries!!

We held our son's birthday party here this afternoon and everything was perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and that everyone was having a great time. We'll definitely be booking here again!

This was our first time there, the manager made us feel right at home. I definitely will go there again.

We just had our daughter's 5th birthday there. Staff was extremely helpful very nice pleasant to deal with great place to go and spend family time. The Conklin and brown families appreciate everything you guys did for us will be seeing you soon.

We've only been here for kids' birthday parties, both ours and friends. Their prices are good and their service is absolutely top-notch. And they've got really good pizza. The place is a bit old, but for our purposes anyway (kid parties) it is fine. If you want high-end bowling, this place is not for you. But for anything else, it is great.

Went to bowl with the family on a Sunday morning. The center was clean. The tables and chairs were in good shape. The lanes were quite nice. Only complaint was the staff was not very friendly. Will go back again, just knowing that it is not always service with a smile.

Bowling was fun. The staff (one in particular, didn't get his name) was fun. I misread the price. Thought it was$2.50/ game. It was per person per game. That was a little pricey considering, the one I used to go to was around $2 for the 1st game, then $5/ game. Also you take your own scores and clear your own pins. Why are we paying more to do more work. We had a good time though.

I went on a field trip there and it took 1 and a half hour to get my chicken tenders and fries but I'm grateful for them! The bowling was really fun! The staff was also friendly, they have great food except for the burnt pepperoni pizza my friend order for A LOT of money! XD I would definitely recommend this place when it is not short on staff.

Great place for old school bowling!

This is a good Duck Pin bowling alley. The lanes are good and they host a number of leagues and private parties as well as open bowling. The food and drinks are also good.

I went there today with my kids and Grand kids and. Ann and her co workers were awesome and did a great job with lanes ..shoes ..and food was great definately will be back.

Went on an obvious off-peak day and time. Wanted to order food and was asked if we were sure we wanted to orders food. We were then told that the manager would have to make the food. When we asked if that was a problem we were confronted with awkward silence. We then awkwardly turned around and went to finish up our one and ONLY game and left. Never to return again! The sad part is we LOVE duckpin!

Didn't know it was duck pin bowling. Haven't bowl duck pin in 50 years. Had a great time. There was one lady doing everything. Taking the money, cooking, solving problems, etc. She was AMAZING!!! However she needed help badly. You should never treat your employees like that. Pay the employees and let them work.

We had a coupon and I called ahead for lane availability. The lady said to give them at least 30 min to clean up after a party. We arrived an hour after I called, no lanes were available so we waited an hour for 2 lanes. Those lanes had actually been open the whole time so I'm not sure why we waited so long. Drove 8 hours one way just to come duckpin bowling. The staff was very welcoming and were incredibly accommodating when they heard we made the trip just to bowl. This is authentic duckpin bowling at its finest. They also have durabowl bumpers installed for the little ones to keep it fun. Kitchen, bar, and overall clean family-friendly environment make this the place to be when looking for something fun to do. Thanks again to those that made our drive and my 5-year wait all worth it.

Cons: - Prices are ridiculous! We paid $32 each for four frames of bowling. - Service is SLOW. We were almost done with bowling by the time our drink orders came out. Pros: - Food and drinks are solid. - Duck pin bowling is a neat experience.

I went with friends for duckpin bowling night, which was a lot of fun. The place looked just like any bowling alley. There was also a bar though we didn't realize that it was there because the door looks like it goes outside. Also, the food wasn't great. I ordered their cheesy bacon fries, which were barely warm when they got to the table and were barely covered in cheese. In short, if you're going to bowl, you'll have fun. If you're looking for an alley with good food, look elsewhere.

Management is rude and disrespectful. Walked in to get a lane and without batting an eye the lady goes "we don't have any available" I look behind me and she then goes "we have a party coming" it's going to be a wait. I already sensed the unwelcomness and I said "ILL WAIT" she walks away to go do something and a younger gentlemen asked if he could help me and I said "I'm just waiting for a lane" the part that confirmed it for me was when he had one immediately available. This place is low-tech, but incredibly accommodating. A great place for kids, it has your standard bar food, and is incredibly affordable to play by game. If you're looking for a flashy place with a large arcade you might be disappointed, but if you're looking for great Duckpin Bowling it's fantastic.

This duckpin bowling alley is a great place for bowling. It is clean and the lanes are well maintained. I'm only giving 4 stars due to the there usually being limited staff on busy nights which makes food take longer to be prepared and when maintenance issues come up on the lanes they can sometimes take a considerable amount of time to be resolved. However, do not let these things deter you from visiting this great duckpin bowling alley. I still love it here.

this place is a waste of time and money. the money you pay for a "drink" when all you get is a cup of ice. the women working here looked worn to death. I mean come on, hire some people and give people their money's worth. don't waste your money at this bowling alley. it's not worth it. my family won't be back that's for sure.

This is a clean and friendly establishment. The lanes all seem to be operating. This is one of the few 'duckpin' alleys left here in Baltimore. Fun place to bring the kids. They host birthday parties, have a small video arcade, and have a pool hall attached next door. The atmosphere is fun and entertaining, music plays all night. Beer is served along with the standard pizza and fried foods one might find at any other bowling alley. Plenty of parking. Star deduction - little outdated.

Bowling alley was OK. They seemed to be short staffed for such a busy location. Because of the lack I'm personnel, getting a lane, ordering food and getting assistance took longer than one would expect. The staff that WAS there was nice. I'd go back but not on a weekend.

It was fine. Our lane failed to reset three times, and the reset button didn't work. The website was not easy to navigate in terms of identifying whether this location had 10-pin or duckpin bowling. This l offers only duckpins.

First off, the food is surprisingly really good for a bowling alley. The pizza was so good we ordered 2. The mix drinks were decent as well and the deal for a large drink (free refills) is a no brainer. The lanes & balls are nice and the staff was accommodating. The only complaint we had was the old style score keeping. There's no digital system so you have to keep score on a paper score card using a pencil without an eraser. :( This place is ok to avoid the crowds but there are better duckpin bowling all

They were friendly to us and our party. They didn't rush us when we were cleaning up and finishing our games. It was fun and we had no problems. Thank you!

I will never go back to this location my cousin had a party there there was no all you can eat ice cream they didn't refill the drinks and No one came to check to see if we needed anything the whole time we was put in a corner the staff was rude of they want to run a successful business maybe for birthday parties a host would be nice to take care of the parties

The person working at the time we visited the bowling alley was great, I believe her name is Ann. She made us feel very welcome and happy to get us on all the necessities for the game. I would recommend this bowling alley to my friends.
