??Horrible HORRIBLE HORRIBLE ?? I'm working a review while standing in line in the snack line. I'm number 10 in line and I'm only half way to the cash register!?????????????? Someone has to bowl my turn while I wait in line for 30+ minutes. I'm sorry to leave this crappy review but, it must be done. You guys are make too much money to be miss managing your resources. There's no reason there should be 3-4 people in concessions, serving all these people. IT?S CALLED ?SUPPLY AND DEMAND?! We paid for the food

Great place for family & friends to pass a good time. Our family of four bowled for about 2-hours then spent another hour in the arcade. The pizza we ordered was hot, fresh and surprisingly delicious. Arcade has a good selection of games including Jurassic Park, which my son and I have to play AND beat every single time we come upon one in the wild! Overall, I definitely recommend!

Very nice establishment! Great place to take the family for some bowling and arcade fun.

A phenomenal bowling center thst should serve as a role model for all bowling centers across the country. Clean, spacious and just a fantastic family focused place. It also caters to the competitive bowler (Specto, tournaments, quality pro shop). A great place to bowl.

Updated the young lady apologize. For the way she handled the situation. She really seams to be a sweet young lady.. The lane itself was great the service at the bar was left with a very sour impression in my mouth. The young lady who started a week ago( 4-15-25) was very rude and instead of fixing the problem she just got ignorant with the customers. Stating that she's only been there a week

First time visiting the city bowling in the usbc nationals and decided to check out a alley in Baton Rouge after finishing to have it shut down horrendously with poor customer service and interaction from one individual in particular. My wife called to make sure there wasn't league or what lane availability was available, girl on the phone said there was league but it was a small league and that there were plenty of lanes available regardless . We quickly got our nationals team together and got to the cen

Shout out Mr. Shawn, Justin, & Walter. Great service from these young men. They display strong professionalism and enthusiasm. They make the experience at all star lanes. Great staff and great experience.

Whoever works the grill has a TERRIBLE attitude! I think her name is Calzota/zona something like that. No customer service skills whatsoever, and attitude just nasty, even as she was training a new employee. Experience would have been a 4 if it hadn't been for her???????(on the left). On top of that, when I informed the manager DeShawn he says she is ?just like that? no she needs some type of customer service class!

We always have an amazing family experience here. We love coming here we love bowling. The food is great, and the cocktails are even more amazing. Take some time out for yourself and your family and children, and treat yourself to a nice family night of bowling.

Open lanes everywhere but had to wait an hour before we were given lanes. Then after 5 frames were told they were going to move us to a different set of lanes only to be told that they didn't have room for us. There were at 30 Open lanes. Will not be returning.

My family of 6 had a ball for about 110$ with the family pack . may be lesser but i know i was surprised how low it was for us all. we love to bowl now that atmosphere is good . kids do hang but hey didnt we all. also there is a bar .. 10* from mom of 4

My son and I were in town for an event and went bowling on college night. After a certain time, it was 50 cent games for college students with an ID but $1 for everyone else. It was a full house, to say the least, even though they have 64 lanes. The lanes and equipment were top notch, which is how I judge a bowling alley. I was very disappointed in the staff at the front. Despitesone bring polite, they were, 9verall, more intetesyedin visiting with each other than handling their long lines in a timely

Our lane had issues the entire time we bowled. Pins falling over, balls stuck, rack stuck. But the drinks were amazing!

Love the deals. Staff can be rude but it is Baton Rouge. Mostly welcoming, they're clearly overworked by management. Still love the atmosphere. Wish they did the strobe lights every night and not just on Saturday.

My husband and I went there on a Saturday night. We had a great time but they do have police that are there all night and we did see a fight but it was handled appropriately and quickly.

We were in town for the USBC nationals tournament and came to All Star Lanes to practice. Desk personnel was kind and helpful and the bathrooms were clean!

Great local house! No Bowlero BS. Friendly staff, well maintained and are in the middle of an upgrade. Go and support your local house!

I love all stars. Can't no one over power me. 5 strikes in a row and I'm dominating. But I love the late night stays after 1am. Greattttt place to go on da weekend!!!!!

We had such a enjoyable company Christmas party at All Star Lanes! Great service, excellent food, and a fun environment. Shout out to the bartender Joel for being knowledgeable and friendly and to Peter for his delish red beans and rice and homemade Carmel pecan pies!

Called ahead to confirm open bowling and space available. Was assured there was plenty of space available. Arrive 20mins later and was told no space available and that we'd be put on a wait list seemingly for about 1 hour before a lane opened up. While waiting we started chatting with a gentleman about the USBC Open Championship in town. Turns out this guy was a well established local within the bowling community and was assisting with a Mini Event going on with Bowlers Journal. He tried to assist us in get

Lots of lanes and they all function quite well. For a family of four, you'll probably spend $200. That's with snacks and two hours of play with four shoe rentals.

