Great place to have a ton of fun!!! It's been a while since I've been here but the ?ol bowling alley got a nice refresh and it's still a great place to have fun with family & friends! It's now got a bunch of Bowlero branding and from the looks of it, they invested a lot into the place. The bowling is always awesome, there's pool tables for the sharks and potential sharks, a nice snack bar and bar. The arcade is pretty cool and they have decent selection of arcade games for the young and young at heart.
Great place to have company events. Excellent service. Clean and welcoming environment. Would have another event there soon.
Remodel look great. Big screens everywhere and plenty of bowling lanes.Staff was not very friendly or helpful. Bartender was rude and very slow. Pizza was okay. Prices were a bit high. Nice clean bathrooms. Also has arcade games and pool tables.
Brad was amazing. We had the best customer service we've ever had anywhere. They made sure our kids were happy. Just a great place for families. Definitely would recommend! I'll say it again, Brad is the best.
Very clean lanes, nice arcade, and staff is helpful. However the place is expensive. It was almost 50 to play one game with 3 people, even though one was only 4yrs old. Also arcade is flawed. We had so many times where it would eat our money.
Spacious, clean and great lanes. My only complaint is regarding customer service. I used to purchase a summer pass for my son a few years consecutively until a bad experience. We took a friend of his with us and I realized when we started the first game that I should have purchased his friend a pass as well so we could have a friend to bring more often. I returned to the counter at the start of the first game to request to upgrade to a pass and was denied. I expect better customer service. Whatever their go
Loved this place. Came here for my nephews birthday yesterday. Plenty of space easy parking. Great pizza and chicken wings.
Lanes and seating are nice, but management needs to put up a sign when the A/C is broken on a hot day. Would have stayed longer and bought more food and drinks if it wasn't suffocatingly hot and humid (and I lived in The South for 10 years so I'm no lightweight). A warning to ppl with allergies: the spray they use to sanitize the shoes is HEAVILY fragranced. Bring an extra pair of socks so you don't get it into your own shoes.
Best staff and atmosphere, we had a birthday party for my daughter there and they made it very special she loved it!
Had a ton of fun! There's lots of lanes, good food and drink selection and decent prices. Would come again.
Had a great time for my sister's birthday here. Lots of lanes, food and fun with my family. It's clean and the staff are friendly and there's tons of parking out front. One of the few bowling alleys in Sonoma County, worth the drive wherever you are!
Understaffed, felt like I had to wait in long lines for bowling, food, bar. Lots of mechanical and tech issues on the lanes which sends you to? a line to ask for help. Arcade was good. Probably just too much for them to handle on a rainy day.
The arcade part of this is awesome. Well maintained, and almost zero people- you just pick any arcade you want. Cost/quality ratio might be the best in Bay Area
Prices absolutely absurd, shoes were falling apart, terrible service, all hidden behind a new sterilized facade. Lost all of its charm very disappointing. Will never come back $50 for one game is ridiculous.
AMF Petaluma is an amazing experience. I have bowled 1000s of times at a bunch of bowling alleys and this place was hands down the best of the best! We did the superbowl package and it was totally worth it. Amber set us up and made the whole process easy. The lanes were smooth, there was plenty of balls and the environment was great. This place also has a badass bar with a pool table and a legit arcade. Christine was the manager and made our experience a 10/10. Valerie was the bartender and was slan
A bit understaffed for handling a bowling tournament. Ordering at front desk and having snack people deliver us an okay situation., but, the snack people got very confused and it took over 30 minutes to get our French fries!
I've been coming here since I was a kid and this place is just going downhill. Atmosphere was fine by staff were rude, untrained, and chaotic. There was a long line trying to check-out and no one was at the counter. When a woman finally came, she couldn't figure out to do the transactions and scoffed at us when we corrected our order and she had to redo the transaction. She didn't seem totally "there". There was also no one working the bar. It was as if all the staff took breaks at the same time. I also fou
Good family fun! My advice...MAKE RESERVATIONS! We went on a Saturday and waited over an hour to get a lane... Even though many were not lit up!! ??
Had a nice time. Except $66 for two people for three games each including shoes. A little pricy
I've been coming here for like 20+ years. This place is so fun. As a kid I loved it and as an adult I love it even more. Edit: this place has turned into a huge rip off in 1 year somehow. $80+ for 3 of us to play a single game of bowling and a single drink. Not worth it at all
The guy at the front with Long hair is rude. We waited 2 1/2 hrs for a lane we never got, People that had arrived after us got lanes before us.
