Had an awesome time! Jason at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Our waitress was spot on and the food came out nice and hot shortly after we put our order in. They have anracade where you can play while you wait or when you're done bowling for some last minute fun as well as a bar and pool tables while you wait. We used a Groupon but be mindful, you can't use a Groupon after 6pm on Saturday and that does include wait time, so if you have an hour wait and you get there 5:15 then you won't be able to

Great place to bowl. We went during the weekday. It wasn't crowded and we had a ball.

Place was nice and clean. Was not real impressed with the drink prices, fountain drink and 1 mixed drink for $28 was crazy but the unlimited bowling was nice was $ 17 and change per person. Staff seemed new and could use more training.

nobody was on the lane on side a group of 6 and we could get the lane so we can have a faster game. To make it worse March 8, 2025 was the least amount of people I've seen in here at 9:35 pm. More than 10 lanes were open. All we wanted to do was split it so we can not just play 4-5 games.

Had a bit of free time so stopped by here to play arcade games, didn't Bowl this time. Front Desk manager was really nice, took time to explain everything. We had fun.. Wish there were more variety. Next time, we'll stay longer and bowl.

Forget the pins, feast on the wings! Sure, the bowling was fun, but let's be honest, the real star of the show at this alley is the food. This place surprised me with wings so good, they outshone the strikes (and I'm not just saying that because my bowling skills are questionable). The staff was fantastic, offering friendly service without being pushy, and the atmosphere transformed from casual fun to electrifying when the lights dimmed. While I'll definitely be back for some friendly competition on the la

They hosted our Youth Ministry Bowling night & everything was PERFECT! FOOD, LANES, & CUSTOMER SERVICE =5 STARS!

A changed review I was surprised for help and kindness from the management. And crew I'm glad he listened and we talked I appreciate that. We will come back

My daughter loves to bowl, so we've taken her here the past couple of years for her birthday. The staff are very friendly and the drinks are good. The food... not so much. Honestly, the food is terrible, but I suppose that's not the main reason people come here. Besides that, it's best to bring your own ball. All of the bowling alleys balls are pretty beat up. Regardless of those issues, it's still a good time for the family.

Ordered food while my 2 kids were on frame 2 of the first game. Then came frame 4 of the 2ND game so I walked up and asked what the issue was. Then I finally received my food. Asked for the check, finished the game waited in line to pay for my game and had to walk up to ask for the food check so I can pay it. Horrible service so no, you don't deserve a tip. These fools ended up taking $3 from my card without permission for a tip anyway. I won't trip about $3 but you guys have GOT to do better. Smh this pla

I and the family had a ball bowling. I definitely recommend this location. The only thing is you definitely will have to wait for your server because they are short o servers. And it will take time for your food to come. But overall you definitely will have a good time for sure. You and eat and have drinks. Bowling ??

Celebrated my sister?s birthday here with an event package ? while it was honestly a bit pricey for a big party (about 40 bucks a person) - we had a great time! We had about 20 people kids and adults and our server kept our food and drink replenished often, the manager Dru checked in our party frequently and they made sure we were having a great time! Thank you team for a really wonderful experience!

This was a great place to spend some family time. The waitress who took care of us did a great job she was pleasant, friendly, and helpful. We didn't have reservations but it wasn't busy so we were able to get 2 lanes for the whole family and had a blast. They even have good mixed drinks.

I went to go bowling last night with some friends, and when we went to pay for our bill, our server took our cards and charged me for two of the bills. And then came back to our table, telling me to talk to someone else and then we realize that it was two charges on my card so we went and fix everything and got it all fixed and after that I didn't wanna leave a tip right and I didn't so we left and I wake up today to charge on my card even after it was locked, adding the tip to the bill. and it's not even a

Had a nice time witH my Wife even tho I lost ?? but they had good customer service our waitress was curtious and friendly to us I would def recommend tHa vibe of tHis Alley ?? keep up the good work guys ????????

We had a birthday party at this place, Everything was organized and as we wished for, The staff was very friendly nice and helpful they kept coming back and checking if we need anything, The overall atmosphere was very fun, The food and dessert and gift cards were delivered on time for the kids, I highly recommend this place for events or for even just hanging out, I will definitely be coming back with my family here, thank you for making our experience great and for making my sons birthday a really nice on

The place was nice and clean. They welcomed us from the door until the moment we left thank you so much for such a pleasant experience.

Friendly good environment, but our pins got stuck a few times, but they were quick to fix the issue

Place is definitely an older bowling alley, way to much traction before the oil. Couldn't slide to bowl at all. This location definitely needs a revamp. Never saw our server.

