AMF Eastbrook Lanes

Visited on a Saturday afternoon for my daughter's birthday. It was about $100 for 6 kids, 2 pizzas, soda, and arcade cards. The front desk staff was VERY helpful in directing me where to go. The manager came by to introduce herself and tell me to find her if I needed anything. I ended up needing to find her to add bumpers and get a child bowling assist. She was very helpful. I just want to say that I was very impressed, and happy with AMF Eastbrook Lanes for hosting my daughters 13th birthday. Abbey, and her staff were absolutely amazing, and on point with everything. I definitely recommend Eastbrook Lanes for birthday parties or other events. Words cannot describe my gratitude towards their generosity. I am very well pleased in how they treated the children, and guests. Awesome Job guys!

The food was surprisingly good, the food servers were attentive, the selection of shoes and balls were adequate, and the additional non-bowling games helped keep children occupied, the bar service was pleasant while a bit expensive ($5.50 for a diet coke). Great remodel, looks like it was done in the last year or so. Family friendly and serious bowler friendly. Food was solid and the kids recommend the sundae station for parties. Our server was very attentive and friendly.

Great place for a birthday party! We had 12 of us there on three lanes and had a fun time. Danny the manager was very accommodating and our server Ajia was awesome. We bowled, ate pizza and wings, fries, onion rings, tater tots...highly recommended!

I called Friday for a reservation for 6 and Abbie took great care of us. Kindra, made sure we had a clean table, served us good drinks, and our food was hot when it arrived to the table. Thank you Eastbrook staff we had a great time!

Come in with a birthday party. When we ordered drinks from the bar they did not have or were not able to make some of the shots that we requested. The bartender said he had 19 years worth of experience and started mixing up some different samples for us to try but little did we know that we were going to be charged outrageous prices for some of these shots that they made up that were not very good. If you really truly have 19 years worth of experience the shots should have tasted a whole lot better.

One of the best establishments in greater Grand Rapids. Chris, in the bar was phenomenal, Abby at the front desk was absolutely accommodating to our wants and needs. The place was clean. The prices are unbelievably affordable, and the atmosphere was arguably the best that we've been to in the last couple of years. Thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely be back.

Found the employees to be VERY helpful, accommodating and respectful. The venue is always clean and just has an upbeat vibe. THATS why I keep coming back.

We were looking for some improv fun on Christmas and they delivered the arcade. It was awesome. The bowling was fun. The front desk was awesome. I wanted to give a personal shout out to Rachel and also Patrick they were stars.

Underwhelming location. Don't be fooled by pictures online. Came in at 8pm on a Saturday night, bar was empty, sat with a group of 4. They NEVER attended us. And no one asked, or offered if we needed at least water. Guess they didn't want our money? 10 for a clean area. 0 for hospitality. 0 for a good vibe.

Nice bowling in a convenient location but prices are too high! This is a large bowling alley with all the stuff you'd expect. The problem is that it costs about twice as much to go there than the other local options. I've been there twice & had sticker shock both times.

Good prices and tons of lanes. But the lanes seemed to be way slippery than a normal alley, and the distance to the foul line seemed a little off. Overall, a good spot to bowl.

We had a great time! We took our nephew out for burgers and bowling as a birthday treat. Eastbrook was pretty busy for a Tues night; there weren't many empty lanes on the side we were on yet one server did a good job keeping our glasses full. The manager is outstanding. He was very helpful, outgoing when interacting with my family, and made our experience top notch. He even gave my daughter a bowling pin to take home. Such a fun night!

Accommodating. There is a step between sitting area and lanes. Fine for us, but not the gentleman who had a stroke. We were given the end lane that has a ramp for him to walk down. It was perfect. And we had lots of fun! Food and drinks were good too.

Love that the place is really big and always have lanes when we get there. We used Groupon and had unlimited bowling last time for 2 hours, which was a really good deal.

Prices seemed a little high but the kids still had a great time. Fries and drinks were good, clean facilities and the staff were friendly.

