I was bowling at practice league and had very unpleasant experiences with one of the ladies at the desk. I believe the last name is Wade. Not sure what or why this female is always so rude. You can't get any assistance wirhout her nasty stank attitude. She better stop thinking she can be rude and that it is okay. I will not continue to support a business or spend my money where I am not respected. Dag gone shame how someone acts that way and works in Customer Service. Uh yea no. I am good and won't be back!

Great Atmosphere! Great Deals! Skip Bowlero or Pinstripes, this is where people in DC should be headed! Manager was very nice and welcoming, family-friendly environment and affordable prices.

Had a great time with my church Zion Church on ZLO day. ZLO... YOU KNOW!!! The bowling alley is aged, but overall, it was nice.

I VISITED THIS LOCATION BECAUSE I HAD A GROUPON VOUCHER TWO WEEKENDS IN A ROW I WAS REFERRED HERE FROM THE ST. BARNABAS ROAD LOCATION. HOWEVER I WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO BE THERE BEFORE 6PM TO HONOR THE VOUCHER. HOW ER DUE TO THE NUMEROUS TOURNAMENTS PLEASE CALL BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I HAD 6 GUESTS WITH ME.

We bowled here last night and had so much fun! The manager was so friendly and the whole experience was great. We definitely plan to go back for our next bowling night! Would highly recommend ??

I want with my girlfriend on a Saturday night, and the manager was very rude. When we walked in we saw the picture flyer and showed him the flyer we saw at the front table as you walk in. He stated I don't care what you have found and where you found it ...the prices are up on the board behind the register. He then left not honoring the price that we saw for $17.49. (see pic) after that he walked over to the table where we stated the flyers were at and threw them out. The additional guy behind the register

Bowling was fine but it was severely under staffed,they were friendly but very disorganized. The pizza oven was broken so we couldn't order pizza then we were limited to items they had to fry. No salad options either. They were out of a lot of items and after we paid almost $60 for other item beer included they would give us a free pitcher of water!

I went here for my bff (overpriced) birthday outing. The atmosphere was okay, however the service staff could've been a lot better for the price point given the high price for their birthday party packages. The package we purchased included 2 hours of unlimited bowling and unlimited alcoholic drinks (I ended purchasing about 1 hr). To be honest, the price wasn't really worth it. If you wanted unlimited drinks, you had to get 2 at a time because the "bartender" was slow as molasses (which was kind of AMFs

Pretty decent facility with a great proshop. The restroom appeared to have been serviced. I couldn't help but notice the main floor to have spillage stains, to be expected when kids and adults drop and spill. However, the establishment should have a scheduled cleaning during and after close of business. Whenever I enter an establishment when they open for the day and notice filth clearly from the business day prior, it's a step back in care for the patrons.

I had a great time with my friend. The environment is nice. It is big and has lots of lanes. Plenty of parking lot. Staff are friendly and nice. I don't mind to go there again.

We had a great time despite the COVID-19. $25.51 per person for 2 hrs of bowling and shoe rental.

I went for the first time with my male best friend and his family. I just watched them bowl. Everything was great. Nice atmosphere, customer service was great, areas was clean. Definitely recommend

Great spot to checkout. Solid 4-Star for me but I don't bowl much. Has my favorite features: bowling, bar with good drinks and delicious food. I had the sampler and everything from the fries to wings were delicious. ?? Drinks were great and strong. The actual bowling and equipment were good. Now the wait was 30min on a busy night and with one person on the register renewing my game took a bit longer than I like.

My friends and I went a few days ago, and we really enjoyed it. The manager and staff were helpful + amazing, and the food was delicious as well. We couldn't have had a better bowling experience. Will be coming back very soon!

My second weekend coming here for a bowling tournament. Some lines were a little delayed last week but seem to be smooth this week. Ordered food this week. Boneless wings sweet chili sauce and chicken fingers both with fries totaling a little under $30.

Haven't been in a long time. Party food was good. Didn't bowl but everyone had a great time.

Went for a birthday party. Plenty of parking. Inside was clean. Bathrooms were decent. Plenty seating inside for large groups. The food was good. We had cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, BBQ wings and plain wings. They have a good variety on their menu. Staff was very nice.

Mr. Emerson, the manager is amazing. He was attentive to all of our needs and greeted us as if we were family. The entire staff was accommodating and they even brought food to our lanes. When it was time to leave, everyone asked if we had a good time and they genuinely seemed to care. Will be back.

