Sheila & her team were FANTASTIC with my son?s 3rd bday party - it wasn't just ?business as usual? for them. They made my son feel welcome, gave him/us a card, and really personalized our entire experience. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Definitely our go to place for everyday fun and future birthdays and other celebrations for a long time coming!!
Never been here before but this place had free bowling for the kids and it was great. Food prices was not that bad and better than most movies theaters. Could keep up on the one bathroom being clean but I not complaining.
I booked my daughter's 5th bday party here after being highly recommended in a Facebook Mom's group. I paid a deposit for 7 kids and 3 days before the event i told the event planner i had 11 RSVP. I was told i needed to pay the remaining balance for the additional kids so that the party could go on. The day of the party only the original 7 was able to come. Life happens and I get that. The manager on duty that day *Reese i believe her name was...who was FANTASTIC with all her help* said that I would be able
My 5 year old son had his birthday party here today and we couldn't be happier. The staff was attentive and accommodating. The kids had a blast bowling and playing the arcade games. The food came out hot and it was good. We would highly recommend having a party here.
I had an amazing experience here with my family and it was all thanks to the manager on duty. I believe her name was Sheila. It was my younger brother?s birthday and we had many little kids running around the alley and arcade. She aided in answering our countless questions and aided with directions for our party multiple times, without hesitation. We had many questions about ingredients, drinks, and much more; they were all answered with a smile. We had a food allergy in our party and everyone we spoke to w
Lovely place to do bowling...Go with groupon...You'll save a lot of bucks.
Nice lanes, good staff, price is reasonable for bowling if you get the unlimited deal and plan to bowl and stay a while. The food and beverages are pricey for what you get though but there are plenty of restaurants nearby so plan accordingly unless you want to spend 10$ for 2 small sodas and overpriced basic food items. Overall a good place to go and bowl.
This is a great place to bowl and also have a party. The food is pretty good and the customer service is also very good. The staff is friendly and they hustle to make sure that you are all set with everything that you need. So far we've thrown both of our kids parties here with both being a success.
Went there at 11am because that's what time they said it opened on Apple Maps, apparently they don't open until 12 and the lady at the counter couldn't have been been more rude about it, talking down to us like we are stupid and can't read a clock. like she was offended that myself, my wife, and two little kids wanted to go bowling on a Saturday morning. As two other people came right in behind us and she welcomed them to bowl. I will never go back to this location, I've already heard horrible things about
Nice, clean bowling alley with very helpful staff. Had a good time with a few friends and they have really good specials when it comes to pricing for games
Huge facility and great sale with friendly staff. But the machines were really bad at keeping score, especially near the end of our last game.
Better bargain on rates when compared to that spot near the airport. They were able to accommodate my group with a lane even though we showed up impromptu, on a league night. Definitely reccomend for the casual bowlers out there
I had my daughter?s birthday party at the lanes this past Sunday, and the place and staff were great! She had a great time. The setup was perfect. And we will be having her party there again next year. Thanks to all of the workers for making sure she had such a great time!
Staff are always super friendly! Love all the upgrades to this location, especially the updated arcade! Always a blast!
The lanes are usually good but food and drink are very expensive. The staff is wonderful and friendly. It would be better if it wasn't controlled by a cooperation like bowlero
The staff are great! They are super friendly and very helpful. The french fries were cooked fresh, served hot, cooked with clean oil. The Bowling was fun. The Arcade was modern and fun. They had a nice automated reward machine where you could claim prizes to redeem your tickets earned from the arcade games. Overall we had a great time!
A blast for kids of all ages, including the big kids like me! We love the summer passes that we've gotten each year. It's a great deal for 3 games plus shoe rental. Otherwise, bowling can be quite expensive. The kids love a good competition and they get to expel energy, especially on rainy days when normally they would be stuck indoors.
Went to a birthday party here and it was so much fun! Kids had a blast and staff and food were great!
not really a play you go to hang out. they only want you bowling, not eating or playing other games. not child friendly and no diversity in the staff. food is bland prices are spicey. you could have done so much at another bowling lane with better food
Always accommodating and great place to practice for leagues and tournaments. Never had one issue in over 40 years going to this establishment. And you can get a nice cold one while you throw a few games.
Absolutely disgusting rude staff. Embarrassed my children had to observe such behavior from adults.
Place was clean, a lot of lanes. Somehow we played 1 game, 3 adults with 2 small children and it was $58 with shoe rental, which seems quite high. Price was my only complaint.
