Me and my son and parents had an awesome time at Helen Fun Factory! My son enjoyed the arcade, laser tag and go karts! We got the package where you get three go kart rides, 1 train ride and laser tag! My son loved it and we will definitely be back!!! The employees are great!
Our first time visiting Helen Fun Factory the last week of December and we had the best time. Plenty of things to do including arcade, indoor go-karts for adults and smaller kids, train rides, bouncy houses, roller skating, and laser tag. Prices are very reasonable and there's literally fun for all ages. We enjoyed the indoor go-karts but had the most fun in laser tag. The set up was awesome, the environment was so fun and the guns we used were very life like in looks. Even my 8 yr old little girl who pla
We found this place online while looking for something to do on a bad weather day with the kids.... I'm really glad we found it. As a kid from the 90s, it was great to see an arcade with laser tag, bounce houses, arcade games, air hockey, and a rollee skating rink under one roof. They also have some memorabilia and what not around the place...which was cool to see as well. Most importantly though....The staff there was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The kids had an absolute ball....and (to us
Took our grandkids here yesterday. They had SO MUCH FUN! The staff were amazing patient with the little ones, and the carts were new and ELECTRIC! The whole place was extremely clean, too! There's a skate rink and bounce house in the next building, too..
What a great time! My husband and I were in Helen for Oktoberfest and wanted to do something other than wander up and down the strip and eat? and drink, lol. We went to the Alpine Fun Factory, spent $20 on 100 tokens and had an awesome time playing all kinds of arcade games for the afternoon! The Walking Dead game is my favorite, it's a cabinet game where you sit and the controllers are crossbows. I was excited to find that here, we also got to play the Jurassic Park cabinet game, Big Game Hunter, a ride-o
We had a blast playing laser tag! It was so much to play with the other group. The instructor was great! We made it there from Miami so if you're in Helen , I highly recommend.
The new ownership is really making this place an indoor gem in Helen! I got to talk to the owner and he's got big plans for the space. The haunted house may be the scariest one in Georgia. There is a very cute "tiny town" replica of Main Street Helen inside for a kids' ride next to the adult go carts. The staff is very friendly and the owner is hands on. It literally gets better every day. Rain or shine, you need to check out the Helen Fun Factory!
Don't waste your money here! The entire place was still under renovation. The bounce houses were kind of lack luster, with only a couple things to do for 15 dollars. When we were heading to the laser tag we went through several hallways that reeked of mildew and water stains and I even bruised my knee pretty bad on the sad wood cut-outs that they called ?hiding places?. With the arcade lots of the machines were not working leaving practically nothing to do in that area. On the upside the staff was pretty ni
It has potential to be a fun place. The staff needs a serious personality upgrade as everyone acts as if we were an imposition or bother. I asked the manager why everyone here acts like they hate their life and she said "it's just everything keeps going wrong". You would think since the place is made for kids it would have a little more kid friendly staff. The only staff member that was friendly was izzy. He made the laser tag and train ride enjoyable. The kid with the mullet running the kids go karts looke
Awesome time at the fun factory! Really cool place, and the skating rink was great! Shout out to Scotty! The best host and did an awesome job with the kiddos! ???????????? Thanks guys! We will be back!
Let me start by saying if you're nostalgic about the 80s and 90s then this is the place for you! If you're expecting something new and pretentious, stay away unless you can have an open mind and enjoy what's being provided. With that said, we love this place! Indoor go-carts, tons of arcade games, a few pool tables, an air hockey table, mixed with a few old cars, and a throwback skating rink that hits you in the right place. Everyone working here was extremely friendly and helpful. We were extremely grate
Great place to visit with the family. The owner is very friendly and trying to make many improvements and it seems like there are always new stuff being added. The electric go-carts are great as well.
