Where do I start? It was 4 of us with our own shoes and the cost was $77 for 2 games. RIDICULOUS. The lanes were shiny and bumpy. The computer didn't allow you to put your names in and were hanging by a thread. The lights didn't work on the right side of the building. Service was horrible. The restroom was nasty. We are visiting but we will not be back and would love a refund but I know that ain?t happening. So visit at your own risk.
They need to crank up the a/c. It was very warm inside. I don't know if they oil the lanes because most of my rolls went straight for the gutter. Lol. Staff was pretty good although they gave our pizza to someone else. They played rock music like Guns and Roses the whole time and that didn't match the culture..
My husband and I came with some friends on a Saturday afternoon. Everything was nice and clean. The lady at the register was super nice, we asked if we could move to a different lane because our friends had a baby stroller and we didn't want to block anyone's lane/space. She quickly said yes. After bowling we made our way to the arcade, they have a good amount of games for big kids (our husband's)!. Overall, we all had fun and we will definitely come back to this location ??
Service suck. Tried to get food and a drink nobody was at the bar for at least 20 mins. Finally ordered wings and fries? 10 mins later she come tell me they out of wings, will give refund. Ok cool. Hour later still no refund or fries. SMH. Say put fries on table. ON TABLE. WHERE??? if I ordered them why not give them TO ME. Never again
Meant to post this Thursday! But it was a manager all by herself beside the cook named Tina. She was honestly so sweet and always had a smile on her face even if she was by herself. She handled everything perfectly and me and my family had a wonderful time! I love people like her because I usually get attitude going here.
Service sucked. We ordered food and they didn't have plates. They were ?out?. The system was down to order items at the bar. We tried to get help to put up the rails for the kids and no one ever came. The restrooms REEK OF URINE!!! The workers seemed annoyed every time we asked for anything that should have been already done. Like having our lane cleared from the previous party. No one ever came to clean it we had to place everything in the trash ourselves. Horrible!
Although my family and I had fun. The wait time was semi-long. There were not enough workers to cater to the number of people that came to bowl; especially on a Friday & Saturday night. They were out of food items on a Friday night around 8 pm.
It's super dirty and the floor is very sticky, you couldn't play. There are only two employees there. I don't recommend it. And there's no air conditioning. It's a really bad place.
Management is terrible. Manager was almost in a fight with customer. Bathrooms are nasty. Prices are reasonable but quality of food is so-so. Bowling lanes are decent.
This place was alright. It appeared clean and the staff was nice but they gave me shoes that felt like 2 different sizes. There was only 1 person in the kitchen the entire night. We waited an hour for pizza and over an hour for wings. They did extend our bowling time complimentary though.
Had a great time! Service for food and drink was slow but other than that no complaints
I visited this place on Sun 02/16 with my family and my 2 grandchildren 10 and 7 yrs old...everything was good up until it was about closing andy grands has to use the restroom and the door was propped open so I asked one of the employees if maybe someone was cleaning the ladies bathroom and he responded it's out of order...I looked at him with a blank stare in disbelief ...how in the world do you have an establishment where patrons are spending lots of money and you can't utilize the restrooms that is UNAC
Pretty good food and a great atmosphere for the family to enjoy some bowling, will be coming back again ??
Best family day in a long time, an impromptu visit did the trick. We actually had more family participation and lot's of fun. We actually went on a tournament qualifying night, an engagement party was in full swing and we were still able to secure 2 lanes, shoes, and good seating. Professional and helpful staff. Of course my grandson was the grouch, he's a lefty (like ME), his first time bowling and he expected to be a Pro bowler like Parker Bohn 111 or Gary Faulkner Jr....lol he tickles ME, the older HE ge
Outdated and rough lanes. Inexpensive in comparison so it works for quick get togethers
Don't bring your league here! Short staffed. They won't clear the deadwood. The restrooms are horrendous. They don't care about putting open play bowlers next to league bowlers. TRASH!
