I hosted my daughter?s Birthday Party here and it was a big hit! The kids felt safe and enjoyed themselves. When the birthday girl arrived her name was on the screen( she loved that) the kids enjoyed the arcade. I think they have done a decent job of renovating this bowling alley. I wish they would invest in new shoes. I did not go in the bathroom but some of the children complained saying it was dirty. The food was good and service was friendly and efficient. The pizza was hot and cheesy. I would recommend
Review of AMF Bowling: I recently hosted my daughter's birthday party at AMF Bowling, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The venue was clean and well-maintained, providing the perfect setting for a fun-filled celebration. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all of our needs were met throughout the event. I want to extend a special thank you to Mike, the floor manager, for his exceptional service. He went above and beyond to ensure that everyth
It's big and also spacy. Two things that are great for bowlers with their own equipment. Good customer service. We didn't taste the food though.
The time we got there, the place was very crowded. But there was a lane available for us to play bowling. We had fun. The guys who were there for us to order food are very attentive, friendly, and wonderful. It's definitely worth driving far from home. We will be coming back. I would recommend that the tables should be across on the designated lane. It was spread out, not accordingly. Aside from that, it was fun. My Lil man was static playing bowling for the first time.
This was my second time I been this one and I had realized my sports playing days was over after I graduated from Chimes those memories have not been pleasant in my life but I able to show my Smile and humor and love for my buddy Derek on his birthday that why we brother keepers.
Service was great when I was trying to get bowling done. Food was horrible. Pizza taste like school pizza french fries with salty as hell. Need water to dip them in.
My family has been in bowling leagues here for years. Great place
This is the 5th time we came to use groupon coupon every time we come here the manager does not let us to play this is really terrible service. you can see there is no one playing. All the lanes are empty and we came exactly at 4 pm , the guy in the counter said we can't use groupon on this location we tried yesterday to too and this is consecutively 5th attempt.
It is fun to go there and the arcade is small but it's a great bowling center, this is the best known center for leagues to come to, but sometimes the machines fail, but I do recommend coming to this place This video was taken March 13, 2025
Don't want to stay inside go to AMF BOWLING ALLEY Ebenezer road it's nice and cold in there... Have to go outside to get warm......I ??
great place to bowl!!! pricy unless you get the summer pass.
Had a good time with the family. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. Excellent service, Mike was a great help to us. We will return soon!
Great family fun...sign up for free events like kids fest. At kids fest kids bowl for 1 hour free and includes free shoe rental.
Solid ten pin alley. Great spot for kids party too. The staff was super nice and relatively attentiveZ the bar staff was pretty much non existent. Perhaps it was because it was early afternoon when I was there, but I generally enjoy a beer when I have bowling alley pizza and am bowling.
We went here because we had a groupon. We had a wonderful experience. Everyone was nice...from the lady that took our shoe size to the young man who took our food orders. Definitely will revisit.
Loved it! Awesome place nice people!
Has changed a lot since I was there last. Everyone was nice & the employees were really nice too. The food was a bit expensive but it was good.
Enjoy the professionalism and friendly staff. Bartenders was slow though.
I love this house. Lane's always have oil. Good Staff. My favorite Lane's. However, I'm disappointed on a few levels. They had a great manager named Deondre. This guy was the absolute best. Excellent customer service. Hardest worker there and someone in your HR fired him. Wow... Also, I've applied multiple times and haven't gotten a opportunity to work for Bowlero. I'm a multiple year regional manager for a Private Security company. I know I can bring excellent work ethics. It's still my favorite house.
Had a great time, but it would have been nice to have some practice rolls to adjust to the balls
First time in a bowling alley in 20 years. Sadly saw there were no slices of pizza ??. But everything else was very welcoming. Service was great, delivered our food to the lanes and the house vibe was very energetic. Was at a kids birthday party...went perfectly !
We made a reservation and received our lane quickly and on time. Bowling was great fun, but beware if you're on a budget (2 people for 2 hours with shoe rental from 5-7pm on a Saturday = $172.00)
We had an amazing experience for my husbands birthday. It was affordable and staff was very attentive. Kim helped us find the best deal booking our group and Mike managed amour party and was AWESOME. Very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely will go back.