Went on a Saturday evening. Martine was our server. She was great! She helped me find the right size ball for my 8 year old, the service was quick and attentive but she also was engaging and so friendly and wasn't far when we needed anything. With all the robots and terrible customer service in our world lately, it was refreshing to receive such good service from an actual human being. And the sweet chili wings were ??

It was okay at best? 48$ for two bowlers for their "after party" and that excludes shoe rental. price is definitely fine but not great for the standard and cleanliness of this bowling alley, the lanes and floor were sticky and not once were we greeted besides to pay. plenty of staff just not much of a care.

AMF Indian River never disappoints! From the customer service to the food and fun we enjoy our visit every time. Big shout out to the waitstaff, management and the cooks for always making our experience a 10/10!

Good wait times and multiple games bowled with 4 of us bowling. Plentiful bowling balls in sizes and weights and it's a good environment for family outings

Went with my family and had a great time! Environment was clean and comfortable. Food was worth the price. Very kid friendly. Will definitely go back!

Bowling was fun, food was okay. Employees were super nice but definitely stressed and understaffed (employees get a 5 star in my opinion). The place has roaches. One fell off a ball as we were grabbing it from the machine, and it was immediately stepped on. After seeing this, kinda wish I didn't eat the food here but oh well

Very clean place. Bowling lanes are nice, seating is good, a d the overall atmosphere was really family friendly.

I had an absolutely fantastic time at Indian River Bowling Alley! The atmosphere is fun and family-friendly, making it a great spot for both casual bowlers and serious players. The lanes are well-maintained, and the staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. A special shout-out to Sam, who went above and beyond to help me get into my first league?she made the process easy and enjoyable. Whether you're looking for a night out with friends or a fun family outing, Indian River Bowling Alley is the place to go.

Very fun. Adult Drinks are amazing. Had a great time.

Came here with some friends from church on a Monday night and had a great time. I loved the deal for the $17.50/person unlimited bowling. The whole night we bowled there were no issues with pins or the machine getting stuck. My wife got hungry and we ordered her food which tasted good and was reasonably priced (<$14). The server was also nice. Overall I had a good experience.

Man, 1st impression. It stinked so badly there when u 1st walk in the smell hits ya! We ended up at a table far right far away from the shoes. Ordered food... the kids had what was supposed to be pizza but was a flat bread with barely half of it covered in cheese and pepperoni. My daughter hated it, and the number of fries was what you'd give a 1-year-old. My wings only had sauce on 1 side of it lol smh and small fry portion as well. Nonetheless, I'd rather go to Battlefield Bowling Alley with a full crowd

I had fun. It was packed. I can finally say I enjoyed myself :)

Food was ok not bad, $$. Had a great time for my sister's birthday party there

Food was really good! Fun time and very friendly staff.

Cool place to bowl but the food is horrible, the chili looks like refried beans. The hotdogs looked like they had been sitting all day and were extremely salty. We also ordered nachos with chicken and it looked so bad my husband wouldn't eat it and all of this took about an hour to come. The waitress was great, that's a plus.

I read other reviews that this place was outdated but seems like they might have remodeled. The lanes and shoes look newer. Ample parking space, well lit at night. The server was attentive as well.

Great staff, always accommodating! Been bowling here with my league for the past five years!!

Paid $55 to bowl 3 games with my girlfriend. No food or anything. Just rented shoes. Absolutely disgusting.

Had the best time last night at my friends birthday party! We had Lashay (I am not sure if I am spelling that right.. sorry girl) as our server and she did an amazing job managing all of us...as we were all over the place..she asked our names and addressed us by them all night! Made great menu recommendations...far exceeded my expectations for an entertainment type environment! I don't usually write reviews but her service made me inspired to do so! Thanks for a great experience!!

Staff was great with it being packed as it was. Waiters and waitresses were always checking up on us and getting food and drinks out quickly.

Neomi was AMAZING. She made sure we were happy the entire time we were there! Watching my granddaughter bowl for the first time was THE BEST! THANKS AMC!

The experience was so trash. The server was disrespectful and tried to charge us $3 for a water because of a POLICY? When I went to the counter, the lady said it was because their water filter ?messed up,? and they didn't want to serve to their customers, yet I saw another table with water cups, and also a server with one, with a lemon at that. Then a server told us that the oven had oven cleaner and we would only be able to get fried foods, and THEN got food that was made in the same oven that ?had oven cl

I've visited this play multiple times. It's great for field trips, birthday parties, or any party really. The food is okay but there are a few restaurants nearby so it doesn't really matter. The price is worth it and you get a few hours of fun! Also there is a stop there if you play Pok?mon go ;)

Fun, not busy, decent food. 0 complaints.