Found the Alpine fun factory while visiting Helen, And have zero complaints. The staff was very nice and helpful, the entire venue was spacious and the go karts were A LOT of fun!! The pricing seemed fair to me, especially for a tourist town. We utilized the go kart track, arcade & laser tag and we're satisfied with all!! Whenever I return to Helen we will definitely be going back to the fun factory, thanks for the hospitality and memories made!!
They no longer have the bounce area or laser tag, half of the arcade games did not work and staff looked less than enthused to be at work. Not the most welcoming for tourists.
Alpine Fun Factory has a ticket arcade, go karts, a bounce house area and a skating rink. The prices are reasonable and the place is large enough where you don't feel cramped. They have free on site parking (which is rare in Helen). The staff is friendly and helpful.
Amazing, helpful staff! Awesome for all my kids ages 1-10. Highly recommend! Nostalgic, warm atmosphere, plenty to do and all day to return for a play break.
Staff was very friendly and you have to check out the lazer tag, and the lazer tag dude was very fun to be around and I had an amazing time
This place is awesome! Everyone is extremely friendly and treats you like family. We had a blast with the kids and the whole family had plenty to do. Everything in one place We actually went back 2 days in a row. Thanks for a great experience
This place is the most worst skating rink I have ever been to. The rink is cement floor that's been painted and the roller rink has cracks all in it. The is no skate guard out on the rink. They don't have the beginners roller Walker things. No concession stand. No strob lights. Plus it cost to much. $20 dollars a person. For nothing. I won't be going back. A roller rink is supposed to be a waxed hardwood floor, not a painted cement floor with cracks all over it. Someone is going to get seriously hurt
We had a great time. There is entertainment for every age group. Go-carts were great. Laser tag was a BLAST. I wish they had the ability to video the laser tag matches so we could have a DVD for memories. Printed results of who won and kill stats would also be nice. We did have a blast and hope to come back soon.
So much fun! Go carts, skating, and laser tag is what we did. The prices are affordable and you are guaranteed to find something for everyone. Friendly staff that actually make your day the absolute best. Family owned establishment and they all are super nice and helpful. We had a blast!
This place is super weird and way over priced. The Lazer tag is fun but that was about it. I strongly regretted going and felt like I waisted my money. I think the vision is there but it's going to take a lot of work (and adjusting the prices) to bring that vision into fruition.
Super awesome place! I took my baby here to do the bounce house area last week and he LOVED it. It was big area of jumpy thing and a nice arcade too. Excellent value, wonderful and helpful owners. Over all and amazing experience. We can't wait to go back soon :) very highly recommend for kids
The carts are electric and kept stopping. The ride is 7 minutes but it's broken up between laps that are slowed down due to other carts stopping. When we told them it wasn't fun for that reason they told us to stay in the car next time. We have looked forward to this place each time we visit Helen, but we won't be back.
We had a birthday party there and it was so fun! The staff was awesome!
Brought my kiddos here Saturday and we all had a blast and the older lady at the skate rink was also very kind as well. I work in Helen and will definitely be hitting up this place on my days off. My kids really enjoyed the arcade games too. Next time we will ride the go carts.
Great place price is fair kids have a awesome time so do adults ?? ??
Absolutely a blast! OMG They treated the kiddos to a wild game of Lazer Tag(He's just a big kid lol)!!! Fun for all.
Our son loved the Go Karts, arcade could use an uplift, and you don't need to plan on staying too long (ie. Dave & Busters, or Chuckie Cheese). Staff was very nice, and thorough. Was the perfect place to bring our son on a rainy day. Perhaps they should consider food service of some kind?
Lots of fun, best use of a couple hours of weather time in Helen
Honestly had such a blast! The workers there are super amazing and helpful and I have to give a shoutout to Aaliyah, for making the experience way funnier and more fun by joining in; She had my party laughing on the floor. Next is Olivia, thank you so much for the help at the end of the day before yall were closing I lost my phone and she was extremely helpful and her DJ skills at the rolling ring is on point! And lastly April, probably absolutely one of the hardest workers I would just see her running aro
they have all kinds of stuff to do there what a blast the young ladie that was working the the front counter she was awesome make when you are there you plan tp be there for a couple of hrs amd please be patient and polite and just have a great time with your family we were there all day they had package you could do so qe did it all thank u guys for tje memories when we come back we are gping to play lazer tag. Alan.