My husband and I enjoyed playing pool at this facility. The employees were nice and the food was fresh. It took them a while to get the food out but we enjoyed playing while we waited.
The service wasn't good AT ALL.! No sense of urgency or anything. Don't think I will be going back with my family any more
Severely under staffed. Couldn't even place an order kept getting told to come back in 15 min after the 2nd time I gave up.
it's incredibly dark inside, cool if you're looking for midnight bowl at all hours. there was not a great selection of bells. bring your own if you have them. the shoe rental and payment guy was friendly and helpful. not so much for the kitchen staff who did not appear to want to be there. the food was not good and they were "out "of several items, and had been "for weeks. ". so why not say that when I order instead of substituting for something else without asking? eat before or after you come. the
Really enjoy bowling at these lanes. The lanes always fresh house oil patterns, making for an enjoyable experience to break a 200!! Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Always, well kept and clean. Everything works as it should. The pro shop onsite is great. Fixed me up and back to bowling in 30min no problem. Food is good for the munchies, bar is well stocked, pool tables are clean. Bathrooms are not bad either. Just overall great lanes to bowl.
Great way to spend Fathers Day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great time.
It's a great place with great people running it!!
Went to the bar never got served
Excellent atmosphere and customer service with very clean approaches and seating areas.
Trash, they only had the light on for the league wouldn't turn the light on for the other side, straight trash
Our lanes kept jacking up! The balls kept getting stuck, the points were way off, and one of our kiddos didn't get to bowl their last set as the system cut off before it's was time! We called the front desk like 7 times to fix the lanes. It was horrible! We reported it, and the staff made it feel like we were a bother! We had a group with us! Ordered lots of food and drinks! And I can't give positive ratings on the food... chicken wings were like little pebbles, not nuggets, and were cooked hard and super d
We had one of the worst customer service experiences here. Christina, or Tina (whatever her name is), should not be allowed to work with customers. Long story short, ONLINE it is posted that all-you-can-bowl starts at 7PM. We showed up to bowl at 7PM for this deal, and Christina spoke to my mom and family as if we were stupid for doing so. She would not accommodate us and proceeded to tell us that we were wrong. When we told her we would leave elsewhere, she said ?Please do! Please do!? in a condescending t
We went here to celebrate my mother's 70 birthday. When she heard it was National Bowling day and could bowl 2 games for FREE! Much to my surprise there was plenty of room on the lanes. We arrived about and hour or so after they opened.( they open at noon.) They staff there was very helpful and accommodating. Me a my family had a fantastic time there! Our ages ranged from almost three years old to 70. The younger kids really took to the bowling especially with the dinosaur slide to help them get there ball
Dylan is the worst manager ever no customer service and acted as if he couldn't honor a mistake made told me the company was on a budget will not be returning
Seems like a place for old regulars to come practice. Lanes are not well waxed and pins were stuck and balls were stuck. They need more wax... itll help it all. Very nice workers. Theyre a little chatty but have some patience its one of those chill places. Overall great deals especially after the good old feds printed out 16 trillion to make our dollar worth 40% less.... anyhow. Nice place. I will visit again!! If you dont hear an update... the feds got to me....
On March 14th, 2024 at 8:15 PM, my family and I visited an establishment that offered endless bowling. We paid what was charged and started playing. However, at the end of the set, we were informed that we had not paid for the endless bowling and that we would have to pay over $100 again if we wanted to continue. We spoke to a supervisor who was condescending and refused to help us. Since it was a large group event, we had to pay again. This was unprofessional, and we felt disrespected as customers. Moreov
My brother and I went bowling last night. We had such a great time! The staff was awesome! I'm giving four stars because the bathroom was nasty.
Sunday is a fun day for bowling Cool atmosphere and decent food.
Horrible customer service bad attitudes. Don't know how to talk to people . It took everything in me not to act a fool and have the police called on me.I didn't want to cause dramas on friend of mine?s birthday party so I chill out they had to calm me down. Especially the food service folks talking to be people crazy. I can say word of mouth is a thing!
