My experience at AMF Mount Lebanon Bowling Alley was fantastic! It's a great spot to unwind and enjoy a fun day of bowling with friends, family, or even your league. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, perfect for a morning, afternoon, or evening of entertainment. They have an arcade for the kids, a spot for food and beverages, and the option to rent bowling shoes at reasonable prices. It's a great place to get some exercise and practice your bowling skills. I frequently visit during the week to relax an
AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes is an awesome place to spend an evening! The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and everything from check-in to getting set up at the lane was smooth and easy. The staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome right away?they were quick to help with anything we needed and kept everything running without a hitch. The lanes themselves were in great shape, and the whole place was clean and well-kept. It's a perfect spot whether you're out with friends or looking for a fun, low-key date n
Very impressed with this place. The price is higher than most places however they seem to understand the market as the place was packed. Lots of screens showing music videos and other entertainment. Many light options and very clean.
Took our school students here for a field trip and had a wonderful time! The bowling alley is beautiful and clean. Staff members were so kind and accommodating to our large group. Food was great and our kids had an absolute blast, would love to do this trip again!
We had a lot of fun. It was a busy day, but they still had lanes open. Drinks were as expected for a bowling alley. They made a fine Caucasian, the dude abides
Sticker shock when I got my receipt. most expensive bowling alley I've ever been to. Shoes are a size smaller. Shoes had knots in them when I got them !!? Distracting videos at end of lane above pins. The light from videos obscure the markers on lane with reflection. What is the point of putting cartoons without sound above pins??? They would run the lane cleaner in front of you when you are trying to bowl. Bowling balls are at one end so if your lane is at other end you have to walk to other end to get bal
The bowling alley is great. I couldn't go five stars because I have watched kitchen staff blowing their nose etc... and not washing their hands. I understand it probably happens everywhere but when it is seen it is different.
Love this place! Last year we had our bowling league here, and everything was always fantastic! This weekend we hosted our daughters birthday party here, and as expected, everything was awesome! Great atmosphere, good food, delicious drinks! And amazing service! Highly recommend!
Place is really big compared to other bowling centers in the burgh. I had a positive experience and visited them during off peak hours so not many people were there. However, they had 53 lanes and based on the feedback I got, it can get pretty busy during holidays and evenings. The bays were clean, nice balls, slippery tracks and friendly staff. I will definitely visit this place again and recommend to anyone who likes to bowl. The drinks and food was good as well.
The staff is so kind and generous. They were very helpful and kind to my nephew who wanted to play in the arcade more than he wanted to bowl with the wonderful dinosaur bowling assist apparatus. The place was clean and well kept. Staff was knowledgeable and understanding. Highly recommended to all ages!
I've attended two FurBowl events here and had a good time! There's a bar, a concession stand, and an arcade. During the FurBowl you can find karaoke in the bar. The concessions are your usual alley food with Pepsi brand drinks. The arcade is small but has some fun games like basketball or air hockey.
I don't mind a quiet atmosphere but they have to be losing money cause it was pretty empty for a Saturday night Also I paid $14. for a titos cranberry juice and a bottle water Titos was $9 Cranberry juice $1. and my bottle water was $3 to 4 INSANE...... Fyi my titos was a single shot Dirnks r way over priced SMDH
Review in November 2021 - We came back with my sister, who is visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend. It's very expensive to bowl on a Saturday night (I spent $80 for three people for an hour) and I spent $12 for chicken wings and fries!! But if you look past the price, this place has more than 50 lanes, they have a kitchen, a restaurant and bar, and a small arcade. The food is very very good, probably the best bowling alley food. Review in September 2020 - I came back here with my husband for bowling after
The lanes themselves are great, the staff was super helpful, but the bar.... man is the bar SUPER overpriced! We will be back but not to drink! Also, the Arcade games were expensive too .
We had fun and enjoyed our bowling experience! Staff was helpful and pleasant, and the place was kept clean. I highly recommend!
My children had so much fun. It's a big facility and my Groupon was honored. Will be coming again. The bowling was fun and the arcade was a hit for my children.
