Our first lane had issues with the pins every time they reset, so the staff moved us to another one where we only had one pin with an issue. The shoe rental is expensive and where they make their profit. The bowling ball racks were not very organized, but there were so many available. For the lighter weight bowling balls, it would be nice if they had larger spots to hold them since they don't accommodate everyone's hands. We had our company Christmas party here and AMF Desert Hills Lanes were fantastic hosts! We had pizza, chicken tenders, fries, nachos, and Bavarian pretzels. I only had the chicken tenders and fries and they were great! Our hostess was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The lanes were not too busy for a Friday. The other guests were quiet and respectable, and the location felt safe. If you're into bowling, pool, or video games, this is a great place to pick up some good food and hang out.

We called them 4-5 times to see if there was a wait before driving all the way here, however, no one answered the phone. We figured we'd drive just to check it out. Upon arrival the place smelt horrible, when we asked the front desk lady (Robin or Robyn not sure how it's spelt) if there was any lanes available and she immediately met us with extreme attitude and was being very rude. I do not recommend coming here. Busy or not you have no right to be rude to someone who did nothing to you!

As a league bowler, weekends we practice. The guy at the desk on Sunday 04/06, has to go. Attitude and rude all the way. It was the 1st time seeing this guy working,but should definitely be his last. I enjoy league and the other staff,but that guy needs to go.

We visit this location a lot but had the worst experience tonight. The man with the long white hair was extremely off putting and rude up at the front? He made a weird comment about someone in our party being hard of hearing. Really disgusting behavior. We drive a decent way to come to this location but we will look for other places from now on.

Spend a lot of money there every week. My girlfriend went to ask for a water and 2 guys are just sitting there talking to each other. They eventually acknowledge her and she ask for some water and a dude with a beer belly and white hair tells her to use the water fountain. I understand being fat and working at a bowling alley sucks but maybe get up and get the customer what they ask for.

The place is really clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Came on Saturday afternoon and was able to get a lane quickly. My four year old was given some arcade cards to use which was very nice. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because our lane was acting weird not dropping pins or dropping them with some falling down. My 4 year old got a strike when she didn't even bowl. We came to celebrate our dad/grandfather's birthday on Veterans Day evening and had reserved a lane but neglected to mention the reason for our visit. The staff set up our lane with lovely decorations anyways and were so lovely and kind when we asked to change our sign to reflect a happy birthday message. We had a fun time here. This was our annual bowling tournament and we usually hold it at the old Thunderbird location. I had multiple people say they like this location much better and that the food was even better. The microphone did not work very well while we were announcing winners to various drawings but overall it was a fun time for the group. I recently visited your location and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing experience. While the facilities and lanes were fine, the customer service completely ruined the outing. The receptionist with long hair guy with glasses was shockingly rude from the moment we walked in. Signed up for a make up league session. 10/27/24. The manager won't turn the alley lights on for astethic purposes. We cannot see the line arrows at all. It's 5:30 pm. No mood lighting is needed. Manager lacked customer service skills. Going somewhere else next time. Do not recommend.

They have some work to do. The lanes do break down too often. The bathroom does smell quite a bit. And they did raise prices on alcohol so where it's kind of like you're at a ballpark buying a beer. The staff is nice enough and they fix the lanes pretty quickly when they break down though.

Read the reviews before I came and my experience reinforced a lot of them. Bar was solid, on top of things and made sure things were right. The bowling financial experience wasn't as great. When I came in guy said $5.99 per game and I showed him my shoes. I bowled what I thought and tallied as 7 games with all 7 scores. $185 for my family to go for two hours, the lanes are terrible we slipped the whole time which was not ideal for someone with bad knees. The service was good just overpriced for terrible lanes.

Great place to have fun... $20 for unlimited rounds... When we had an issue ..it was promptly addressed by employee.. And we were given free beverages for the wait... Amf is my go to destination for fun!!!

I hosted a bowling night for our employees here and the venue was really great! It was easy to reserve online and they had the food and drink options we selected set up nicely for us when we arrived. It was a great night, everyone had fun, and I highly recommend hosting your event here!

A great place to relax and have fun with your friends. Their unlimited bowling games deal is the best. The staff is very generous and nice as well. They are very straight forward and willing to help you out if something goes wrong. If you're looking for a good bowling alley, this is the place.

If you book online, you get unlimited bowling for $25 a person. If you walk in and go bowling, they charge you five dollars a game per person. I played six games bought two beers and got two shoe rentals and it cost me $111.00? When I brought this up with the people at the front desk, they said well that's only online and we can't do anything about that. This feels like robbery to me. We like to bowl as a family. We were greated by friendly staff. We were assigned a lane and had a nice night bowling. We didn't have any big issues, although the two lanes next to us had issues with the bowling balls being returned. The one snag was that the game session would end prior to the last person bowling their tenth frame.