First off, the security check up front threw me off. Being wanded, bag check and emptying out my pockets left me wondering what happened here to warrant the extra security. Secondly, the lady up front seemed bothered and annoyed when asked what special they had going. "We have all kinds, do you want me to list them all?" We asked for the best deal and she rang us up. We were a total of 3 groups, and within minutes, we were charged 3 different prices for each game. From $5.99 up to $8.99 a game. She nor her
Crappy experience, decided to take my children just to have a good time. I paid for two games and 3 pairs of shoes and when it was time to pay i was charged for 6 games. Extremely disappointed because there's nothing saying that each person gets charged per game . And yet they still didn't want to compensate for the outrageous price gouge. Not to mention extremely understaffed and they have outdated lanes. I went to put bumpers up for my children and they have manual ones instead of automatic so every time
We had our Annual family reunion there yesterday and I really had a blast, the Employees were very polite, nice, whatever we need they were on point so yes I will be going back.
I have been trying to go here for 5 years.. finally I got to see the hours open.... 2 PM til LATE... Looks like a nice place
Awesome!! Look forward to it every week.
Service was subpar. Food took forever and was burnt.
Awesome... Manager was the BEST!!!...She was attentive and accommodating to my family. My son truly enjoyed his party.
I had so much fun bowling. I can't wait to go back. I had a margarita from the bar and it was great.
Never again will we go to this bowling alley. Our experience was HORRIBLE. When we first got there we ordered a pizza and a sampler. We were there literally 2 hours and never got our food. We spoke to the manager she seemed to understand our situation, out of nowhere the supervisor comes up very upset acting like we were a problem because they employees don't know what they doing. The supervisor had no reason to open her mouth PERIOD because we were already talking to the manager the person that's over her.
Beer is expensive! Came here to practice playing pool. Tables cost $13 an hour and are literally falling apart.
Overpriced! You can go to a nicer establishment for what you are paying here. They automatically charge a service fee instead of letting you tip their staff. They are garbage and if I could give negative stars I would! Not worth your money. As for majority of the staff, they are ok but for the one that mumbled under her breath "If you cant afford it, you should stay home" is not great representation for the business but lets you know to take your hard earned dollars elsewhere. I will never return!
My baby been begging me to take him bowling and I'm gone make it happen I always go to main event or pinstacks so I took a chance on this one every one was nice and attentive.
Nice atmosphere, clean, pleasant employees, and they have security. Our food wasn't bad either. I didn't hit the bar but heard the drinks are off the chain.
Front desk girl is rude ever time we come in.. we come every Wednesday for the last 2 years.. we started with my cousins because my Grandad and Aunt died within 1 week of each other do to COVID. It's been something we have enjoyed. Sometimes it's just a few of us and sometimes more, but we are here every week. We are close to a lot of regulars and league bowlers and they all say the same thing, when we been help she acts as if we are bothering her.. she constantly put people on lanes that have issues..
Friendly family oriented nice and clean atmosphere. We enjoy bowling here.
Will never go back . Had a party of 5 people and wanted to split the lanes but was told no. Would have to pay for 2 extra people to do so. The whole place was dark and was hard to really enjoy the game. The patrons were very loud and obnoxious and the staff could care less. Smelt like marijuana and guest were walking down the middle of the lanes and throwing the balls while the staff watched and did nothing. The staff wasn't very friendly and not professional at all. The place was very clean and the lanes
It got really warm inside the building. A lot of the balls were cracked, and the finger sizing on the balls aren't what they normally are at bowling alleys. I might have gone on a day that they were short staffed or something, but it took about 20 minutes and asking twice for our 4 WATERS to come out. I most definitely won't come back to this place.
Not my first time here & was my second option to visit. Upon entering location we had to whistle at the lady in the back for assistance . The lane we were assigned was good until it wasn't. We were moved twice because the ball return wasn't working. The lady was trying but the mechanics weren't there.