I will never return to this bowling lane after spending $165 for an hour and a half. Insane pricing that is absolutely unrealistic. Go figure Only one person was in the bowling lane. Prices are outrages and the average normal Income cannot afford to go here. Staff were great but the prices are just flat out insane. Never again will I return.
Spent an hour bowling two games. Don't know how to play but it was fun just rolling the ball and hanging out with friends!
Had a birthday party here and it was confusing because the other parties were right next to us so other kids were on our lanes. Food doesn't look great but tastes surprisingly well. It's a fun place to take the kids but don't expect too much razzle dazzle. The lanes are short staffed so there's a wait for everything.
Long wait for food. lanes were good
This place is out of control expensive for bowling. Went with family for a fun night out and ended the night with an almost $300 bill. Almost $10 per person per game and $6 per person to rent shoes. The food is pretty good but also very expensive for what it is and they wouldn't even give us an extra pitcher of pop. Save yourself some money and go to Strikers in OP.
Expensive menu especially the bar menu. Games are per person per game n range between almost 7 and almost 10 dollars a game! Wow that's Expensive and they took away most of the bowling specials.
Enjoyed the experience. A little pricey though.
Just be aware they take your credit card on file, then change the price on you. We were told $6 for a game and were charged $10. Very frustrating...
No complaints or issues at all. They offer your typical bowling alley experience. I recently went on a Saturday night, so the place was extremely busy. The person who waited on my party was extremely helpful and friendly. I live close to Stryker?s, but the wait time for that night was crazy, so we tried out AMF instead. We'll definitely add AMF to our shortlist of weekend nighttime destinations.
10 bucks per person per game. The price of bowling seems to have skyrocketed after the pandemic. Lanes were good, staff was polite and helpful, but the sticker shock was a bit much.
Fantastic night of bowling for my son's birthday. The staff was great.
The new renovation is fantastic! As always, we are greeted with friendly smiles and hello from the staff. They are always willing to help. Shootout to AMF LANES Lancaster at Transit and Losson for consistently accommodating Different Ability Individuals.
The lanes are really nice, but everything is so expensive. The food selection is small and pricey and you don't get a lot for your money. The coffee is super small and way too expensive and no free refills either.. Really it's coffee! There's no arcade or pool tables either. Not a great place to go. I don't recommend this place.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They loose a star because their food prices are overly expensive. My kids just finished a Summer league there, and I'm signing them up for a Fall league. So if using their services is any measure of how I feel about them, I'm happy.
The chicken wings were the nastiest wings I have ever tasted in my life. There were more bread than meat. The drinks are way too expensive. I ordered a double shot on the rocks that was more like a shot on the rocks. Other than that Pleasant atmosphere and nice bowling lanes. I also enjoyed a few games of darts.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating for our sons 14th birthday party. The food was very good, the whole birthday party went smoothly and everyone had a great time! The "arcade" is a bit small (only a few games), but the kids had a great time anyway.
The food was good quality and served in a timely manner. The allys were in good condition and had no breakdowns. The personnel treated my guests well. The only hitch was that we brought a few chips and popcorn items, which they wouldn't allow us to use. This was unexpected. Other than that, it went very well..
Really a nice place for us seniors to bowl, however, would love if they could accommodate us with some lockers again. It's very dangerous for some of us seniors to carry are bags in the winter time.
Bowling is always a fun way to spend a few hours. This AMF location is a reasonable stop for anyone who'd like to bowl. Lanes, tables, and seats are all perfectly clean, especially when compared to other bowling alleys. There are plenty when it comes to the selection of balls if you do not bring your own, and the rental shoes seem clean and sanitary. The only reason it gets 4 stars, is because of the prices. The food, and the bowing itself is WAY overpriced for what you get. I understand that they need to m
We had fun but dont order drinks. We paid $200 for one game for 4 people and 2 drinks each. It cant be that expensive to bowl that means we paid over $100 for just 8 drinks alone!!! never got a recipt so we really dont know what we paid for. wont be back any time soon.
Good prices and good house with great staff. The girl at the front desk with glasses and guy and girl in the snack shop were so kind and courteous. Made our family day!
Was a good time. I only watched my friends and our kids play as I'm injured right now. Our only complaint was the prices have really skyrocketed since we've last gone bowling (which has been years haha) but we were shocked it was that much a game especially for the little ones. But still fun and I'm sure we will be back
A little expensive but overall a good time. Gave it a three because of price. Food was great
If I could leave no star?s I would. Awful experience. Rude rude RUDE staff. Man at counter rudest. My shoes had food inside of them. I have never been so grossed out. Then when I wouldn't wear the shoes because not only was there food inside they were WAY too large, the man shut off our game without saying A WORD. Overcharged us. Wouldn't refund us. Will never come back. Please take your business somewhere else.