Went here for a community event and AMF exceeded expectations. If you talk to the manager they are very willing to accommodate any dietary restrictions. They made me a vegan pizza just for me! The staff was very helpful providing us with drinks and even to go boxes. I would recommend to anyone looking for a friendly welcoming place to host events. You will be taken care of!

Awesome bowling lane the poor staff member (I think his name was matt don't quote me great guy) was super busy and all alone doing the job of 5 people so just take it easy when you come here they're hurting for staff during this pandemic. Be patient and kind. Super clean place awesome quick food decent sized bar. Clean shoes

This bowling alley is a total win! Super friendly staff from the counter to table service, and a fun, creative drink menu make it the perfect spot for a great night out. Highly recommend!

Had to wait like 10-15 mins to get checked in (there wasn't a line, there just wasn't anyone at the front desk). There will be no price menu at the front or anywhere (only will show prices for special/deal days at the front). They also charge you per-person per-game which means 2 games with 4 people will cost you $76, shoes included. If they would've put the prices at the front desk, saying it's $$ per-person per-game, I would've gone to a different location. But the place is clean tho.

We had a great time celebrating our sons 6th birthday. The staff was super nice and attentive. We pre purchase one of the birthday packages and was completely happy with what we got. The topper was the special attention the staff gave to my birthday boy !

This bowling alley is great for a group. We came with a group of 8 and had a great time. Kendra was our server and I genuinely couldn't have asked for a person to take care of our group. She was so attentive and friendly. I will be returning!

We LOVE the committed staff here! They have great teamwork going on here. We go bowling 3 - 4 times a week. I applied for a job and they gave me the wrong person for the interview since they have different employees interview for different positions and they thought I had applied for a different position than I did- they then proceeded to not invite me for an actual interview. My family and I came to this alley for some family fun and it was great! My son has albinism and when it's nice out we can't take him To do many things but I always try to make sure he has a good time since he is not able to be outdoors and do much with out protection from the sun. Jay and violet gave us a remarkable experience from great customer service down to just being straight down to earth , we felt like we were around family and that is huge for my family! 2 stars Because our waiter was amazing. However, I want to give no stars because they told us 6.99 a game when we arrived before 6pm(we played 3ppl-3games) We left and upon check out it was over 100 dollars. Apparently they had to upcharge us because of (no explanation) but gave us a manager discount for any inconvenience($10). No prices on anything else either.

We went in on a Thursday night. They were extremely busy due to leagues. That didn't stop the staff from giving excellent service. The food was great and the portions were better than we expected. The manager, Abby, didn't make us leave at closing. We were able to finish our game. We had so much fun! We will for sure be back!

Our family just went bowling here and had a blast! Our 5 year old daughter dropped a ball on her toe and one of the employees, JAY, saw from a far, came over to check on her and brought her a stuffed animal. He was very caring and helped to make our experience great. All staff were wonderful! We will be back.

Servers are good but cost $35 per person for 3 games and shoes. Seems like highway robbery to me when leagues are $20 elsewheres?????????????? Pizza was the worst I've had in a long time.

We had a great time while there. The food was good and our waitress was attentive. It seems as if there is hostility from the manager to employees. Hearing her swear and being hostile toward them made it uncomfortable.

Called to see if we can get a military discount for our reservation before I paid... the customer service man said yes, but he doesn't know how. I asked if we should just go in person. My friends and I have been coming here every Tuesday for over a year.. and there's a reason why we keep coming back! Abby, Callie, Jessica, and Austin are the most wonderful people and we've felt like a part of their family here. They are all so kind and accommodating. We had a great time at AMF. The food was really good for bar food. I loved the tenders. The tower of beer was a fun choice. They had good cocktails, too. The service was great. We don't bowl much, but the prices seemed pretty fair. We had 15 games total, 4 shoe rentals, tower of beer, pitcher of beer, 2 separate non-alcoholic specialty drinks, 3 meals, and out total was $268.

