While visiting Boone, we decided to stop and check this place out! This place place is totally cool and unique! Books, arcades and donuts. A little something for everyone! I wish we had something like this in Winston-Salem! The staff were very friendly and helpful! Donuts were delicious. If you are visiting Boone, stop by a check this place out!

I absolutely love this place!! The donuts are huge and phenomenal. My personal favorite is the maple (left), whereas my roommate really enjoyed the Frosted Flakes donut (right). We also had lattes which were very good!! We were able to speak to the owners who are super incredibly sweet. The overall vibe is very inviting and laid back. A perfect place for studying, a date, for families, etc. I will be coming back to this beautiful family owned small business!!

Great donuts. Not a ton of variety, but the quality is there. I had a vanilla with sprinkles (because I'm a child) and chocolate and strawberry glaze. Both were delicious. Good and soft. The vanilla icing was perfect, and the chocolate icing with strawberry drizzle was a nice touch. Definitely recommend the if you're sweet tooth is demanding some attention.

Super chill on a Thursday morning at 9. Minimal types/ flavors of donuts. Apple fritters looked like a fail today as well as the glazed unless it soaked into the donut already. Big fluffy yeast donuts decently tasty. Coffee was good, staff was nice.

The new arcade theme is interesting. The workers are always very friendly, coffee is always good, and the donuts are always excellent. I continue to come back when I'm in town because my aunt and I love the donuts.

They took a good thing and ruined it. Hole Lotta Donuts was easily the best donut shop in town. When Ambrosia took it over they changed everything and now it barely counts as a donut shop. The donuts are almost like an afterthought now, and it shows in the way they taste. So disappointing.

Awesome, inviting space & nicely decorated. You feel very much at home. You can get your donuts, even cupcakes & ice cream & kick back to enjoy some relaxation on the sofa, neatly tucked into the corner. I love how they lay out checkers and other fun things to do! I got a chai with oatmilk and it was absolutely delicious and the donuts were huge and so good. The girl who was working at the time we came in was so sweet and kind to us and the other customers. The ambiance is super relaxed and peaceful. There are games of checkers and chess at the larger tables and comfortable seating. Definitely would come back!!

We stopped by today for donuts and coffee. Apparently this is now just an arcade? The kids loved the games, but the donuts were not good. You could tell they were several days old, and the selection was super minimal. Coffee was decent, service was very good, but the cool coffeeshop atmosphere is totally gone. I can't imagine that this change has been taken well by customers, I would love for them to turn things around. We really used to love the donuts and atmosphere.

I was really just there for the donuts, and boy had the donut I had was pretty fantastic. He was a chocolate glazed donut topped with baklava. Let me say that again: topped with baklava! Also, it was huge. That and a large cup of coffee kept me going most of the day. Too enthusiastic thumbs up.

Fantastic donuts! Way bigger than I expected, but leftovers held up really well in the fridge! I got ours to go, but the atmosphere seemed so chill and cozy, I wish I had been able to hang out there for a bit!

What a treat! These doughnuts are HUGE (bigger than my hand and so delicious! We got original, maple, chocolate with sprinkles, and an apple fritter. I especially loved the maple!!

So we have a fun family weekend trip planned out and we go here for the donuts and the arcade at 9 and it opens at 8 but the doors were locked we checked everything and they said open we called their number but no one answered.

Excellent doughnuts. Very big, fluffy, and fresh. A little pricey but worth the occasional treat.

Place is super cute and has a great location. Seemed like only one person was working which was no big deal, they did awesome and was very friendly. I got 3 donuts around 4pm, every single one of them was hard as a rock and had no flavor. A complete waste of money. I've never spit out something so fast. If you want donuts that taste like biscuits, this is your place. Sorry not sorry.