Nice facility. Many lanes. Kids arcade and pro shop.large tables to sit at and space near lanes to sit as well. Large parking lot.

Went here for Bowlers Journal Championships during USBC Nationals. There a LOT of lanes and the rates are very affordable.

We love bowling. We utilize kids bowl free during the summer. My son was on a homeschool league. We've had great experiences here. Everything is clean and sanitized. The arcade could be better. Some broken games and the ticket counter is always closed. Food choices are great. Could be priced a little lower in my opinion. Overall we love it here.

We came in on a whim and it wasn't crowded. Everything was clean and neat, staff was friendly and helpful.

I was therewith my family. We were having a good time. The only thing was the sweeper for the pins kept getting stuck. It really took up a lot of our time we had paid for, cause we had to keep trying to fix it.

Was in town for the national bowling tournament and the bowlers journal was held here. The facility is huge! Holding 64 lanes total my favorite part was how much seating was available.

Family night out! We had a blast. 5 people -2 hour play with a free large pizza and pitcher of sprite. We played 2.5 games. Somewhere around $60 I think...

Went on quarter night, had a blast. Employees were friendly and helpful

Great experience. Great drinks! Excellent bartenders. The bowling was excellent! So much stuff to do there.

Decent house, lanes kept breaking down though during Bowlers Journal. The older couple in the pro shop were great to talk to and super helpful.

Had an awesome time friendly service clean establishment very family friendly

The facility inside was great, the location was a bit concerning at night. I'd recommend coming during daylight.

great prices after 9:30PM. I just wish they go back to 9 PM deals.

Journal tournament happens there at the same time ask the US Open invitational. Nice lanes. Arcade, food and bae.

Nice facility. Large number of lanes. Arcade, bar, snack bar, and pro shop.

Highly recommend for family fun. Good prices and great food and drinks for all ages. Clean atmosphere. So much fun! The pizza is yummy!

Nice facility, great cafe and bar as well. Definitely friendly people there!

Not the kind of bowling alley we're accustomed to in Georgia. Expensive for bowling. Paid for my kids to play putt putt, got outside and there is standing water everywhere bc they no longer run the fountains nor filled them in = mosquitoes and bugs everywhere. If your ball goes in the nasty water, you have to fish it out...

The experience was great. We had my son's birthday party there. The boys had an awesome time bowling and hanging out. The only downside (not really a complaint) was that the snack bar was overwhelmed by the number of guests ordering food. All of the employees were very professional and helped make the party a great one. But, everything was clean and in good working order. A good time was had by all.

This place is going to crap rapidly. Specifically the lady yall have working the front desk now on Sunday mornings is rude & not helpful.

Parents let their kids run into bowlers lanes, and employees just let it fly. Worst alley I've ever been in. They are also the only lanes left in the city. Go when the kids are in school or you will be wasting your time and money

Huge bowling alley. Good place to hold the side tournaments for the USBC Open. Bowlers Journal & the BTM.

It's a good time to go bowling ?? here at All Star Lanes. They have plenty lanes to bowl on. The people are friendly and helpful ?? so come on by and enjoy yourself!

We loved All-Star. The lanes are fair, and the facility is spacious, clean, cool, and comfortable. Wait-time to bowl was long a few times that we went, but overall, we loved it!

We had a great experience bowling. The staff didn't really clean our tables too well and not sure what happened to the food, but it was seriously awful and definitely not worth the price we paid. The guy who took our order was extremely nice and pleasant. So was the lady who was helping him.

Very nice bowling alley. We where there for the bowlers journal.

Great time had, by all. Can to a 7th grade bday party with my son.

Solid bowling alley. Bowled the bowlers journal there. Tons of lanes. Not the cleanest bowling alley ever but lanes ran flawless.

I enjoy all star lane atmosphere is always a vibe when I go... food was hot, bathroom was getting right before I walked in so that gave brownie point from me. Drinks was also great just how I liked them

Super fun Birthday parties at a reasonable price with great happy workers who assist with a smile! They are helpful and knowledgeable!

Prices to bowl are fair. The food isn't the best but they have alot of lanes ??

I love coming here with my friends. The abundance of lanes make it easy to be socially distant. The staff are always friendly.

Great time with my son . He loved all of it the games and the bowling will deffinetly be back

Great place. Bar was closed during tournament.

Great place to bowl for families and even adults only after a certain time

Excellent place to have some fun.

Fun. Good food. Awesome customer service. Except for the one guy (young white male with brown hair) in the shoe side...he's rude. Overall we had tons of fun.

