Always have a great time here with my wife and kids! Staff are super friendly and helpful. They run a great evening open bowl special that's perfect for getting some league practice in and grabbing a few cold ones! Place is well maintained and SUPER SUPER clean every time we've been there! Always impressed & definitely a reflection of the staff and management! A bit pricey by the game and shoes individually, but that's everything nowadays. The food is great and good portions! They offer food/beverage
Had an amazing experience with a large group of kids. Staff was very helpful and quick with finding us lanes next to each other and getting everyone their shoes. One of the most cleanest bowling places. Also, kids kept on changing mind if they wanted bumpers up or didn't and staff was nice and quick about making it happen. This location has multiple little kids ramps that were easily available to grab and use. Enjoy a party or just random bowling date at this facility.
First I must say I thought bowling was a "dying sport" I am HAPPY to say at AMF Medina lanes it is NOT TRUE. I really like bowling but admit I expected to go there and see dark and dingy "old school" lanes like my Father took me to. NOT SO, the lanes were clean, the atmosphere bright and VERY modern in appearance. It looked to me like a totally fun party place. I reserved lanes on league nights (fully packed) and open bowling nights (also fully packed) where I saw families and children having the time of th
Great fun for an afternoon with the family! Great for all ages, everything provided. There is great food and beer if you're hungry and thirsty! Great service from the staff too!
We had a great experience at AMF Medina Lanes for our 5 year old's birthday last February. It was organized and a perfect table setup for food and gifts at our lanes. They served great fried bar food that everyone loved. There seemed to be a lot of parties that day and everyone looked like they were having fun. Thank you !
Good fun bowling:)) A vodka Sprite is 10 dollars so I had about 5 of them! Bartender was very nice and it became pretty uncluttered at 9 pm:))
OMG. Where do I start? ???? Bowling- I came here for the $20.49 unlimited bowling special yesterday night and omg, this has to have been the most fun I've ever had in my life! Absolutely had a blast and a wonderful time bowling unlimited! I even meant a new friend and had a great conversation with her! Food- I did order some cheese breadsticks with a medium soda I think it was medium size. Absolutely delicious. Bit pricey, but worth it. Believe I paid almost $11. Staff- the lady at the front desk was abs
Medina lanes has survived the test of times. Lower the cost of soft drinks a bit.... and we're golden.
Very nice facility, was recently here for step son?s bowling tournament. While it was extremely packed, the facility did the best they could to keep everyone in order.
Nice bowling lanes and atmosphere. Had a great time.
Lanes are just as nice as anywhere, maybe even better. However, food is awful, even for a bowling ally. Speedway has better pizza, lol.
Insanely expensive food and drinks. The bowling prices are fair but don't go here for anything else
I spoke to a Jasmine and will not be booking my party at this location. She should not be working the phones without knowing how the "pricing" works. The whole process felt made me uncomfortable. Bowling should not be this difficult.
We had a party here for a team building event. The kids had a great time. The food was good. I do not recommend the pizza.
Friendly staff, answer all your questions, help in a timely manner, kitchen staff wouldnt change the syrup for the soda, not sure why, guess he thought it was fine, but manager quickly checked and resolved issue.
Came here for my nephews birthday pre paid and everything and the guy at the front desk caught an attitude and threatened to kick us out. Never again will I be retuning.
Went on a Friday with about 6 people. Had to pre book via phone call. Had two lanes for 2 hrs. It was expensive. But fun. Nice clean place as well.
Had a night with my family and was made to leave the lanes due to a league game coming in and they didn't inform us
We did our daughter's birthday party here and the staff was very attentive and amazing. They were constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything, refilling our soda pitchers. I would highly recommend them for a party and we will be back.