If there was is a god above I will never have to come to this alley again. They do not have snack machines due to they tell you to go to the cafe. The problem is I put in an order checked it 3 times and was told they will b done soon. Finally fourth time they said they forgot to put in order. What kind of management do they have. I told person running desk and was treated like I was bothering her
Customer service kind of sucks. We went on a Saturday night, and they had security at the door, wanding people and checking bags. And the lanes keep getting stuck
This is an older bowling alley. I remember going here as a child and not many updates have been made to the place but they have daily deals on bowling and the concession food is good. Ordered wings and tenders and asked fornthem extra well and they were amazing. Bowling special was p we reasonably price and service was cool overall.
Had a wonderful time with my baby sister. The service was great.
Had a great time last night for my Wifee's birthday! Always have fun here! Chillin with my bros!
We had a blast 2 lanes one of me and my sister and the other for the kids....
Cashiers and the bartender were pretty nice here. Bowling was fun, atmosphere fun, but what was not fun was 24.00 for a beer and a cocktail... Paying EACH time you got drinks instead of opening a tab. I guess certain circumstances caused this rule to be implemented but this has got to be one of the first places I've ever been to that ran it this way. All in all I had a great time. That and the bathroom not having any paper towels or soap kept that last star off.
Lines wayyyy too long. It took an hour and 40 minutes to get 2 hot dogs, 1 chicken sandwich and and 4 drinks AFTER we placed our order. But, the staff was NICE!!!
Even though this place is understaffed, the employees here were really professional and courteous. I used to be in a league here, and it seemed the employees were consistently replaced. But, I haven't been here in a while, and the place has changed completely with the decor, atmosphere, and service. I will definitely be back!
I had a margarita on the rocks. Bartender hooked me up. My son liked hitting the pins. Some of the arcade games did not work. We still enjoyed ourselves. Looking to go back for another drink. Food was good too.
I visited your AMF DeSoto location on 3/04/2023. My credit card number was manually entered in for extra charges after my original charges were paid. The individual then used my card number to rack up several Uber Eats charges from 3/04/2023 to 4/02/2023. I contacted my credit card company to have the card frozen and reissued with a new number. When I realized my credit had been compromised and back tracked to that location, I called a few times with no answer. Finally Saturday 4/09/2023 I called and Tiffa
Lanes are always broken .I've been 5 times, and every time, without fail, lanes are breaking down . Staff is always behind, needs more workers, and is better organized, especially during league play. This is the only establishment that charges you for shoes during league play. Preinspect the lanes Update: The last few weeks have been awesome. Good job. Great job on stepping it up and fixing the deficiencies.
If I could give them zero stars I would. The lady that was working on 11/12 at night, named Jessica was very rude to me and my family. The most disrespectful comment that was made from that lady was when I requested my shoe size. I stated to the lady I need a 8 1/2. When I realized it was a woman shoe 8 1/2, I asked her ?can I get a 8 1/2 in men?s.? I personally prefer to wear men shoes. She stated and I quote ?the rules here are I give you shoes with the gender you are born as so with that you need a 10 in
We had our company team building event at AMF Desoto. I admit we were a little hesitant at first because of the location. However; we were pleasantly surprise. Everyone had a great evening. The food was awesome, the drinks were good and the STAFF was the absolute best. We were made to feel special and everyone was so nice. We will definitely be back. Thank you, AMF Desoto
The experience was nice. The sauce for chops eaten tasteless. It wasn't salsa. It was marinara sauce. The pretzels taste like flour. I couldn't chew this.