We got my 8 year old girl the summer pass so she could go as many times as she wanted this summer and it was really worth it because she went a few times with friends. and once with us. We had a lot of fun. The lanes were great and the staff helpful, especially when my girl had to try on 4 pairs of shoes when she didn't know her size. I think this bowling alley would do much better with AC in the summer. I know that is probably a big investment, but probably worth it. We got hot while bowling and the heat
Brought a group of 10+ to AMF for a fun night with the coworkers. Christina, the Manager, was so kind and friendly and made sure we were all set up for our scheduled reservation. Marie, the bartender, was awesome and took care of our 21+ team members. Caley at the front had a big smile and was very welcoming. Will be back, thanks to those 3 being so fun and kind. Thank you guys. Sorry for such a late review!!
Reserve your lane(s) ahead of time if you can! We had plans to meet people and had reserved space ahead of time, which was a huge help?the place was packed! The people that work here are super nice and helpful. There's a great selection of bowling balls, the lanes are clean, and the music isn't too loud. There are large screens playing live football games, and old and new movies on the wall above the pins. There is something for everyone. We will definitely go back.
Be prepared to pay about 10 bucks per person per game. Super expensive when there are alternatives to this spot locally. Paid 100 dollars for 2 games for 4 people on a Saturday night. Absolutely ridiculously bonkers and unbelievably poorly priced.
The bowling experience itself was good. Getting a lane was a problem. Visiting from out of town, we decided to take a group for a game with a couple hours notice. We tried calling to check on availability but got a voice mail telling us to come on in. We arrived to a lone cashier working with a group ahead of us. Once she was done, she asked if we were on the waiting list, which we weren't. She was using a post-it note to track names but never took ours. Two or three groups were invited ahead of us. Aft
Love this place! We hosted a birthday party here and have gone with friends just for fun. Lovely helpful staff, place is clean and pleasant to be in. A fun mix of good bowlers and people just having fun. Go and support so we can keep bowling!
Enjoyed a great summer evening with my teenage son and his friend. Everyone we met in the alleys was friendly and the staff, especially Kenneth, were amazing. Already planning a return trip.
The atmosphere was great, the staff however was not. Most staff we came across had attitudes. When we left, my wife let a staff member know that it was flooded in the women?s bathroom, the one by the pool tables. The staff member gets snippy and tells my wife i know! No wet floor sign or out of order sign. We won't be going back.
The staff here is #1! My kids and I always have a great time here. The leagues are super fun as well!
Came in with friends to bowl a game or two. Place was empty but still took 10 mins for the staff of 10 plus people just standing around to finally help us. Basically told us we couldn't bowl unless we purchased an expensive bundle for like 5 rounds of bowling. Staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. I can see why this place is a ghost town. Left with a horrible first impression, will not be returning. I recommend Windsor bowling if you actually want to have some fun and bowl.
So much fun! Spent Valenties Day with my daughter and her boyfriend and had a blast. Kristin, who helped us throughout the evening, was a breath of fresh air. Thanks for making our night even more enjoyable!
This place has massively improved. Still some minor things. But they are irrelevant to the whole remodel. Accommodations for parties are great. Gets a little bit hot in there since were bowling. But I assume that AC repair is part of the remodel as well. Nonetheless. I enjoyed my time here.
Great place to bowl. Arcade, bar and pool tables.
First of all, they charged us 40$ ekstra and we told them about they charge us extra they even didn't say sorry. And 3. Game was 50% discount but they didn't give us the discount. And also middle of the game our game get broken itself. I mean that was the worst experience i ever had. Customer service was terrible.
The renovations look great! I was pretty blown away at how different it looked than in the past. The only thing holding me back from giving them 5 stars is the fact that they need to hire a few more people. Their workers are stretched extremely thin for such a big place.
Fun activity for young and old. Great staff and service.
This place is awesome I went with my friends and it has great service and no one bothers you
This place is so awesome! They have some of the best customer service around. Everyone of the staff are so friendly and the managers are very accommodating. If you are wanting to plan your next event or even just a fun night out with the squad, AMF Petaluma is your place to go!
A great place to bowl, play arcade games, and to have a great time with family and friends
Don't usually leave reviews but came here for a birthday party last night and Sarah at the front desk was exceptionally accommodating. She went out of her way to help us make the night special for our friend and we all had a great time. Rare to find such amazing service these days and it was sincerely appreciated.
It's not very clean and the staff are not always pleasant. Kids did had a good time but I don't think we will be going back.
I have done a lot of bowling, and AMF is the best experience I've had. The building was clean. The food was wonderful and the service was fast. Valerie, the bartender, was experienced and served us wonderful drinks with a smile. The staff were OUTSTANDING and kind. The manager, Christine, was incredibly personable. My friends and I are definitely coming back!!