A hidden gem! So much possible fun! The game of laser tag was top notch!
Bounce room is only open 2 day a week and this isnt mentioned on the web page. The employees were super friendly though. Just not a place for younger kids if the bounce room isn't open, May have had a different view if or grand boys were older.
Very hot inside, no A/C at all. Had to walk thru the building then outside and into another building where there were construction everywhere, just to get to the skating and bouncy part ,could easily get hurt if you have small children. The smell in the skating building is horrific! The skating floor was cracked and very hard to skate on. Do not recommend. Bathroom had insulation sticking out of the walls and the duct work is all over the place. Horrible experience
Kids loved the laser tag and carts. Staff was super nice. They are adding new activities soon which will make the Fun Factory the place to go when visiting Helen.
I visited on 5-29-24 with son, 16 and 6 yr old grandkids. Both enjoyed it. Indoor go karts are electric but go at a very good speed. 6 yr old got to operate a jeep solo, staff girl instructor/attendant was very patient and caring. This was grand daughters first time doing this. Go karts were $25 for 7 mins seemed short but was enjoyable besides PAPA would have gotten to dissy if longer. Do recommend along with their arcade area, priced like others.
These people do NOT care for their gorillas properly. The dogs look like they haven't been fed in weeks. A man took my daughter's cotton candy. Zookeeper Eddie did not give us a refund. A horrible zoo that should be shut down.
Zz?s laser tag worth every penny so fun ZZ?s laser tag was great experience
We came to Helen from Tennessee for vacation and decided to stop here and let the kids skate and play. They had a great time. They are renovating but everything is open. Sherry was awesome! She played whatever music my kids wanted to listen to, talked to us and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend bringing your family here for a fun time.
There is alot here! Some parts being renovated but lots to do otherwise. Bounce house, race cars at various speeds for different ages, token video games with prize tickets, roller skating(!), and party room. We have done birthdays in the bounce house the past 2 years. The kids love it. You have to monitor the kids yourself if they are little just in case.
I bring my toddler here all the time. He loves the arcade games. Shooting basket balls or rolling balls, he loves it. The owner and the staff have been nothing but nice to us. A lot of cracking jokes and laughing. If there's an issue with a machine, they fix it and make it right. I witnessed a KAREN fussing at a sweet worker today checking myself and my aunt out with over 10,000 tickets. (The absolute sweetest worker) All because The Karen and Karen?s husband did not want to wait in line. The worker took it
If you're looking for a wonderful place to take your family , I highly suggest the Alpine Fun Factory in Helen, Ga. Bring cash and buy tokens for tons of fun playing a huge variety of games. The owner and staff were professional and quick to solve any problems that you may incur. I witnessed a staff member being harassed by a customer and Nakara kept her cool; and not once did she return any angry words but remained professional. My family will be returning to have fun and to see what their new renovations
This place is amazing!! I heard it was under new management, and it shows because it seems like they're renovating and updating a lot of things. They have something for every person in my family to enjoy, no matter what age. Bouncy houses, arcade games, roller blading, go karts. I love this place. Planning a trip from now for the summer with my family.
My husband and I meant to skate for an hour and leave, but we ended up staying until closing. They have so many things to do...your family can be entertained the entire day. It is also very affordable. Once you get your skating bracelet, you can come and go the entire day without paying again. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners - very pleasant people, wanting to make sure that we enjoyed the activities to the fullest. We'll be back.
Our experience began with the change machine not working, followed by a machine taking my coins, which was followed by a game that didn't give tickets. Once we learned what does and doesn't work, we had a good time. We had $25 worth of tokens and our kids had a good time, so I consider it a win. The lady at the counter was very sweet. Enter with lower expectations and it'll be great.