This location is by far the best AMF I've been to. The staff is always in good moods and doing everything they can to make sure customers are happy and want to come back. The food is up to par while still being reasonably priced and the drinks are impeccable. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

From the outside this place looks sketchy but inside is so fun! The arcade was amazing, my kids had a blast. The workers there were tentative and nice, bowling was so much fun! I just wasn't a fan of the food, but I'm picky so don't take my word on it lol

There are plenty of bowling alleys and the atmosphere is good. Only reason for deducting a star is that their tvs distract from being able to see the bowling lines that help with guiding you. The tvs are cool but maybe add lighting to better see the lane.

AMF Desert Hills Lanes is a great neighborhood bowling alley! The prices are reasonable compared with other Bowlero locations, and the summer deals are awesome! The staff is friendly, and the lanes are clean. The arcade area is tight on space, but there are a good variety of games to choose from!

This place was totally awesome everybody was so nice and so friendly. The environment was awesome it had everything we needed.

Bowling was a super fun experience and the loaded fries were amazing. The reason this place deserves 2 stars is the burdensome customer service provided by a male at the front desk Friday may 5, 2023. The music is super loud in there (which is a great vibe) however, I asked this man a simple question, he answered and I said ?what? because I couldn't hear him over the music and he straight up yelled at me. I do understand that I needed him to repeat what he said but he did not have to yell at me in that tone

Had a Groupon and chose exactly the start of league bowling on Sunday night (that's 5pm) to walk in the door. So, it was super crowded and loud, which is almost better than being somewhere empty and sad. We put our names on an hour long wait-list, ordered food for the kids and it only took about 5 minutes after the food came. It took exactly 2 hours for 6 not good bowlers to get through 2 games so it was perfect. It was clean, everything worked, and the staff was friendly. Great buy for the money! The lane

The customer service in this place is quite poor. The staff is very abrasive and unwelcoming and often nowhere to be found. If you come to play with friends and family they force a large group of people to all play in one lane even though they have many open lanes that don't get used for hours while you are there. I used to play league here and the staff used to be nice. Since they changed staff this place has gone down hill regardless of their recent remodel. I have given this place many chances but won't

All I have to say was we had fun for sure but for 2 adults and 2 kids it cost $97 and that is ridiculous! At least the drinks were fairly priced, but the $97 for the 4 of us was also a deal they had going on. Soooooo wouldn't recommend.

Great place to spend time with family. The staff is really friendly and more then willing to help you out if you have problems. Good pricing for the area. Great music is always playing both modern and older music. The down side is it took a long time to order some soft drinks. Once I was finally able to order took a long time for her to run my credit card she looked like she didn't know what she was doing when it came to running the computer system.

Good atmosphere. Service is usually a bit slow, but most alleys seem that way. Now the most important part: The lanes need updating in the worst way. Pin setters leave loose rack constantly. Balls gets stuck on a daily basis. I know its expensive but I wish they would update the lanes. Staff is good overall.

I brought my family here today at around 610; we live in the neighborhood, and we just wanted to bowl. I felt so taken aback by the Service received when we were told we wouldn't be able to play and tried to inquire more information. At the end of our 36-week long league, we were looking forward to the last position round. Could not get decent practice in as the lanes would continually drop pins trying to rack. Into the first frame had to be moved to another pair of lanes. Ownership upgraded the scorers and is working on the seating, but we have yet to see attention to the lanes.

My nephew had his 6th birthday party here and it was pretty cool the way they do birthday parties. I didn't know that was a thing. Good job on that . I didn't really interact with employees but everyone seemed pleasant. By no fault their own, this place has become somewhat downtrodden due to the unsavory characters who inhabit the parking lot and circle k next door so I would probably not be visiting in evening . But this is a long time neighborhood business and I hope they clean up the neighborhood someday

Our bowling experience was so great! We went for a friends birthday and Jeremy was the most helpful. The bartender poured the drinks just right, the pizza and wings were surprisingly delicious for bowling alley food, and the deal for the two hours and all the food was unbeatable! Will return for sure :)

the shoes seem pretty new which is nice, the ball size is good to the medium size 8 is perfect I cant never seem to find a good size house ball but they had one which is nice. overall pretty nice.

Great experience. This is one of the cleaner and more updated bowling alleys. Service is friendly. They no longer have a real food/snack bar so it is a bit strange having to order food from the little bar window. They had several staff member walking around cleaning off tables which was nice because the areas were always clean.

The manager was completely rude and racist. I forgot my id and my husband brought the alcohol. She saw him hand it to me. I didn't drink anything. She sent an employee over to take the drink and didn't refund the money. Because she said on the cameras she saw me drink it. She completely lied they didn't even have cameras. It was kids that were 17 drinking next to me. I didn't say anything. I just called the police. Please if you are any mind if race other than white, DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL FIND ANY REASO

We had our team builder here, and the staff was amazing. They were polite and friendly. They joked with us and helped us with our every need. They made our team builder great.

Downside was ordering drinks using the app. It took about 2 games with 4 bowlers to get drinks. This was due to the location unable to serve drinks with grapefruit juice. I ordered a Paloma. So because of this, the other drinks for the rest of our party weren't made until I was asked to select something else. I'm not a bartender, so I ordered vodka and Cranberry juice (cape cod). So you can guess my overall experience. Lol