Never bowled here but came to watch some friends on league night. Very expensive on the drinks. Over $20 for a Corona and a mixed drink. Feel sorry for the league bowlers pockets
Nice facility. Everything seemed to be kept up pretty well. I just have to give it a 2 star solely for the price of everything. The cost to bowl at any AMF establishment is astronomical compared to its competitors. Charging $7.14 a game is thievery. I would love to support AMF. However, I can't justify spending $150.00 for five people to bowl 4 games.. I would like to go here often, but can't financially justify paying double for the same product as competitors. I understand they have deals on certain d
My wife had a small birthday gathering here for my birthday (keep in mind this was a Wednesday evening). The staff is very friendly at this location, however the AMF branding makes it very difficult to do business with them. My wife paid close to $250 for 11 people to bowl on 2 lanes for 2 hours. We purchased probably close to $100 in drinks, however when the 2 hour mark came we had 2 frames left to play. Hoping the establishment would be friendly and accommodating to let us finish our game, given a
I took my family there for new years eve which was supposed to include food for all five of us. We got enough for one person which we were supposed to share between five people. They did not have Napkins, enough salsa for the chips, and ran out of the full size pizzas by the time they got to us. They could not make regular food because of the back up caused by the special event. We went to macdonalds to eat. In past years, they did a buffet. What was confusing is the number of tables around us with rea
Just want to take a minute about the staff! Annette in the kitchen is the nicest lady very attentive, great with younger kids.. she is an asset to the company Mike the manager is a great worker devoted guy! (So is the rest) Samantha in the kitchen is very friendly and tries her best to make sure food is there in a jiffy with large crowds. Tyler is also very devoted and attentive always helping and giving a cheerful hand! Sheronn does an excellent job as well as the bar tenders very polite CLEAN place and g
It's a good alley, nothing to really complain about. Place always seems clean and well kept.
Had several problems with pin reset and retained bowling balls in the back. But the people were very nice and helpful. It might have just been the lane that we are on. With several open lanes I was surprised they put us up against the wall... Overall we had a fun time, just a few hiccups...
Very nice bowling alley, a lot of room. Food is very good, way better than expected. They dark neon bowling, and other fun stuff.
AMF Medina Bowling is ALWAYS a great time! They even have great food! We went for black light/ night bowling with our teenage kids. It's a great time for all ages of the fam.
Very nice alley. Well kept and very clean. As others have said it is very expensive here. It was our first time and we paid $30 a person to play 3 games. Wish they would run more specials more often.
Turkey first game 139. Second game 132 spares and pins 2x. Over all pins 1940 won series.
This bowling alley is very nice and clean, the staff seemed very helpful and friendly. The prices were slightly high but not to much more than average.
We came in early before the official open time of 4:30 on a Wednesday since we were on a walk and the weather turned windy and cold. The staff let us in anyway and we were hungry. We ordered off the special weekday menu. If you get there before 6pm they have $5 appetizer menu. The tacos were delicious and the fries very tasty with the seasonings. The chicken tenders were tender. We decided not to Bowl we played Pool instead. The pool table looked new and its in a very spacious location with a nice bar area.
Nice clean bowling alley. The machines ran good. Didn't have to call the desk for a ball return or anything. Hadn't bowl in while and the prices blew me away. 4 bowlers 3 shoe rentals bowl 2 games was over $70.00. It was on a Friday night but I couldn't believe how much bowling a game had gone up.
Large and open with plenty of room to move and meet friends yet intimate enough to not be a cold and lost in space. With the bar tucked close around the right corner you'll have good ability to navigate the drinks and fun to and from the lanes. Bring your date your family your bestie! It's just a great fun place to get a bite, and unwind with friends while you knock some pins and cold ones back. Aloha!
Super Clean and Fun! Great staff and awesome spot for parties!
Spacious, numerous lanes, very clean & lots of fun! Kind staff members. Half of the lanes were cosmic bowl & half were regularly lit.We were able to choose our preference at no additional cost. Not sure if cosmic bowling was because it was in evening or if this option is available all the time. It was not crowded & We had a great time!
Highly recommend for a child's birthday party! The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. They took care of every detail, all we had to do is arrive and enjoy! When I asked if there was anything I needed to do, the gentleman that was running things said "have fun", and we did :)
The facility itself is nice, but the overall experience is usually not. I started going here after moving to Medina and have constantly had disappointing experiences. They never, ever have enough people working there. The line to get a lane is always barely moving. Food/drinks are a complete waste. The bar looks like they started renovating it 20 years ago and stopped, and it can take up to 20 minutes to flag down someone to get you a drink. Often times you will have to order a drink from the employee g
I used a groupon for 4 people which was excellent. 38 dollars for 4 people with shoes for 2 hours. But we had 5 people so I paid for myself to bowl on a separate lane.which I was quoted 5.05 at 330 and at 515 when I went to pay I was charged 19.30 for 3 games.which she said price changes at 430 and cant do anything about it.so very upset they did not even tell me at 430 it would go up knowing I would here for 2 hours.
crew was nice, the one member came over and joked around with all of us for a while, gave her a $20 for being so nice, overall good place ! -Tyler Rogers
This place has definitely went down, food has gone down and the bowling and there leagues are terrible not to mention how they constantly bash smaller bowling ally like T&N lanes for no reason even know T&M lanes in Brunswick Ohio is a much better and family owned bowling ally with great food not just you garbage bowling ally food like the AMF lanes, the staff is also so rude every time I go into the establishment but T&M lanes is always friendly and has a way better atmosphere an all around better. Don't g
Had a birthday party at this facility. Exceptional staff. Very clean. My family and I had a great time. Will be going back. Please try the chicken wings and pizza. All around great atmosphere. Also parties very affordable. Thank you all for your attention to detail and professional staff.
