Excellent experience! Came in to bowl yesterday with a group of 10. Was told Sunday is a full house of leagues, but if we were willing to wait a few minutes, Sarah would try to arrange lanes for us. We have family with us from Turkey, and feel the management went above and beyond to accommodate us. She was so busy and needed at least one other person to run the desk. Her professionalism, courtesy, and appearance was top-notch! Not to mention, the cheesy bacon ranch fries were out of this world!
Insanely expensive?. Over 60 dollars for me and my 5 & 8 year old to bowl 2 games? I had my own ball and shoes and they needed shoes. On top of that. You have to have everybody have bumpers or nobody. I'm sorry but that is crazy, from my understanding this bowling alley has been redone twice. My usual lanes in Clermont allow for per person bumpers AND it's like $8 an hour for a lane (not bowlers). This place is way more modern, but can't do the simplest of things, and you have to pay a ton more. The only re
Too much staff turnover, longevity is not their strong suit. Food and beverage prices are thru the roof. Bathrooms are touch and go,sometimes clean sometimes not. Water pressure is awful.
We can't say enough great about Leesburg Lanes Pro Shop. Both my husband and I bought new balls. They were measured and drilled perfectly. Also, we were easily able to get on lanes to test the new balls (Monday and Tuesday)
Alley basically full with leagues. We reserved a lane ahead of time. Employees & manager were super polite, alleys were great. Forgot to take pictures
Went to a birthday party this past weekend here and had fun all the way around arcade, the lanes the food everything staff and everyone there was great. I Will Definitely be going back.
5-22-21 First time going we had a great family time. It's well worth it, we went on a Saturday night got to the bowling alley at 7:30 made reservation and we played till about 9:45.The front desk worker showed great customer service. We also ordered from the Food bar,Marilyn was the only one by herself and I felt bad as we ordered a lot of food. But she got the job done all in a timely manner and was very nice. For one person doing everything, service and food was great. The only downside the bar was missing
While the atmosphere was great, the bowling area was less than pleasant. It was dried out and hard to bowl on. The kids' bowling ramp is warped.
Food is not good - paid $36 for a sampler and soda. Food was not cooked well. ?? Also paid $115 for 4 people to bowl and shoe rental.
I want to say thank to the staff of amf had a awesome night last night at league lanes were perfect and my whole team did really well we appreciate u and to the food area as always awesome people see u guys again next week
I take my camp here every spring break. The reservation process is so simple for large group events. And the staff is so accommodating and friendly. I bring about 40 elementary aged kids. You can imagine the chaos that comes with that many kids! The staff is always so patient and seems genuinely excited we are there! Couldn't ask for a better experience
The staff at AMF were professional and courteous. We had a Birthday party for our grandson and they dealt with the kids like second nature. Will definitely book my next birthday at AMF Leesburg, FL.
Great time a group of ladies from church went we had a blast
It was a nice fun atmosphere but they were very short staffed in the kitchen so the food was not so pleasing
AMF Leesburg is a wonderful venue staffed by a gracious, efficient and friendly crew. Always a full house and always accommodating their customers. Gerry and Tammy at the front desk are outstanding in all they do for their customers. Lenny in the pro shop is very helpful. The lanes are a very welcoming space. Lots of fun and positive vibes. The facility is immaculate as well. Thank you Gerry, Terry, Lenny and AMF Leesburg Lanes!
I am sad and ashamed at how the upper managements at this center treats their kitchen. I was in tonight and witnessed an off duty manager being extremely rude to the lady carry Ann right in the middle of her trying to take customers orders. This is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be addressed. That poor girl didn't deserve to be treated that way. She is the only person I ever see actually doing their job and doing great at it. The food quality has also been better and actually hot when we get it. Please
Me and my family went on a Saturday night to bowl for a couple hours. We wanted some snacks but they close the kitchen 2 and a half hours before they close. There were a bunch of people in there, I'm sure they wanted snacks too. There was a guy behind the counter that was closing everything down which I thought was crazy to me on a Saturday busy night. So if you decided to go to amf in Leesburg make sure you eat before you go.
Reserved a few lanes for a group. We had a good time. Any issues we had were quickly resolved. The staff was helpful and available when needed. The lanes were in fairly good condition. Some equipment malfunctions and we were moved to other lanes while the staff fixed the ball return. Good experience. I would use this place again for my event.