Food was good. Had alot of fun.

This place amazing compared to all the other near by alleys! Great food good environment. I will be back

The overall staff was nice but it was one white lady with a bun was irritated because she let the kitchen get out of hand. We had about 40 in our party and they couldn't handle it. Our orders were out of order behind a hour. The bowling was awesome but the kitchen staff did not have a system to follow. If it was just bowling 5 stars but that lady was yelling at my family saying she couldn't work with them breathing down her back for there food but didn't want to refund us.

Food Was Good But Could've Been Better - They Need To Not Let Their Pizzas Cook Too Long, Not Every1 Likes The Crunch Crust... The Sierra Mist Soda Was A Little Flat, But That's An Easy Fix! Good Atmosphere & The Staff - Always Friendly - The Waitresses Are Very Attentive...

Had a wonderful time.. Mom and Sons day. It was clean, staff was attentive, used a Groupon discount it was no problem. When played which seemed like forever ;) we had a ball. ONE MAJOR ISSUE.. IS THE COST OF FOOD!! A regular soft drink is like $5. Chicken tenders almost $20:/

Took my 4 daughters here for family fun. Place is too dark, dirty, the floors were sticky and not kept up. The worst thing of all was the music videos they were playing on a projector above the lanes playing pornagraphic music videos. Those are not questions I thought I'd have to answer from my young children just by taking them bowling. I will never return here to this location.

Love the management, the atmosphere, and great people

Nice place to bowl and have parties.

My family and I had an AWESOME time here after a family lost. Came out to continue family bond and have fun in the lost of MY nefrew???????

Always a good time bowling. However, the food is extremely overpriced. $12 for fries is insane when some meals start at 8.99. I didn't know inflation got this bad. I may eat before I come next time.

We have been there a few times and booked the New Year Party Package the last 2 years (2022 & 2023). It was a great deal, and alot of fun. The staff was very friendly and fun both years!

It was pretty expensive but overall was really nice and they had some great pizza and waitresses.

Good spot, staff, and food. Everything is in working order.

Love the place, but the cost is just too high. $6 per person per game plus $6 for shoes. No longer really a cost-effective fun time. I remember when we were young you paid by the hour and that made it a more desirable time out.

Great time with GG?s babies! Jody was awesome? made sure they had a good experience? he was professional and helpful. The entire staff was amazing. We will visit again soon.

I go here with a friend twice a month, its a fun Lil place, the food is your typical "bar" food, nothing fancy but not terrible. The fried chicken tacos were pretty good. The main cog in the wheel I have with this place is every time we play there's always a problem with the pin changer or ball return mechanism and we end up having to switch lanes. Other than that it's a pretty good time! Especially if I manage to score higher than a 100 points.

I was at a birthday party this past weekend. The people, atmosphere, and hospitality were great. I would visit this place again soon.

Tuesday is a great day to go! $2 Tuesdays Nice place and clean

Very reasonably priced plenary of lanes

Food was horrible and cold. Waitress over worked and We had big party. Food came out in stages so we could barely feed everyone because we didn't get at once. The tall blond at main desk was abrasive and extremely rude.

They know how to throw a party! My wife and I had my son's 13th birthday at AMF Indian River. Melissa had all the answers to our questions, and made stellar suggestions to make this party fun for the kids and the adults. Melissa was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She made herself available to us, and never made us feel rushed. Mr. Eli was our waiter and go-to guy for the event. He always had a smile on his face and was ready to help us with any request! He was able to get all of our additional o

The manager who take care of us when we arrive for a birthday party treat us very rude and mean, they give us the food cold and they wasn't taking care appropriately, we talk to him, but he keep with his attitudes. Until another manager came in a resolve more of the issue everything went smooth, the place is nice, but when is a lot of people and short of staff, this guys came out of control.

Really good prices and good specials during the week. Some shoes need to be changed for newer ones but everything is overall good for the price.

It was a fun outing with friends and the shoe rental desk was fast and very helpful. However, the bad rating is due their concession/bar area. It was definitely under staffed and poorly kept. With not enough clean glasses and only one bar tender that has no notion of time management. If the place was kept a bit cleaner maybe it would've had a better rating.

The staff made it nice. Very helpful. Had bumpers and ramp for the children.

Nice place. Clean and staff was helpful. Had fun. Made the mistake of ordering the large fries.