Staff tries to do a good job with cleaning due to covid but they all seem frustrated and overworked due to lack of staff and many were very unfriendly or courteous and bathroom water situations still persists air hockey table has broken up doesn't stay on full time another game is out of order and they've gotten rid of other games that were better than what they have now. Very much miss all the old staff.
I come here every Friday night to bowl unlimited bowling for 20.49 (without shoe rentals) and always have a blast
Prices have gone up so much that it's ridiculous. The balls and the lanes and the bar are what you'd expect from any bowling alley, nothing special. But the fact that it ends up costing about $80 for two people to bowl on a Friday night is insane. Bowling used to be the cheap activity.
18 dollars for a shot and a draft? These people are nuts. And they shut my game off before I took my last turn. Won't be coming back l. Sad
13 bucks for all u can bowl on wends including shoe rental was a good deal. The drinks could use a little work tho. Dude in kitchen had no idea what he was doing but I didn't expect a bowling alley to employ a chef.
If I could I would give it a negative the staff was rude and not friendly. My friend went to the bar standing there the woman saw him didn't say anything then went to help other people then after that helped about 5 more people that was there after him it took him 22 min to get his drink order taken then 15 min to get a bear I would hate to see what it would have Ben for a mixed drink?. Then the man ringing us out at the end of the night was not very nice then I gave him a coupon that was there's and they w
Well maintained modern facility. They turned out the lights since I was there a few years ago.
Haven't been there in over thirty years. Took a granddaughter and bowled a game in the dark- light side. SO FUN! She's four ... They had gutter bumpers and a dinosaur slide the her ball. Great afternoon.
First time here. Its only 7 miles away since moving out to Seville. I went to the Fairlawn location a few times previously but ultimately stopped because of the price vs the competitors. It seemed every place tonight had leagues except here so we came out and gave it a try. Pretty nice facility (as most AMF's are) although the lane we had was totally toasted dry (cant really count it as a negative as it was probably a one off). The screens all worked good and we had no issues at all. We had a pizza and it w
Thank you AMF Medina for making my daughter's 14th birthday a memorable one! The whole process was as simple as it could get.
Staff is always nice BUT....Food is way too expensive! Purchased nachos and got enough cheese for 1/8 of the chips! Same w the loaded nachos, was barely any cheese or chili on it at all!!! Very disappointed for the $65 paid for food! The alcoholic beverages had what seemed to be no alcohol in any of our drinks! We all bought a couple drinks and stopped bc they all tasted like juice!!!
like anything anymore, it's expensive for what you are getting. We went there and it was $140 plus tax, plus a convenience charge of $11 dollars to book online.... all for an hour and a half. I think it's overpriced for what you get.
Very nice and clean. Very friendly employees. Me and my friend had a few drinks from the bar, they were very good. The food was good also. Only downside was the price. For 4 people that bowled 2 games it was $63.
Haven't been bowling in over 20 years.Loved the fact we choose AMF Medina to make an appearance again. The 2 at the desk were super friendly and the place was super clean and well kept. Nice work staff!!
Well not trying to brag but I got 3 turkeys and a 152 that round, so I would say it was fun. Ever since I was 4 I have been going here, and this place holds a special place in my heart. I 100% recommend this place.
Definitely my favorite bowling alley. They're somewhat expensive, but if you go earlier in the day it's cheaper (and if you go on Sunday it's practically nothing), so you really want to be looking for the deals at this place. Otherwise they have a lot more then just bowling, with other things to do like pool, skee ball, and other arcade type games. Finally, their drinks are amazing, try the strawberry fusion lemonade ??
Staff is terse and mildly rude. They are very unclear and have a can't be bothered attitude. Otherwise it's a fun time with a couple of good arcade games.
Been a long time since I've been here. But, every time I've been here, nothing but fun times with bowling and friendly staff! I love the disco lights the best. AMF, you deserve 5 stars for being such an amazing bowling alley!