Was there to celebrate my daughter's 27th birthday. Advised the lady that I needed 2 lanes, which she did not honor. The other lady working with her asked her why she didn't give me 2 lanes, she told her that since I had 3 people coming to pay for shoe's is too much of a mess for her to deal with. All she had to do was allow me to pay for all the games for my 2 lanes, then bill my 3 additional participants for their shoes, but it was too much for her to deal with. She was so rude and totaled up what she wan
Great time...much better than the last time I visited years ago as the business had seemed to phasing out. Great upgrades and excellent customer service from desk and food service
This place SUCKS!!! The service was NOT good from the beginning to the end. There were approx 20 of us. We all paid as we should to be told that we didn't pay & the ensnared to see receipts before we could get shoes DIRECTLY AFTER the young dummy checked us out & forgot who she rang up. Food was stupid. WE'LL DRIVE ACROSS TOWN NEXT TIME TO AVOID THIS DIRTY AS LOCATION.
First time visiting this location. Took our little man to celebrate his bday and we had a great time. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, great food. It was overall a really great time. Can't wait to go back soon because that Alley Sampler was ??
Lanes are horrible and the a/c doesn't get cold plus the fans look like they're about to fall out the ceiling so they kept them on low. Hand is swollen from the humidity. Terrible from a company that charges and makes a lot of money
Prices were good, staff was nice. I wish they had outdoor security. I noticed some gas tank flaps were open, mine included. Sure enough the next day my car was acting up.
We went to this establishment for a family outing and it was one of the most horrendous experiences ever. The staff was extremely rude, several lanes were shut down due to maintenance and the service for food took forever. The token machine didn't work and the worker didn't seem to be bothered. The place is filthy and reeks of a wet odor. I would recommend going elsewhere to save your money and time. A lot of people go here because they think it's going to save you money but most places are competitive with
Very lively and often crowded space. If you want a quiet evening of bowling this may not be the place. I would suggest going during the early hours of operation. Its a very nice place to gather with family and friends for a little fun. Also not a bad place to meet the perfect stranger. It does have a strong social presence and vibe after 5pm.
Great Family Fun!!! Affordable and clean
We will be back! Good music, nice upkeep and very nice employees!? Thank you for a good Mother's Day Experience!??
The staff excellent. Great environment. I'll be coming back
I will rate this place with zero stars. They made me pay in advance for a food that I never received. We finished the game, sang happy birthday to a friend, ate the cake, etc. and any time that I asked about the food they said it was going to take 20 additional minutes. When I was leaving I requested the refund. The manager Craig Jordan was really unpleasant and arrogant. On top of that I will have to wait for a week to have my money back when it took a second for them to take it out of my account. We were
Way overpriced! I have a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) and it would?ve cost me over $54 (not including drinks and food) for ONE game/round of bowling. There are so many other establishments that will give you a lane for an hour(multiple rounds of bowling) including shoes for that price. Will not even consider going back.
Extremely pleased. I hadn't been to an AMF in a very long time. I'm a foodie and of course I had to try a sampler platter. The staff was personable and friendly. I'd definitely return.
The food is not good. I don't know what happened from last year to this year, but it was very unappetizing and we couldn't finish any of it. It's not the preparation by the staff, it's the food itself.
I was very uncomfortable with the pat searches and the purse search..will not be going back
Pricey... With a limited bar. They got rid of all but 2 pool tables and put in an arcade as well. The girl at the bowling desk is super nice ! Her attitude needs to spill over to the kitchen staff tho. They always seem irritated when u come up to make an order.
Gotta find somewhere else. This place is horrible. Food(that we did finally get) and drinks was awful. The entire staff need customer service training. The bartender should be a security guard or something cause she sucked at service and making drinks. The lanes kept messing up. The only good thing was we got a refund.
The best place I've ever been. The staff is very nice and inviting, it's like you're family there. I love their products, it's almost addicting to go there. I'm about to go right now.
This is coming from somebody who bowls quite regularly and has their own equipment. If you are not a regular bowler with your own ball, you can have lots of fun. The person at the front was very kind. Service was not an issue whatsoever. Outside of leagues (I can't speak to that), for open bowling, the lanes were not maintained very well in my visit. There seemed to be scratches of some sort on the lanes that would cause weird reactions with my ball. Decent spot for the casual open bowler. Leagues might
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