Great fun place with friendly staff. Can get a bit pricey with a large family. Strongly suggest to go earlier in the day before 6pm to get the discounted bowling and military discounts. Currently as of (30Sept2022) the ATM inside is not working so if you want to play video games make sure you bring cash with you. Food pretty good but the Garlic fries are a little too buttery. Suggest getting the family meal deals, individual items can push your overall cost past your expectations. All in all my kiddos and I

Great place for my sons birthday party! Wings were on point, pizza was just ok. Kids had fun at arcade with their discounted game cards that we got with the party package. Staff was friendly.

Had my daughter Bday party! Great time! The employee was awesome! My waitress kept tell me to sit! I was working since I got there! LoL! She was awesome! Had leftover of cupcakes I made gave it to her coworkers. They enjoyed it.

Arrived around 6 pm on Saturday, the place was not crowded which was a plus. Decor is a little dated and the food was below par. We ordered a sampler platter...very salty and visually unappealing, we were unable to finish consuming what we ordered. Overall, the waiter was very nice and I would definitely go again. Maybe dine somewhere else or select something different from the menu.

Love that they welcome Special Olympics bowling! The staff there is wonderful and very professional! Great Job!

Nice lanes, not overly oiled. So the hook worked well. Kind, funny staff. Went on a night with a league going and was still able to free bowl. Not sure if due to size of league but there was about 10-15 lanes available still. My adult beverage was decent, seemed to be measured exact, so don't expect strong drinks. Had the steak quesadilla. Very well made. 6$ per game per person and 6$ for shoes. Not to bad. Overall a good experience.

They need to deep clean. There's a terrible mildew smell by the bar. The food was mediocre. The drinks, however, where over priced. I watched the bartender make little drinks, in a huge glass, then fill it up with ice to make the glass look full. Our ball kept getting stuck down the lane, so the GM gave us a refund. Overall...my friends and I had a good time.

Decent bowling & food. They do take Groupon and we got a good deal.

DON?T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! There are so many other bowling alleys in the area that are MUCH better!!! My husband and I went yesterday to bowl. We waited in a long line to get to the counter and when we got there the gentleman at the counter was trying to take my card to put on file and when I asked him why he was doing that he got extremely annoyed explaining it to me. I had to ask twice and it still did not make sense. For a date night for 2 people it does not make sense to bowl here.. it's $6 for shoes

Awesome facility, clean, and good service!

Could be a little more cleaner. A bit outdated. Service was understaffed but waiter was great considering she really was one of I think maybe 2 or 3 servers. Staff was friendly and very helpful and accommodating.

Absolutely terrible terrible customer service!!! The manager Endru has the worst customer service I've ever seen by far! He should not be a manager because he is extremely unprofessional, rude, will mock you and disrespect you. We ordered $100 worth of food with over 10 people, waited for food, ate our entire meal. 2 hours later after eating our food and asking 4 different times for our beverages and still don't get any drinks. Beware!!! You will be waiting a lifetime for your order while being disrespecte

My experience here on September 1, 2018 was EXCELLENT. The manager Dru and the rest of the staff took great care of my guests. I had about 15-20 family members with me and we all left satisfied.

Go for the bowling. Skip the food. Our $10 large fries (yes, $10) was less than a lot. I thought Five Guys charged a lot for fries, but they easily give you twice what you get here. Ordered wings ($15) got 7 wings, two were tiny. Asked and was told we were supposed to get 8. After half an hour we gave up and decided they just blew us off.

Always a fun time, clean atmosphere & decent food [however, a little pricier than it's worth]. Our toddler enjoyed it. They have ramps for little kids [as well as any others who need it] to use to help get the ball rolling. Considering a birthday party here in the near future.

We had a very kind woman as our server. We had a baby making a mess and our large group tried our best to clean up, but she always had our eye on us and gave us new straws and napkins and kept telling us we didnt have to. When we arrived at 6:30 on Tuesday, the guy told us we could pay half off the games if we waited till 7pm. Very helpful information. I like that they looked out for us while we were there. :-) We had a great time with as much fun as amateurs can have.

Lanes were well oiled, not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Pinspotters had their issues, but at $7 a game it was worth the occasional reset. Moving lanes was no issue when it became a chronic problem. Good ball selection and they aren't all full of craters. Reasonably priced pitchers, and the pizza is worth the wait.

AMF Bowling is a great spot for a fun time with friends or family. Whether you're a pro or a beginner, you'll have a fantastic time!

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Clean establishment. Great lane graphics. Lots of different snacks and adult mixed drinks to enjoy. This AARPer had a ball beating my 20 yr old son and his 20yr old gf 3x.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