I had the most fun at this place I've almost been around the whole world and I had the most fun here. Plus were staying in Helen for a week and were totally gonna hang out there all the time I'm in love with the go-karts I never wanna stop riding them!!! And the claw machines are good they are fun me and my family got a lot of stuffed animals out when we were there. It's so ridiculous of how much I love and enjoy this place!!!!!
This place is filled with positive energy. Families are enjoying each other. There's something fun for everyone. Still at work in progress, there's obviously work to be done. But many of the places are available, supervised, clean, and set up for fun.
Awesome fun place for the kids! Great family atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff!
We went here on a rainy day. My 13 yr old really enjoyed the go kart and my 11 yr old and I loved the skating rink. The arcade games are plentiful and well priced. All of the workers I interacted with were very friendly. Yes the place needs some updating but it did not stop us from having fun!
We went on the Alpine Express train ride! The driver was very friendly! Worth the money!
Biggest mistake they could have made. They closed the skating rink. It was the only one around here. It needs to be reopened.
They close at 9. We have been meaning to try the Alpine Fun Factory on one of our Helen trips for about 3 years. They close at 9. The place is huge, so there's plenty to do, but man it felt like half the arcade games were broken, some were marked and some just didn't work. They close at 9. The Go Karts were a BLAST. I highly recommend them. It was incredibly annoying that at least one employee started ?reminding? us that they closed at 9, at 8. At 8:50 when we were letting the kids count their tickets we we
The laser tag was amazing. Best, most realistic, and state of the art guns I have ever used. The operator was awesome and we had a great time. Also, the fastest go-kart I have been on inside! The prices were a bit high but I guess that's what's expected in this area. A must do in Helen!
I took my 2 granddaughters here. 3 & 1.5 years old. They had a great time. This is a great addition to Helen. The owner is continuing to add new things. It is great for families, Birthday party's, etc. You won't be disappointed.
Had a blast, but it is being remodeled. For the price, it was a great time and adults and kids alike had fun. We did the bounce zone which was fun for all of us. Even the 3 year old was on every blow up. The older kids and teenagers had a blast at laser tag. It was just a bit run down. Still it was fun and affordable.
My husband and I had a great time on the go karts. We also enjoyed the 2 arcades. My husband had a great time exploring the huge building. Me on the other hand wondered how they could be open with a leaky roof and some of the areas looking like a construction zone but that didn't take away from our fun experience. The skating rink brought me back to my childhood and the bouncy area was so neat. We had a lot of fun and it was decently priced. Check this out if you're in Helen and want something fun to do in
We tried to take the kids skating. What a waste of time, and money. The skating and bounce houses are in a separate building. You walk through a maze of rundown rooms and to get there. When entering the building it was an over powering smell of mold. The floors where saturated with water from the rain. The skates were so disgusting. I made the kids throw away their socks after putting them on. We really tried to make the best of the experience, but after only a few minutes everyone felt sick. Only plus the
We've been here a few times and have even done a couple birthday parties. They are always really nice and very accommodating. Go karts are a lot of fun but the kids really enjoy the skating and bounce zone. We just recently had an 80's themed birthday party and Scotty was in charge of making sure we had everything we needed. He and another lady, (I can't remember her name I'm so sorry) did an amazing job making sure everything went well. Even did a limbo competition in the skating rimk which was really cool
Absolutely wonderful! We went on the train by the Two Wheel Tavern. It was the perfect price and perfect for children of all ages (even adult children). Fun for ages 0-99! It was the perfect price for a perfect train ride. The train plays music and has a whistle that blows. The owners are friendly and even took pictures for us. The train ride was not too long or too short. It was just right! We received a discount because we had 5 people. We will be back!
Had an awesome time playing laser tag with the boys here. Big shout out to Ally/Allia (so sorry I forgot to ask how her name was spelled ??) she was a fantastic host and put on some great music for everyone.