Note, I'm a fan of small business and would like to see the place succeed. I hope this review helps them improve a few things so they'll still be there next time I visit Boone. Servers do a poor job of getting the coffee orders out in a timely manner. And note, you can't order plain coffee here for some reason, which would have sped things up. We went to see what is was like and the website said it was open and their sign said it was open. But when we got there the doors were locked and we couldn't play. Horrible

They are currently closed. I was excited to try this place and I get there to find a sign in the door. The sign stated they are closed and relocating. They need to update there hours

I hate to leave a bad review for a small business, but the doughnut I had was gross. I have a huge sweet tooth and I threw the donut away, which is really saying something! The flavor was artificial and chemical-like and the toppings were soggy. Maybe I tried them on an off day?

Such a cute space! We came from out of town and hung out here on a rainy day. Lots of ample seating and the donuts are amaazing and really big! Really nice fluffy rise and some unique flavors!

This was great! Staff was super friendly and the doughnuts were good. There was a really limited selection, but the doughnuts were huge. The flavored lemonades were also a surprising treat.

Great place. We ordered the ?Wine Flyte with Donut Holes? which consisted of Riesling, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and Malbec flyte paired with four donut holes. The kids ordered ice cream and shared the donuts. A comfortable place to relax and enjoy your desserts on the couch or chairs while you sink into them. Staff if friendly and does not rush you to leave.

People who complain about slow service during these hard times need to have a reality check about what we're dealing with as a country, especially with those who work food service. This place offers fresh made huge donuts, some of the absolute best I've ever tasted. Coffee is okay, but why would you go to a donut shop for coffee instead of paying a visit to Blue Deer, Bald Guy, or any other local cafe within a short distance? This place makes donuts and does it spectacularly. Not much else to say.

We arrived around 2:00pm on a Saturday for doughnuts. Only two doughnuts were left and no plans were to make any more for the day (they closed at 7pm). Super disappointed but the two doughnuts we had were delicious! Best advice is to be there when the doors open!

These donuts cast a shadow! If you put a dunk or a Krispy behind it you'll start to wonder where either went. Really fresh quality too. Highly recommended

This was my second time within a month trying to go here. The first time they were sold out. How does a donut place sell out? They should be made fresh all day long. Today?s experience was the opposite. We went in when they weren't busy. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes, the employees wouldn't even acknowledge us. We eventually just walked out. Service here has gone extremely down hill.

We were traveling the area and walked in. The place was very clean, the donuts looked amazing. However was not greeted when we walked in, after waiting 10 minutes with no one taking our order we ended up leaving. They weren't even busy, no one else in line. Just very disappointed in the lack of service shown here. Really wanted to have some coffee and a donut. Sorry not a nice place.

If you like doughnuts, this is the place foe you. I went in for one, but a couple of pies and a fritter seemed to have my name on them too. Everything was so yummy. Perfect for someone with a sweet tooth.

Best doughnuts in Boone, hands down. The doughnuts are huge and so delicious. Favorite: Orange Icing Highly recommend if you love doughnuts but go early as they tend to not have much later in the day. Prices are steep but the doughnuts are worthy. I never leave Boone without stopping here at least once for a taste of Heaven.

I like coming here every week for about an hour in-between classes and work and it is always a lovely spot to stop and have some coffee or a donut! Sophia is typically working and she is so lovely, always greets everyone and has the BEST playlists for sitting and doing some work, truly makes the vibes 10/10

Don't bother. The donut holes are like dough rocks. They were dry with very little glaze. My friend bought a donut and it was better but still only meh.

Went twice within a span and would have gone more except they were closed Sun - Tues. Depressing, but understandable (so get your product while you can!). They're best fresh or within 24 hours, after that they dry out. But wow, so doughy and substantial. Can't go wrong with any of the options. Anything chocolate or caramel is very rich and worth tasting, but either the maple or the classic vanilla with sprinkles was the family-favorite.

So far, I'm quite impressed. however, I'm a basic kinda doughnut/donut dude - regular, glazed, two please. The ?wagon-wheel style? is a fancy way of saying that they're big! We love doughnuts as a family but didn't expect the massive yummy doughnuts we found. One is plenty, so grab a doughnut pull up a chair in front of the Harry Potter Wizarding Chess and relax. The girl behind the counter was smiling and very pleasant. If we lived closer we would definitely be back!