I used to go here all the time. I came here a few months back and had a blast. Tonight however, the old man behind the counter 1st yelled ate saying I can't have my drink in there I had to take it outside. This was before I even had a chance to speak. Then as I requested three of us. He was too busy on the walkie talkie reporting my dog to management to here me. Then as she came over he than began to whisper to her. I mean seriously, how unprofessional can you be. I guess he was trying to ruin our evening.
It was amazing! I went there to volunteer to work the Olympic Senior Games. I met a lot of wonderful people from all over the country. I have not been to the Mt Lebo Bowling alley since I was a kid. This place is spacious and fun for all who come to play. The food ?? is delicious from the snack bar. There is a large video game play area for kids, Pro Shop to buy the latest bowling gear, and a bar ?? to have a drink after you score the perfect game. I recommend this this place for a family fun event! Enjo
Great bowling alley. Had our sons birthday party here and everyone had the best time! They also have a small arcade that's fun.
It was so much fun. The workers were very friendly and pleasant. It was a Sunday night and the league was coming in to play. But, we were not rushed. The workers even accommodated for the extra family members that came unexpectedly. Nice place for a party as well.
I would have given a five star. But I guess that since only 4 or more lanes were being used the last hour. They decided to close a half hour early. So I felt rushed at the end. Service was great. Food was great. Workers were wonderful. But I was with my grandkids and daughter and we were celebrating something special.
This was our first time here for a tournament. We'll definitely be going back. My son loved it.
Went here the other night with my wife and had a great time. They have a lot of lanes, good snack bar and cheap drinks. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely bowl here again
We took our 3 year grandson bowling for the 1st time. This place was GREAT for beginners. They also have a small arcade
Love how the bumpers can go up for individuals when playing in a group. Kids themed score screens. Clean atmosphere. Nice food options. Arcade area for the kids. Large with lots of lanes.
This place is totally whack. I just walked in and they want to charge you 10.99+ tax for one game a Bowling per person absolutely no reason that anywhere of any game should cost $11 plus for one game of bowling. I will never come back here.
Nice atmosphere and lots of fun. Food was pretty good too. Had chicken sandwiches.
Good alley with friendly staff. Came for the furbowl and had an incredible time. Looking forward to going again
the best place for bowling and floofiness alike. very fun place to chill, and atmosphere chill, a but loud but thats bowling on a Saturday with furries and karaoke for ya ;3c
" Dont take your child there or have them sit on the chairs." They will charge you full fee "IF THEY STEP" up in Shelton lane. Kids are not going to stay in one chair specially, when they are in place like this and should not be penalized by charging parents. Lady behind the counter was very discourteous and impolite. She had ZERO respect for customers and lack of consideration. It was my first time at this location with my guests from other state and VERY UNPLEASANT experience. Good luck to you all.
Great bowling alley. Really well kept up. The youth league is also amazing. Join if you have kiddos!
Really nice, automatic bumpers come out for set bowlers. But little pricey overall 3 players 2 games and food $160
My friends and I went yesterday, and it was our first time; the place is clean and big; the service is good; but, one of the employees was unprofessional in his dealings with customers in front of me!
I like the look of it just not there prices to bowl it's a rip off just like ZONE 28
We just had a birthday party for my daughter there over the weekend. Emily was our party person for the party. She was wonderful! She helped us with every aspect of the party, even offered to help us carry presents to the car! She was there to answer every question or assist with anything we needed. We would highly recommend this place for a party. The kids all had a blast! Thank you!
Definitely will visit this place again. Had great experience on my recent Friday visit. The staff is friendly and food was amazing. This is such a friendly place for kids and families. You can arrange a huge party and it will be amazing. Lanes and technical side of things are well maintained. There is a store to buy different bowling stuff. There is Bar and drinks are available with reasonable prices.