Every employee was very helpful, the food was replenished as promised. We celebrated a birthday, they honored my request and announced over intercom Happy Birthday to the honoree. We did our part and finished our game, cake and clean up. Just a very nice time, no problems. My only concern was no green veggies on the menu package.

This place is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lanes are clean and modern without having a ton of screens above the lanes to distract you from your bowling. The food is good and a good value and the drinks are reasonable. Not that far from Capitol Hill.

Personable staff that get you checked in quickly; however, if you order food be prepared to wait for 30 minutes for 4 tenders and fries and pay $15. The cook seemed to be killing time to do the least she could before getting off. Eat before you go.

Great experience. I love bowling again. Bar is cool as well. Bartender has a great attitude and fixed me a drink tailored to my taste off menu and it was fabulous. I don't normally drink but she fixed me a watermelon, coconut water and vodka drink and I loved it.

It was very nice. It was such a good experience and the pizza was delicious ?? The price was pretty reasonable for two hours of bowling ??. We had 8 bowlers. It was $28 per person

Very poor customer service and unprofessional the old bald head man stopped the game just because my toddler baby was playing yet we paid for 5 games and was not done. This is the worst place yet he said they DONT GIVE REFUNDS SO PREDDY MUCH THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. so ppl please be aware that when the game freeze or turn off they are controlling it doing it on purpose. When he approached us he was very nasty and rude. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!

Concession Stand staff was stand offish and had a little attitude. Not real bad but definitely noticeable. The house its self is really great. My Wife and I really like it there and plan to return soon for more tournaments....

Nothing too special. Standard bowling alley. Only thing was the bathrooms could use a little attention. Plenty of parking which is nice.

Celebrating a birthday. Good turnout and was truly enjoyed by all that attended. However the concession stand needed help and resulted in your food being cold because persons was not made aware that food was ready. First time ever experiencing this problem. Need to work on that.

Came here for a birthday party (adult). This is not a bar, I would definitely pregame before you come. Pretty standard bowling alley. The food was quick fried things. Overall clean and staff was mindful of any extra requests we may have had.

The staff was awesome. The guy at the front desk (Dave I think) was so super helpful. He even came over&gave us a few tips. I'll definitely be back w/the fam.

They won't give you ice when you ask for it! A simple request for 'ice water' was denied!!! They say it's against their rules! Really? I was told they think you're going to bring liquor in there and use the ice to drink it. Ridiculous!!!!

Decent atmosphere, however when I went with my wife, the lane that was assigned to us kept freezing which resulted in us having to call for them to fix it quite a few times. As for the food, the wait time was a bit of an annoyance seeing as though they only had one person working in the food area.

The lady that attended to me was very rude. There was a lot of traffic and may be they already know some customers who were cutting through the long line from the right side. Multiple lines were formed because they weren't controlled. Not very organized at this center. Customer service is poor. The attending lady spoke rudely and unapologetically to some guests. My problem with this Bowling Alley is the employee's. Costumer Service doesn't exist at this establishment. The employee's that make the food are very nasty. If my family members didn't constantly throw birthday parties here I would never come back. There are plenty other Alleys save yourself the headache and Bowl some where else. They need better supervision and customer service training.

The experience wasnt the best. We were able to bowl pretty quickly with no problem. There was absolutely no TRAFFIC AT ALL ON A SATURDAY! But, the place closes entirely to early compared to the neighborhood Bowling Alley. As far as the food I can't really say much none of us eat. But, the bartenders took over 30 mins to make drinks so most of us just went without it. The atmosphere and music was definitely not up to date and when they closed, they didnt refunded us in a free bowl whenever we come back.

Need to hire some people to clean the place up. Lanes was good, manager on duty was great. She was the only one that knew what was going on. (Go to front counter to see if we could get a pair of lanes) calls manager, cause he doesn't know if they have any. While I'm looking at about 20 open. So I asked, Do you have a league coming in? IDK...... (Go to snack bar to order food) calls manager, after they finished there conversation while we are standing right in front of them. But the place needs to be cleaned

We reserved a lane online when we got to the counter the owner stated that he has no email about the order. We showed him receipt from the bank and everything we had to leave with the kids and call the bank to try and get our money back will never use this service

The efficiency of the staff is beyond ridiculous while a tournament is going on. I'm not sure why a mechanic spends more time upfront then in the back where he is needed or job requires him. Preventive maintenance is definitely not being done to prevent lane breakdown.