I had an amazing time. We had a reservation but my friend was running late and the arcade on site was an amazing way to wait. The manager on duty (Chris was her name?) was extremely flexible with my friend running late and easily pushed back the reservation. Food was good (especially the boneless chicken wings) and beer was extremely fairly priced. The bartender (Valery?) was friendly and helpful. I wasn't planning on going bowling again while I am In town but I had such a good time that we are returning la
I haven't been bowling in years, but I went with three other friends and we had a blast playing three games (they've got a deal on Sundays) followed by some air hockey and skeeball at their arcade. One of the skeeball machines wasn't reading our card, but other than that it was fantastic. Everyone was super helpful and the whole vibe was really enjoyable. Will definitely be going back to play more regularly!
Came here Saturday at 6:20 PM. Asked for prices for 2 children and 3 adults. The workers said $10 each then as we're talking a man who is slightly bald comes and says we no longer do those prices. It will be $30 each for bowling in a lane and for games 10 credits. We asked if it's for the kids too and was told yep. Then told it was $27 without games. There was multiple groups of young adults buying alcohol etc but I feel like we were discriminated and tried to be up selled because we were a family with youn
If you're going on a Saturday, go before 6pm. Went after and it was jam packed! Not to mention the price goes up (after 6pm). It's fine for what it is. Nothing fancy. You can order food when you initially reserve your lane, which I recommend. You'll be sorry if you wait later (in a long line).
Went on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't terribly crowded mostly younger people. The bar was only open in the front entrance way so it took a while for drinks to be served because they were only two bartenders. However, the stuff was extremely friendly and helpful! I had a great time!
Great place to bowl, kind and helpful workers, though one of them has an attitude problem. The rest of them are extremely kind and there to help people have fun.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! They take your money! Oh and the unprofessional owner mentioned she is going to be taking over the Rohnert park bowling alley also! She was very unprofessional we gave a $70 tip for her employees that were kind and she said? $70 is a big tip for my employees they don't deserve it?! That rubbed us the wrong way coming out of a managers mouth! Then she ended up charge more than what was agreed! Be prepared to pay an additional $140 for a lane when your time limit is up and if yo
I bowl in a league that starts at 7pm it is now 5:30 and they will not let me bowl 1 game because there is an 8pm reservation on the open lanes
Went in for the bar and snacks only, not bowling. The bowling atmosphere was great though the bar was closed. They did serve drinks but to sit out in the bowling area. Had the Buffalo wings and cauliflower and they were great and good size portions.
Water leaking from the ceiling, dripping on me while i waited to get a lane. And they seem to be under staffed. Only one bartender handling drink and food orders. Literally 20 people in line. No server at the actual bar. Just seems really mismanaged. Unfortunate, because it is a really nice venue.
Showed up on a Sunday 30 minutes before they opened. Manager said they weren't ready yet but the arcade was open so my sons and I (6 and 3) played in the arcade for half an hour. At 12 we were told there was no space for us but we could come back at 2pm and there would be "lots of lanes" available. We came back at 2 and were told there was a wait list and they could take our number and call us when a lane was available. I received a call at around 6 pm. I spent $25 on their arcade, was not told about the w
I called before driving 30 minutes to bowl. They said I should no problem getting a lane. When I got there they said it would be about 45 minutes. Two and a half hours later I'm still waiting. It's like there's no system in place when it gets busy. Super annoying. Go to Double Decker instead I guess.
Didn't like the size of their food. Especially the big difference in the menu. The picture looked large compared to what you actually get, which is so small. It was shockingly tiny. Will never eat there again.
Long wait times for pretty much everything, but the food is on point (flatbread in particular)and the lane as are kept clean and polished! So in other words, they do the things that matter correctly (4.5/5 if that was an option).
I really love this bowling alley I have been going for years but I got overcharged
Bathroom was disgusting. Most stalls were used and no one flushed. I was able to use one that was just ok. One was leaking and the bucket was almost full. Doesn't look like they have a regular janitor.
We go bowling with the family every so often, and we always have a great time here. Very clean, friendly staff, good food and pitcher beers.
The people in the front were very nice and we had a lot of fun bowling! What ruined it for my significant other and I was the guy at the bar. He was not welcoming and rude. My significant other had about the same experience but with a female worker at the bar.
I know all the staff 5/5 and come here regularly (8x/M) the foods good 3/5 the arcade is kid friendly 4/5 and pool tables are heavily worn but still playable on 2/5. (Please note the edit here is before they changed the diner. ) Since they changed it the food is awful and tastes like oil. 2/5 for food only.
Not too busy. The shoes are well worn but well taken care of. The balls are kind of greasy feeling. Good music. Controls are 2005 programming. Pretty dark environment, except on the lanes, nice and bright. They have a small arcade area with multiple pool tables.