Lanes were in great shape. Clean building and reasonable prices.
Great employees. Austin and his team goes above and beyond for their customers. Making everyone feel welcome and like family whether it's your first time bowling or if your a regular. The leagues are great and definitely worth the money if you love the game. The food is wonderful. The best bowling food you can get. They everyone is great with our kiddos and the kids love the arcade. Their bowling shop is amazing as well. We got custome drills on all our bowling balls. He take the time to make sure its com
That was my first time there it wasn't busy people were nice and kept to themselves me and my friends had fun the food is freshly cooked and I had refills for my soda with no extra charges and prices were cheap for Monday so I definitely had fun
Wish the person working the desk know that Mondays at 3pm that the Roundy Rollers are bowling and have a set price
Dream Chasers Elite travel basketball team went here after playing 2 games while many miles away. It's clean and we had a great time
Nice people, clean facility. Pins are a bit light so if you hit the pocket solid you get a lot of 10 pins due to the 6 leaving early. But you hit them thin and let them spin, you'll get a strike every time. They have a bar with draft beer and a concession stand. The crowd was mainly elderly when I went, but very pleasant people to talk to. I'd definitely go back.
The place was fairly clean, but my over all experience was poor, from the lack of support from the staff after being harassed by a group of elderly bowlers right next to me and my group. After reporting the problem to staff, we were told it was going to be taken care of. It never was, and we kept getting harassed. We ended up leaving and not finishing out game out of frustration.
My husband and I just came in tonight as a regular for many years and was disgusted. We were waiting at the counter to order when the older lady Jerri that works days came up and caused a big scene and we felt horrible for Carrie. This Jerri lady is always rude and disrespectful and what we saw tonight is possibly the last time we come. We are contemplating taking our entire league to another bowling alley. Management needs to immediately take action and at the least she should apologize to the lady (Carri
Loved coming here to bowl. Was cheap for a family outing and we actually ended up leaving early we were so tired. Leagues were there having a great time as well that increased the vibe. Food was great. For a cheap family outing do it today.
Lane accommodations, friendly service, small food area, and 2 bathrooms.
I really enjoyed my time with my family here for a few hours. $100 bill for six people, 3 games, and food... Very agreeable! The staff were friendly and helpful, The Establishment was clean as were the bathrooms, and we even blew a few bucks in the game room. Thanks y'all, we had fun.
Went for the pro shop and was unable to get service. They weren't busy but obviously didn't want to sell a bowling ball. House is pleasant but I can't comment on the lanes as I didn't bowl.
This is certainly our favorite bowling center? to league bowl and open bowl. Chris is a wonderful manager that treats us like family, the center is super clean and everyone is just so nice and friendly.
Old alley, poor service over all. The bar tender was actively complaining and talking about how he should walk out with customers present. Kids had fun
Like many businesses, this one is very staff constrained. Management steps up and covers many different positions, but it is far from ideal. The AMF team is very hard working and creates a very family friendly environment. We find the food is surprising good too.
Nice facility, rude staff ruins the experience.
Lots of fun. A little pricey for not having state of the art equipment but never too crowded.
Love this bowling alley. Great food, great employees and great lanes. We are new to Florida and have made this bowling alley a weekly visit for a ton of fun. Plenty of room and even has an arcade with pool tables. Try the snack bar for great food and even better mixed drinks!! 2 thumbs up!!
The staff was great. Tammy came over and made sure everything was perfect. We had a large party and had order food ahead of our arrival. Great service and fun time was had by all of us. Thank you Tammy.
This place does not seem integrated in 2024! Stopped off to get a cup of coffee and I understand they don't open until 1 pm but the over 40 big lady at the grill looked me square in the face as I stood at the counter and straight ignored me but when the Anglo man came to the counter she ran up there so I left but it's not a big deal because I drive 2 miles to Dunkin and fo?got some love from the Sistah on duty! Thank you Leesburg Dunkin near the Publix for the love and for the freakin coffee lol. The one
Freaking new manager.... So I've been bowling here for decades, and for League I've been able to pay for the week I'm on, but this manager is telling me that I have to pay for the whole month.. I'm disappointed cause the manager started out decent, but now he's trying to start league early, moving us to the other end of the lanes and now requiring me to pay more for League... Not happy!!!