My daughter is 2 and had the time of her life riding the indoor train! Conductor Scotty was enthusiastic and made sure we had a fun time. She also enjoyed the bounce house area.
Been coming here for years, the staff here have always been helpful and some of the kindest people I've delt with. I love that they are adding new things to enjoy and check out. Like the skating rink, recently discovered they had that. The arcade games were fun. That brought back some memories. Can't wait to check out the haunted house. Lastly I wanna give a shout out to the fellows on the track, big kudos for squeezing in me and my girlfriend for one last race even when it was technically closing time. God
I wish there would have been a ten star option! This place was beyond amazing and extremely accommodating to my kids and I, the experience we had here made memories to last a lifetime. I can't thank the staff enough for being so genuine and friendly to us. You would be doing your family a solid by bringing them here during your trip to Helen. Thanks guys!!
Visiting from Fulton county GA. We had a blast skating, arcade games, and yes go karts!!!! This place reminds me of Metrolanes without the lanes lol. Super friendly staff huge location. If your in the area please stop by and say what's up to Scottie and his staff. I can't wait to see the changes to this place in a year or two. Keep it up the community needs Alpine Fun Center.
The pool tables were "open" but we were told we'd have to play in the dark due to the lights not being hooked up. When we left because what we came to do wasn't available, the owner came outside and yelled at us across the parking lot about did we pay and he would have our vehicle towed. Pay for what services? Also, we had walked there from town. Great behavior and service.
We loved this place!!! My family went to celebrate my daughter's 11th birthday and we had so much fun. They have arcades, inflatables and go karts. We only had time for the go karts, as we were doing other activities in town, but we had so much fun on them! My husband and I got the 45mph karts and the kids were in the 25-ish mph karts. They were allowing one group at a time, which was great because we had the track to ourselves! Very friendly staff and reasonable prices.
I had a great time. Between the go-karts and laser tag I felt like a big kid again! The owner was great, I had great conversations with him. Perfect place for your family to visit while in Helen.
My family and I visited for the first time this weekend on our trip to Helen. We had the best time! This place has everything! We played in the arcade, drove go karts, played laser tag and got in the bubble balls. This was our first trip to Helen in a few years, but we will definitely be back soon and often. We were so happy to find this place. We haven't come to Helen in while bc there wasn't much to do with the kids. It's such a big place with so much different stuff to do and at a good price too. Everyon
Great place and lots of fun. Laser tag, Go Karts, bounce houses, skating and more. Lots to do! 5 star definitely!
Place (especially the Karts) was fun for what it was worth...but no A/C is a biiiiiiiig bummer! We would have stayed longer but could not take the heat :(
Our family gets together near Helen GA between Christmas and New Years. Each time we always come here for the go karts. Every time has been a blast for us. The owner is great and has always worked with us when they are busy to get us out on the track. When not busy, he has even offered to pull out his two faster karts for my brother in law and I to race with. He pretty much let's us have at it while we're there. I think mostly because, he has watched us enough to know that we race each other hard but, don't
Family did racing karts, 1hr of bouncy house, phaser wars, and arcade! Everyone was supper nice and accommodating! Worth the money and kids slept good due to being tired. Part 2: Came back years later (2019, now 2021). Place has definitely grown since. I can tell the owner has invested back into the business. They have added more arcade machines and everything is laid out better than it was back then. Staff we spoke with was friendly and answered any questions we had. Will continue to come back each time w
Took my daughter here for the first time today. Staff was nice, owner was friendly and helpful. Go kart wait times were a little long so we did the bounce houses instead. My daughter still had a blast. Will definitely be back another day to do the go karts!
What a fantastic Gem. Owners and staff above and beyond friendly and welcoming. Great fun for our entire family. This is not your completely renovated over priced fun park it is a simple step back in time where you and your kiddos can enjoy yourself like the old days. Hands down wonderful people.