The restaurant is close to people, you have to order in front at the desk and pay for your food. You could Sit at the tables out side of the restaurant by the bowlers.or take out food to eat. The food is pricey for what you receive with your beverage. The bowling Alley and the price of the bowling games are great and the games are great.
Bought the summer pass and it's a great deal. Only down side was that some of the lanes were under maintenance or reserved for the league so at first we couldn't get a lane next to our other party members but they let us move once a lane opened. Also the new arcade is very nice.
This alley is outdated, overpriced and not even working properly. I took my family here on a Sunday, $7+ per person per game for outdated lanes where we had 5+ malfunctions in 8 games. The staff is friendly and food came out quick. The location is awkward and not easily accessible. I doubt I'll come back. There are better bowling alleys in the north bay.
Pretty typical bowling alley, 40 lanes, shoes looked newer and clean. Ladies at cashier were friendly. Went in a Friday evening and it wasn't crowded. I'll definitely roll here again.
The manager on a Friday night a few weeks ago made us feel bad because we had a Groupon. It was a deal for 2 people but there were 3 of us. She rudely interrupted the cashier (who wasn't doing anything wrong) and made sure that we knew our 3rd person would have to pay full price. She said it as if it was SO expensive that we shouldn't even bother!! It was very offputting. Her energy rubs people the wrong way and it can't be good for employee morale. Other than that, this is a place that offers it all. Bowl
Great bowling alley! Very family friendly and a lot bigger than I expected. Definitely go check it out.
I purchased 2 Groupons for this venue. The first one we used with no issue. The bowling alley was fairly slow that day so we had a lot of lanes to choose from. Staff was great, got us everything we needed. The second one they were very busy on a weekend afternoon. We were told there were no lanes, which there were. After I asked for another person to help we were able to use the Groupon. It seemed the counter person was having a hard day, possibly overwhelmed with the number of patrons at that time.
Inviting retro but well-maintained bowling and arcade center. Excellent helpful staff made the experience all the more enjoyable with advice and information from check-in to food and beverage service.
This place hasn't been worked on since it was built lanes are not flat ball moves once it hits bumps it's impossible almost to get a spare with one pin left ball will shift to right or left once it's almost to pin. Almost $10 a game we came from Rohnert park because our bowling alley had 2hr wait it was so busy. This place was crickets and now I know why?? arcade got it a second star bowling is definitely one star ??
Bowling is popular here, and there is also a variety of games for kids of different ages. We found a pleasant atmosphere in the place and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Great place to go if you don't care about being super competitive. Balls always seem to be super slippery. No bowling powder sold, so bring your own. Sliding price scale based on day. Night bowling starts around 8-9 on Fridays. If you're particular about your ball, they're hard to find on Friday/Saturday nights. Staff is amazing.
I ordered food on Thursday night, Food was good. Gabe was very helpful.
Bathrooms were abhorrent but it's a bowling alley so what can you really expect... Came on a regular day (no special event night or anything) and it was like most other bowling alleys. Lanes we're straight, wood was waxed, had different weight balls to choose from. Pretty standard, nothing stuck out. Food was okay but it looked like it was mostly microwaved. Again, it's a bowling alley so what can you really expect.
The employees were super nice. The place was very clean. The price seemed reasonal.
Very nice. Had the youngsters there the other day. Bowling alleys are fun for families.
A Fun place to spent family and friends time but on the expensive side. There are arcades and it is money draining.
Love the place, great for kids. Wish they had step stools for games for tiny kids and the new mindcraft game that other arcades have!
There wasn't many people at all for a friday noght. We enjoyed playing pool with no one around. Kinda quiet... the staff was super friendly!!
My special need social group loves tjis place and staff. They are patient kind and helped us work out an affordable plan for this diabled group who is on a very limited budget.
The lanes are great. Bar service is hit or miss. French fries are actually really good. Nachos too. Scoring system is dated but works.
only 1 worker there, you can only order drinks through the worker, vending machine costs $3.25 and only takes singles also doesn't give change back, arcade has some good games but its $1 for 2 tokens and average game is 5-6 tokens but the overall bowling experience is fun except the bumpers don't go up and down so you have to get a separate lane for whoever is using them.
Nice bowling alley, some of the lane equipment is out of date but you can still bowl just fine if you're going for fun. Not sure how it is for pro stuff. The food is pretty good, they have a bar, and plenty of other games like and arcade or airhockey to play as well.
They need to do some updating. The sensor on my lane didn't work and always said I hit 9 pins. The employees were very nice though.
AMF lanes is always been a staple for Friday night fun, whether with the family your buddies or an old school league on Thursdays! Drinks are okay and the food is going to be fried, they still have four pool tables, and many arcade games.
We had a great time with a birthday party here. Very nice help, clean comfy benches, looks newly remodeled.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