Always seems to be an issue with one employee there (Tammy, if you ever have or will bowl there you can't miss him, yes him). Putting open bowlers next to us on lanes as we are trying to bowl in our leagues. Plus, we always seem to be missing our free games, when we show up to bowl them. we are told they were gone (we didn't use them). Tonight it was a group of belligerent young drunk kids who kept getting up as we were trying to bowl league. We told them politely that you wait until the bowler on either si
Myself and my daughter took my grandkids to bowl and they had a blast
Went on Tuesday where they have $2.88 games/pp, $2.88 tacos and $2.88 tall boy miller lite or long Island ice teas after 7pm.When we got there around 730pm they were busy. We hot our lane. I went to get 2 beers. Turns out they were all out.....??. Errrrrr, so had to pay $5.50 for a tall boy bud light. Oh well, had fun, lanes were good and kept very clean. Will return.
Bowling is fun and cheap but food is way over priced for the quality and took the whole game to get fries. The woman at the front was not friendly at all seemed like she didn't want us there or she hated her job just didn't feel welcomed at all. We came for Monday night deal .
Very nice place great environment a lot of leagues go bowling here. There should be a lot of couples that go bowling here and a lot of single ladies that go bowling here
Great place to go with the family is was a blast the food was great the staff was very helpful and friendly but there is a tall old lady named TAMMY with long gray hair and glasses that was very rude it was my first time here and a lot of people told me when I go I'll see this rude person and unfortunately i did she wasn't friendly at all but I guess there's a bad apple in every tree but we had a great time we will be back again thank you I would have gave 5 stars but TAMMY had it under the chip on her shou
Nice place. Cool grill/ bar. Way to expensive. 2 adults and 2 kids to play 2 games and rent shoes was 92$.
amazing experience! its my hometown lanes and i wouldn't want it any other way! tammy is the best and gives the most positive vibes that i need to bowl my best game.
We came in with a group of friends for our weekly bowling. We were well accommodated bt Tammy at the desk. We had a ton of fun and are looking forward to our weekly get togethers.
Local place off 44/main. Nice alleys nice people nice place as you would expect a bowling alley. Small area for game machines, food area and check in. Good selection of shoes and balls. I had a very nice time. Might be interested in a league.
Wish I could give it Zero stars. I visited on 10/8/2020. I walk in, get setup to bowl, but I had forgotten my water bottle in the car. I went to get my water bottle. The lane attendant let me to know that I am not allowed to bring my own water inside. Not Soda. Not Juice. Not Alcohol. Water. At that point I left before I even began to bowl, and will never go back. I was about to spend money on bowling and food, but they rather give up that sale in lieu of me not bringing my own water in. Unbelievable.
Service could have been better but a good was good. Prices for bowling is decent.
I really didn't like this bowling alley. Why is the ceiling black???? It's a bowling alley not a movie theater. The black ceiling made the lanes dark and who wants that. Was assigned lane that wasn't made ready. No one cleaned off the table at our lane that was full of empty glasses and food containers left by the previous bowlers. Had to take the previous bowlers balls back to the rack. Lastly, most alleys are on the cold side but it was extremely warm and no ceiling fans were running or turned on
Go to this place on Mondays for bowling league and ordered the nacho avalanche and it was actually the best I've had at this place in a long time. Carrie Ann is the best in the kitchen
Very pricey on weekend - 60.00-75.00 for 6 people. Cheaper on weekdays. Staff was friendly. Clean and recently remodeled.
Fun place for bowling with family and friends. Cold beer and pizza.
We LOVE AMF!! We used to go or another alley and are so glad we switched. We are now on two leagues and bowl frequently on other days. Nick, Tammy, Jeri, Christy, Mike (not sure I spelled names right but they know ??) and EVERYONE treat you like family and sincerely care about your experience!
Had a blast with the family n they also have pool tables
Really friendly staff had a great night
Came in at 10pm paid for unlimited bowling till 11pm was thinking clearly that I was only going to be able to play one game with my family and TAMMY working the counter was the one that recommended I do unlimited bowling knowing I was only going to be able to play one game. Still charged me $85 for unlimited bowling when we got to play 1 and half games be ause they shut it off mid way thru our second game
outstanding. very impressed. quality, friendly, efficient staff. Entire party of 18 individuals that I went with, had good time . l highly recommend . Great place. thank you. will be going back!