Had a great time with family for my son's birthday party. Everything went off without a hitch and everyone wanted to keep bowling so we added more time to our reservation. Once our time ran out we used our gift cards over on the arcade and played games and activities for another hour. Will be happy to do this again.

we had my son's 7th birthday party here last weekend. The experience was wonderful. The kids all had a great time, and the staff was amazing. Very friendly, very attentive, and one of them even happened brought over a stuffed animal from one of the arcade games for my 3 year old to take home. Would definitely book another party here and for surely will be coming back just to bowl!

This is the best bowling place in Grand Rapids! They always find a way to fit you in. When we got a lane that both tables were filled by other groups, they accommodated us very quickly by finding us another lane. We will always continue to go here.

Jessica is an amazing manager. She works hard. she decorates for parties. She is very helpful to customers when they need something. She works the kitchen, front desk and get drinks for people. She knows how do everything and more. She makes sure the place nice and clean. She is always doing something to help bowling alley to thrive.

Games are a bit pricey but fun nonetheless. Good food and service, will be coming back.

Love the Eastbrook Lanes Team! Booked a couple of parties here and had a blast. The cooks, the host, and the manager are professional, caring, and just AMAZING! The corporate party coordinators are good. However, I do not recommend booking any corporate event unless you have all participants pay in advance. Refunding is near impossible. If you are lucky, you can recoup half. It's an easy way to lose your money.

We hosted our child?s birthday party here last weekend. The process from booking to bowling was as smooth as can be and everyone I had interacted with were professional, friendly, and so helpful. I've been bowling at AMF for a while now and I can't complain about anything. The service is great especially form Abbie and Cali it's nice to be greeted by your name. They make my time here very enjoyable with their attitude.

We just had my daughters 6th birthday party there and the kids had a blast. The bowling is great, they provided decorations and food, and gave the kids arcade credits. It's great to be able to show up and not have to worry about clean up. My only complaint is we only had 2 lanes for 11 kids so the kids were a bit impatient as everyone wanted to bowl at the same time. I would definitely recommend this for kids parties.

Terrible experience! We walked in and the person working the counter her small child with her. We had a 4 year old with us and there were no ball ramps for her to use so she had to try her hardest to push the ball as far down as she could on her own? this really wasn't working but we had no choice. Also, our fault for not looking at prices first, but 8 games total cost us $65! We will definitely not be returning!

I will never go to this bowling alley again! Must be under new management and it's horrible! 1. You can no longer pay when you check in. I was told you pay at the end, which is ridiculous because it creates longer wait times when checking out. I stood in line for 20 minutes, and the staff member took people at the end of the line instead of helping the next customer in line, making a lot of people angry. Also I was charged the wrong amount on my credit card. I know they can do better and they should.

We had a great time bowling! The lanes were well oiled. Everything was in working order. The staff was attentive and friendly. The shoes and balls were very good. Drinks and food were worth the price paid.

Lots of lanes to bowl at. Good selection of bowling balls (both in weight and finger size). The scoring system is a little less sophisticated than at some other places I've been too, but wasn't old or outdated. The rest of the facility seemed ok, if not a little old/outdated. Overall, a good place bowl at that has some good weeknight deals.

Yesterday I went to AMF Eastbrook Bowling Lanes and had a terrific time. My boyfriend and I were dancing, had a few drinks and looked like total dorks trying to bowl a good game, but it was all fun. I felt extremely safe and had no worries since we are now living in times of a pandemic. Masks are required when leaving your seat or wandering around the building, which is standard. Its really nice and clean for a bowling alley! The cheese breadsticks were really good but everything else was terrible!! The pizza was really tasteless with way too much cheese on a paper thin crust. I dont know how you mess up boneless wings but these guys figured it out! They probably would have been fine but the bbq sauce had a bad flavor. The ranch was awful too. Had a work event here so it was catered. Had a blast. Pizza and wings are really good. The chicken was super crispy and would say it was the crowd favorite.