I brought my daughter and my grandchildren to this place!! I was very apprehensive at first but it turned out to be the very best experience ever!! We had the most awesome time!! We started at the skating rink that took us back to the 80's!! WOW!! The go carts were awesome! They said a bowling alley is coming I CAN'T WAIT!!
We always have an amazing time when we come. Everything & everyone was great
Took both of my nephews (9 & 5 ) a few weeks ago. They loved it and so did I! They are still in the process of remodeling, so there walls arent nice and pretty (definitely doesnt warrwnt the reactions ive seen in these reviews though, but the staff was super nice and there was almost a staff member of every section of this place. I almost would have let my nephews run off on their own in there if i wasnt just a nervous person in general. Absolutely loved the skating rink though! Only one locally anymore and
Loved this place!! My son and husband enjoyed the lazer tag and my daughter and I enjoyed the bouncy inflatables and arcade room. I highly recommend!! The staff was so awesome and friendly, it's unusual to see such nice people anymore . These people were genuinely nice and helpful. Will definitely be back.
My family Absolutely loved this place. The go carts was the biggest hit. The skating rink is awesome, & there is alot of Arcades games & good prizes. The staff are very helpful & kind, Absolutely loved the lady at the cash register her name started with an A & the young man running the races. We had alot planned for our trip to Helen but my teenagers & husband was obsessed with this place. I'm so glad we found it!! One if the owners where present as well & made our visit extra fun. ?? So many thing in one
Water dripping from the ceiling, no ac. Had to of been at least 90 degrees in there with minimum airflow. Everything is overpriced. A worker told us they had 2 heat strokes in the last week. This is a DANGEROUS place. We took my 6 month old baby with my niece. It was terrifying. We were all dripping sweat. Employees were unprofessional. We payed to do the racing, and there was a welder in there working on the track. We were told to "drive around him" "don't drive towards the light". Extremely dangerous plac
The fun factory was indeed fun! They iffer go karts, laser tag, arcade games, bounce houses, roller skating, and more! It was amazing! They have go karts that go 50 mph! The staff are friendly and the prices are definitely worth it!
WAY overpriced! A lot of the games in the game room weren't working. To get to the bounce area, you have to go outside, across the parking lot and into the next parking lot. You enter a large building, and are instantly hit with an awful stench. You walk through several rooms and hallways on a soaking wet carpet, and you realize that is where part of the stink is coming from. You finally get to the bounce room, which apparently was an old bar. The overpowering smell of mold is nauseating. I suggest if you
This place is great, first off the place is massive, Second there is so so much to do, and third the staff is very friendly. It was my first time going and I had so much fun I'm definitely going back. The place seems to be in the process of being remodeled but that's no biggie. And the arcade games actually give you the tickets you deserve
Everything is basically $20 and up per person to do anything they offer. The go carts are $23 a person for 8 minutes. It can expensive when you are in a large group.. None of the place is air conditioned except skating rink room. Only thing positive to say is when a quarter machine took our money they were sweet and quick to fix the issue for us. Staff, I would give at least 4 stars if not more. ??
Horrible service, very dirty place, and run by low class. They kept moving my family back in line when we were waiting for go karts, and we wanted a refund. The girl at the register told us it would take 1 business day. We went back the next day after no refund and the male at the register basically insulted and cussed out my husband. Do not go here. Also, the owner was the one who offered cash back in return then refused to give it. They're also continuing to argue with me over leaving an honest review. Go
Only one functioning double go-kart had us waiting twenty minutes to take a spin, but they were nice about it. I like that they let you know when you've got one lap left instead of just making you stop. My kids enjoyed the arcade games.
Arcade games were awesome. I love that the second arcade area near the back is old fashioned tokens and not a card. Takes me back to my childhood. I did notice some leaks in the roof, dripping into buckets, but that didn't really bother me. The inflatable room was ok. The reason I'm leaving two stars is because of the friendliness of the staff, or lack there of. The girl that was working in the second arcade area had a bit of an attitude. I brought tickets up to exchange for prizes and she completely igno
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