I hadn't been to AMF Perry Hall in a couple years but my daughter wanted to have a party there. The bowling alley did not disappoint! Clearly under new management since several years ago, the place looks great inside and the service was awesome. The staff were attentive and we were given plenty of space and accommodations for our party. I liked how our area came with a little buffet table that had a lighted sign and a handwritten chalk one wishing my daughter a happy birthday ?? Highly recommend!
Great place to bowl a few. DeAndre at the front desk is absolutely great. Always friendly and helpful. Makes the bowling experience there great. Thanks again DeAndre ?? See you soon ????
Don't recommend using the "reserve a lane option" on their website. It was over $220 for 4 people to play 2 games. Even though the website stated we'd get 3 games, we got kicked off at the beginning of our 3rd game and would've been charged an additional $36 to finish the game we already paid for. You also have to pay a food and beverage charge even if you don't want to get anything to eat or drink. The staff was really friendly, alley was clean and functional but reserving a lane is a rip off. Do not recom
It's been a long time since being here. The pizza was good, the renovations looked nice and it had good customer service while ordering food and drinks. Glad y?all are still in business and doing well
We were 6 people tried to use groupon and came at 4:0 pm and there are pretty much all lanes available, but the guy in the front so called manager didn't let us use the groupon and we had tried yesterday too, and that guy knew about it as well, I wish i could give them zero star
This place is awesome! Clean and upbeat. Everything works just as it should. Staff were very polite and friendly. The food was very good too. The only issue was not the staff's fault at all. A city youth camp group came in and their so called chaperones let them do whatever they wanted. They were loud, obnoxious, spilling drinks, dropping garbage and not cleaning up, throwing balls in other lanes with two and three kids at a time. Thankfully the group finally left and the place went back to being pleasant a
My niece and her family came from NJ for the Thanksgiving Holiday and to celebrate my Great nephew/s 13 Bday! She got the package deal which was Absolutely AWESOME! It was a group of 15 of us and the food was really good and all of the kids had a Fantastic time. We are thinking about making this a annual family event. The Staff especially Ms Lisa absolutely great, and we can't Thank her enough. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
Always my favorite place to bowl. The Staff is fantastic and professional.
Ray was very helpful and very knowledgeable about everything I had questions about. Her alone makes me want to come back. If you get a chance to go there and you meet her, you will definitely feel like you are at home. She will ensure you have the best experience.
This is the second year we've had our kid's birthday party here. Both times it was on a slow, Saturday noon hour turned into a corner full of kids running rampant then making their way over to the arcade with no respect to other bowlers/staff; basically a day where no one would want to work. But both times we were greeted and supported by the friendliest staff. I can't get over how kind each and every team member were. We can't thank them enough. There were a couple miscommunication that occurred, but they
The event staff at AMF was awesome for my group! We had a bunch of adults just wanting a fun night of doing something different and the management team here really took care of us and helped us have an awesome night.
BOOK YOUR PARTY HERE**An edit to the previous review as we again celebrated our son's birthday party her because of the exceptional service we received last year. And yet again, the staff DID NOT disappoint!! A BIG shout out to Rhonda, Kayla, Bria, and Mike H. who ALL went WAY above and beyond in making our son feel so special on his birthday. My son and all guests said this was the BEST birthday party they've ever attended. I can not express enough how seamless and low stress it is to host a party here. Th
Took my family there tonight for the 1st ans last time. A waste of $170. The customer service at checkin and the snack bar was less than friendly. The floors in the table area were dirty. The bathrooms were disgusting! Will be reporting to corporate.