The staff there was EXTREMELY RUDE, their is no reason to talk to guest that was especially when they are showing you respect. To start, the front desk guy was very impatient and rude, the way he spoke to others in my group and me as well was AWFUL! He spoke over me while I asked him a question and he rolled his eyes at me. there was so much more but that was the overall experience with him. Then the lady running the snack bar also decided to roll her eyes at me after asking he what soda products she had, s
As of spring 2013, they remodeled one of the two bathrooms to a more modern decor. However, they installed a hand dryer that blows the water from your hands to floor which in turn covers the entire entrance to the bathroom. Anyone that has bowled before knows water on your shoes is not a good thing. Food service is average. Food prices are high. The manager doesn't do a good job of pleasing customers or long time league bowlers. I bowl in the largest league they have and in the past three years management
The staff is always helpful and friendly and continuously making AMF a fun place to bowl.
First time bowling here and we had a great time!!!!!
OMG!!!!! This staff is amazing!!!! They were hit hard with a small crisis and never let us see it in their performance! They stayed positive and smiling the whole time!!! That makes me want to come back!!
Love it here! Always have a good wholesome time with my fam or date nights.
Friendly folks, food was decent & timely, clean atmosphere and we had a blast!!
Poor customer service, not accommodating. Will not return again. Entered with two separate parties, 2 adult friends and my 2 daughters. We asked to pay separately for two lanes next to each other, one lane no bumpers and one with bumpers. The lanes were visibly available. At first, we were told ?no you will only get one lane,? then we were told ?I'll give you two lanes but I'm going to separate you.? This was at 12:30pm on a Friday.
Staff member we encountered was super rude. Instead of just telling us the policy and wait time for a lane he felt the need to be a smart a@@. I am sure he thought he was being cute but we won't be back.
This used to be a great place. Me and my family went bowling on Saturday and the lane we were bowling at wasn't sending our bowling balls back. We spent a lot of time sitting down and waiting for someone to keep going to fix it. This is the second time this year that it happened and my kids were very disappointed as well. I figured they would give us a discount for the inconvenience but we were charged full price as if everything was working SMH
Had a kids birthday party here and it was awesome great staff. Now I want to have my daughters party here. Great prices.
Very expensive - @$40 for a family of four, 1 game each with shoe rental. Very dated scoring systems and spotty pin setters on our lane. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the overall experience was disappointing.
Atmosphere was good! Most people were nice!
So much fun, great music food and drinks
I like this bowling alley. I think the normal day price is kind of high. If you go in the small time window when it is cheaper it is not bad. Staff is friendly and place is tidy.
This is the best bowling alley in the area. My daughter loves when they turn on the black lights in the back half of the lanes for ?cosmic bowling?. The fact that management is responding to all of these reviews is enough to convey how much they care about customer service.
Nice facility, but the price is outrageous. Will never go there with my kid again. Just not worth it.
AWESOME place to bowl, particularly on unlimited nights!!! Lanes are in great shape, bar is well stocked and people were so friendly. Cheers till next time!!!
Great atmosphere. Good price. Good food and beer. Very clean environment. Family friendly, too. Highly recommend as a local activity!
Worst experience I've ever had bowling. While waiting, paid way too much for food and drinks. Watched as games had closed on lanes, but those same lanes did not open up. 80 minutes later, I went to the desk to ask what was going on and finally got a lane. 15 minutes and $26 later, our time expired. Pure ridiculousness. Will NEVER go there again, and will make sure that everyone I know will understand that that place is a pile of expensive =#*!.
Staff is super nice and the facility is very clean. Great place to take family or friends for bowling. Good selection of balls and shoes too.
Very good and friendly staff at the concession area but the guys at the front desk were extremely rude to my family and we saw them taking videos or pictures of us for what reason is unknown. Not worth the money we spent here
Friendly staff and incredibly clean atmosphere. Great food and it's run by a manager who genuinely cares.
Came with some friends. Place is very nice and up to date. Great atmosphere
Not too bad the links were a little dry Sunday
It's a really nice bowling alley but it's kinda expensive. I went on a double date here and each couple had to pay $34 for two games and shoe rentals. It was still really fun though, and it's definitely a nicer bowling alley.
Nice bowling alley, great staff. Very expensive, 70$ for two adults and 1 kid playing 2 games with popcorn, drinks and a pretzel. The popcorn and pretzel took ~30 minutes to be served.
Had to give it one star to have this post. ??Used to be great but new management is crappy. Found out that each manager makes choices about league bowling and the current manager, Brian, seems to be a power hungry megalomaniac. Sad to see how one person can wreck what used to be fun. I miss Matt! (He is in Columbus! good for them!)
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