After being told the wait was 20 minutes we stood there for an hour with multiple lanes open and complete chaos at the registers. Finally got a lane but couldn't find lightweight balls for the kids. Then ordered 2 pretzels that took an hour & we ended up eating them in the car. This place is a disaster!

They cut our game off the last frame when my 8yr old was bowling because they were closing. Mind you we paid for our game 38 minutes before they're last game time. They told us we could play another game if there was time. Even though we only wanted to purchase 1 game, why say that if you knew how you would handle the situation when it came to closing. Great staff. Maintained social distancing and cleanliness. Fills up pretty fast so go early if you are (COVID) nervous about crowds. There was plenty of space at around noon.

Bald head manager very disrespectful. Not really sure why he's a manager . Waiting forever for food and drinks just not worth the money . Kids really enjoyed themselves!! Got to give the kids time to enjoy and have fun before going back to school!!! Bowling is one of their outlets to be competitive with each other. Came through about 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon. Walk right in, got two lanes. Bowled several games. It wasnt crowded and the lanes worked. Yes the alley could use a up grade but its plenty of parking and on Sunday's at 5 pm they have $2.50 a piece games. We didn't stay long enough to eat. But the tables around us seemed to enjoy the food.

The worst customer service ever. Every worker was rude with bad attitudes. The game kept stopping and the service guy look like he didn't want to fix or come to work today. He made us feel like we were breaking those old dated lanes. They are overpriced! They charge 19.99 pp shoes included for unlimited bowling in 2 hours. It sounds great if the machines would work and they won't take that in consideration. I left there feeling like I got jipped.

The food service was terrible. The whole place was way under staffed. It had taken 40 minutes to get two pretzels, which had been out sitting for at least 10 minutes. I was very displeased. And will not be returning.

I have a complaint regarding the hours of operation, when a league member is able to use the practice games. One Sunday the alley opened at noon, I arrived at 12:30 the lady at the desk was not accommodating at all.She informed me that no lanes would not be available until 6 o clock, and none were available even though the center was empty and the group did not arrive until 1:45 pm. Fun place to bowl. Great music selection if you like hip hop and R&B. The cashier struggled with the difference between toddler and big kid shoe sizes. Other than that it was a great experience.

This place is broken down and upright rude. The general manager can first of all; need to give some consideration to his customers. He takes your money and does not tell you how to set up the names or anything. He took my money and failed to tell me in what order the names were supposed to be or anything until mid way of the game; plus asked him if he could help us set it up right and gave no answer. Terrible machine keep breaking down. Now health officials say can't eat any food only bottle water during league. So 2 1/2 ,hours no food. Snack bar closed. Employees can't work. That's so said. One week before Christmas people losing jobs.????????

I visited for the first AND LAST time Sunday around 4:30pm. I was disappointed with the LACK of staff help available with purchasing games and shoes. There was only 1 person (with an attitude) having to do it all. Then when we finally started bowling, our balls kept jamming (lanes 39 and 40) and we had to keep going to the counter asking for help (because the service button didn't work). It's what is expected from a bowling alley. It was clean , good variety of bowling ball sizes the rented shoes looked new and the food as expected was salty, greasy bowling alley food. Overall a great place to have fun with the family.

Lanes are horrible, we get to the second frame of our game and the ball return breaks down...we had to get new lanes and those lanes are malfunctioning. So needless to say I was angry and wanted to get a refund and leave, only to be told absolutely no refunds is the policy. I'll never go there again. That place is in desperate need of an overhaul and a complete one at that from the parking lot to the woods behind it.

The last time my boyfriend and I went to Capital Plaza, the employees were a very rude with a side order of a nasty attitude and wouldn't help us if we had problems. Even that douchebag manager who has a bigger one than the others. I don't even want to visit anymore unless they get a new manager with a better attitude.

Covid protocols were 100% and my friends and I had a lot of fun. Our lane messed up a few times but the manager got us back and running quickly. Great customer service!!!

Your equipment will get damaged here. The ball returns need to be replaced. This place could be great, but it lacks the attention it truly needs.

I loved the challenge! The staff made me welcome. The facility was clean, and the lanes were managed well

We had a ball despite the minor issues. Management was more than happy to fix every issue we had and even gave us 15 extra minutes at the end if timed game to finish it.

Just plain old nasty, in every way, i visited with a friend in a league, horrible experience. The workers + manager have bad attitudes+ the whole place needs to be redone. Went on a Saturday afternoon and there were children running around everywhere. Management was visibly overwhelmed and it was a struggle for them to meet basic requests made by customers. Probably won't go back.