For instance I got a drink from here before and then got it at a different time and it was a different price. It also depends on who you sent to get the drink for you and if the bartender isn't trying to be spiteful. I got some top shelf liquor and was given a teeny plastic club that it was in. The only reason that was so irritating is because I've gotten drinks from here before plenty of times and it's always been in the glass. After I received it I went up to the bar and noticed the same size glass that
This place was one of the most surprisingly fun and enjoyable places I've been to in awhile. Located in an unlikely spot for a bowling alley, my boyfriend and I nearly went somewhere else thinking it wasn't there anymore. The people that greeted us were super friendly, the food and bar service were prompt and came over to our table to check on us and bring us our order. The bowling was cheap, the food was good (much better than expected for a bowling alley). The arcade games were fun and updated. It was an
We were celebrating my daughter's birthday as a yearly tradition with my family and the birthday host we had named Honey was amazing and she was very attentive to each of my family members. She also became a family member while we were there. If my daughter was still with us, she would've loved the host Honey. Great family place to spend time.
I would like to exclusively give a shout-out to Mike - every time I've visited he's provided excellent customer service, very friendly, outgoing, fun, professional & respectful. He makes sure everyone is satisfied with the service & is having a good time - the camaraderie between him & the staff is amazing.
I love this place! I remember when it was the old logo that said ?Perry Hall Lanes? and I also used to do a youth league there!
Booked my daughters 7th birthday party there. It was so easy, CC was so helpful. The table set up was cute. Everyone had fun. Ran over a little bit and they gave us an extra 30 mins free for bowling. My daughter had so much fun, also gave other parents goodnideas for their children's birthday party after seeing how much the kids enjoyed it. Staff was so nice. Food came out on time and was nice and hot. Thank you so much for making my daughters birthday so much fun, and making my life easier...hahaha
The service is always nice and the food is great. My family and I enjoy ourselves here often and can bring the entire family. Music is great and the employees, in addition to management are professional and helpful.
I had a wonderful time at the lanes. The staff was friendly and pleasant and the pizza was the best. Great atmosphere.
Manager would not honor online pricing and told me to try another location because they were closing early. Mind you it's only 8 o'clock pm. I thought y'all closed at 10? He responded 9 at the latest. Both employee and manager were rude. Last time here. Mind you the young lady who worked last monday was a stellar employee. She was more than helpful to me and my family.
It was a nice bowling ?? alley.
We love it here! Awesome place to bowl. Came here for a birthday party, the staff was super friendly, attentive, available and willing to assist when necessary. The party package included sooo much food!! Definitely will be back soon!
AWESOME! the lady who was getting us a lane was so sweet and awesome. lovely staff!! they were so sick :3 dont buy food there tho its way to expensive. fun times for friends
It was very fun and family friendly. Pizza needs help but other than that I had a great time
When we walked in all the lanes were booked, we waited and Mike made sure we got a lane, had a great time thanks to his great service! Will definitely be come back and hope mike is working when we do!!
I give this place 1 star bc I found a picture in the bathroom of a girl having sexual contact and my 3 yr old niece saw it and was asking questions she shouldn't be. We also had a lot of issues with our food not coming out at all and what we did get was wrong and cold and didn't even get an apology until we complained to management. We usually love it here but tonight was terrible.
I'm a league bowler, so it meets my needs. Some lanes seem to be fixed during play. They have updated some things as they are under new ownership the last year or so. If bowling on your own, it is pricy.
They keep the lanes oiled, the areas clean and the lines short. Way better than most alleys. Great pro shop. Recommend for all new and experienced.
This morning ordered grilled cheese with bacon at 904 am. 30 minutes later no food. Went to check he was just getting to make it. Delivered no bacon and cheese not melted. He brought another one down to me correct. Just another day in the alley.
Great atmosphere. Join a league!
Aside from the lane conditions that i was not accustomed to, Perry Hall was worth bowling in!!! As for The lane conditions, i am used to balls having more breaking than Perry Hall presented themselves....this is not a negative!!! Bowlers are expected to take what they see and adapt...to that end....i sid well emough to win against a strong opponent!! 48 lanes, plenty of space, full bar/lounge, smacks and dronks, arcade and pro shop....not difficult to find... Kudos to Perry Hall!!!!