They are so nice there it's a great place to bowl the allies are fantastic
Looked large, clean, and updated, but prohibitively expensive. Stopped Saturday late afternoon and bowling was $12 per person per game and shoes were $6. So for 2 of us, one game would cost $36. I don't understand businesses charging per person when they share the same space. Discourages groups and could have made that money in food/drinks. I asked why so high and they said it was their popular time, I looked around and they were less than 10% capacity (51 lanes, i believe) Went over to arcade and th
Recently came here with a group of friends when in Pittsburgh. We couldn't find a spot at the one in downtown and came here. The place is huge, there are a lot of lanes and very spacious. Service was nice, kept clean and can get a bit crowded in the evenings especially with the league crowd. The pricing at this location seemed very reasonable, the prices vary depending on what time of day & week you visit. Saturday evenings are most expensive, even then it seemed pretty reasonable to me. You can also rent
I can't bowl for any thing but the gentleman working tonight was very nice and informative. Had fun either way. It was a tight house but a few lanes were open there when we arrived at 8PM
Food is good. We are always bowling here, especially in the summer. Friday night tournaments are great. James Holes runs those events. The pro shop is excellent run by Ramon. Knows his equipment, and how drill a ball to fit properly. Can't say enough about the pro shop. Treats his customers with respect.
We brought our youth group here and had a GREAT time. Emily was very attentive and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed (from food to drink refills to shoes). We booked online a few days before we went and there were two lanes for us when we got there. Very impressed with the service and can't say enough how Emily was a ROCKSTAR!
We really liked the experience but 45 dollars for just two games seemed like a lot mainly because you're sharing your lane with someone else while others aren't. Maybe if sharing is necessary, there could be sharing of costs, too? Just a thought. Of course, I realize times/costs have changed so I understand. ??
The league I bowl in, recently moved to this location. The lanes are better than Princess Lanes however, I have to be honest and say I'm not a fan of the bar service there. The food is mediocre at best. More like food/snacks for kids vs adults and the booze is very pricy in my opinion. I think the place needs to revamp their food menu and I would suggest hiring a few staff to wait on folks as they bowl like Princess Lanes does which I miss. If the bar had better quality food, lower priced beer (buckets
We were here for an event and it was awesome! The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were good, and it's such a fun atmosphere! Wish we had time to play with the arcade machines more! Maybe next time!
Have to check out furbowl, lots of furries having fun.
The lanes themselves are very clean and well maintained. Incredibly overpriced bowling and horribly slow table service. They forgot our order. I also couldn't believe it was over $100 for three games of bowling and when I called to inquire about the charge on my card, the woman chuckled and said, if you knew what it takes to keep a bowling alley running you would be shocked that we don't charge more than that for your bowling games. Poor customer service all the way around. I wouldn't waste the time going
Sandy is a great bartender she is wonderful. The food menu suck chicken tender or fries when people can't have fried food. Need to have something better to eat for people like that. Thank you
I guess it's all about perspective. But I think I'll always remember this place as the first place BOTH the wife & myself won at bowling. How does one win at bowling, you ask? Do they throw a 300? Maybe. We didn't, but we still won. It's because they had free macaroni & cheese and free cheeseburgers on this day. Guess what? The first time we bowled here, we won!
Went here with my family n my sister's family and had the absolute best time. The bartender Sandy WAS BEYOND AMAZING N FRIENDLY, A TRUE ASSET TO THE PLACE. Our kids even mentioned how sweet Sandy was. The place is clean and employees were all pretty much nice. Will definitely be back with or without kids, because of Sandy... Good job on how to run a business, we all had an amazing time. Thanks...
Lanes clean. Bar staff wonderful. Come on the 3rd Saturday night (usually) of each month, and you may meet some of these upstanding creatures. ??
Nice lanes but extremely overpriced anymore. Played two games with another adult and two children and it was almost 100 bucks. Na. Never again. Used to be able to enjoy bowling now that's even through the roof. Sad and y?all should be ashamed
Had my sons birthday party there March 25, 2023! This place treated us great.. and we had a fabulous time! Special thanks to Rickie Nelson who handled our food and drinks? he's the best! What a great guy!!
We had our sons teenage birthday party at AMF Mt Lebanon. We booked it short notice and they were more than able to accommodate us. Rickey and Tyler were super at making sure we were all having a wonderful, fun time celebrating. Lots of food and drinks for everyone, and more to take home. Very thoughtful considerations as well. We would highly recommend booking your event at this venue.