Place is usually clean and not too bad a shot on the lanes. WOW, what a difference. They removed the walls to open up the whole area. New flooring, colors everything looks cool.
Deceitful. Friday night, cashier said they needed a card on file and that we could figure out if we were paying game by game or unlimited bowling at the end. When we closed out, our bill was $75 more than what we expected it to be and they wouldn't change it. Cashier lied to us and I even went back into the bowling alley to point that out and all she said was ?sorry for the inconvenience?. On top of that, they stopped our last game 5 frames in, still charged full. Expensive beer, bad food, and lying staff
I went bowling with my friends. I was bowling then it shut off. I went up to counter to find out why. I did the 12.44 for unlimited bowling. When you hear unlimited bowling you think unlimited for after 8 or the time on the poster. Heck no it means 3 hours at this dump. I was furious so i told them it said on poster unlimited. The manger then said it always been 3 hours. I would not be giving this a review if i known it was 3 hours. I would have known what i was getting into so there is no need to be mad. I
It's not a bad place to bowl, the price is higher than other lanes and the food/beverages have a decent selection. However, avoid the pro shop. Especially if you're new to bowling. He's just there to sell anything and caught him sleeping a few times when I had a question about the ball he sold me. Never again.
We've visited a few times for moonlight bowling, and have always had a great experience overall. The last time we visited, was the first time we ordered food, and we were very disappointed. We ordered the large chicken wings which is (10), there were expensive, but more importantly, they were absolutely disgusting. They were not normal chicken wings; they had some type of thick breading on them (think KFC). This was not advertised on their menu, and they made no mention of it at the time of our order. We e
Went on a Friday around noon.. The guy who cashed us out for bowling was incredibly rude. He then turned off our kids lane in the middle of second game cause he was mad we had 4 on that lane. When questioned why the lane shut off his response "That lane was to have 3 not 4" We had 7 people bowling, I've never been somewhere that we had to split up the way they wanted. We will take our money elsewhere in the future. The bathroom we used also needed some work. The lanes were nice.
Nice time but not for the money. Lanes were fine and we had a nice time but bathrooms were very cold, dirty and smelled of urine (girls bathroom). Seems like alot of money for some fun time out of the house, especially if the facilities make you cringe.
Still terrible service, ask for drinks takes ten minutes and forgets items. Floor isn't carpet any more so all the wet shoes will make for it to be a great time. Bathroom still a disaster
"I recently visited this bowling alley and let's just say, I had more gutter balls than strikes. The lanes were so old, I swear I saw a dinosaur walk by. And don't even get me started on the rental shoes, I'm pretty sure they were from the same era as the lanes. On the bright side, I did get a good workout from all the awkward positions I had to contort into to avoid the giant cracks in the floor. If you're looking for a laugh and a workout, this is the place for you!"
Staff is friendly but way overpriced! Our whole league left because of pricing! Ten dollars a game for league bowling is crazy! Besides bowling to buy anything from the bar is outrageous! Come on guys your pricing yourself right out of business!
My kids and I had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful!
Very expensive.!!!!!! Only played one game. The food was as expensive as the games. The pizza is way better made at home. Save yourself a trip and look for a location that not so much money. They claim its only this expensive on Saturdays... My fault I should have called ahead... Adult pay the same as toddlers.. Just over all not worth the trip.. Bummer...
Went for a 7 yr old birthday party. Observing the interaction between the staff/management and the mother of the 7yr old, they were great. Very accommodating and helpful. For a bowling alley the food was pretty good, bbq wings, fries, moz stick and pizza. I didn't get a chance to partake but the bar had a great selection of games, a couple of pool tables, darts, video poker, and sand shuffleboard (haven't seen that since 6th grade at my local community center)
We are extremely impressed by our experiences here at AMF Lancaster Lanes. Being competitive bowlers we have traveled to many lanes and the manager Sheila is in a league of her own. She provided a great experience and terrific service, even though it was incredibly busy she was extremely accommodating.
I am amazed at how beautiful it is now!! They did a renovation, got rid of the carpets, very clean n bright n fresh looking!!