My experience here was truly wonderful. (The manager handled this situation so professionally i want to see her in every establishment I go into now). Had a birthday party for my daughter. Did the online reservation for 20 people, had a question, called, talked to a rep who completed my reservation. Got there and my contract was different then what I chose online. The manager showed me the reservation contract she had and stated that this is what they had. I explained my end from a to z. Told her who I talk
I reserved a lane but was 30 minutes late so had to wait an hr for an open lane. Definitely had a lot of fun only downfall was the bartender was new and couldn't keep up. Waited 45 minutes for 2 long Island ice teas because she had no clean glasses. I even brought my glass back and still waited forever.
The bowling alley is very nice and clean. The food is very good. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because the place is always very cold. Most of the time you need to wear a light coat or a jacket. Summer and winter.
Well maintained and a good place to bowl from novice to experienced bowler. They do let kids bowl in street shoes so be careful and check the lanes before you try to slide. They closed the pro shop! The young guy who owned it Jake, took the time with you after the purchase of a new ball to get you acclimated to it on the lanes. This is a big loss to this facility! He was an avid bowler with major skills and helped me improve my game. They have tried to fix the place up with new floors and tables and chairs
This was the worst bowling experience of my life. The lanes worked a third of the time. The service quality was as poor as it comes. The employees were rude and had bad attitudes. The water fountain didn't work. The food was extremely over priced. The bathroom entrance was parallel with a stall and had no door, therefore disregarding a person's privacy. Never bowl at these lanes!!!!!!! It absolutely sucked!!!!!!!!!!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Place was clean and I enjoyed my first visit. This means that the manager is doing an outstanding job with their employees morale and welfare. This is my new preferred bowling alley
Customer service stinks. Clerks lack respect for customers. Waited almost 15 minutes before a clerk at the counter. And then was rushed because the clerk decided to put me on a lane they were using for the bowling league. There are other people that enjoy bowling. The hours are inconvenient because of loss of profits.
Lousy experience. Came in early on a Saturday to a nearly empty building and after waiting to be acknowledged by an employee at the desk, was told there were no available lanes? while I stared at 10+ available lanes. Sucks that this place hasn't gotten better over the years. Go elsewhere :)
The pandemic is making it hard for local entertainment chains. It's not a bad spot, considering. The food menu options aren't always desirable, but great fun and customer service. The food is what makes the bowling/ alleys and even the movie theater attendance not so desirable. Healthier tasty alternatives are needed for them to compete. Local native food items like: Maryland crab dip with pretzels would be a good item to start with, crab poor boy or just better food choices. Bowling costs a bit after two
AMF Perry Hall lanes has become my favorite place to go Bowling ??!! The workers are so very nice & helpful! The place is always cleaned up! You can order delicious food & Adult drinks while having loads of fun! Go and see for yourself!!
So if you aren't on a league and you come for the Sunday Funday $2 games you will feel very unwelcomed! They act like it's a problem that you came for the special! Why run a special if you don't want a group of people with their children to come and bowl there? There is like 20 open lanes and the guy just shakes his head and says there isn't enough lanes! They did end up accommodating us after I talked the guy into it, but we def won't be returning! Bathrooms were disgusting food was terrible and service wa
The coldest bowling alley I have ever been in during the summer and winter. Actually winter is a little warmer. I've been going here 3 years. This year they changed the food service company and it stinks. The old pizza was great as was everything. Now you need to eat before you get here.
Clean and well kept bowling alley. Either their beer lines or kegs needed to be looked at because the head on the pitcher was about have the pitcher lol. Don't book a party here because whoever handles it couldn't understand the difference with reserving a lane or the party. We almost had to cancel our party reservation, but they wouldn't allow us to get a refund. They claim that you have to ask for a refund 10 days prior to the event, but then offered to push it back 4 months. That's ridiculous to me
My son's football team celebrated here. I love the buffet table idea for parties. We definitely will be using them again.