I went here to have fun with my family. We had 2 lanes, one for the kids and one for the adults. We had to book online and pay for shoe rental even if we had our own. We thought we could get our money back when we checked in, but they do not do that. They told us we have to call customer service. We ordered snacks since the kids were hungry and the food was okay. I know not to expect great food but perhaps some hot food would have been nice. When I went to get a drink at the bar, the bartender was gone. I h
These lanes are fairly oily (my weakness) so if you throw a hook, you'll need to be prepared. Well maintained from what I have experienced. Pro Shop is top notch. Good classic bowling alley that hasn't forgotten what it's core competency is.
They helped out our big group and we really did appreciate it.
lovely atmosphere, very happy with the furry bowling meets main problem was the food served, took a very long time to get, and made me feel sick for an hour or so
I brought some family members who were in town for the weekend and wanted to bowl. We had a wonderful experience and Ricky played a huge role in that. He was very attentive, professional and friendly. I'm not a bowler but my family members are and they had a great time. I'd definitely recommend this location.
Ridiculously expensive at this alley! Last trip here.
Every December & January Special Olympics Pennsylvania has their Western sectional bowling tournament here & I've gone 2 years in a row, this will be my 3rd year & I'm looking forward to being there again
Had my daughters bday here with her 6 friends all 8yrs old. Wasn't sure what to expect as this was our first time there. The best part of it was our host Ricky. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Ricky worked very hard to make sure our food came out on time, was hot as well as our drinks full and he did it for 2 hours with a smile. He even helped with all the trash and clean up!&@! Good service is hard to find but if you go there you have to ask for Ricky because we will!
Great experience for my 7-year-old's birthday party today! Rick was amazing - he made sure we had everything we needed. Only complaint is that if you have fewer guests than anticipated, you have to use up your "credit" at the party that day. No refunds or future use. Service was outstanding, food was good, and kids had a blast.
Didn't have any running water when I was there. Disgusting ??
My friends and I have had a great summer experience at the lanes. Mt Lebo lanes provides the summer pass at exceptional value. This has enabled my friends and I to repeatedly bowl at a great price and alley. All the staff have been extremely friendly and accommodating. Ricky in particular continually gives us smile when we go there. He is friendly and helpful, and he always has a good joke on hand.
Me and my boys saw that they had a summer deal which was $55ish for 3 games every day of the summer, obviously we had to hop on that. After becoming regulars at the lanes we became fond of not only the establishment but also the staff. They are all around very helpful but in particular Ricky goes the extra mile. If we ever have any issues or concerns he is the first to help us out, and always has a smile on his face. We love going here and will continue to do so.
Had an amazing time with my family on Sunday April 10. There were 6 of us and the food and drink and bowling was so much fun. Sandy our bartender was outstanding. The workers at concession and the ones that walked around picking up trash etc were super nice. Place is very clean. Will definality come again.
Booked 3 lanes for a birthday party had set price. 400 plus drinks shoes and all. Now charged extra for time after 30 minute set back. Ordered extra food drinks, and now got charged 45 per lane or 10 per game per person. After dropping 500. Place will never get our business again. 5 dollars for a large diet pop. Never again
Probably best approach In the area and lanes are in great condition but that's the only good thing. We were charged $10/game and were tricked on the meal prices. They gave us league menus which had discounted food prices. 4 of us bowled 2 games a piece and each of us ordered 6 Boneless chicken wings with fries. Our total for this was $140. We were there for 75 minutes. Friday at 6:00
Nice bowling area had great fun
Had a wonderful time here on New Years Eve. We had a group of 12 people for the Ball Drop Package. We were greeted by Dan with a very warm welcome. Everything was supplied for a fun filled night of fun. Pam our waitress was friendly and did a really good job keeping up with everyone. The facility was very clean (even the bathrooms) with updated scoring with many themes for all ages to enjoy (graphics were amazing). We will definitely be planning another outing at this facility.