The staff are really nice and it's a good atmosphere, but we both got sick from the food we had there.
Very nice people work here. But it is a little bit difficult to get a lane with all the leagues they have. Every time I've ever gone they figured out a way to accommodate me which is really special.
Always a great time. And don't have to break the bank to do it!
The arcade games were expensive and a couple don't even work. However, the lady who works the snacks/drinks counter is fantastic!! Don't forget to tip her!
Amazing!! Beautiful renovation, amazing staff, and wonderful management. The manager is so sweet and is always working hard to make others happy!!! Love this place!
I have bowled here for years, I am happy with most everything they provide. The reduced hours is understandable but not consistent or convenient.
Games were fun bowling. Fried cauliflower was good. Nachos with "meat" and cheese not so much. Beer was good.
Best lanes around. Very organized. Highly recommend
It is a great place to have lots of fun with the family! The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the place is very comfortable. I couldn't think of a better place spend my time :)
What a fun place!!!! It's off the busy roads and is a hidden gem. We had a blast!! Food was great as well...... I haven't bowled in years and they had bumpers!!!! Slick idea and i bowled a 53 with those bumpers!
Clean place friendly staff. They have $2.19 bowling on Sundays after 6pm. They have specials throughout the week check out their website to take advantage of them. My family had a great time.
It was a horrible experience this Sunday evening. Every lane was taken up by bowling leagues during Sunday fun-day. Not a single person was wearing a face mask or any sort of facial covering and didn't maintain 6 feet of social distancing.
Had a blast! Only downside is the gutters are manual, so they are on or off for everyone in the game.
Thee alleys are well maintained.. often busy with leagues. Call ahead for open bowling hours. Choice of balls is limited.
I have not been bowling for almost two years. I started bowling last year in a senior league. The managers and staff could not be more responsive and cordial. However, I am somewhat disappointed with the racking machinery as it is often malfunctioning, resulting in often being required to change lanes to finish our games. Not sure if it is because of a shortage of mechanics or old, worn, and outdated equipment. I imagine the racking equipment is probably the most costly part of the bowling alley. Replaceme
They told me they would honor my Amf card when I called them ahead of time. But when I went to check out they wouldn't honor my league card, because they've never seen a card like mine. It's really not right, because if they had any questions about my card, they should?ve looked at it before I bowled. Guess I'll never bowl here again. This bowling center seems to be going under.
Personally, I'm terrible at bowling, but this place had a calm environment and a good staff team to help you out. They do serve food and drink while you bowl, and they do offer an arcade to use. Overall, it's a nice bowling alley.
Visited on 11/25/2017. Had a wonderful time! Staff were professional, pleasant, and kind! Aesthetically pleasing! Warm, welcoming & great food to boot!
Great place just lanes we're being a little weird not displaying the right scores. Other then that had a blast here great service
It is a shame that management refused to turn on their ceiling fans during weekly league bowling causing folks to sweat in the heat generated from 100 other people bowling. Believe comfort should take priority. WHY?
It's was nice had a good time the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because they took too long to bring the food and drinks other than that ????
We had an amazing time at AMF and a special thank you to Tammy. You made my daughters birthday perfect ! We will be back !
We'll appointed 32 lanes, nice and clean. Next time I'll be sure to bring my own shoes. The house shoes would not allow a decent slide, made the approach hazardous.
the staff here are wonderful, and did a great job of accommodating to the party we had there. reasonable prices and an overall very fun time!
Friday night, all you can bowl for $17.99, and the place was empty!? We had a great time and the food and drinks were good.
My self and three others bowled there for over 20 years, it went to hell in the last 3 years, between the 4 of us we spent at least $400 a week there, that works to be over $20,000 a year they no longer get from us , and yes, tyranny started the process
Use HOUSE BALLS these lanes will chew up your own ball. (Take small chunks out of your ball that will need repaired), unless that doesn't bother you :) nice place to take your family, to keep everyone happy with so much to do!
The people that work here are amazing and there manger is very kind and hard working making sure we had a good time!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