Bowled during the Sue Braud tournament. Lanes were great and event was run well. Only good bowling alley left in city since circle bowl closed. Hope it can continue to be a place for bowlers. All other places in town are "entertainment centers" and do not maintain, oil, or really care about the bowling part of the facilities. All star is the bowling mecha for the capital.

Never in life did I think a bowling alley would said oh well when they lanes was eating up the bowling balls and took 2 chunks out of a ball and we told them game 1 frame 3 place is a joke

Very friendly and helpful staff and can always get a lane! Good prices too considering inflation! Well stocked store if you want your own equipment too!

Great place to bowl! There was no soap to wash hands in either bathroom though, yuck! ?? I think it's $1.39 or so a game if you make it before noon on a Sunday.

Approaches are REALLY tacky. Very difficult to slide. Beware...

The bowling alley was very clean and the prices seem a little high, but upon arriving I realized that they have deals running everyday that give very good value. For example, on Tuesday you pay $10 in cash and every game of bowling plus shoe rentals are 25 cents a piece. My only issue during our time was the pin setter broke a few times. Beyond that, I recommend this place and am sure it was just an issue with our lane. I will most definitely be returning.

Had an extremely great time, recommend for adults and children! Food was great also.

The operations manager lacks rapport and don't understand who comes there on the regular. If our money and business is not appreciated then I can gladly shift everyone to Gonzales Premier Bowling lanes. 5/9/2025 Update: Unfortunately I bowl league and this where we come on those days but if you can, go to Gonzalez because All-Star and it's management is trash.

We enjoyed my youngest Graduation party with Family and friends. Everything was wonderful, thou the concession stand workers was rude and very unprofessional

Bowled the BR tournament this weekend 8/13 &8/14. I went into the pro shop to buy a pair of BOA Grey and lime greens off the shelf, in my size! The PSO was too lazy to find the other shoe, stating that Dexter only sends one shoe to display which is a complete lie! They send them in pairs so that they are on hand to be sold! Tim was just too lazy to find the other shoe. So needless to say, I didn't buy them. If you can't find them I understand but don't lie about it. Pure laziness Tim Magnum. Pure laziness!

Place is great. The snack bar has a ton of selections and there is also a game room. There is also a mobile ordering cart for food. The energy is upbeat and welcoming.

We had so much fun... Kids Bowl free is an awesome deal.

This location has always been a family-friendly environment. The pizza is amazing. I wouldn't recommend the alcoholic drinks. For some reason, the service and quality of drinks have been off. Other than that, it's a vibe at this location. Just be cautious when spending money on alcoholic drinks. It's a disappointment .

Beautiful place, food was very good! People were super wonderful. Especially at the food place!

Clean family fun. Went on a friday night, i myself have not been bowling in years so i didnt know what to expect. But the place is kept up and was not overly crowded. We had a blast.

Bowled there for Bowlers Journal. It was a great place

These people are so rude. Had my 6 year old daughter in there crying because they didn't wanna let her bowl and they had 4 lanes open. Come on people y'all gotta do better than that.

Nice spacious center with food and drink!

I spend every Thursday here for league night. It's like a home away from home. Lanes are clean, food and drinks are good, and the staff is great.

Nice facility. Staff is very friendly.

Always have a good time bowling . Center is slowing being updated, which is needed.

Such a fun environment! Helpful staff.

Great place, to take your family. The food is very tasty as well.

Our group had 4 lanes and we all had a good time. One lane would not return the balls, so that was an issue that slowed us down. Pizza was devoured by our group before I got a slice, so it must have been pretty good, I think we ordered 5. We plan to come back and do it again in the future.

I just got off the phone with the person of the pro shop and it was okay the first time I called her but the second time everything just went downhill she just totally went off on me and I try to explain myself but she wouldn't have it let me tell you something if that was more then one bowling pro shop I take it there cuz you ain't getting this and if she could fix it I would have sold it to her if she gave me the right price but both things are not happening Golly what is up with businesses nowadays they

Nice place to bring family and have a good time, there's a bar that has a decent selection of alcoholic beverages. And the pizza was great

Loved it. My kiddos had a blast ??

The pizza wasn't that good, but the alcoholic drinks were perfect! I didn't like that the ball selection was scarce had two small kids with me and the struggle was real! Customer service was subpar at best... But, the guys at the shoe station were really helpful! So much has changed over the years.... I would bring my kids again... They enjoyed themselves and that's all that matters.

Great pay and bowl. Staff wasn't the quickest when responding to issues and not the most friendly workers also not rude. It was fun overall. Concession booth was kind of expensive and didn't taste the greatest.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