Very nice clean place. Didn't get to try any of the food but a nice place to bowl with friends. The people there were also helpful when we called from them through the name system when we had a problem
The venue is deceptively large. Do not be fooled by the external appearance! With 48 lanes the place is very spacious and has a nice family atmosphere. Some updates have been made, with flat screen TV, but the lanes have antiquated equipment. Our lanes (9 & 10) were fraught with problems of pins missing and balls getting stuck. Management was minimally helpful, but not unfriendly. We had to seek assistance four times, and finally wound up requesting an extension of our 2 hour rental due to all the iss
DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. Not only are they racist, but incredibly disrespectful. I came here tonight with my family to enjoy some bowling around 7pm. They did not close until 9pm and the man working at the front was clearly trying to get out early, as we requested 3 games and he said no let's start with 1 to see how time goes..... ok we play 1 game and another and are done very quickly. We ask to play another (with an hour until close) and the same guy goes ?are you sure you're gonna have enough time??
It was okay. A good tap selection and the music was cool but they charge by time and not per game. Three of us slipped on the lane while bowling be careful.
Best place to bowl in my area everyone is nice and friendly. Recommended for anyone. Though $25 per person is quite much , but other that great place
My best friend Mary and I have been going quite often with the summer games. I was always extremely satisfied until today when the young girl Melissa gave us a total of 4 games not 5. Our first 3 were free with the summer card and we paid for 2 more each. A total of 5 games each. She didn't believe me and thank God I asked for a receipt. She never apologized and was rude about the whole situation. Today was a very bad experience for us.
Nice bowling alley. Very friendly. One of the best.
Had a Great time at this location With me and my family. Everyone was very professional and friendly..The younglady at the bar was wonderful. , Hats off to the staff and management of this location
Such a great time, I absolutely will be going back again, all the employees were so nice and helpful Mike especially went out of his way and made sure we were enjoying ourselves, can't wait to go back!!
came here for food, got no food! they ended the service immediately and left children starving!! don't recommend this horrible place.
had a Groupon for 2 hours of bowling. loved the lanes. everything else was lacking - as in unavailable. no food drink or bar. doesn't tell you you can only get WATER until 5pm. who goes bowling and doesn't at least order fries and a coke? today we did. and no outside food or drink so you either lose your money for the time for your lanes OR you go hungry and thirsty. not even a snack vending machine for chips or SOMETHING. I've never been to a bowling alley where you couldn't get food or drink, but
When we arrived around 915pm we asked about cosmic bowling. We were told there was a league still playing and they had to wait until they were done for the music to get turned up. This never happened. If there was a league (didn't appear to be) when they left the music never got turned up. If there wasn't cosmic bowling it would have been fine but we truly didn't appreciate being lied to. The shoes my husband got were falling apart, literally pulling away from the sole of the shoe. Then the food was subpar
Solid spot, decently priced, cheap drinks, not terribly food Only real complaint is the ?arcade? it's like 5 machines and the machine to fill up your card with credits is broken
A decent bowling alley for the locals, but there are better places to go if you want a more enjoyable experience Edit - 1/4/20 Since my last review, I have removed a star due to the fact the manager of this alley allows people to come in, disrespect nearby bowlers, and turn a blind eye to it. Bring it up to him? He will just say what can he do about it, they are going to do it anyway. Such a shame Edit - 7/25/20 I have noticed considerable improvement to this establishment and have reverted my review back
My boys treated me for Mother's Day. We had fun. Very clean, hand sanitizer available on tables. They have everyone social distancing.
Bad service even though the bowling lanes empty they didn't let us to use our group on coupons and the guy in the front was so rude.
If could give this place 0 stars I surely would. This past weekend I paid a visit to Baltimore. Prepared for a very exciting weekend, one of our many plans was to get in a few games of bowling. Saturday 09/16/2017 around 5:50PM I was very excited to arrive at Brunswick Zone Perry Hall Lanes, at 4359 Ebenezer Rd, Baltimore, MD 21236 to see so many free lanes on an early Saturday evening. I promptly rushed to the front desk and requested a lane. I was told by associate Chris that there were no lanes availab
My self an my family has been bowling at perry hall for the past couple weeks an I must today was the last straw the ball return ruined 3 of our bowling balls an when we went to the front desk to tell them they where rude an disrespectful saying it's not there problem there ball return ruined our balls an didn't do anything about it. I will not be coming back to this location. This is not how you treat your customers at all.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