Got to take the family on a hot summer day, and we had a blast. Clean, friendly staff
We had our daughters 10th birthday party there. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They decorated 3 lanes for the party and it looked great. THANKS!
My Girl Scout service unit had a bowling event there today. They were phenomenal and I had a ton of compliments on how well run it was. I did nothing but give Sheila names and troop numbers and she had them all set up on lanes. All I had to do when they got there was tell them what lane their troop was assigned to. She brought the pizza slices to each lane so the girls didn't need to stand and wait. Our troops definitely want to go back!
Worst business I've ever seen. Don't come here at all costs! MARY at the front counter rudely stopped me and my boyfriend on the way to a birthday party to tell us we can't bring in our unopened water bottle. When we addressed to the manager he didn't care or show any concern. Charged us $15 for one person to bowl for 2 hours and yet we had less than an hour to actually play. $5 a piece for shoe rental so I just ended up refunding it and not bowling. My boyfriend paid $5 for the shoes and then the game time
Popcorn was stone cold. Food is overpriced - but the local place has no control as it's set by AMF corporate. They do however have free pop refills.
A little pricey everything was clean nicely decorated .good service
Great place to bowl, play pool, and relax on a weekend night. Open atmosphere and many lanes to chose from over 30! Plenty of food choices and drink specials. Lot's of discounts and coupons available for the week. Excellent atmosphere to spend time with family or with a league.
We go for the deals. Tuesday night, $2 games, etc. Frustrating sometimes because leagues have first dibs. May not have open lanes until late night, even if the deal starts at 8. Seems like they're doing some updating which will be nice.
Went for moonlight bowling which was supposed to be 10pm-12am. $25.75 including shoe rental. Didn't get to our lanes until about 10:15pm because of the long line. No drink specials during moonlight.. expensive hr and 45 min..
Great place to enjoy a night out. Friendly and helpful staff in a safe, clean environment. Just stay away from lane 18 as it breaks down quite a bit.
Loved bowling here in the 2021 NYS Queens tournament. The place was clean, the lanes were taken care of, the overall layout was very nice. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice place to bowl!
Completely remodeled since the last time I was there very nice very clean very professional
Everything here was of great quality and was so clean! What a great experience. The team here was SO accommodating to my unified bowling team and our unexpectedly early arrival. I have nothing but good things to say!!! ????
Great food great atmosphere
Accommodated us nicely for what we needed. Bartender made some great drinks. Thanks for the good time!
My son bowls in a league here. Bowling is great for all ages, it's hard to find something that the whole family can enjoy together. The staff, go out of their way to make sure you have a good time.
Nice bowling alley. Hardware is pretty up to date. We as a family are casual bowlers, but we have a lot of fun here. Food is a little pricey but pretty good.
Friendly staff. Lanes are always in tip top shape and great to bowl on! Jim Reese Pro shop on the other hand is a hot mess.. very unorganized and Jim Reese has about zero personality and isn't helpful at all!!
Rug by thr lane was sticky and ruined my friends bowling shoes. The prices for a bud light beer is 4.50 which I find rediculous for a bowling alley especially if you are in a leauge. I went to buy one of those warm pretzels and they were over $5 each and looked they there were sitting there for a while. Their food menu is just expensive small quantity fried foods. Close to home, but if you want good food, cheaper drinks and a clean place to bowl go to Transit lanes!
We love it here! Have been to many AMFs in the area and they are by far the best one! Staff is great. My fiance and I bowl here often.
Fun time! Very attentive and friendly staff. Very clean. We were quite satisfied and will return again.
Had a great time midnight bowling with some friends. Started at 8 which was nice, and the price was only 18 dollars including shoes for 3 hours of unlimited games and the beer wasn't too expensive either
Had a great time and the hostess was very inviting and very nice to my children help us pick out the right size shoes even gave us Lanes away from everyone so we could enjoy ourselves with the kids I like the atmosphere of the lights were down in a neon lights were on it was a great place to go
New lanes oil moves quick. Food and drinks are ridiculously over priced. Good place for moonlight bowling.... New discovery inconvenient, still disappointing. We tried to get a leauge @ Transit Lanes (close to home). Do all Amf facilities suck?
Had fun here. The guy at the desk was really nice, and helpful. Wish I knew his name so I could compliment him here! :) will hopefully be coming back!!
Great games like air hockey and darts. Food was nice too. And all around the place looked clean and had nice lanes.
Be careful!! They scam you out of money, and have way over priced bowling. I would recommend Strikers instead. ?? (it was a nice place but very over priced)
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