The prices are a real shocker, we were expecting a fun family outing not a wallet bomb. It was my wife and I and our 2 kids, we bowled 2 games and we were hit for over $80. Add in the pretzels snacks and drinks and it was well north of $100.
Ricky was a very hard and attentive worker, very funny and in general an awesome person. Just to talk and meet with this persons is enough to come back I left a review about 2 weeks ago but I came across another very hard working, determined, professional worker and it was the General Manager John, it's rare to find workers that go out of there way to please customers. I don't normally go out of my way to leave review but these guys deserve it
Nice place and nice staff. A little on the pricy side though
Had a great time here on a birthday. Ricky set us up and took care of us which included a handful of adults and a whole gaggle of children. He made himself available and constantly made sure our needs were addressed. Great time overall!
This place is really big and a great place to have fun and go bowling! I've been there many times at different times of day. Early afternoons is the best because it's so quiet here. Because the place is so big, I've never had a wait here even at busy hours. Sometimes we have issues with a bowling ball getting stuck near the pins, which an employee is usually super helpful and fixes it for us right away! But every once in a while certain employees get annoyed with us over it. I totally understand how frustr
Always enjoyed this bowling alley, never too busy anytime I've gone.. & they changed the place around a little since the last time I was there. They now have a ok but expensive arcade area (don't waste your time or money on the claw machines)
From a bowlers perspective, well maintained, oiled often, newer equipment. Watched all 52 lanes operating with one mechanic who sat most of the time. From an entertainment perspective, bar- decent selection, arcade - entertaining, and different modes of bowling to keep the kiddies entertained. Clean with a friendly and helpful staff. One of nicest AMFs in western PA
Been a few times, and always enjoy it. Good for bowling fans, but also good family fun. We took our grandkids and they loved it. They had a nice birthday party for them, they had a nice ramp to allow them to bowl. The food is good bar food...all good and hot. The fun is affordable as well.
I come to this bowling alley twice a week with my clients who are mentally handicapped and to say that they accommodate to us would be an understatement. John upfront has always been a very welcoming energy for my clients and our staff but who really stands out is ricky Nelson. Since day one I've seen him engage with all of my clients when he didn't have to and take time out of his day to converse with me and make sure our group had everything we needed. Ricky?s never hesitated to express his respect for me
Great atmosphere and good apps ! The cauliflower bites and pretzels are fire
Had a wonderful time out with my S.O. We hadn't been bowling in forever, so this was a welcomed night out. The staff hustled their butts off and assured customer satisfaction! The best part? They were kind and accommodating despite the staffing shortage. I will be back for my Son's 6th birthday!!
We had our 7 year olds birthday party there this afternoon and it was so much fun for everyone. The staff were all amazing and so accommodating! A huge thank you to Ricky for making sure we had everything we needed as well!
Visited on a Friday. Everything was clean and staff was friendly. However, the prices were insane. Will definitely not be back until prices go down. I don't know how families can afford to come here unless you come during the week or non-peak hours.
My nephew, Leo, celebrated his 10th birthday here and we were so well taken care of! They put everything together for us and were more than accommodating with our additional requests during the party. Special shout out to Ricky for going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed, before we even asked!
Great bowling place. Drinks are good, lots of good bar food/snack selection. Arcade is nice if you have to wait for a lane. The only down fall is it gets packed quickly and you do end up waiting for a lane to open if your not there early.
I've been here twice for the monthly furbowls. The people are usually quite friendly. A tad understaffed but I can tell the workers are doing their best to keep up when we all come around! One of the staff members was quite rude though, he was an older custodian. When cleaning, he slammed trash bags against the floor aggressively right next to patrons and was rude to several people there, me included. The bathrooms are also not the cleanest. Otherwise I've enjoyed every experience there.
6 people cost 174$ for 3 games a person not including food or drinks. Don't even mention the drink prices. Who the hell pays 9.59 per person a game for bowling. And they didn't turn on the cosmic lights until 1030 when it's scheduled for 9. Mediocre food selection and quality, staff seemed frustrated and flustered. One star experience, won't be back.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
